The owner, who also runs a travel company, was a wealth of knowledge and helped us with local insights and planning. Communication was easy thanks to their excellent English. Breakfast was fresh and generous, and the staff were consistently friendly and attentive. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Food served was also very delicious at very reasonable rates. The host Parveez was very helpful and responsive to any request.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig für dass sie mitten in der Stadt liegt. Die Betten sind bequem . Wir haben zwei Nächte hier verbracht und wurden so nett beraten und betreut. Wir bekamen so viele Tipps und es wurde alles für uns gemacht.

the quality or rather size of the portion lets say the Omlette - Was shrivelled and small. The cook/ caretaker had no expertise in making it. Using the same ingredients it could have been much better.

The staff here were very helpful, property is 5 min walk from the centre of town and room is spacious and comes with a/c. Keep in mind mosquitos are prominent in this part of the country so consider getting mosquito repellent.

There is a caretaker who is available all the time to help you with anything that you need. The owner is very courteous and made sure to check upon the guests. The stay was comfortable.

Before our arrival itself he made all the arrangements to ensure a comfortable stay. He also checked on our food preferences and served us home cooked food. Parveez also made it a point that we tasted few local delicacies during our sojourn. He was always ready with local suggestions - be it food, sightseeing or shopping whenever we reached out to him. Thank you Parveez for making our visit to Jorhat memorable!

The property is situated in a prime location, with all the markets and amenities just a short walk away. Host Parvez was an incredibly helpful and attentive host, always available to assist with anything I needed. The accommodations were comfortable, and the location was very convenient for my work . Host did everything to make sure I felt at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming and well-managed stay!

No wifi, no breakfast, there is no proper bill, you will be served a cash memo, the rate shown in the website is different than what they charged. They call it home stay but there is nothing home about it, they served water only when asked, when asked for breakfast at 8:30 am in the morning, they said they should have been notified before, if 8:30 am is late for a toast and omelette then there is nothing to say.
