Sandtorgholmen Glamping

Great location, not far from the airport. Beautiful fjord nearby. The tent is quite comfortable, the bed is nice, there is an electricity and heater inside for the colder nights. Free tea and coffee at reception.

Not the property fault, but it could be very loud in the tent during windy nights.

Estuvimos durmiendo en las tiendas, eran muy cómodas y con calefacción. En un lugar muy bonito El desayuno completo y rico.

Eramos 8 personas y sólo había un baño para todos.

Tout! C'était magnifique, nous étions dans une tente et c'était merveilleux nous avions tout ce qui nous fallait il y faisait bon les lits étaient parfaits, c'était spacieux pour nous deux. Les douches et toilettes sont à deux pas, le panorama était à chaque minute de la journée fantastique. On peut faire des rando directement de la et les transports public sont devant la porte de la propriété. Le petit deljeuner était délicieux, les possibilités de lire et jouer à des jeux de société le soir dans le lounge étaient très agréables . Ils y proposent des dîners délicieux. Mais surtout et avant tout nous avons énormément apprécié l'accueil l'aide et la gentillesse d'Anita!

La route trop passante et des camions qui roulent jusqu'à pas d'heure. Depuis les logements en dur l'isolation phonique devait être meilleure

Glampingen (tältet) var iofs inordning men runt om var området inte skött. Det gjorde att trivseln sjönk och vi ville byta till ett rum. Det var personalen tillmötesgående med och vi fick ett fint rum i huvudbyggnaden. Ett gammalt kulturhus som tyvärr var väldigt lyhört.

De tent is leuk en prima. De douchefaciliteit is een beetje een rommeltje (al was de douche zelf prima). Ontbijt was inbegrepen en prima. Avondeten (een buffet) was heerlijk en lekker kunne uitbuiken daar in het restaurant.

De douche faciliteiten waren een beetje rommelig en de prijs is aan de hoge kant.

Någon gång tidig natt försvann strömmen i tältet och vi hade ingen värme! 3-4 grader🥶 Dåliga faciliteter, bara en vanlig toa med handfat som tältgästerna skulle ha som badrum.

The shower facility was excellent with plenty of hot water. Beds were really comfy.

The place seems a little tired and it’s a shame there aren’t more staff. No washing up facilities for people who are glamping and self catering. The hot tub / jacuzzi wasn’t available. The breakfast was cold, although the coffee was good. A lot of the facilities listed on the website weren’t in the glamping tents - eg, bath robes, clothes rack.

We arrived after 11 p.m. and everything was open anyway. Sleeping in tent is a great experience. Shower and toilet were in nearby building. Breakfast was good.

Kind staff and beautiful Beach right next to the hotel

Booked a Glamping but couldn’t stay there because the had not made the room ready. We wouldn’t have had anything against waiting, but probably sie to understaffing the weren’t able to fix it and we got a standard room instead. Would not have stayed here for a standard room

Authentic with amazing views

The tent is very beautifully decorated and had everything you need. The view over the Lake is great and the breakfast was very nice.

Great Breakfast Comfy Beds

“Glamping” is frankly false advertising. It implies a level of facilities or luxery, both of which were barely present. Starting with was out of the property’s control, due to a staff shortage they cancelled dinner. Can happen, but there was literally no-one present on site and we had to call the emergency line to figure out which tent was ours. Because of no-one on site the cafe was closed, so we had no access to any of the coffee or water until the day after. There’s also no restaurant or store nearby, neither was it possible to cook on site. What was in the property’s control were the poor facilities: - The tent floor was dirty - Both nightlights didn’t work and half the Christmas lights didn’t work - There’s no fridge, table, or anything else you’d expect when glamping, just two sofas. No place to hang your coat or wet towels - The shared shower is extremely run down and kind of gross - The sauna was broken, which was one of the reasons we booked this place - Our tent was not facing the water, but instead next to the gravel road with other guests walking by constantly.

The staff were above and beyond wonderful. The beds were super comfortable. The tent stay was magical. The food was mostly fantastic - the best fish stew I have ever had and great fresh breads. The hike to the small mountain across the street was a treat.

I like this hotel! I like the glamping style. Perfect tent along the lake (sea). The hotel prepared everything in your tent. Comfy bed, I arrived here quite late(evening) and it was rain that time. If on sunny day would be perfect. The breakfast soooo good and yummy. Staffs really helpful. I would definitely back here again.

Only one thing in the tent, it would be great if can get the bigger heater. Quite cold at night. and the shower room quite far from tent and facility.

All is perfect

Beautiful location: you basically open the tent onto the Fjord! Buildings around are very nice too: an old farm that's been modified into a hotel. Good service, staff was very helpful and friendly. There's an excellent sauna right next to the tents with views of the fjord as well.

The distance to the shower facilities is a bit far, though toilets are available in the main building right next to the tent. The dinner buffet and breakfast are limited, could clearly use improvement in quality and diversity. Half of the lamps of the tent were not working.

This would be an awesome place to stay during summer days - you can open the tent and have water just in front of you. We stayed at the beginning of September, and I'd say that it was a little too cold. Very welcoming hosts, great 'home-style cooked' dinner available (which I enjoyed very much), and good breakfast. Water/tea/coffee is available all the time. There is also a sauna you can book.

FYI, there is a restroom on the first floor of the main building, but if you want to take a shower then you need to go all the way back to the parking lot where the shared shower is located. Can be a little bit noisy during the night since the port, airport (and maybe snoring neighbor) are nearby. The batteries in all the candles died so we only had fairy lights.
