Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Ens ha encantat l’experiència de dormir en una cúpula transparent. L’atenció de la Marianne ha sigut impecable. Vam encendre la llar de foc a l’agost i vam estar la mar de bé relaxant-nos amb aquestes vistes.
Hauríem preferit tenir el bany dins l’habitació.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026The hosts are truly wonderful people, incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. The location is absolutely fantastic, and the accommodation is beautiful, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The water deserves a special mention. It is amazing! Taking a shower here feels like having your own private spa experience. Everything was simply perfect from beginning to end. It’s a shame Booking.com only allows 5 stars, because if I could, I would give this place at least 100 stars! We absolutely loved our stay and would happily come back again. Highly recommended! ❤️

No Wifi, no real access to the kitchen (where there was no electricity, so gas improvised, no fridge in the kitchen and no dishwasher) but a small fridge in the dome. Toilet and shower next to the kitchen, 30m away. We had asked for no pork in the breakfast 'basket' that was put in the fridge, but there was still pork there.

Attention, il faut passer par l'extérieur pour accéder à la salle de douche et la cuisine qui ne sont pas juste à côté du dôme. Le dôme est en plexiglas avec ses avantages (la vue) et ses inconvénients (froid la nuit, chaud le jour, rideaux d'une utilité limitée).

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Wat een bijzonder verblijf, de dome is prachtig. Wij hebben 2 dagen minder weer gehad, maar met de houtkachel (hout was zo te pakken) maakte het niet uit. Kachel aan en genieten van het prachtige uitzicht. Veel privacy en heel vriendelijke gastvrouw.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Wij hebben 2 dagen rminder goed weer gehad, maar de locatie maakte dit ruimschoots goed. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Voldoende ontbijt producten. Heel schoon en bijzondere accommodatie 👌
Misschien zou een waterkoker in de dome fijn zijn. Er staat een thermoskan, die je in het keukentje kunt vullen met gekookt water. Maar bij regen moet je dan wel eerst naar de keuken en dus naar buiten. Verder geen op of aanmerkingen

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026Incredible views over the fjord from both inside the dome and the decking, very peaceful location. Marianne was a wonderful host who clearly puts so much thought and care into ensuring guests have a great stay. We felt very welcomed and it was a perfect way to end our trip in Lofoten Islands. Highly recommend staying here.

Reviewed Jun 12, 2026Aussergewoehliche Lage direkt am Fjord, grandiose Aussicht (auch durch die Plexiglaskuppel), sehr herzlicher und persoenlicher Empfang. Einrichtung mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Als wir abends gemuetlich draussen am Feuer sassen, hat uns die Besitzerin hausgemachte, super leckere Zimtschnecken (Kanelsnurrer) vorbeigebracht! Hier nochmals herzlichen Dank dafuer!

Die Gastgeber Marianne und Freddie sind sehr freundlich und herzlich und ihnen war zu jeder Sekunde anzumerken, dass sie gerne und jederzeit für ihre Gäste da sind. Auch beim Abschied nahmen sich die beiden ausreichend Zeit. Die Hauskatze hat übrigens auch eine positive Erwähnung verdient ;) Die Übernachtung im Dome war eine außergewöhnliche und unvergessliche Erfahrung. Sehr gemütliche, moderne Einrichtung, Blick aufs Fjord. wir kommen wieder - spät. dann, wenn wir die Polarlichter bestaunen wollen

Letto comodissimo, ci sono due poltrone e un tavolino all’interno dove poter mangiare oltre che un frigo, bollitore/macchina del caffè. In estate fa caldo, ma tra le finestre e il ventilatore si riesce ad areare la stanza. Rimane comunque l’idea del campeggio: la cucina e i bagni sono distanti 30mt dalla cupola. Proprietari molto gentili, disponibili e accoglienti!(: Silenzio, natura e relax assicurati!

