Fun atmosphere

De mis lugares favoritos para hospedarme. El lugar es amplio, la habitación era grande (4 personas), me encanta que hacen actividades a diario y puedes interactuar con muchas personas, la vibra del lugar es muy agradable. Sugiero tomar la opción con desayuno, es muy bueno. Está a unos 20 caminando del Duomo. y unos 15 de la Stazione de Firenze. El tram también esta cerca y hay un estacionamiento de bicis en frente del hostal.

Per mia sfortuna nei 3 giorni di permanenza non è stato possibile riposare, casino, chiacchiericcio e alcol a qualsiasi orario.

Great people, facilities, and vibes. Staff is kind and smiley. I went to Florence for job reasons, so I needed to sleep soon :) but for whoever is on holidays or just wants to meet new people and have fun, they organise several activities like karaoke, cooking class etc. In the room, privacy is respected with a curtain that "closes" you in your bed place, there is a big locker in the room (you just need your own 🔒) and also a smaller digital one. There is also the possibility to use a big locker after checkout (or before check-in) with a couple of euros. Breakfast was very big and tasty! There are 3/4 salted options and a sweet one. The sweet one included waffles, yogurt, muesli, fruit and always fruit juice and coffee included! Cozy place!

Breakfast was very big and great, but unfortunately I noticed many trails with wasted food. Considering that someone may not need a big size breakfast, I suggest providing the plates options like small and medium (current) size for smaller portions; and making it clearly possible to just get a brioche and drink -and also another different salty option for example toast- Let's fight food waste together! In addition, I suggest adding/providing a carpet/towel for the bathroom floor.

La ducha de la habitacion, cuando la utilizabas se inundaba el piso, por ende casi siempre (solo cuando limpiaban la habitacion) estaba el piso inundado del baño. No era muy comodo

L’ambiance et la convivialité particulièrement ! Pouvoir se poser au bord de la piscine en fin de journée c’était vraiment un plus. Sans parler des pâtes gratuites le soir, vraiment c’était top

C’est vrai qu’il faut marcher un peu pour aller en centre ville mais rien de catastrophique. Juste les lavomatiques sont un peu chers

El personal muy amable, la limpieza y lo bien pensado que está todo.

Como son la mayoría de los huéspedes muy jóvenes, a veces resultan un poco mal educados.

Awesome place to meet new people, totally changes the experience of the visit. Highly recommending for social folks!

Хостел классный, новый, современный, чистый и удачно расположен! Вроде вдали от центра, но удобно дойти пешком до центра за 25-30 мин. Также рядом остановка трамвая, удобно на нем и в центр и в аэропорт и на вокзал. Персонал приветливый. По вечерам готовят бесплатно пасту. Организовывают различные мероприятия и вечеринки. При этом все сделано грамотно, что ночью тихо. Душевая прямо в комнате, ходить никуда не надо. Если с соседями повезет, то все супер комфортно. И цена приятная)

The structure is fantastic! Staff are friendly, premises is nice and clean and they offer a lot of entertainments like Karaoke and theme parties.

Das Personal war super nett, die Leute alle sehr offen und kommunikativ. Wirklich gut, um Leute kennenzulernen. Die Betten haben Vorhänge. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, die Aufenthaltsbereiche sauber.

Der Pool wirkt größer auf den Bildern und war bei der Hitze oft überfüllt. Es gibt keine ausreichenden Schattenplätze. Die Küche ist eher spärlich eingerichtet. Prinzipiell sind die Aufenthaltsräume leider nicht so liebevoll gestaltet, wie ich es aus anderen Hostels kenne. Der größte Aufenthaltsbereich liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße. Die Zimmer sind durchschnittlich, die Getränke für ein Hostel sehr teuer. Prinzipiell finde ich das Hostel sehr teuer und würde mich voraussichtlich beim nächsten Mal für ein anderes entscheiden.

Petits déj sympas et restauration pratique. Musique chouette dans l'espace commun.

Located in a good area! Not too far from the touristy stuff if you enjoy walking. The staff were super friendly and helpful! The hostel is big and has a restaurant/bar. It was very clean and comfortable!

It was a bittttt noisy where I stayed because of the rooms location close to the reception but it got quiet after midnight.

Very social, downstairs area is great for mingling and the bar is great.

Very lively, nice people, cool atmosphere :) The tram stop to the city centre is 3 minutes away so the location is perfect - not in the centre but very easy and quick to get there.

