Such an amazing interesting rustic place exactly as we had imagined. We loved every bit of it. The area around is quite and very close to get into busy Bangkok. The staff is very friendly, very accommodating, they even tried to give us a room earlier as we landed much earlier from the check in time. Would highly recommend this property and if I come back to Bangkok this will be my go to place.

I loved how when you come in from the street, it's like walking into a little sanctuary. It's very quiet at night time for sleeping, I really enjoyed the retro/recycled theme - much more pleasant than a sterile hotel. Most of all, I really enjoyed the staff - how absolutely lovely they are. Very friendly, helpful & always smiling - special thanks to Jah (I hope I got the name right)- you answered all my questions with a big smile - you're like a ray of sunshine!😊

Nothing it was just perfect for us!

The ambiance of the hotel is quite unique, with a vintage touch, quite different from the busy and noisy Khaoshan area vibes. Very spacious, in the room and in the common areas, we could spend some time chilling in the yard in the morning or late evening, quite nice.

The toilet / shower, is really THE down side of the hotel. The shower is not separated from the toilet, which means whenever someone took a shower (or even the night before), the floor will remain wet. When you want to go for the toilet, it's all wet... We were 3 living in 1 rooms, so the floor is always wet, soon it's becominy dirty... Moreover, the toilet light is connected to the toilet exhaust fan, which is super loud. We had to go to the toilet in dark in the middle of the night, in order not to wake up the others, and as the floor is wet, it's dangerouse (could be slippery). This unfortunate situation makes it less worthy for the price and ranking, we really suffered.

Such a cute, unique place to stay - I loved it and would definitely book again.

Je n’ai pas aimé le personnel de nuit je suis arrivée pour la première nuit et l’accueil était choquante aucunes informations pour qu’on se sente bien et en sécurité quand on pose des questions il était très arrogant on avait l’impression de le déranger et ça était la même chose la nuit suivante.

Eine kleines Oase in Bangkok mit ruhigen Zimmern, einem super Café im Haus und einem tollen Innenhof, wo es sich prima entspannen lässt. Nette local Ecke, 7/11 auch direkt um die Ecke und mit Grab ist man in wenigen Minuten überall. Zu Fuß zur Khao San sind es ca. 20 Minuten.

L'extrême gentillesse du personnel et la possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner sur place. Très bel établissement, chambre spacieuse, décoration unique. Propreté irréprochable. Calme. Même s'il n'y a pas d'ascenseur, les bagages sont montés grâce à un ascenseur de service. Cet établissement est particulièrement intéressant pour des voyageurs avec enfants.

Rangements quasi inexistants et aucune prise proche du lit: ce fut une problématique puisque branchement nécessaire d'une machine pour apnée du sommeil.

Nous n’y avons passé qu’une nuit avant de repartir en France donc peu d’expérience dans l’hôtel. Mais globalement c’est un hôtel assez typique et authentique (style auberge de jeunesse améliorée). La déco est très sympa avec plein d’objets anciens. A mon avis c’est un endroit sympa où rester quelques jours pour visiter Bangkok. Bon rapport qualité / prix. Belle vue depuis notre chambre sur Big Buddha.

Éventuellement dans la suite familiale il serait bien de prévoir une porte coulissante entre les 2 chambres.

We really liked the laidback atmosphere, it reminded us of our backpacking days 20 years ago. Only this time we were traveling with our kids. The courtyard was very cozy and we enjoyed good coffee and food we bought at the markets there.

There was not enough storing space for 4 people in the room, we would have appreciated a cupboard or chairs to put our clothes on.

Good for families at the heart of bangkok. Rooms were beautiful decorated. The family toom works well for us. We were able to walk to the next pier and also to the main sightseeing starting points. Free water! Great hotel!

La habitación era muy bonita y amplia con 2 balcones en la última planta.

Me hubiera gustado tener un hervidor en la habitación para poder hacer un té. El desayuno no estaba incluido en el precio de la habitación (unos 80 euros para 2 personas y los precios del bar para el desayuno eran algo altos, casi lo mismo que en Europa. Lo sabíamos antes de venir pero el nivel de precios, no.

