We loved our cosy bed and the cooked breakfast. Our hosts were very welcoming and kind and provided us with snacks and hot drinks.

The bathroom had a slight smell and some of the surfaces were a little grubby, but perfectly functional nonetheless!

Homely, great location, great selection of programs and movies to watch in the evening & morning. Sandy has a vast local knowledge for places worth visiting. Great location for exploring the south coast & Kilkenny area.

Proximity to road is a little bit noisy during busy times.

Cosy, comfortable & spotless room and ensuite. Offered water immediately upon arriving which we appreciated. We ended up arriving later than planned as we were delayed on our journey, and our late check-in was accommodated without complaint.

De douche, weinig waterdruk. Geen haakjes voor de handdoeken in de badkamer.

Sandy and James went out of their way to assist us and had a wealth of local knowledge. The room was comfortable and the breakfast superb, couldn't wish for more.

We had a really lovely stay! Our host was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating, especially with our arrival time. She showed us around when we arrived, explained everything clearly and talked us through options for breakfast the next morning. Both of our rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and had lovely bedding. There were lots of thoughtful extras too, including toiletries, if you had forgotten anything, cold bottled water available from the fridge, and plenty of options on the T. V. Breakfast was delicious, with a good selection to help yourself too. As well as a freshly cooked breakfast mate to order. Our host was also really helpful when we were leaving, giving us advice about our journey and the places we were visiting a really welcoming and comfortable stay - we would definitely stay again!

Not the hosts fault, but the B+B is located on a very busy road, so there is some road noise all the time. Great care is required entering and leaving the property.

Everything about my stay was perfect. The owner went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable in the lovely room provided add to that a great breakfast what more can you want.

I had a very pleasant stay at Carrigadaggen Lodge. Sandy was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived, making us feel genuinely appreciated as guests. The accommodation is not luxurious, but it is exceptionally clean and well maintained. You can tell that everything is prepared with care and that the hosts truly enjoy welcoming visitors. Every detail felt thoughtful, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. I only stayed here during the summer, in the front room, and I found it quite warm at night. If I left the window open, the noise from the nearby road was noticeable, but with the window closed, the room became a bit too hot for my comfort. Interestingly, my wife had no trouble sleeping and wasn’t bothered by either the temperature or the noise. Overall, we had a very good experience, and I would definitely recommend Carrigadaggen Lodge to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and well-cared-for place to stay.

Breakfast was nice. Had scrambled egg and toast, which were tasty. The bed was comfy and it was nice to have Netflix and other tv options.

There was a bit of a smell from the bathroom which went away when I ran the shower for a bit.

- Lage direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Starke Geräusche besonders nachts wenn vorbeifahrende Autos den Schlaf stören. - das Haus ist etwas hellhörig, Ausstattung und Einrichtung könnten etwas der aktuellen Zeit angepaßt werden - zum Frühstück wurde auf Verlangen irisches Frühstück gereicht, Selbstbedienung an einem separaten Tisch, die Auswahl war reichlich aber qualitativ nicht anspruchsvoll (abgepacktes Brot und diverse Kekssorten) Kaffee-Wasser mußte über einen Wasserkocher selbst aufgekocht werden. - unangenehme Gerüche, durch Aufstellung von Raumspray im Zimmer sollten diese wohl minimiert werden

Sandy gave us a great welcome, our room was very clean with view and good shower room. Good location, for Rosslare and touring Waterford /Wexford area. Easy to find and park off the main road. Hot breakfast on offer and selection of cereals and toast to help yourself to. Sandy recommended The Whitford House Hotel for dinner, it's a lively bistro with great service and food was excellent, definitely recommend it when staying at the lodge.

This is on the very busy N25 road and caution needed when entering and exiting the B&B. Some traffic noise if you prefer a window open at night.

Am fost placut surprins de ce am gasit aici. Camera si baia foarte curate si calduroase. Micul dejun foarte bun, iar personalul foarte amabil. Recomand cu incredere, in mod sigur o sa revin.

