Good value as we did not need any facilities; only a good night’s sleep after several days of long drives. Very friendly. Clean and comfortable large room. We slept well. Safe private parking.

Shared bathroom, although that posed no problem in practice. No meal options. Distance from restaurants etc.

The host was an absolute gem! And place location is very handy- i had a flight from Dublin next morning.

Marie was a wonderful host! The home was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect spot to get a great night’s rest.The one room was also spacious enough for our family of 4.

You must keep in mind that there may be other guests or residents staying in the home, so you’ll want to be mindful and respectful of shared spaces, but overall it was a lovely and restful stay.

Obwohl das Haus an zwei Hauptstraßen liegt, war es in der Nacht bei zu gemachten Fenstern absolut ruhig. Wir konnten sehr gut schalfen. Für eine Nacht absolut passend. Badezimmer sehr groß und sehr sauber. Sehr freundliche Gastgäberin. Wir hatten das große Familieroom dort gibt es ein Doppelbett und einzelne Betten. Meine Freundin hat im Doppelbett geschlafen und ist sehr wählerisch bezüglich Matratzen, sie hat so gut wie noch nie geschalfen ,hat sie mir am nächsten Tag gesagt. Ich habe in einem einzel Bett auch sehr gut geschlafen. Im Grosen und Ganzen eine gute Möglichkeit zu übernachten wenn man auf der Durchreise ist für ein bis zwei Nächte. Cela n’était pas une surprise puisque clairement indiqué lors de la réservation, mais l’unique salle d’eau (avec un WC) partagée avec toutes les chambres peut être un peu contraignante en cas de forte affluence.

Marie was a lovely host and so accommodating. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Stephen was so helpful and even went out of his way to drop us to the drop off point for a concert at Slane castle.

Contacted here by phone spoke with Maires son was very helpful with information I needed before my arrival and got all information sent via email/booking.com message's. On arrival i was welcome by Marie felt like I was visiting a family member was so friendly and warm welcome from the host we chatted a bit before showing me around and then on to my room. Everything was so clean and updated, my single room was 5* with tv, tea & coffee with kettle and water filtered on site, comfortable bed all clean and ready on arrival appreciate the early arrival time. There is also parking on site, it was close to place I was working only 10mins by car to slane

Men geeft wat men belooft. Er was mogelijkheid tot TV, maar dat gebruik ik niet. Goede wifi. Hygiene en comfort waren perfect.

De ontvangst was wat onwennig. Je hebt geboekt, maar je wordt niet verwacht. Eén badkamer met WC, kan tegenvallen met meerdere gasten.

Die Inhaberin ist eine sehr feindliche und zuvorkommende Person. War richtig schön dort! Super Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis.

well. i would have liked to have a morning run or an evening walk but there were no pedestrian tracks around. i knew that before, so it is not a problem.

This is my second time here and it's absolutely beautiful the scenery and the people are so friendly the filling station near by they sell nearly every thing especially fram hen eggs and the people that work their especially Olĺie. But most of all the bedroom's are lovely and the bed is soft and very comfortable. There is lovely Spring Water and the lovely kind Lady because that's exactly what she is a Lady welcomes you and always there to help.

The main road is dangerous .

Marie e Stephen sono molto simpatici, gentili e disponibili, la camera piccola ma accogliente e calda, la disponibilità di acqua buonissima è stata molto apprezzata, così come la possibilità di usufruire della loro cucina per farmi qualche pasto caldo in assenza di luoghi vicini dove mangiare.

Mi sarebbe piaciuta maggiore pulizia nel bagno visto che è in comune.

Easy to find and very spacious. Very clean and good bathroom facilities. We were there just for one night after the Boyne Valley Viking Experience which was at Slane Castle, very close and convenient.

We would have liked to have used the oven or microwave as we had food from our previous B&B which was self catering. Understand the reason why not, but we booked this as it was a whole house and nowhere said we couldn't. Small thing though. The rest was good.

The bed was incredibly comfortable. And the lady who showed us the place was lovely

​Logement agréable. Il s'agit d'une grande maison partagée avec l'hôte et comprenant 3 chambres Nous avions pris une chambre avec un lit double et un lit simple. L'espace était très bien pour nous 3. La literie était bonne. Tout était propre. Attention salle de bain commune et pas de petit déjeuner. Cela ne nous a pas dérangés mais il peut être utile de le savoir. La voiture peut-être garée devant le logement. Nous avons été accueilli par l'hôte qui a été charmant Bon réseau wifi

Extremely good location (right off the N2, easy to get to from the airport, close to Newgrange), very clean, truly excellent value.

This isn't a negative so much as a note to other travellers to make sure you read the description, as this is a bit more bare-bones than some other guesthouses you may be staying in. E.g., the bathroom is shared with up to six other guests, and there's no breakfast. (I gather the proprietor is quite frustrated that people don't read the description, which is extremely understandable! Read the description!)

Exactly as advertised. Nice size room, clean and warm. Host was lovely. Had some nice chats with her before leaving each day and on leaving. Location is good for Dublin, Slane Castle, Newgrange and Battle of the Boyne exhibition plus others. Recommend. 👍

Mary es una anfitriona encantadora con muchas ganas de hablar! La habitación limpia.

El baño no estaba tan limpio, además creo que era compartido ya que estaba fuera de la habitación y había varias personas mas en las demás habitaciones. La presión del agua tampoco estaba fuerte lo que nos impidió poder lavarnos el pelo. Había un ruido blanco de fondo en el silencio y no pudimos dormir del todo bien. La temperatura regular también, aunque teníamos buen edredón!

La casa era condivisa con altri ospiti e il proprietario, c’era soltanto un bagno in comune per un totale di 7 persone, la cucina non era utilizzabile a parte il microonde, ma la proprietaria ci ha comunque lasciato cucinare un piatto di pasta per i bambini. Inoltre ci è stato detto di fare silenzio (i bambini stavano parlando con un tono di voce normale) perché gli altri ospiti volevano dormire alle 21:00 di venerdì sera. Tutte queste condizioni non erano specificate nell’annuncio né nei messaggi inviati dal proprietario. Se ne fossimo stati a conoscenza prima non avremmo scelto questa struttura.

Lovely house in an east to find location. The hostess who answered the door was friendly and helpful.

The bed was a twin bed which meant it was a bit too short for me (I'm 180cm tall).

We loved the house, the place is gorgeous and easy to find. The room was beautifully decorated, perfectly clean and equipped with all the amenities we could wish for. The sheets and towels smelled very nice and there were even thoughtful touches like earplugs and some courtesy drinks! Our host was the most lovely lady ever, she was very nice to us in every moment, and attentive to everything we needed. We just were there for one night but we would have stayed for the whole month! We highly recommend this place! We'll come back for sure :)
