Een huiskamer zou prettig zijn en de oude bank in een van de slaapkamers zou weggegooid moeten worden. Een douche in plaats van een bad met een sproeier op 1 haakje zou prettig zijn.

Nice clean house very well situated between Lucerne and Interlaken, close to lake Lungern which is one of the most beautifal lakes. Only 4 minutes walk to train station which was a big plus. Owners of the property such nice family don't have words to describe. Really enjoyed our stay , highly recommend.

Nice old house with all facilities. Living close to the nature. Easy access to all attractions, even by using public transport. The stop is just 10 min by walk. And a kind owner. Thanks for short and sweet visit to their family farm.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! Michael and his family were on hand to help us throughout the stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and even coffee pods were available for a small fee. The washing machine and tumble dryer were again available for a small fee, which was fantastic for us on our 2-week trip! Michael offered to take us to see his cows, which is an absolute must. His daughter gave us a tour of the farm. It really was the highlight of our two-week trip, and Rachel was so so lovely. Their farm shop is an absolute must-visit too! The location of the property was brilliant, with access to walks directly from the property. I thought being near the train line it might be noisy, but it was not.

In no way a criticism of the property in any way, but don't make the same mistake we did and think that Switzerland uses the euro adapter! Michael very kindly lent us one. 10/10

We had a very pleasant stay and would especially like to thank Esther for her outstanding hospitality. She was incredibly helpful, responsive, and welcoming from the very beginning. We accidentally went to the wrong address when we arrived, but she took the time to guide us to the correct location, explained everything clearly, and provided useful recommendations for the area. Her kindness and availability made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The house itself is not particularly modern, but we believe that is part of its charm. It fits well with the character of the region and offers an authentic countryside experience. The location worked well for us, being about 25 minutes from Interlaken, while still allowing us to enjoy the peace and quiet of a more rural setting. One thing future guests should know is that having a car is essentially necessary. The property is quite isolated, and there are no major shops or services within easy walking distance.

The main area for improvement would be the comfort during the summer months. While we understand that installing air conditioning in Switzerland can be expensive and may not be practical for every property, a simple fan in each bedroom could make a significant difference. During our stay, one of the bedrooms became very warm, and one guest struggled to sleep because of the heat. We were able to sleep in our room with the windows open, but a fan would have greatly improved comfort at a relatively low cost.

The owners were exceptionally accommodating to the point of personally showing us some local highlights. Property was quiet, clean, comfortable, and close to the train station and trails.

Wir waren am EG. Emfpang war gut, wohnung war sauber und genug platz vorhanden für große famillie. Heizung funktuniert auch sehr gut.

Was uns gestört hat, war, dass das Wasser bereits bei der ersten Benutzung des Geschirrspülers nicht abgepumpt wurde und sich im Gerät gesammelt hat. Dadurch konnten wir den Geschirrspüler während unseres Aufenthalts nicht nutzen und mussten das Geschirr von Hand spülen, was uns viel zusätzliche Zeit gekostet hat.

Cozy and good value for money! Even though it snowed a lot before our arrival the house was warm when we arrived. We were with 7 people and the downstairs apartment had 8 beds. House has old world charm and is well equipped for a family stay!

It had one bathroom, and was not accessible by our normal car when it snowed 80 cms .. owner was gracious to help us bring our luggage and find us a parking nearby

Actually all are okey. But because of the heavy snow and the location is under the hill, our car stuck and luckily for us there is neighbours who came and helped us push the car.

Ejer var super hjælpsom med at hente bagage i flere omgange også selvom de sidste lejere ankom meget sent. Vi kunne ikke køre det sidste ned til huset på grund af meget is og sne.

Host Michael picked us up from the station since it was raining and our train was delayed. Stayed as a family - so took 2 rooms in the house - very clean and comfortable beds. Kitchen was great as well with nice amenities. They also have a washer and dryer. Location is super - no noise and peaceful surroundings, train station Bruenig Hasliberg in 300m. Great place to stay for a quiet vacation instead of city center, as travelling to various cities is very easy from here via train. Bonus point - Piano to play for music lovers! Would have also liked to visit their farm that they invited us to, unfortunately we did not have time.

The location was nice and it's very good value for money. they are nice people with a nice house but it's a bit old house but it's nice to see the local culture

if you have a car the ramp to the house was a bit too scary for my family but was okay for me. Would be more nice if we could arrive to checkin more late but they are famer so it was not easy for them. but they are nice and friendly people i tottaly suggest it

We had an amazing stay. The property is located relatively near to all the places we wanted to visit. Beds were very comfortable and huge. Kitchen had everything we needed. Water pressure was great and hot water was always available. The garden around the house was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Esther was so kind and helpful. She showed us everything and was always available. We would definitely come back.

There is no living room contrary to the photos shown on booking.com. The shower facility is poor: need to kneel down to take shower. The fridge door is broken. We overlooked there's no wifi available, which's already stated in the description.

Just a small thing, but we'd appreciate more detailed instructions on how to get to the property. Google Maps led us to a similar but wrong turn just before the property, and that route is quite hard to drive on without a car with food ground clearance (very bumpy road). I'd suggest adding a screenshot of the map showing the right junction to take (as well as cross out the wrong junction).

The house is very spacious and the owners are very nice and cooperative.

The host was very friendly. He picked us up at the train station and gave us all information needed. It is very close to the train station, clean and has easy access to walking trails. The kitchen is very well equipped, we only missed a wine opener.

The host didn’t provide towels as we expected. Once I asked about, she bought them and said that in Switzerland guest house usually doesn’t provide them. After a short conversation I suggested her to start to or she would miss clients travelling with small suitcase(I would not book a place without towels).

This property has to be one of our best stays of all time! Michael and Esther were genuine and kind, picked us up from the train station and gave a great tour of the property and its history. The welcome was warm and friendly, and we felt at home right away. The property itself is a 5-6 min walk to the railway station, very conveniently located about an hour away from both Luzern and Interlaken. We wanted to have the flexibility to visit either (weather permitting) and it worked perfectly! The house has two bedrooms, and an equipped kitchen with a microwave, kettle and toaster. The bathroom is basic but clean and senior-friendly. The place is cozy and nestled in nature, has parking, and overall, a great place to stay!

Michael and Esther kindly invited us to visit their cows, but we had other plans and couldn't make the invitation. We wish we had more time to stay here, that's one thing we didn't like :D