This place was wonderful. So quirky and creative. I loved my room so much I extended my stay. The restaurant is great. Lovely outdoor area to sit and relax. It's a short walk to a ferry stop. Fridge to store your things and filtered water.

It can get a bit noisy with noise from the hall way when others slam their doors. Sound proofing wasn't great, but it didn't really detract from my experience. The location isn't convenient if you're wanting to use the skytrain, BTS etc.

Phranakorn Nornlen is my favourite hotel in Thailand, I stay here every visit! It is clean, with the comfiest bed and such a unique personality. The bathroom is simple but nice, the rooms are so homely and every room is unique!!! The cafe downstairs has some very delicious drinks and tasty food. The location is great, many food options close by, aswell as just a short walk to the pier, khao san road and many temples. Staff are always amazing with such warmth and big smiles! They offer baggage storage, we also checked in late during the night and had no problems. Such a welcoming hotel

Truely nothing to complain about

Très belle atmosphère dans cet hôtel à la déco particulièrement recherchée et soignée, on s’y sent bien, un havre de paix. Chambre spacieuse, propre, lits confortables. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié le confort des espaces communs.

Prix un peu élevé par rapport à d’autres hôtels au confort similaire.

Atmosphère calme, un banian est situé au milieu du jardin de l hôtel apportant de la fraîcheur et apaisement en contraste avec l agitation des rues extérieures. Décoration originale. On peut entreposer des aliments dans des frigos et fonctionnement qui peut rappeler les auberges de jeunesse.

Nous avions adoré notre premier séjour il y a 10 ans. Personnel adorable et attentif. Je pense qu il y aurai quelques changements à faire pour améliorer le confort des hôtes : renouveler les matelas, changer les prises électrique pour des prises usb ou usc. Discordance sur la carte du café : impossible de prendre une boisson «  wake up » car nous ne sommes pas dans les bons horaires… également impossible de prendre un Thaï tea à 16h car seulement disponible au petit déjeuner…

Notre arrivée était très tardive mais l’hôtel a su me rassurer que ce n'était pas un problème. Personnel attentionné et charmant. Décoration des lieux exceptionnelle, on aurait aimé y rester plus longtemps! Le jardin intérieur est un vrai havre de paix. A disposition, il y a de nombreux équipements : fontaine à eau, frigo commun, et machine à laver (que nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tester). A proximité, il y a un 7 eleven et de nombreux street food (quartier calme).

A savoir, pour certains voyageurs pour qui ça serait un frein : il n'y a pas d'ascenseur.

I loved my stay here! The hotel is a real gem - the rooms have a real vintage vibe and décor. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have a nice balcony - the staff were so generous and assisted in helping me changing rooms too! The place has a really nice café where you can enjoy breakfast and lunch and a nice area to sit around and meet other travellers. The pier is only a short walk away and there are many restaurants a short 15 minute walk away. This place is great for solo travellers!

Nothing - I will stay here on my next visit to Bangkok!

Super leuk en knus hotel, lekkere plekken om even te relaxen. Inrichting was heel erg leuk! Koelkast om je drinken te bewaren en koud water om te pakken was fijn. Dicht bij de express boat waarmee we makkelijk naar de grote bezienswaardigheden konden ( Wat Pho en Wat Arun) We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad met ons gezin van 5 ( kinderen van 13, 11 en 9)

The location is great and the rooms are large and spacious. The restaurant area is very chilled and has a nice vibe.

After a year of travelling around Asia, this is the first time I've felt compelled to leave such a negative review. Unfortunately, I found my entire stay extremely disappointing. The young male receptionist who checked me in was so unfriendly that I was genuinely shocked. It's understandable that not everyone enjoys their job every day, but as a guest arriving at a new place, I expected at least a basic level of hospitality. He gave me no information about the property, didn't explain any of the facilities, and didn't even bother to show me where my room was. He simply pointed me in the direction of the stairs. He was the most unwelcoming receptionist I've encountered during my travels. My room was located at the top of the stairs, so my sleep was constantly disturbed by people coming and going loudly. The bathroom was filthy and full of ants. I reported this to the same receptionist, but he seemed completely uninterested and didn't appear to take my complaint seriously. Literally like a rave for ants in the bathroom. Vile. The bedside table also had a disgusting sticky substance on it, which made the room feel unclean overall. In the end, I chose to leave for the airport five hours earlier than necessary because I simply didn't want to stay there any longer. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing accommodation experiences I've had.