Sandra our host is a great people person she was warm, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, many options. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Sandra was very helpful in suggesting different dinner venues, but most were a fair drive away.

I’m a returning customer. Im on the road often and this place is excellently located between new ross and wexford. Host is very kind, the place is spotless and breakfast is very good. Bathroom is private. I really liked the place overall and I’m sure i’ll be back again.

First time i went was in winter and i didn’t notice but this time around, in august, the room was really hot. I turned off the heater and opened both windows. Nothing bad but it was really hot

It’s situated on the main road so traffic can be heard at all times of night and day. Nothing can be done about it, just get ear plugs.

Lovely and clean house in the country. Close to Waterford and Wexford and all the local attractions.

Book in 2 til 6 but no one there for over 25mins when i arrived. TV was complicated as not a linked system. I will say compared to others on course i was on more exoensive than hotel some just half a km away

Simple, clean, reasonably priced accomodation, nice and polite host.bed was comfortable and i had a good night's sleep.

Bathroom is one step up, you have to really watch coming out of it, i nearly fell..bathroom toiletries were only 'for men'..so women need to bring their own! I thought the breakfast was poor and not very fresh ,bread and cheese tasted stale..

We had a lovely contentinal breakfast with lots of choice of food. there was plenty of cereals, fruit, breads, pasteries, tea & coffee, soft drinks, juices, meats, cheese, crackers to choose from. It was delicious

Sandra, the host was so welcoming & friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay fabulous. The rooms were a great size with full size toiletries etc and tea/coffee facilities ... everything was exceptionally clean and the bed was so comfortable, I had the best night's sleep. Sandra was so amazing with one of our group who has additional needs and even gave him crisps, chocolate and drinks on our arrival.

The continental breakfast was the best I have ever seen anywhere, snd plenty of it ... exceptional choice and we were offered boiled or scrambled eggs but was a little disappointed that a "Full Irish" wasn't on offer as it's part of the B& B experience. Also the ad on Booking.com said that there were 3 beds in each room but it turned out that there were 3 rooms each with a double bed in it. There were no twin beds available so my friend ended up sharing a double bed with her son. We pointed this out to our host and this information has been changed on the listing. We were also offered a part refund because of this misunderstanding ... but we wouldn't accept it as our host was amazing and the quality/quantity of breakfast exceptional and we had a lovely stay.

This is a fantastic B&B. Stayed here with my teenage daughter for a fleadh competition. Made feel welcome from the minute we arrived. Definitely a home from home feel. Large selection for breakfast. Short drive to Wexford town. Would definitely return and highly recommend. Lovely genuine couple running it.

What a great find - this property was centrally located for our visit (to New Ross and Wexford) and our hosts Sandra and James were just fabulous. Lots of parking provided and the rooms were well decorated, comfortable, spacious and quiet, even with the N25 road nearby. And such a bonus to have hosts so knowledgable about the local area and all the attractions, including the Horse and Hound pub restaurant just around the corner for a few nice meals. A lovely stay all round and excellent value for money. Many Thanks!

The house is located in the middle of a green meadow, and the view from the living room is amazing. The host is also very friendly.

The property itself was beautiful; conveniently located between Waterford & Wexford which made it quite easy to get around to see the sights. The room was wonderful; bed was very comfortable and slept great; the continental breakfast was just right; all I can say is, this home and these proprietors will not disappoint.

There is nothing even remotely that I could say I didn’t like.

As a new listing finding the property was very difficult to find as the full address info was not provided by Booking.com. Had we been provided the full address, we would not have had such a difficult time locating the BB. The owners are still in the process of getting a sign up at the driveway, so on our visit it was not yet in place. A lovely couple though and very friendly and accommodating in every way.

In a week or two they should be up and running 100%, we just booked a couple days after there first listing day and surprised them before the last couple pieces of signage were in place.
