Alles

All was fine

Bon accueil.

The staff was very nice even they dont speak any English. Ready to use translation. Always approached with a big smile 😊 They have 2 orange cat ,I love them both I hope the smaller one recovering soon 🙏❤️ Good, interesting morning market close by.

Have to improve a bit more of the room quality. Overall was okay for the price.

V restauraci dole se da dobre najist.

V pokoji nam chybel stul a zidle.

This is what it is - an average guesthouse, at one end of the town. It was ok cleanliness wise and had great Aircon. We had nice views of the river and monument and there are lots of eateries around, including the guesthouse itself. It is walkable into the main areas of town providing you can cope with the heat. The owner was always smiley and when we needed a tuk tuk to go to the bus station, he hoped on his scooter to go find one for us.

Bear in mind that grab hasn't made it to Kratie yet so you will need to use local tuktuks. We did see a few bugs in the room and because the Aircon unit isn't on an external wall we did have to empty the bucket of water regularly. They also keep a bird of prey outside - I'm no animal expert so don't know if it's kept well but it may not be everyone's cup of tea to see that.

Conveniently located Run by a very nice gentleman

It could do with a thorough cleaning, the bed sheets had holes in them and were stained. Hard bed. Not a comfortable sleeping experience They keep a very big bird (raptor) in a cage

Very central, good for a night or 2.

Old building, steep stairs. Its fine.

Clean and convenient for everything

Everything was great! Location, staff, breakfast and comfort.

It was a bit noisy but not much they can do about that.

Great place to stay in Kratié

Everything

We liked everything at this guesthouse. Big, clean, comfortable room. Restaurant downstairs. Low priced scooter rental & free bicycles to use. Quiet location but only a few minutes walk to town centre. Very friendly staff, especially the boss - Sohan. Good value for money!

Location was good as it was right near the river front. Facilities were fairly clean. We were able to rent a moped from the owner which was helpful.

There was, unfortunately, a loud music event happening right next to the guesthouse until about 11pm. This was obviously completely beyond their control but it might have been nice to pre warn us.

Well located with access to the markets .

Old building. Lots of stairs. Our room was somewhat clean the beds were clean but parts of the room somehow smell like sewers… There was a festival going on with very loud music until 11:00, to no fault of the owner who was very nice and helpful.

Great location, owner very friendly and helpful. Beautiful room very comfortable too. The restaurant provides very nice meals.

First night a bit noisy facing the road. But the next night was just fine.

Spacious, clean, friendly staff, large room, good beds and bedding good location

Large eagle locked in a cage made us sad

It was nice for the price

There appeared to be some mold on the ceiling.

I wasn't offered breakfast, was it included in price? Family business. Very little English but we understood each other eventually. Very helpful with ride to bus and to ferry.

Something weird with booking.com online platform. It said 1st room I booked wasn't available. I then booked a more expensive room and ended up with 2 rooms booked. It then sent email confirming hotel was in completely different province. I tried to explain to staff but this was just too complicated for them to understand.

Very friendly family run hotel. Great rooms, bathroom, beds, location, everything really! Would definitely stay again! Best breakfast in town! Many thanks.

Clean and has view

Excellent guesthouse in a lovely restored old building - the guesthouse is really close to a night street food market which is great for dinner. The rooms are very clean and have both fans and air conditioning. Overall it is the best guesthouse in Kratié - it is close to the river and market but a little outside the main city area which means it is very peaceful and more full of local life.

Large room and comfortable bed, good position close to the market. Friendly staff.

The room has to be cleaned better, many spiderwebs and ants everywhere. The sheets are very old and a little bit damaged.

Lovely room and friendly staff

Was a little bit further away from town than I’d realised but still walkable

Large nice room in a quiet part of town (some kids playing on the street in the evening and traffic during the day, but quiet at night). Only a few minutes walk from the center and 15 minutes walk to the tourist restaurants along the Mekong. Friendly owner. He doesn't speak English but you can use Google translate to communicate. Breakfast not included but can be taken in the Cafe downstairs. Only Cambodian choices though. A western choice like eggs and toast would have been nice.

One of the twin bed had clean bed sheet. The other one had sheets that looked dirty and moldy as if nobody had slept in that bed in a long time and they had forgotten to check the sheets and change them. I only needed 1 bed so it was not really a problem, but it could have been if more people had stayed in the room. Small ants in the room migrating towards the garbage bin. They did not go on the bed, nor in the cupboard where I put my luggage. Perhaps a daily garbage bin cleaning could help with the problem.

Big room, 2 double beds, table, night table, a closet, bathrooms a bit smaller than other places, standart cambodian 1 bath towel for 2 pepole, kettle but no cups or tea pots to use. A/c worked. Had a nice view.

To have cofee cups and tea pot for the kettle

The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The room has air conditioning. Although the host did not speak much English, he was incredibly helpful and arranged a really good tuktuk driver for me. You can rent a scooter here and they also let you use a bicycle for free. There are lots of restaurants nearby and the host helps arrange transport to the next destination at very reasonable prices.

Sometimes there was a sewerage smell from the sink and I couldn't get the hot water to work

it was clean, quiet and the owner was very nice. the market is very close.

- Good WiFi was in my room. Booking.com says there is no WiFi at this hotel. - Quiet air conditioning - Comfortable double bed 2 m long - Friendly - Helpful - They gave me an old bike for free for 2 days. - Restaurant with lots of locals But I didn't eat there. - Close to the river - The hotel had booked the dolphin tour and the minivan to the next town for me. The minivan picked me up at the hotel.

- Not quiet All rooms face the noisy street. There are holes in the wall for ventilation. This means you hear everything from the street. - Hotel is far from center, other restaurants, bars, shops, mini market, ATM. You need to take a tuk tuk or rent a bike or scooter. - Only one young helpful gentleman speaks English, the other employees don't. - Hotel is obviously a bit older.

Friendly owner

The owner is very sweet and the room was clean and cozy. Beds are confortable and the location is good. Highly recommended!

Good value for money. Friendly staff. One young man spoke just a little bit of English.

Cleanliness of the room was ok. At night we heard some sounds like there might be critters between the walls, but we didn’t see anything in the room so it didn’t bother us.

Nice clean guest house. Friendly staff who picked us up from the night bus drop off point at 2am. Really good quality Khmer breakfast with a decent cappuccino.

Steep stairs could be an issue for some people. Plus the thin curtains were little use for the morning sun

Rooms were OK 👍 air con and fan.. bed bit hard but hey Asia. If your not good with stairs avoid top floor. Overall ok the money

No kettle tea coffee facilities or TV...but not a biggy
