Korte rit met gondel naar boven, prachtig uitzicht. Allervriendelijkst ontvangst door Gaby, heerlijke avondeten van Andy, ontbijt, direct vanuit huis bergwandeling. Rust. Heel fijn.

Sensationelle Lage und Anreise per Luftseilbahn in eine Autofreie Zone auf dem Berg. Liebevoll restauriertes Berghotel und super-freundliche Gastgeber. Sehr gute Gastronomie.

Tolle Lage, sehr gutes Mittag- und Abendessen. Wir mögen die Fusion-kitchen (CH und Englisch). Die Zimmer sind toll eingerichtet und wir mögen die festen Matratzen.

Die Kaffeemaschine war nur mittelmässig. Mittlerweile gibt es SAC-Hütten, die sehr gute Siebträgermaschinen haben (zB Lidernenhütte und Rugghubelhütte). Da müsste doch ein Berggasthaus mit Gondelanbindung und Anspruch auf hochwertige Küche es auch schaffen, eine gute Kaffeemaschine hinzustellen ;-) Und es gab leider weder gutes Vollkornbrot noch Haferflocken zum Frühstück.

Superbe hôtel avec personnels très gentils. Une vue incroyable depuis la chambre et la terrasse de l'hôtel. Énormément de possibilités de randonnées. Petit déjeuner avec produits de qualité et locaux. Dîné de qualité également, un peu cher. Mais bon

Attention. Il faut obligatoirement prendre le téléphérique pour y accéder qui est assez pentu. (Un peu plus de 7 mn) Si vous avez peur du vide... De plus, il faut compter une vingtaine d'euros par adulte pour l'aller retour. (Possible de redescendre à pied mais il faut 2h30) Et le parking est aussi payant.

Andy and Gaby have created something really special here. We loved our stay. Immaculately clean, so comfortable and quiet. Amazing food, friendly helpful staff and such a unique location we won’t forget.

Die Gastgeber sind super..! Man fühlt sich von anfang an richtig wohl! Ein wunderschönes Berggasthaus, dass mit viel Liebe eingerichtet ist. Das Essen war sehr lecker, sowie die Getranke! Vielen Dank für alles 😊

Ein sehr schön renoviertes Berggasthaus mit einer grandiosen Aussicht. Das Zimmer im Dachstock war sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Auch das Bad mit dem Dachfenster war ein Highlight. Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für uns ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt.

Wunderschöne Lage, Frühstück in Ordnung.

Totally unique. 1,450 up the mountain, right in the cradle of the mountains, reached only by 5 min cable car. Sensational views, unfussy but, delicious food, best ever post supper sunset stroll.

Sehr herzlich eingerichtet. Alt und Modern treffen sich. Man gühlt sich einfach innert kurzer Zeit sehr wohl! Sehr aufmerksam!

At times the staff were terse.

L’emplacement juste incroyable avec une vue à couper le souffle. L’accueil de la propriétaire et le service et le confort des chambres. Sans oublier le bon petit déjeuner.

Leider nur geteiltes Bad bei unserem Zimmer, war aber deklariert.

Wunderschön gelegen und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Wandertouren. Feines Essen und ein sehr leckeres Frühstück. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

On y mange très bien, l’endroit est très calme, la vue magnifique, le logement récemment rénové, l’accueil chaleureux.

Les oreillers ne sont pas très confortables.

Très bel établissement décoré avec goût. Notre chambre était propre, cosy, bien équipée et orientée vers les montagnes. 🤩 La personnel était adorable et la cuisine excellente. De très jolies randonnées avec balisages sont proposées à quelques pas de l'hôtel. De plus, d'accès en télécabine est originale et participe au charme de cette escapade.

Our stay was just perfect, made even more special by a truly unforgettable moment: my partner proposed to me that morning during a hike in Stoss, just 25 minutes away from the property. Gaby and Andy made everything even more magical — they kindly helped my partner organize the surprise, preparing a welcome drink and beautiful flowers waiting for us in the room. It was such a thoughtful touch. The view was absolutely surreal, with windows directly facing the mountains — simply breathtaking. The dinner was also amazing, completing an already perfect experience. We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable stay!

Probably not possible there but would have loved air conditioning in the room. It was very warm. Not complaining!

Locatie hoog in bergen is prachtig. Het sneeuwde bij aankomst. We werden direct hartelijk ontvangen en konden met onze hond plaatsnemen in het restaurant. Het eten en de bediening waren voortreffelijk.