La piscina

My stay at YellowSquare was almost perfect. (Looking for someone I met). I stayed there for 5 nights, and most of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—from the receptionists, to the kitchen staff, bartenders, cleaners, and of course, some of the people organising the activities. Unfortunately, I remember more faces than names. A couple of names I do remember are Johana and Eva (sorry if I’ve misspelled them 😬). So, why wasn’t it perfect? The only downside was that the entrance/garden area closed quite early, which also meant the table tennis area was no longer accessible. 🏓 It was one of my favourite spots after the swimming pool. I understand this is probably because it’s in a residential area, but I still wish it stayed open a little longer. Important note: be prepared to meet some truly incredible people. Who knows—you might meet the love of your life, or at least the love of your year or decade. Just don’t make the same mistake I did: if it feels safe and appropriate, ask for their name or contact details before it’s too late. Otherwise, you might spend the next 48 hours—or the rest of your life—wondering “what if”… just like me now. 🫠 And in case that person reads this: thank you for offering me your fruits 🍇 while we were having breakfast. The goodbye from a distance in the swimming pool didn’t feel like enough. Although, I’d understand if it felt like enough for you. Thank you, YellowSquare, for making my time in Florence even more memorable. I hope to be back one day.

El hostel es muy moderno y limpio. El personal muy amable y simpatico. Todos los días tenes actividades y ofrecen trago gratis de bienvenida y pasta de cena todas las noches. Las habitaciones limpias, modernas y comodas, las camas tienen privacidad con cortina, luz, estante y enchufe, además tenes una caja fuerte dentro de la cama y fuera un locker grande para guardar tus pertenecencias con candado (el candado lo tenes que llevar vos).

La ubicación no es la mejor pero tampoco esta mal. No me gustó que solo podes usar el área al aire libre hasta las 00:30 (desconozco si es por una normativa o algo similar o simplemente política del hostel) y la terraza con piscina cierra a las 22:00, me parecieron ambos horarios temprano por si queres quedarte en el hostel charlando o relajandote en la noche.

La calidez del personal

Me debitaron el valor de una noche antes de que me aloje, cuando me aloje tuve que pagar el total del alojamiento aún cuando ya me habían debitado el precio de una noche y aún no me han restituido el dinero y ya pasaron varios días

Pool is amazing!!!

Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber und entsprachen den Erwartungen. Abends ist immer etwas los und das Personal trug gut zur Stimmung bei.

Die Betten waren sehr ungemütlich. Das Blechgestell von den Stockbetten hat sehr laute Geräusche gemacht, wenn man eine Wand nur leicht berührt hat. Das ist auch regelmäßig in der Nacht passiert und hat den Schlaf gestört

La colazione era ottima, varia e conveniente rispetto a un bar. Non è in centro ma e ben collegata, con i mezzi di trasporto urbani, che secondo me è una cosa molto importante anche se si viaggia per lavoro.

Sinceramente io non ho trovato alcun tipo di difetti, stanza pulita, bagni curati non migliorerei nulla, piscina pulita personale cordiale tutto molto ben gestito ci tornerei sicuramente! Anche presso le loro altre strutture.

Camere belle spaziose, comode e pulite, personale gentilissimo. Buona colazione, cocktails assolutamente da provare.

Fantastic hostel! They have lots of events which a great. The tram is easy to take and you can pay with your card when you get on the tram. There is also a great community kitchen you can use.

One thing I wished I’d known is how to take the tram and which station to get off before I arrived. I tried walking with heavy luggage and got lost. It’s also bit loud with the music in the evenings which you could hear from your room.

Molto bello. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Adatto soprattutto per giovani e soste di pochi giorni.

- la piscine par forte chaleur est plus qu’appréciable - les équipements sont très biens - endroits pour laisser des bagages - la petite restauration

- les sanitaires sont vites sales, surtout dans les chambres. Le sol est inondé après chaque passage à la douche, ce n’est vraiment pas agréable. Puis, les gens passent avec des chaussures et ça fait des traces noires partout par terre. C’est dommage

1. Location

Everything was actually so good, the staff were so nice and the rooms were clean It was my first solo trip so thank you for making it easier.

I loved my stay here while visiting Florence. The staff at reception and restaurant were all very friendly and helpful, lending me an umbrella in the rain and providing maps and tips to get around. The free drink card was a nice bonus, as was the free pasta in the lobby every night. There were some fun activities organized every night. Despite there being a club in the basement, I did not feel like it was an overly party hostel with drunk guests causing issues for others. The rooftop pool was great to relax and cool off, away from the heat and busy touristy centre of Florence. The locker rental was also great, only 1 euro for the full day and able to go in and out of the locker all day without any extra costs.

The location away from the main tourist attractions was great for more quiet, but walking by the train station to get here at night felt unsafe at times, I would recommend taking the tram from Santa Maria Novella to the station that is right across the street from the hostel.

Location was perfect, at a walkable distance from the station. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were clean.

May be the bathrooms can be cleaned at least on alternate days.
