Ruhige Lage im Grünen. Sehr herzliche Atmosphäre. Ausgezeichnete Küche.

The host and hostess could not have made us feel more comfortable and welcome. We ate dinner at their restaurant and the food and wine were top notch though pricey but well worth it.

We would have made it out base for the area we wanted to spend our time in but it was just a little too far of a drive.

O melhor alojamento em que tivemos na Suiça. Casa tipicamente suíça, muito acolhedora. Restaurante muito tranquilo e com comida muito saborosa. Serviço 5 estrelas. Simpatia e disponibilidade constante da proprietária. Um especial agradecimento à "portuguesa" Maria José pelas dicas que nos deu.

So glad we skipped Zurich and directly came down to this quaint picturesque little town. Very close to Lucerne if you’re up for some city action. View from the property is amazing and you’ll feel like you’ve landed in a movie. Angelica and her husband are fantastic hosts.

Lieliska naktsmītne,ērta atrašanās vieta. Rezervējot izvēlējāmies arī klāt brokastis. Katru rītu viss svaigs un garšīgs. Varbūt varētu būt lielāka dažadība,bet mēs bijām ļoti apmierināti ari to,kas tika piedāvāts. Ļoti laipna, sirsnīga sagaidīša,viss personāls rūpigs un atsaucīgs. Paldies par pretimnākšanu,ka brokastot drīkstēja pirms oficiāla laika,iepriekš piesakot. Ērtas gultas,labi izgulējāmies. Noteikti netraucēja,bet lika pasmaidīt ikrīta modinātājs -govju ganāmpulks kaimiņu pļavā (zvanu zvanišana). Skats no balkona skaists.

Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte, è stata un'esperienza davvero piacevole! La location è bellissima, il Landgasthof Grossteil è immerso nella campagna svizzera, tra prati e fattorie, in un posto molto tranquillo. La nostra camera era piccolina ma molto accogliente e dotata di tutto il necessario. Personale davvero gentile e disponibile. Colazione ottima!

Nulla da segnalare, ci farà piacere ritornare se ripasseremo a Giswil!

We were extremely satisfied with our stay! The room was beautifully renovated, very well equipped, and offered a stunning view. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the kindness of the hosts - on two nights when we were stuck in traffic and the restaurants had already closed, they prepared food for us without hesitation. Extremely delicious food too! We’re forever grateful for their thoughtfulness. A beautiful family business, run with heart and incredible attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Schöne Lage im Grünen in altem Obwaldner Haus. Alles sehr gepflegt. Sehr freundliches und professionelles Gastgeberpaar mit tollem Team.

Sehr netter Empfang, alles sauber und gemütlich, Gaststube mit sehr leckerem Menü, sehr ruhig gelegen, Fahrradabstellraum, leckeres Frühstück.

Da es nahe eines Bauernhofes ist hat es sehr viele Fliegen im Restaurant Im Zimmer hatte es keine.

Stunning place, beautiful surroundings, hostess.was so welcoming and friendly. Super clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding and delicious. Lovely staff served breakfast. I loved it here.

Room gets very warm but that can't be helped in the middle of summer.

Amazing location with amazing view of swiss alps

Struggled to get to the place as it was during night and some roads were closed. I suggest not to use the booking.com location, instead go to Giswil And from Giswil u can type the name of the hotel in the google map, this is how we managed to get the place.

Quiet and lovely atmosphere in a small village. Very beautiful place. The room was clean and smelled nice. There was a universal plug in the bathroom drawer. And a mosquito killer plug in the wardrobe. Kettle and coffee maker with cups were in the hall. But there are only 5-6 rooms so no problem. The staff were wearing local clothes which were very lovely.

Very accommodating hosts in a beautiful location midway between Interlaken and Lucern. Absolutely stunning views. Rooms were spacious and very clean. One room was beautifully remodeled, the other two were older but still very nice. The historic guesthouse is family owned and run and the love this family has for their guests is very evident. We had a travel delay that kept us from arriving while the restaurant was still serving dinner, but the hosts offered to make us cold sandwiches to have when we arrived. When we arrived, they had the sandwiches ready and offered a few other options (salad, appetizers), which was greatly appreciated!

The only thing we didn’t like was the fact that we were only booked to stay here for one night. We would have loved to stay longer and hope to come back someday!

Old monastery converted into a hotel. Charming location, beautiful views

Evening staff did not provide an iron. No ability to make tea/coffee in the room. We booked a room with a desk/separated bath etc, we were given a lower tier room. Also while booking it said on the website that robes, slippers etc are given in the rooms which was incorrect.

Beautiful and clean property in a fabulous location

Hospitality was excellent! Rooms were a little small for a couple but to be expected for the building and location. Overall a wonderful experience.

The staff were excellent. Made you feel very welcome and not just from one member, all were very friendly. The location was beautiful, but maybe not for those requiring city highlife. The location was a beautiful country setting on the outskirts of a small rural village. Great views of the local mountains. The accommodation itself was to a high standard.

Five rooms within a busy restaurant. With the windows open, the noise may keep you up.

The breakfast and meals were delicious. The view from the room was gorgeous and what you imagined it would look like when staying in Switzerland. The inn's owners and the staff were nice, friendly and helpful.