Vista mozzafiato (nonostante il prezzo della cabinovia, a parte uno sconto, è da pagare a parte). Camera piccola ma confortevole con bagno moderno e doccia ampia. Colazione eccellente con prodotti a km 0 o quasi e possibilità di cena sia con proposte locali (svizzera) che cucina estera (uk).

Nulla. Includere il prezzo della cabinovia nel pernottamento sarebbe top!

This is a gorgeous hotel up in the mountains and only accessible by cable car which just makes it more of an adventure. Our room was lovely cosy and we had a fabulous meal in the hotel restaurant. The only thing we missed was the view and only because the clouds scuppered what should have a been a fabulous vista. We felt incredibly well looked after and wish we could have stayed longer.

Dieses kleine Hotel wurde von den Gastgebern mit viel Herz und Liebe aufgebaut und das merkt man in jedem Detail: Von den Zimmerbeschriftungen bis hin zum super Essen. Perfekt für eine Auszeit abseits des normalen Zivilisationstrubels. Ein bisschen Alphüttenfeeling aber eben modern, geschmackvoll und natürlich luxuriöser als eine Berghütte. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

L'accès dépend des horaires du téléphérique, mais ça vaut largement la peine d'attendre 15 min.

Unglaublich bezauberndes Hotel! Das Essen war spitze! Die Glutein Intoleranz meiner Kollegin wurde sehr ernst genommen. Wir sind einfach nur zufrieden gewesen!!! Bravo weiter so😀👍

Toujours un plaisir de venir dans cet établissement. L accueil est tres chaleureux. Andy et Gaby sont des personnes tres attentionnées. Tout est fait pour que vous passiez un excellent sejour. La vue est exceptionnelle ainsi que le petit déjeuner et le dîner.

BEST BED WE’VE EVER SLEPT IN! With this hotel, you’re literally up in the clouds, and the bed made it feel like you’re sleeping in one! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed 1 night here with a lovely dinner and breakfast the next morning. The views are absolutely incredible also, do not miss out on a chance on staying here! Thanks guys!

Prachtige locatie met heerlijk terras met een fantastisch uitzicht. De gastheer en dame waren erg vriendelijk, het eten was super lekker en het ontbijt uitgebreid met allerlei streekproducten. Honden zijn er welkom! Houd wel rekening met de kabelbaan ivm extra kosten en tijd.

A short sky car ride to paradise. Andy and Gaby were the perfect hosts, we couldn’t have asked for much more. All local and fresh food is provided in the restaurant. We were also shown where to explore during our stay whilst also accommodating a young child who loved his stay. Andy also helped us with Swiss/UK plug adapters that we did not have which we really appreciated.

My wife and I stayed at Berggasthaus Eggberge for one magical night on August 13th, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish! The food was a true highlight creative, delicious, and expertly prepared. I enjoyed the warm salmon salad followed by the Wiener schnitzel, while my wife raved about the beef pie, declaring it the best she’s ever had! Our room was cosy, clean, and incredibly comfortable especially the pillows! Though we didn’t have a view of the Gitschen and Brunnistock mountains, the scenery from the back was still lovely and peaceful. The journey up via cable car added to the adventure, making the whole experience feel even more special. Andy and Gaby are exceptional hosts their passion and attention to detail shine through in every aspect, from the thoughtfully crafted menu to the welcoming atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will cherish the memories. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a unique, relaxing, and delicious mountain retreat!

Sehr stilvoll& gemütlich, tolle Aussicht.

An amazing find! This lovely hotel is in an incredible location. It is quiet and remote, feeling much more authentic. Yet it is also easy to get to. The Altdorf area is our favorite in Switzerland. It is a hidden gem with lots of trails and views and few tourists. The hotel has lovely views, beautiful rooms, delicious food, and thoughtful owners. We loved many of the extra touches such as a tea/coffee maker in our room, and a screen on the windows. The food was the best we have had on our trip so far. And it was so peaceful. We loved wandering around, watching the cows, and enjoying the scenery. We will be back again.

Fantastisch hotel, 10 uit 10. Hotel ligt pal naast het station van de kabelbaan. Je hebt een prachtig uitzicht vanuit het hotel. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn ruim genoeg en schoon. Vanaf het hotel heb je verschillende opties voor een wandeltocht.