Reviewed May 2, 2026L’expérience à vivre est unique. Les services à l’intérieur de la bulle ont été au-delà de mes attentes. Il y fait chaud, grâce au poêle que l’on peut alimenter par les bûches mises à disposition. La bulle est également très propre, point non négligeable. Les hôtes, Marianne et Freddie, ont à cœur que le séjour se passe très bien. Ils nous ont accueilli comme des amis et nous ont donné leur œufs frais du poulailler du jardin pour notre petit-déjeuner, pour le plus grand plaisir de mon copain. L’eau est exceptionnellement bonne - moi qui ne bois que de l’eau, ce fut un réel plaisir. C’est également cette même eau dans la douche, extrêmement agréable pour les peaux sensibles. Je recommande sans hésiter. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. Tout était parfait.

A anfitriã é extremamente atenciosa e prestativa; estava lá para nos receber pessoalmente, passou todas as instruções e cuidou de cada detalhe para que tudo fosse perfeito. O café da manhã maravilhoso e organizado com tanto carinho foi a cereja do bolo. Se você busca algo único em Lofoten, é aqui!"

Wir hatten den Dome ohne WC und leider gab es in der Nacht unseres Aufenthaltes viel Schnee und stürmisches Wetter, so dass der Weg zum WC etwas unangenehm war. Alles andere war einfach nur wundervoll und perfekt.

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026Entorno idílico a pie de fiordo. Vistas espectaculares. El glamping dome está muy limpio y con muchos detalles que hacen la estancia más cómoda. La anfitriona fue muy atenta en todo momento. Uno de los alojamientos con mejores vistas donde hemos estado. Buena calefacción en todas las estancias.
Me gustó todo. Solo hay que ser consciente de que el baño y la cocina están aparte.

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026Soggiorno fantastico, il Dome è bellissimo, Marianne è davvero super accogliente, gentile ed in grado di soddisfare tutte le richieste. Abbiamo visto un Aurora Boreale stupenda e la mattina ci siamo svegliati con la Neve! Veramente Top!! Speriamo davvero di poterci ritornare!!! Unica cosa vicino non ci sono ristoranti, quindi attrezzatevi con il cibo! Poi li avete una cucina attrezzata. Consigliatissimo!

Imaginem uma cúpula situada no alto de um fiorde, com uma vista maravilhosa de 360°, decorada de maneira luxuosa e aconchegante, com lareira de madeira acesa, cama muito confortável, iluminação romântica e sofás posicionados para desfrutar da vista deslumbrante. A casa de banho fica a cerca de 50 passos da cúpula. Os proprietários, são os melhores anfitriões que jamais conhecemos, fazendo tudo para que nos sentíssemos confortáveis, desde os mais pequenos detalhes até ao excelente e variado pequeno-almoço, tornando a nossa experiência a mais agradável possível. Este é, sem dúvida, o local perfeito para relaxar e cuidar do corpo e da mente, no meio da natureza, deliciando-se com água pura da montanha, ovos frescos das galinhas dos anfitriões e adormecendo tranquilamente sob a aurora boreal. Obrigado, Marianne e Freddie 🥰

Reviewed Mar 9, 2026Origineller, sehr sauberer und gemütlich eingerichteter Dome. Die Lage ist abseits, dafür sehr ruhig und schöne Aussicht. Super und vielfältiges Frühstück sowie sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Der Weg zu WC und Küche (Treppe und ca. 20m Gehweg) ist je nach Witterung nicht so optimal.

What you need to know is, that the last shop to buy some eatable or drinkable you‘ll find only at 25 (from south) or 35 km (from north) distance.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Fantastisk oplevelse i domen langt væk fra alting med meget smuk udsigt. Der er tænkt på alt, lige fra højtaler, lille køleskab og andre fornødenheder i domen. Luksus på højeste niveau. Meget søde værter, der imødekom ønske om glutenfri morgenmad, der stod klar i køleskabet. Kan bestemt anbefales - den mest luksuriøse glampingoplevelse vi har haft til dato.
Mindre detalje - men der er endnu ikke tilsluttet strøm i køkkenet, så ovn, køleskab og vaskemaskine kan ikke benyttes. Der står et gasblus, som kan bruges. Vi havde heldigvis ikke planlagt at bruge ovnen, men det skal man lige være opmærksom på.

