Magnifique grand appartement joliment décoré et très confortable. On s'y sent comme à la maison. La terrasse avec vue sur le jardin est agréable. La situation dans le centre de Leeuwarden est excellente. La communication avec Marijke est efficace.

L'appartement est plus pratique pour deux, la petite chambre est moins confortable et il faut passer dans la grande chambre pour accéder à la toilette. Il manque quelques ustensiles de cuisine.

From the very beginning of first walking through the door you're made feel at home by Marijke and Hein they are so welcoming and the apartment is simply Breathtaking.. Such interesting items and art decorate this fine open space with a little bench on the decking overlooking a beautiful garden and pond.. Wonderful, unique place to stay. Very close to the centre of Leeuwarden, but so quiet and peaceful.

Wunderschöne, sehr kreativ und künstlerisch eingerichtete Unterkunft mit viel Platz. Die Lage ist perfekt – super nah am Zentrum, Cafés und Restaurants direkt um die Ecke. Auto einfach stehen lassen und alles bequem zu Fuß erkunden. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ein liebevoll gestaltetes, außergewöhnliches und sehr geräumiges Appartement. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Schlüsselübergabe war super unkompliziert, die Gastgeber äußerst hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Die Lage des Appartements in zentraler Lage ist hervorragend. Sehr kurze Wege zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten, zur Gastronomie und vielen Geschäften.

Sehr zentrale Lage. Tolle freundliche Vermieter. Außergewöhnlich und gemütlich eingerichtet. Sehr groß. Alles vorhanden.

Very good location. Close to the center of Leeuwaarden, in a quiet area. Very helpful host.

One had to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the toilet, but that was not a major problem.

Het is een prachtig appartement midden in het centrum van Leeuwarden.

Prachtig, ruim en origineel ingericht appartement met een ruim balkon (en een tuin waar wij geen gebruik van hebben gemaakt vanwege het seizoen). Voorzien van alle (technische) gemakken. Veel kunst aan de muur en mooie displays gaven het appartement een fijne sfeer. Een plek waar je je meteen thuis voelt.

Home away from home. 120m2 area. Terras. Living room, sofa, TV. Bedroom (huge) Games ( backgammon) kitchen (wow). Everything there. And Marijke and Hein are amazing.

We had to leave.

From the moment you step foot in this apartment you can feel the homely ambience in the air, Marijke is an exceptional host who is easy to contact if needed. The beds were very comfortable and the lay out of the apartment is really nice.. 5 stars for everything it would be a pleasure to stay here again as its so central to everything

Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Super nette Vermieter und eine wirklich tolle Lage zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und gastronomischen Angeboten. Viele tolle Läden sind ebenfalls in unmittelbarer nähen. Alles fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen. Das Auto wir hier überflüssig. Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten nur 250 m von der Wohnung entfernt.

Das der Urlaub so schnell zu Ende war. Die Freude auf ein nächstes mal ist aber um so größer.

Lovely apartment right in the centre of town. Spacious, especially the main living space which is huge and very peaceful with a view of the garden. Full kitchen with plenty of supplies and equipment. Very friendly hosts, but still discrete and not intrusive - they live in the adjacent property. Walkable from the train station, with a small supermarket en-route and a very large one also within walking distance.

It's in the centre of the old part of town and in an old wooden-framed building, so you can expect some amount of noise from the street (mentioned in other reviews), but nothing too serious though and I would definitely stay again. A washing machine is listed in booking.com's description but is no longer available ; again, not a big deal unless you're staying for a long trip.

It was really lovely to sit here on the terrace and simply enjoy everything — such a beautiful experience. The owners are incredibly kind and easy to reach. The apartment had everything we needed; nothing was missing. The location is very central, with cafés, restaurants, and shopping options just around the corner. We felt completely at home from the very first moment. We would definitely love to come back and can highly recommend this place to others.

It was an amazing experience staying at this place. It is nicely located in the city centre, very covenient to resturants, cafes, supermarkets. The apartment is big, and equiped with all useful utilities. The balcony and the garden is very cozy.

The flat is in the old town. Everything is basically within walking distance. The street is pretty quiet too. The flat has its soul. Havent seen so many artworks in one place. The host is also very nice and friendly. We will return to this place.

Self-checkin would be highly recommended. More convenient for host and the guests.
