Paimentupa Rantamökki

The location was amazing. So cozy, peaceful and quiet. At the same time connected. It was only 7 minutes drive from village. The sauna and the pier to access the lake was great. We could swam after using sauna. The TV was also had option to cast streaming service. The AC was very helpful to keep the cottage warm.

One small thing, the double bed is technically not a double bed. It's two single bed next to each other. It was fine and managable though.

Eine bezaubernde Unterkunft, so gemütlich und in absolut ruhiger Lage! Wir haben eine Rundreise durch Finnland gemacht und hier hat es uns mit am besten gefallen - was für ein wunderschönes Plätzchen, direkt an einem See mit kristallklarem Wasser, einem Steg und Ruderboot. Wir würden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen wollen. Toni, der Vermieter, hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Wer möchte kann auch auf Islandpferden einen Ausritt buchen!

Uns fällt dazu nichts ein! Die Einrichtung ist etwas einfacher, was uns überhaupt nicht gestört hat. Alles passte so wie es ist!

Toni was a generous host - showed us around the cabin and provided invaluable hiking information. The cabin is better than described, everything you would need (including a boat to row around your own island), picturesque setting and a great grocery store less than 10km away if you have forgotten anything. There was absolutely nothing to dislike

Struttura stupenda, location fantastica, alloggio con suana indimenticabile!

Tout est parfait ! D'abord le lieu, au bord d'un petit lac, avec un joli bois de bouleaux. La barque pour explorer est agréable. Le sauna au bois est bien et le ponton pour accéder au lac et se raffraichir aussi. Le logement est très confortable (deux fauteuils très très confortables pour lire) et la cuisine bien équipée. Enfin, le parc de Koli est tout proche et c'est magnifique.

Very nice and quiet place

Eriomainen sijainti rauhallisella järven rannalla, lähellä Kolin retkeilypolkuja ja kylää. Rentouttava ja viihtyisä perinteinen mökkipaikka.

Kannattaa huomioida, että mökissä ei ole varsinaista kylpyhuonetta vaan suihku on saunassa, jonne käynti terassin kautta.

Posizione eccellente, completamente a contatto con la natura, in un luogo riservato con accesso al molo. Sauna a legna bellissima, zona living con vetrata e vista sul lago; cucina fornita di tutto il necessario. Pulizia ottima. Proprietari gentili e disponibili. Possibilità di accendere il camino in sala.

Bagno piuttosto piccolo e doccia nella sauna esterna.

Incredible place to rest from your everyday life. You should definitely try a horse riding with Markus!

The property is a luxury-with running water, a sauna, a kitchen with cooking and dining equipments, a TV, a radio, a microwave, fishing gears (which we borrowed from the host), fishing net, a boat, bbq facilities, a Finnish dart, a terrace and outdoor table for dining, and the most is the amazing view from the property. The location is not far from Koli National park and you can also book a horseback riding from them (if you wish, too- they have icelandic horses!). The property is ideal for anyone (solo traveler, couple, family, and friends) who would like to visit Koli. Also, the hosts are very friendly and very attentive.

Nothing because we like there. Have traveled around Finland and stayed in different cabins but this one is simple but exceptional. Love it! Just few things for improvement maybe. It would be nice to have in there a big bottle of shampoo and shower gel (we traveled unprepared as we decided to have a stop in Koli, but for those who are fully/equipped travelers, this suggestion may not be relevant), a cork opener for wines, a mosquito curtain at the entrance door (maybe in future), an oven cook top cleaner (so future guest can clean it themselves and cannot ruin the cook top).