The temperature was unusually high during our stay which made the dome quite hot past 7am. Nobody’s fault there. The host is working on improvements to the facilities that will make a big difference; it would be nice to have wifi. Let us know when the jacuzzi is working ;)

Reviewed Jan 18, 2026Abbiamo scelto questa struttura per il nostro viaggio di nozze ed è stata un’esperienza che porteremo sempre con noi. La vista sui fiordi rendeva ogni momento speciale. Nonostante le temperature fossero molto rigide, ci siamo sentiti sempre a nostro agio grazie all’attenzione e alla gentilezza dei proprietari, premurosi e disponibili, capaci di trasmettere una vera sensazione di accoglienza. Addormentarci sotto l’aurora boreale e svegliarci con la vista sui fiordi è stato semplicemente magico. Due notti che resteranno tra i ricordi più belli del nostro viaggio di nozze.

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026Esperienza meravigliosa in questa struttura immersa nella natura. Tutto è stato assolutamente eccellente e curato nei minimi dettagli. Siamo stati davvero coccolati dai proprietari, una coppia simpatica e molto cordiale. Gentilissimi dall’inizio alla fine del soggiorno, ci hanno aiutato moltissimo anche con l’organizzazione del proseguimento del viaggio, visto che la tempesta di neve in corso al momento della partenza rischiava di farci saltare alcune tappe previste. Peccato non aver visto l’aurora boreale… ma sarà solo un buon motivo per tornare!

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025Die Gastgeber war waren außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. So würden wir während der Anreise über die Wetter und Straßenbedingungen informiert und Hilfe angeboten für die Zufahrt von der Hauptstrasse zum Dome. Dort angekommen war bereits der Holzofen angeheizt, genügend Brennholz vorbereitet und der Dome wohlig warm. Eine zusätzliche Klimaanlage sorgt auch in der Nacht für Wärme wenn der Ofen einmal ausgeht. Küche, Dusche und WC befinden sich ca. 50 Schritte vom Dome entfernt. Der Dome selbst ist mit Microwelle, Kühlschrank inklusive Frühstück, Wasserköcher, Kaffeemaschine perfekt ausgestattet. Insgesamt wirk die Einrichtung luxuriös und sehr romantisch. Zum Glück gab es auch in dieser Nacht sehr schöne Polarlichter und wurden durch die Eigentümer per SMS davon informiert. Das alles zu einem sehr vernünftigen Preis.

Reviewed Dec 13, 2025What a spot this is! The dome is beyond cosy and luxe, with incredible views amongst the mountains. We had great luck seeing the northern lights on both nights of our stay, which can be enjoyed from the patio or from right inside the dome. Marianne and Freddie were lovely and very accomodating, even leaving us fresh eggs from their chickens for breakfast! This stay was worth every penny.

Reviewed Dec 10, 2025Very friendly host (Marianne) who is willing to help. As the entry to the site was down and up hill covered with snow and ice, the host helped to navigate my way to the parking spot. Free parking space just next to the dome. It is a glass-like (not glass, PC I guess) surfaced igloo style dome with a very sturdy structure. Big and very very comfy bed with good beddings inside the dome. Fridge and blutooth speakers. Big sofas. Very nice wood fire stove that gave out enough heat through out the chilly night. Pity the weather stayed very cloudy throughout the night, no aurora sightings available. The view from the room is breathtaking in the morning. The host provided bread, spreads, coffee, yogurt, ham, cheese, and some fruit for breakfast.
Bathroom and toilet, kitchen is about 30m away from the dome itself. Using the kitchen was no trouble and we thought it is better to prepare dinner (if you are frying and roasting) well away from the bedroom. Using bathroom could be troublesome if the weather is cold or raining. The whole site is still under construction. They are building a new dome nearby.

