Le petit déjeuner était extraordinaire et l'accueil du monsieur très charmant et gentil qui fait l'effort de parler Français.

Pas de rideau à la douche, écran visuel lorsqu'on sort de la douche. Et la chambre était très petite.

Het hele pakket, alles van begin tot eind was super. De hosts, ontzettend vriendelijk en zorgzaam, je voelt je meteen op je gemak. De accomodatie is prachtig en ademt een rustgevende sfeer. Het is echt een beleving om hier te verblijven. Het ontbijt was ook geweldig en de hosts doen er alles aan om ervoor te zorgen dat je geniet van je verblijf.

Le calme La gentillesse des hôtes La maisôn est très belle avec sa jolie piscine et son beau jardin. Le petit déjeuner est raffiné et excellent.

Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk; het ontbrak ons aan niet; vers geperste sinasappelsap, een ommelet en een cappuccino naar wens ook voor een 2e keer. Heerlijke joghurt met granola, tomaatjes met feta eb olijven en rucola. Alles was zeer verzorgd!

Niets; het is een heerlijke fijne plek om tot rust te komen en de gastvrouw en de gastheer doen hun uiterste best om het naar je zin te maken.

The hosts are very kind and nice.

Every single thing about this place was exceptional. The room was incredibly nice, air conditioning was great, comfortable bed, clean shower and toilet with a large bath. The outside is stunning with the way they maintain their garden. Eating breakfast there was incredibly satisfying. Most important of all, the owners are an amazing couple. Very nice people, I enjoyed their company very much and wish I could stay and talk with them for more hours.

That my stay couldn't be longer

Everything from the bed to the vibes around the property, honestly was just very much good energy the hole time there, too really better than 5 star hotels hands down!

We zijn zeer vriendelijk ontvangen geweest. Inge en Marc zijn aangename mensen die hun best doen om het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Het zwembad is prachtig en je mag er tijdens bepaalde uren gebruik van maken. Je kan de sauna afhuren. De tuin met vijver is zalig, zeker om er s' morgens te zitten ontbijten. De wagen staat veilig geparkeerd. Het ontbijt is prima in orde, er is fruit, yoghurt, vers fruitsap, charcuterie, verschillende soorten broodjes, lekkere koffie.

Niets opgemerkt dat ons tegen viel.

Persoonlijk vond ik de matras te zacht. Maar voor 1 nacht was het prima. Edwin vond de matras prima, heeft ook lekker geslapen.

Uitstekende ligging, parking en plaats voor fietsen.

De gedeelde badkamer en ontbijt in huiselijke sfeer met andere gasten aan dezelfde tafel is voor ons niet zo een aanrader. Maar dit is dan een persoonlijke mening.

We kregen een hartelijke ontvangst. Heerlijk ontbeten met een perfect gekookt eitje.

De woning c.q. wellness ligt aan de rand van Oud-Turnhout en is van een hoge standaard. De kamer is modern en ruim. Het zit doordacht in elkaar.

Wat een fijn verblijf! De kamer, het ontbijt en de faciliteiten waren allemaal uitstekend verzorgd. Vooral de boksles die ik mocht volgen was een unieke en geweldige ervaring.

Title: One night that turned into two - true wellness, mindfulness and Ikigai living I initially booked one night at Ikigai B&B (Turnhout area / Oud‑Turnhout), but I felt so peaceful so quickly that I booked an extra night immediately. This place doesn’t just offer comfort: it offers a complete reset. Everything here invites you into a slower rhythm: the calm of the home, the gentle energy, and the sense that your wellbeing actually matters. The wellness experience must feel intentional and soothing, with facilities such as a Finnish sauna, hot tub, infrared and indoor/outdoor relaxation areas, set in a carefully created garden atmosphere, and a heated outdoor pool in season. Unfortunatly, I didn't make use of the welness facilities. But I will next time! What elevates Ikigai into something truly special is the human experience. Marc and Inge bring heaps of life experience and wisdom, and the conversations I had with them were surprisingly profound grounded, inspiring and mindful. Their personal story and the meaning behind Ikigai adds a deeper layer: you don’t just “stay,” you feel yourself returning to balance. Location-wise, it’s also ideal if you want nature to support your reset, with the Liereman nature area nearby and walking/cycling routes right outside. Marc and Inge are more than happy to share them with you. In short: if you’re looking for a luxury wellness B&B near Turnhout with authentic mindfulness and heartfelt hosting, Ikigai delivers. And then some.

