The room was very clean, had own bathroom, located in a quite place. Very close to the Brussels centrum and very convinient location from the airport. And additionally wonderfull host. Thank you :)

This is a place I would come back to, should I visit Brussels again. I only stayed for 2 nights but found everything to be perfect. 1) Very clean, 2) super confortable bed (if you're travelling for work, good rest is important), 3) thoughtfull supplies in the bathroom (cotton disks, menstrual pads, etc), 4) charming (yes, asthetic is important and it isn't lacking here), 5) the host replied to questions almost immediately by text, and sent clear instructions for check-in/out, 6) convinient location, close to many EU spaces.

Das Appartement liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, trotzdem ist es mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut erreichbar. Das Gebäude ist sehr schön und auch das Zimmer ist sehr gepflegt und hübsch eingerichtet.

The location was superb. The host is wonderful and very helpful. allowed us late check-out at no additional cost

I was disappointed with the room — it wasn’t clean, there was rubbish left in the bin, and the bedsheet looked as if someone had already slept in it (the owner said it wasn’t ironed, but it didn’t feel fresh). The room also wasn’t quiet — I could hear everything from the room upstairs. The neighborhood felt unsafe as well: during the night, there was an incident involving the police, and many neighbors were out on the street. I also noticed several suspicious people around the area. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this property.

An idyllic place to stay. It felt like staying with a friend. The location is easily accessible by bus and the neighbourhood is quiet. There are all the facilities you could need and the room is airy and clean. The shared bathroom is clean and there are all the necessary accessories needed from cotton pads to a hair dryer and an iron. I loved the closet space and little balcony in my room. I will be recommending this to any people I know travelling to Brussels.

The place was amazing, Inga is a great host and really nice person. I had the room with a shared bathroom and WC. The room is spacious and lot of light, very peaceful place. The bathroom and WC were very clean and I shared it with another lady, and therefore it was easy as we had different schedules. I just want to flag, if you are looking for a place where you can hang out in the evening in a living room with friends and colleagues , this is not it. This is a place to sleep, rest and have lovely coffee in the morning. I highly recommend it for business trips.

Just that the living room was closed in the evening, but of course Inga provided a kettle in the bedroom so i still could have a hot tea before bed. So this was really nice and compensated for it :-)

Felt like home, the kind of house I dream to live in the area. Very nice, big and luminous room with balcony, quiet and relaxing, comfortable bed and liked the wooden floors. The owner makes sure that you have everything you need, very discreet and prompt in the same time. I felt wonderful in the house, very nice atmosphere!

A very pretty place in a lovely quiet street and neighborhood not far from the center of Brussels (easily reachable by public transportation or even a relaxed walk). Everything in the building shows the care of the owner, who was also very helpful giving directions for reaching the place and totally flexible with check-in and check-out hours as I needed. Supplies and amenities cover every need. Written communication is preferred.

Extra hospitable and warm owner, who considered every detail in the interiors, you can really see that the premises were carefully thought through. Super clean. Outrageously comfortable bed. Loved my stay, too bad it was short:)

The staff was very kind and friendly. The location was good, close to public transport stations and in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. All in all, I would definitely recommend this accommodation!

Clean, spacious room with lots of light, also decorated in a very cozy way (much like the entire home). Inga, the hostess was super friendly and helpful.

The location was very good with nearby restaurants and a park. The area was safe and clean. The building facade was beautiful. The accommodation was very clean and the bathroom and toilets spotless.

That our accommodation was on the top floor. I have a problem with mobility and struggled to get to our room. Also the kettle had a broken spout. I also need to mention that the coffee granules were stale and that there wasn't any milk.

A very pleasant stay in a characterful guesthouse, which feels like a real house and has regular users - always a good sign. No TV in the room (hooray!) and a shared bathroom - no problem. There is public transport nearby, e.g. a bus 63 from Abiorix Sq goes to Centraal Station. One of the few places I've stayed in Europe recently to provide a kettle in the room and free access to a coffee machine downstairs. Friendly, chatty people.

Information is on the thin side. I only found the WiFi by accident. And there could be some local info on e.g. where to find transport.

The host didn’t have us time to breath and she was already demanding money for the dog. Once we told her to give us few minutes it’s she said few words in her language. She charge 20 euro for night for the dog but NOTHING was provided for the dog. No bowls, no bed. Sorry but this is getting ridiculous. It is upsetting to pay for a service but literally nothing in return. We have been in lots of hotel with our dogs and we encounter the same behaviour. I think it is time to start to pretend something if you pay for a service.