Reviewed Dec 7, 2025Wir wurden sehr freundlich von den Besitzern empfangen. Uns wurde alles erklärt. Man konnte sofort sehen dass alles mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet war. Wir hatten ein extra Container als Küche u ein als Bad. Beides aber sehr schön. Zum Frühstück gab es Brötchen, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Joghurt, Obst. Wir haben super gut in dem Bett geschlafen. In den 2 Nächten in denen wir dort waren konnten wir die Polarlichter sehen. Sie waren stark u fast über unserem Glampingdome. Die Besitzer kamen sogar um sicherzustellen dass wir sie sehn. Es war unser absolutes Highlight vom Urlaub u eine wunderschöne Erinnerung. Sehr zu empfehlen

Reviewed Nov 27, 2025Eine atemberaubende Lage mit tollem Blick auf den Schifffahrtsweg und dem Hurtigrutenschiff. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Ein atemberaubendes Zimmer mit Meerblick und der erstklassige Service von Marianne und Freddie machten unseren Urlaub zu einem wahrgewordenen Traum. Marianne und Freddie taten wirklich alles und ihr Möglichstes, um unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Die warmherzige Atmosphäre vor Ort und vielerlei Bemühungen von den Gastgebern gaben uns das Gefühl sich wie zuhause zu fühlen und versüßten unseres gesamten Aufenthalts ganz besonders. Die gessmte Ausstattung des Glamping Domes ist Stilvoll und gemütlich! Zwischen Lammfellen, Kerzen und dem großen Kamin war immer eine Hauch von Eleganz. Man merkt förmlich wie wichtig Marianne und Freddie ihre Gäste sind💕 Und natürlich wurden wir sanft geweckt um die Polarlichter nicht zu verpassen… Selbst beim Abschied nahmen sich Marianne und Freddie eine Menge Zeit und erzählten uns tolle Geschichten über Norwegen und den Lofoten. Reviewed Nov 9, 2025De dome is heel mooi en je hebt een super uitzicht over het water. Je moet een beetje mazzel met het weer hebben uiteraard. Rustige locatie en vriendelijk eigenaar.
Je moet een klein stukje lopen voor wc, douche en keuken. Maar prima te doen. Als je 's nachts naar de wc wil is het wel even vervelend uiteraard.

Reviewed Oct 25, 2025Where to begin… the breakfast was amazing, the bed was very comfortable, we had everything we needed. The hosts are incredibly attentive and make you feel right at home. They have created a truly incredible experience and we cannot wait to come back. We were lucky to see the northern lights and nothing can beat sitting by a cozy fire with very comfortable and warm slippers (provided) and talking and reading. There is no wifi, but embrace it. This is a very great thing and makes the glamping experience even better. We will definitely be coming back to stay again.

We didn't see the northern lights due to bad weather, which was the main reason for staying there. The bed and down duvets were to die for - absolutely gorgeous! Having a fireplace with plenty of dry wood was a real treat and added to the cozy atmosphere. Take all your food because there are no shops/restaurants nearby.
Be aware that this is - and is advertised as - glamping. The toilet and cooking facility is a 50m walk (for us, in the rain) from the dome. There is no WiFi or TV, which would have been nice to have.

Reviewed Oct 3, 2025Location couldn’t be better! It is private and peaceful - a very special place overlooking a fjord. Hosts, Marianne and Freddie, are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast included fresh eggs from their own chickens. We enjoyed visits from their beautiful, friendly and LARGE cat. On a clear night it’s a perfect setting, away from city lights, to see northern lights - cuddled up in the cozy dome or in blankets on the deck.
Liked everything about it. Some may not like going outside, walking up steps to get to the washroom, but we considered it part of the glamping experience.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2025Everything! Beautiful setting, cozy dome and site had everything you could want! The deck area overlooks the fjord and is so quiet and peaceful. The bathroom is set a few steps away but that is all part of the place…the shower was great! Plenty of hot water from the spring…. The kitchen was well equipped and there was also a microwave in the dome along with a fridge. Excellent quality breakfast! We left our suitcases in the car and just took what we needed into the dome which worked well….we didn’t want to spoil the ambiance with our clutter! Very friendly hosts, lovely to chat to. It does make sense to take food with you….once there you won’t want to leave to shop…… The owners plan more for the site- can’t wait to see how it develops….
We had such a relaxing time there was nothing we didn’t like!

Reviewed Aug 23, 2025The views of the fjord are unmatched. The dome is very cozy and warm and we really enjoyed having a small fire pit inside. The host is very welcoming.
The bathroom and kitchenette are a bit far from the dome.