Et av de mest sjarmerende hotellene vi har bodd på. Hotellet er fullt av kreative detaljer og har en helt egen atmosfære. Det føles som en liten, grønn oase, godt skjermet fra støyen og tempoet i Bangkok, samtidig som det ligger ganske sentralt. De ansatte var hyggelige, og vi trivdes fra første stund. Kafeen på stedet var kjempekoselig og frokosten god.

Liegt einigermaßen ruhig in einer Seitenstraße, der Verkehr auf der Krungkasem Road ist aber gedämpft zu hören. Sehr nettes shabby Ambiente. Freundliche Lobby mit Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Zimmer sehr schön, hervorragende Matratze, 4 Steckdosen, großes schönes Bad (aber auch shabby), kein Schrank aber reichlich Abstell- und Aufhängemöglichkeiten, wird täglich aufgeräumt, 2 Flaschen Wasser bekommt man jeden Tag auch wenn eine vom Vortag noch nicht geöffnet wurde, kein Kühlschrank in Zimmer, aber auf dem Flur für alle Bewohner. Restaurant haben wir nicht getestet, zu viel tolles Streetfood in der nahen Umgebung.

Kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre schöner.Ach ja, recht hellhörig, aber das geht in solchem Stil nicht anders.

Sehr ruhige Lage. Fantastisch gestalteter Innenhof. Super nettes Personal, sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das ganze Hotel ist sehr gemütlich, liebevoll und ansprechend im Retrostil gestaltet. Die Einrichtung ist einfach aber zweckmässig.

Die Küche dürfte von mir aus mehr Salz verwenden, aber das ist ja Geschmacksache.

This was the cutest hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable and the whole ambiance of the hotel was immaculate.

I loved the chill out area where I could lie down and also eat at the low tables - the plants were lush and healthy and I was able to relax, contemplate and meditate. It is a really unique space with a combination of contemporary chillout area and cafe and vintage. I also liked that it's eco-conscious, unpretentious and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. The room had vintage-style furniture, and the walls were decorated with simple and colourful murals and it had a small balcony with hanging plants. The service was excellent with friendly staff. Sam has a beautiful spirit. It's also just a couple of minutes walk to a great massage shop.

The property was so quaint. I love the decor. A lot of thought and detail was put into the hotel. As a solo traveler felt safe and comfortable staying here.

We were in Room 209 and 208. 208 looked over rooftops and was fine. Room 209 was heaven, with a small balcony and nestled in trees where you could watch squirrels chase each other all day! The location was super quiet, with daily life happening around us. Quiet local neighbourhood, great street food and second hand clothes markets. Close to river boats, peak hour khlong boats and the 53 bus. Coffee at the Cafe Melbourne quality! Lived that there were overhead fans so we slept with balcony doors open and fan on, no AC.

Everything was great, especially for the price. Beware the local clothes washing business, they shrank our clothes.

I loved my time here. If you are into art and funky quirky things, you will absolutely enjoy your stay here.

Super schönes Hotel, das ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann. Die Zimmer sind alle unterschiedlich und so so schön gestaltet. Man fühlt sich so wohl. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und hilft, wo es nur kann. Das Restaurant ist auch zu empfehlen - egal, was ich gegessen habe, es war alles hervorragend und lecker. Es liegt nicht ganz im eigentlichen Zentrum, aber die Bootsanlegestelle ist fussläufig und von dort kommt man mit dem Boot zu allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten, was eine schöne Abwechslung zum chaotischen Verkehr in Bangkok ist. Absolute Empfehlung!

We loved everything about this accommodation! First time being in Thailand and we couldn’t have found a better place to stay in! The cozy garden, the friendly staff, the layout, the lovely and creative decor and great location where you have access to anything you want “7-11 is right around of the corner”, highly recommended and would love to come back again! :D

The cafe at the hotel is fabulous- great service. I thought the decor and the rooms were great- all the hand painting is really a beautiful touch, The bed was excellent and thought it was a great ensuite bathroom. Room service was excellent! I will definitely come back next time I am in Bangkok- I already recommended to a friend!