The house is located in a peaceful neighbourhood close to european institutions. Everything is clean and tidy. The Host is welcoming and nice. Very recommended.

Beautiful historic house in a quiet residential area. The room was located on the second floor. The bathroom (beautiful and spacious) is shared, however, the tenants from the neighbouring room checked out on the next day after we arrived, and we had the bathroom and the toilet for ourselves as no new tenants checked in :) Very comfy, homey atmosphere. On the first day we went on foot back there from the centre, later we took a bus as it's quite a walk uphill / tiring after all day's sightseeing.

No lift but it was not a big problem for us, it could be for elderly people though.

It was very clean

The residence is very beautiful. It feels like a home as it is cozy (decorated with an eye for detail) and clean. The house is not big like a hotel so it is quite peaceful to stay there. The bed slept nicely and the host is very welcoming and sweet! She responds very quickly and it is easy to ask questions and negotiate. Overall, a very good experience.

The only downside according to us was that we had to share a bathroom with another room. Looking back it was not a problem at all; we had just not been aware.

It was just 15min walk away from the European Parliament. I liked the quiet neighborhood. The bathroom was shared, but I did not find that to be a problem. The hallway was smelling really nice and the hostess was super friendly.

Very beautiful, recently renovated and stylish house in a quiet street very conveniently located for the European quarter. Friendly owner and only a few rooms/guests, feels very homely. Shared facilities are clean and right next to the room (we especially appreciated the bath), and the room is spacious, comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities and a large walk-in wardrobe. It was just what we needed and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Although the owner kindly allows guests to use the coffee machine and fridge, the kitchen is otherwise private and no breakfast was offered on the days we stayed. We didn't mind as we planned to go out for breakfast anyway, but another time we might appreciate being able to make and eat a simple breakfast here.

the apartment is very clean and comfortable. we were in a room that shares a bathroom, but that didn't bother us. we communicated very well and no one had to wait for anyone.

Inga is a lovely host. The access to our room was simple and she was very flexible. Equipment was good, room bathroom and living room very proper.

The accommodation was impeccably clean, presenting an inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. Every corner of the space was thoughtfully decorated, blending modern aesthetics with comfort in a seamless manner. The attention to detail was evident, from the tastefully selected furnishings to the harmonious color schemes that created a serene and welcoming environment. It was clear that the hosts had put a great deal of effort into ensuring that their guests would enjoy not only a clean and comfortable stay but also an aesthetically pleasing one.

To be honest I didn't feel safe on the way from city center to the residence. I would recommend take a bus instead of walking.

It is the second time I am staying here and I will come back more. It is very conveniently located closed to the European institutions and it has a reasonable ratio quality/price for Brussels standards. The host Inga is fantastic, very kind, attentive, responsive and always ready to assist in whatever you need to make your stay unforgettable. The building is a gorgeous art decó with flowers and on a very quiet residential street. The room on the top floor facing is super cozy and charming with little balcony and you have a huge bathroom shared only with another room. The heating works well and so does the wifi connection. Highly recommended for solo travelers for work as you have a homey feeling.

Beautiful decor, lovely room and comfortable bed. Friendly host and nice neighbourhood. All in all a great experience and would visit again.

Had some problems with the front door but nothing major. The rule to turn off the heating when leaving the room was understandable and the room did get warm quite quickly when turning the heat on but I did feel cold for a while when returning to the room after a long day exploring.

Staying at Ambiorix was such a delight. The beauty of the restored house matched the warm hospitality of Inga. I stayed for three nights and it was more than comfortable. Everything was complete, comfy and clean. Add to that Inga as host! She was thoughtful, welcoming and open for a chat!

The place has a shared bathroom, but it is only shared by two persons, so quite private and given hotel prices in the European institutions headquarters, it is it still great value for money.

My stay in this apartment was absolutely delightful! It is a nice cozy place with fantastic interior space for relaxing, and the owner is very generous. The location is very convenient, being very close to the European quarter.

Amazing old building with tons of history, beautiful glaswork and metalwork in foyer and windows, and featuring a nice patio full of plants and flowers where to relax... The place is a B&B with just three rooms, run by a lovely friendly owner that takes care of breakfast and any need of the guest. Location is perfect (near EU buildings) in a lively residential area. Room was spacious and with a nice balcony. I would certainly repeat next time I am in Brussels.

Nothing. My room technically shared a bathroom with another of the bedrooms... but if there was someone lodged there, I never saw them so it was like a private bathroom. At the beginning I thought breakfast was pricey but it was definitely worth it!
