Non era presente il phon per capelli e reception presente poche ore. Le lenzuola avevano qualche macchia e qualche capello nelle coperte

Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Das im Preis inklusive Frühstück war grösser als erwartet. Das Gepäck konnte am Abreisetag noch dort deponiert werden. Das Frauen Zimmer war sehr gross und hatte sogar noch ein Sofa und ein Tisch drin.
Die Tür zum Zimmer konnte nicht verschlossen werden. Im reinen Frauen Zimmer gab es zudem 8 Betten aber nur 4 Schliessfächer, wobei eines davon kaputt war und nicht geschlossen werden konnte. Es waren überall Zettel befestigt, wie viel Geldstrafe man für falsches Verhalten bezahlen musste. So ging zum Beispiel in der Küche 3x Blatt, dass man einen bestimmten Betrag zahlen muss, wenn man die Küche nicht sauber hinterlässt. Auf dem Bett lag dann auch nochmals ein A4 Blatt mit allen Regeln.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Die Duschen waren sehr sauber und der Frauenschlafsaal auch sehr geräumig. Küche ist auch sehr groß und relativ gut ausgestattet.
Leider gab es im Zimmer selbst kaum Möglichkeiten die persönlichen Gegenstände gut zu verstauen.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026The location is great - just at the end of the main drag in Narvik. It was clean and there were enough showers / toilets. Breakfast was fine. It is useful to have some flip-flops as it is a no shoes hostel and a small lock for your cupboard.
There were signs everywhere threatening fines if you didn't wash up etc which felt over the top but as the hostel is run by volunteers perhaps they have less workers than commercially run accommodation.

Jag hade önskat att frukosten var ekologisk eller lokalproducerad. En läslampa vid sängen hade även varit trevligt. En kvarglömd mugg återfanns inte vid besök nummer två.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Good breakfast The entire hostel was spotlessly clean Nice atmosphere to the place which I think is helped by the edge of town centre location, a more central position may erode some of that.
It was good to have a curtain across the front of the bunk but, for most expensive hostel I have yet stayed in, it would have been nice to have had the shelf / night light / USB point that some hostels now have in the curtained bunkspace. Lots of children's drinks at breakfast (lemonade, cola etc.) but no healthy fruit juice ? And I saw large cartons (1.5 litres) for sale in local supermarkets so not as if unobtainable (but inconvenient for a solo traveller.) Sorry about the cost comment but i never got used to how expensive things are in Norway, perhaps no one does.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Lokalizacja obiektu w centrum Narviku, pieszo osiągalne ważne szczególnie dla Polaków Kriegsmuseum oraz Muzeum Narviku (Ofotmuseum), z widokiem na niezamarzający port przeładunkowy rudy żelaza ze szwedzkiej Kiruny. Niezłe śniadanie. Prezentację filmu Narvik by Light zaoferowano nam bezpłatnie.
Przy dość dużym reżimie sanitarnym i czystościowym w całym obiekcie zdziwił nas podczas śniadania zupełny brak jakichkolwiek serwetek!

There were lots of rules and threats sanctioning misbehavior with a fee. (such as leaving dishes unwashed) While I do share those goals, I don't think the facility needs to threaten clients in this way.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026La cuisine est bien équipée. Les douches et les toilettes sont propres. C'est très bien situé, et à bas prix.
Le petit déjeuner était assez mauvais, en tout cas pour des français qui souhaitent prendre un petit déjeuner sucré. Il n'y avait pas de savon pour les mains aux toilettes, ni de savon dans les douches. Il n'y a pas de cabine pour se déshabiller en privé avant la douche. La chambre familiale pour 3 personnes est très petite.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Overall for the money you pay it's good. Anyone who is used to sleeping in hostels will like it. After this stay i realized that i don't want to sleep in hostels anymore
It's not normal for the rules they give you when you check in to say that the place is very concerned about hygiene, and at the same time there are hairs in the sheets that they gave me to put on my bed myself. Also, the rules for leaving products in the refrigerator are excessive, we're not in the army, people. I think that if a person writes their name on the product it's enough, but to write a room, bed, etc. and say that they'll throw my things away if I don't do it is too much.

In de twee/driepersoons kamer nauwelijks staruimte laat staan lopen. Als je zonder rugpijn komt,ga je met rugpijn weg. Het matras was flinterdun en je voelde de lattenbodem. Lakens en handdoek waren netjes. Douche heb ik niet geprobeerd. Toiletten rommelig. Keuken wel goed uitgerust, maar hebben we niet gebruikt. Overal aanwijzingen met verboden. En de boete die dan te betalen is. LET op, ze vragen bij het inchecken nog een keer een afschrift van je credit card en dat kan gevaarlijk zijn. Achteraf kunnenze van alles op je verhalen. Ik zou dat niet nog een keer doen. Maar ja als je al betaald hebt,wat doe je dan?? Info staat nergens. Het personeel was extreem onvriendelijk.Geen aanrader. Zoek een andere hostel. Oh ja de WiFi was perfect, zeker in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Emplacement pratique facile à trouver sur la route principale, proche du terminus des bus de Narvik, petit jardinet avec tables exterieures. On a pu laisser non bagages sur place même après le check out pour pouvoir visiter Narvik.
Juste derrière la voix de chemin de fer donc plusieurs passages de trains bruyants, petit dejeuner minimaliste mais si buffet, jamais pu avoir de l'eau chaude pour mon thé.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026A very economic stay in Narvik, we enjoyed a lot the slideshow. We can confirm that Sjømannskirken take all measure to keep bugs our of the room and that we had a very good sta.
It‘s understood that for the value it‘s not possible to include a vast breakfast buffet. But in our case, being used to nordic breakfasts, we would have appreciated a note that it‘s a limited offering.
