De bedden zijn oud en kraken bij het omdraaien. Hoe moeilijk is het om een goed bed neer te zetten. De matras was prima maar koop een goed bed.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026La posizione è molto buona, appena fuori dal paese. Si arriva a piedi nella piazza in pochissimi minuti. Il paese è proprio all'uscita/ingresso della Grosscklognerstrasse ed i dintorni sono verdi e riposanti. La colazione è a buffet ed abbondante. Una mattina che il tempo lo permetteva l'abbiamo fatta in terrazza ed è stata stupenda. Le scale interne sono ripide e le camere sono al primo e secondo piano, quindi esistono barriere architettoniche, non eliminabili vista proprio la tipologia caratteristica della struttura. Se potessi dare un consiglio direi di prevedere di sostituire il rivestimento di moquette degli scalini.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Ich habe das Haus zufällig bei einer Wanderung entdeckt und fand es von außen schon sehr ansprechend. Die Zimmer stehen dem in Nichts nach. Unsere Gastgeber waren super lieb, das Frühstück mit frischen Eiern von den eigenen Hühnern im Garten auch sehr gut und wir kommen nächstes Jahr sehr sehr gerne wieder!

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Super herzlicher Empfang – wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt! Die Zimmer waren sauber und gemütlich, der Blick vom Balkon einfach wunderschön. Das Frühstück war richtig lecker. Ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026The property is within a 5 minute walk from the bus stop. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and has a variety of food to suit all guests. The proprietor communicated quickly when there was a question.
There was no one to greet me when I arrived. I had to call the proprietor to get instructions for the key lock box. Not a big deal, but it was a little off putting.

They were so friendly and accommodating putting on an incredible breakfast for us catering to our special dietary requirements (we are both gluten and dairy free). Nadine recommended a wonderful day walk for us where we visited the Bricciuskapelle chapel. They also recommended the best local restaurants and shared the family history of mountain guiding over the generations which is on display throughout the house. Very special.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2025Sehr gastfreundliches Haus, die Besitzer geben sich alle Mühe dass man sich wohl fühlt und wirklich abschalten kann vom Alltag. Sie sind begeisterte Bergsteiger, lieben die Natur. Das Haus ist noch vom Großvater, es ist vieles noch wie früher, dennoch mit Komfort der heutigen Zeit.
Das Haus hat seinen Charme, ist hellhörig und das Zimmer nicht für Vollschlanke geeignet.

Die Lage ist schlichtweg atemberaubend – mit direktem Blick auf die majestätischen Gipfel und nur wenige Gehminuten vom Ortskern entfernt. Wer Ruhe, Natur und ein Stück alpiner Romantik sucht, wird hier fündig. Das historische Gebäude strahlt Charakter und Charme aus. Man spürt die Geschichte in jedem Winkel – von der liebevoll erhaltenen Fassade bis hin zu den alten Holzböden. Allerdings knarzt es hier und da: Bett und Treppen geben gelegentlich akustisches Feedback, was aber eher zur Authentizität des Hauses beiträgt als stört. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber solide – frisches Brot, Aufschnitt, Marmelade und Kaffee. Kein überbordendes Buffet, aber alles, was man für einen guten Start in den Tag braucht. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Wirtsleute: herzlich, aufmerksam und stets hilfsbereit. Ihre Gastfreundschaft verleiht dem Aufenthalt eine persönliche Note, die man in größeren Hotels oft vermisst. 📝 Fazit: Wer ein charmantes, geschichtsträchtiges Haus in traumhafter Lage sucht und kleine Eigenheiten mit einem Lächeln hinnimmt, wird sich in der Villa Brandstätter sehr wohlfühlen.

Ausstattung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Im Bad war der Geruch etwas unangenehm vom Abfluss, ging durch Lüften weg.

1.) A házigazda egyáltalán nem beszél angolul. Szerintem ha valaki vendéglátással foglalkozik akkor ez nincsen rendben. 2.) A mi szobánkhoz nem tartozott fürdőszoba. Ez sem a képek alapján nem derült ki, sem pedig a hirdetés alapján. Egy folyosói zuhanyzót és wc lehetett használni.