Verzorgde B&B in een rustige omgeving, ideaal om tot rust te komen. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Kamer en badkamer waren zeer comfortabel. Het ontbijt was in een huiselijke sfeer en zeer lekker. Een aanrader!

Marc and Inge have created a beautiful, homely atmosphere grounded in the philosophy of Ikigai, finding meaning, calm and purpose in daily life. Wasser und Kaffee direkt im Zimmer. Ein super bequemes Bett. Allgemein fühlt sich der ganze Aufenthalt an als wäre man bei Freunden zu Gast. Eine der besten Geschäftsreisen die ich hatte.

Charmante, mooi ingericht huis dat rust en zen uitstraalt. Hartelijk ontvangst door Marc. Deze locatie biedt een wellnessruimte en een mooie tuin met zwembad. Parkeergelegenheid beschikbaar. Rustige straat.

Geen negatief punt aan te merken.

Het onthaal was heel hartelijk. De uitbaters stralen passie voor het vak uit. Geen vraag was teveel. De woning en het verblijf is kraaknet. In de verduisterde kamer met lekker bed slaap je als een engel. De omgeving is super voor mensen die houden van de natuur, bossen, wandelen, fietsen, joggen... We hebben zelf geen gebruik gemaakt van de welnessfaciliteiten maar als je hier vandaan komt, moet je helemaal zen zijn.

Al heeft het helemaal geen hinder opgeleverd, is voor mij een gedeelde badkamer een minpuntje.

Het ontbijt was uitstekend. De eigenaars waren super vriendelijk we voelden ons direct thuis. Een oase van rust. Zeker een aanrader.

Voor ons was alles top niets op aan te merken.

De ligging van het B & B ligt vlakbij Turnhout. Er was voldoende plek voor onze fietsen.

Wij misten een kastje om kleding in te leggen.

we hebben geen ontbijt kunnen nemen, kort na 1h snachts moeten vertrekken huiswaarts gekraakt van de pijn, van slechte topper of boxspring

het bed.. was duidelijk niet bruikbaar voor mij... boxspring waar enkel een topper van 5cm op ligt, ik ben rugpatient en dat is dus zeker niet voor mij weg gelegd, wel dure grap eerlijk gezegd 137 euro voor paar uur op bed te liggen.. midden de nacht kan je moeilijk de eigenaars wakker maken en vragen voor andere kamer of bed of matras

Marc and Ingre were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. They were very helpful. They have a wealth of information about the area and things to do.

Nothing really. This property ticked the boxes, especially so close to the place we were visiting. It was a little tricky to locate, but this was easily overcome.

The bungalow is very clean and comfortable, Mark and his wife are very kind and thougtful.

We thought we could appreciate the spa (sauna), that is announced as the equipment in the presentation, but it would cost an extra 120 euro to access the sauna. That is unfortunate as we selected this one for the spa.

Inge and Marc share their paradise house with their guests with much passion. Our room was located on the ground floor, and we enjoyed our own bathroom and separate toilet. The perks of the house are obviously the pool, but especially Inge and Marc’s hospitality. They tend to their guests with great care and this shows for example in the lovely breakfast, which we were able to enjoy next to the pool on the terrace. For us the location was perfect: we were only a 6 minute bike ride away from our friends’ house. Also Turnhout is very accessibly from their place, only a short drive away.

Super friendly hosts who take a lot of pride in their Bed & Breakfast. A real joy to stay with them ! I would recommend this place to everybody.

This is a rip-off. When I looked for a hotel in the city I was travelling through on Booking.com, I received a list of the local hotels. I clicked and booked; I was charged 115 Euros. Then I entered the hotel info into my navigation system and ?????? The hotel was located 80 km away, and I would have to drive 80 Km going the opposite direction. I asked about the refund of the payment. I never received any reply.

Marc and Inge are very nice and did go the extra mile to make the stay very pleasant. The pool is amazing!

Amazing house! The hosts are very friendly and easy going. Everything was perfect! It's also bike friendly, they can keep your bikes safe in a garage.
