I liked the location as Rocky is located in a quiet neighborhood a bit far away from busy and loud town center. I also liked a lot that the owner and stuff take care of and feed cats and dogs who live nearby.

I would recommend cleaning a bit more.

The owner is a very kind person but sadly the place is not fit for guests.

The bed is uncomfortable and the room is very hot. The window has no screen and is completely open to outside. The kitchen is disgusting with rotten food everywhere and a horrible smell. The bathroom is shared among all the guests and it is also not clean and doesnt have tissues or soap. The room has a ceiling fan that is hanging by a thread and when I arrived I asked the owner for another fan and he basically said no. I tried to sleep the night in the room but I was so hot I couldn’t and ended up leaving this place and sleeping on the beach. This was one of the worst places I’ve ever been and I feel like with simple fixes it could be much better. I usually don’t write bad reviews but I really don’t think this place is fit to have guests

Very welcoming and friendly environment, with adorable cats and dogs 🐾 Bassem was super helpful and recommended nearby trips to amazing places. There’s hot water available in both the bathroom and kitchen, plus dry cleaning services. The location is perfect—very close to Wadi Ghozlan and near Asaala Beach ⛱️ Highly recommended, especially for the great price range!

Really lovely place. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, you immediately feel at home. The rooms are perfect, clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts are always excellent. Great atmosphere, highly recommended!

The host Basem is such a great person, he was very helpful and polite. When I arrived I realized I made a mistake and didn't read that my room had a shared bathroom, he was very kind to recommend places for me to stay in and offer support as well as give me a full refund while it would be their right to charge me. They also let me stay in the room until I made another reservation. The room was very clean and spacious, the pool looked very nice and the outdoor bathrooms were also nice and clean.

I didn't get to stay there as I mentioned, so I don't have much to say. If you go there follow the location then call the host or ask for the entrance photo cuz it's a bit hard to find Be prepared for the 'Homestay' concept, shared kitchen and toilets. IO think this one is close to Assala beach but you need to take a ride for the lighthouse.

The garden of the place has a lovely Vibe and the my room was spacious and comfy. Host was very helpful. Enjoyed my stay!

Use of the laundry was free. One of the staff members shared a Koshari with us one night.

Biggest thing was the heat of the room, it was always too hot. one tiny window with broken bug screen. We were woken up every night by the heat needing to open the door and let more mosquitoes into the room. the beds were both uncomfortable, one very hard and one so old the springs were the only thing present in the mattress, no foam or anything. No included breakfast as stated on booking, the kitchens were both very dirty, kitchen pots filled with dust and congealed fat/ oil from who knows when and most things broken or barely functional. The shower room drain smelt mildly of sewage. Not super clean. Dirty dishes around the yard. Rubbish and broken things everywhere. Places to sit were smelly, broken and dirty from animals. Probably not 100% the fault of Rocky house but one day there were a tonne of big rocks and wood with nails sticking out of it in the pool probably from some of the long term guests kids and it was murky or green water most days. Has potential but at the moment is very poorly managed and resourced.

🫧 🪥: It's not that clean. For that price you can get a better service. No soap 🧼 in the bathroom. There is no proper cleaning stuff. The owner asked me what I need to feel comfortable but I think basic stuff should be given. Breakfast 🍳: The owner forgot to inform me about the breakfast. I asked for compensation, because I paid for it. He ignored my request for compensation. But the staff did a really generous Egyptian breakfast. Rooms 🛏️; it's so lala. Not that comfortable. You can get better rooms for that price.. But the place was really quiet. It has a pool and cute animals.

Самостоятельно найти место невозможно. Это просто белая деревянная дверь в белой стене около голубой трансформаторной будки без всяких опознавательных знаков. Но в звонке нас провели по маршруту, так что нашлись мы достаточно быстро. Само заведение - бедуинские строения на участке земли за высоким забором по соседству с козами и курами. Предусмотрен лобби и бар у бассейна, но они по назначению не используются. Из общественного активно используется только двор с накиданными бедуинскими подушками, где люди проводят время, созерцая небо. По сути это место, где люди живут, самостоятельно себе готовят, убирают и вообще все делают сами. Персонал убирается в общественных санузлах. Бассейн хороший, держится в порядке, освещение ночью во дворе есть.

В номере и на кровати был песок, одна кровать была очень твердая, на второй я пересчитала ребрами все пружины. Уличный туалет, что ближе к нам, нам сказали не посещать, потому что там грязно, а ходить в дальний в общее здание, а там всего один унитаз и душ, что создает риск очередей. Самое главное, из-за чего снизила оценку - не было обещанного завтрака, а это было ключевым при выборе места размещения, не было обещанных полотенец, хорошо что с собой были свои, и не было туалетной бумаги в санузлах, пришлось ехать и покупать салфетки. Также не было заявленного шкафа в номере. Нам, как заехавшим на 1 день, это было не критично, но тем не менее это несоответствие описанию. Кухня очень старая и неуютная на вид, мне не хотелось бы ею пользоваться. Холодильник большой, но он один на всех, мы заглянули, он забит.

It was cool. Good value for money. A good place to crash. Pool was there, complementary dinner was made once. Staff were really nice. Overall comfy. But pick one with an air conditioner if you're gonna stay for longer inside ur room. The yard and chillin area was really nice. Good roof to relax in.

Gotta be cleaner overall. Bathroom needed a lot of cleaning. The listing says fitness room and breakfast included, but those did not exist.

I had an amazing week at Rocky Home Stay in Dahab, The peaceful location, away from the crowds, was exactly what I needed. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, especially Bassem making the stay even more enjoyable. the presence of cats and other animals added a unique charm

It’s a really peaceful and quiet place to relax. The owner is super kind and always happy to help, which made me feel really welcome. I loved the flexible breakfast time and the breakfast itself was delicious. Plus, there are friendly cats and dogs around, which made it feel even cozier. If you're looking for a chill spot in Dahab, this is it!

The host is super friendly and helpful. 😭It’s a bit away from Dahab Main Street but he has a bike for rent. Also he served breakfast as I liked the time. I had to go to the gobus station the other day and he gave me a free ride as he was going in the same direction. Loved the movie night as we set up a fire in the camp and the host shared with me some free pancakes. The area is away from the main tourist center but very quiet and peaceful. There’re some lovely dogs and cats. The bathroom is clean and has hot water, lovely.

The facilities are a bit simple. Very simple and basic bed but equals to the amount you pay. It’s a bit cold at night. I asked for three basic blankets but still cold. I’d recommend the host to have more heavy quilts and get the hairdryer so the whole hotel can borrow it when needed. Also, I can hear the sound of cars passing through the window sometimes but it’ll work with earplugs. Mostly, it’s quiet.

The distance between the room and bathroom is far, it is not convenient.

Great place to unwind. It's in a quiet, peaceful part of town close to the Darwish fish restaurant. There are lots of spaces to relax, staff are very friendly and super accommodating. The place exceeded expectations. Great value too. Thanks Rocky House!

The beds in our room were a bit worn and lumpy, that's the only suggestion to change :)

Quiet position nr mountains in Dahab. Friendly vibe for travelers. There's a pool, & sometimes they put on a movie or do a BBQ. Very laid back. Two grocery shops (very reasonable), & a scuba hire shop nearby.

Nothing to do with the property, but taxi drivers assuming you need a lift. 50EGP (65p) will get you most places in this small seaside town.
