Le lieu

C’est l’un des meilleurs établissements où nous avons séjourné. Nous avions une chambre double, qui donne sur le jardin très agréable, avec salle de bain juste à côté. C’était très propre, très calme, très paisible. La maison est à deux pas de la place centrale. Monica est adorable, généreuse et accueillante ! On a eu un vrai coup de cœur pour elle (et pour les animaux de la maison) Merci, nous reviendrons avec grand bonheur

Tiene muy buena ubicación a dos cuadras del parque, los baños compartidos muy limpios y buena agua caliente, la persona que nos atendió muy formal y a buen precio.

Que no tenia televisor y el sensor del baño se apaga muy rápido

Sehr schönes Haus, toller Garten mit verschiedenen Obstbäumen. Die Küche ist mit den Basics zum kochen ausgestattet. Es ist sehr ruhig, man ist aber trotzdem zu Fuß in 5 min am Plaza. Monica ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit.

Der Garten ist großartig. Man kann vögel beobachten, in den verschiedensten ecken chillen und es ist ausgesprochen ruhig. Und das bei der sehr guten Lage! Mein Zimmer führte direkt in den Garten und hatte eine große Schiebetür mit Glasfenstern, was ich geliebt habe. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, z.b. mit 2 unterschiedl. Kaffeemaschinen (frenchpress und bialetti-typ). Und das wichtigste: Monica ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin.

By far the most beautiful place I have stayed for a few months - everyday I kept extending for another night! Beds and rooms are very comfortable with a large garden (with cats and dogs!) to bask in the sun! Monica is lovely, making the stay very comfortable and was quick to introduce me to the luzart community and give me restaurant recommendations. Compared to the rest of the coffee region, Jardin is much quieter, cheaper and authentic to stay in!

The rooms are simple but clean, perfect location, beautiful garden which is so nice to chill and a great area to meet other people from the hostel

We had a wonderful stay. The property has a beautiful garden, a very well-equipped kitchen, and our room was lovely and comfortable. The host was amazing—delightfully quirky in the best possible way and very funny. Overall, our stay was extremely pleasant, and we would happily come back.

The place is amazingly cute and cozy. It’s also absolutely beautiful as it is an ancient colonial house. with interior garden. The garden at the back is really nice. I stayed 2 weeks because I felt at home. Very clean, hot water and pressure in the showers. Kitchen well equipped. And above all the host Monica is super welcoming, caring and friendly. Close to center but far enough to be quiet. Loved, loved the 3 cats Miré, Lemon and Selba. Really enjoyed my stay at LuzArt. 100% recommend it!!!

It's a nice hostel, but the owner is anti-Israeli, I highly suggest for Israelis to stay away from this hostel.

Incroyable établissement à Jardín. À 2 minutes à pieds du centre, propreté irréprochable, cuisine à disposition, beaucoup d’espaces communs pour se poser et Monica est une hôte adorable.

L'emplacement est parfait à 2min à pied du centre. Le logement est bien équipé plusieurs douches, toilettes, une cuisine en extérieur et un grand jardin. Monica est une hôte très accueillante et très gentille. Je recommande vivement

This was one of the best hostels ever. I immediately felt at home.It is in the centre of jardín, but still quiet due to it's backyard. There is plenty of space, so you can connect with others but also have space for yourself! The owner Monica is pure vibes, she makes you feel so welcome, thank you so much and helps you if you have any questions!! I had an amazing stay and stayed an extra night because it was so cozy!!! Very clean, plugs to charge your devices everywhere, lovely garden to watch birds...

Monica ist einfach großartig und gibt sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge, speziell Wanderungen! Insgesamt eine tolle Atmosphäre und ein megaschöner Garten zum Entspannen. Auch die dorms sind seeehr geräumig und abends ist es ruhig! Ich komme definitiv wieder...

L’Hostel est bien situé, le jardin est magnifique et l’ambiance est relax

Le bruit… chambre privée avec salle de bains privée (sur le palier) donnant sur l’espace commun salon cuisine, on s’est peu reposés car très peu d’intimité et beaucoup de bruit même le soir Quand l’hôtel est rempli, la cuisine est très petite pour tout le monde

The place is very beautiful and cozy, there is a nice living room to hang out.

The large and well equipped kitchen advertised on the picture is actually not for use for the guests, it’s only for the owner. The guests have to use a different, small and poorly equipped kitchen which gets very crowded. I think it’s a bit unfair to add pictures of a fancy kitchen and then not allow the guests to use it.

Uma das minhas melhores experiências em hostel, a Mónica foi uma anfitriã 5 estrelas, muito amigável e levarei uma amiga para a vida. A Jenny que ajuda na organização do espaço é uma menina muito educada, amigável e muito prestativa. Hostel muito limpo e sempre organizado. Marquei duas noites e fiquei quase duas semanas. Perto do centro e com opções de quarto compartilhado e de casal. Duches sempre limpos e com água quente. Cozinha com os itens necessários para preparar um café da manhã e outras refeições. Un espacio muy acogedor, cerca del parque principal, y el personal muy amable.

La vibra. Iba para dos días y me quedé una semana. Es uno de esos lugares que tienen tal personalidad que te atrapan. El mejor lugar del viaje. Un jardín hermoso, si puedes, agarra las habitaciones que dan allá. Despertarás con el canto de los pájaros y unas vistas a esos verdes tan lindos que tiene Colombia Moni, ¡Sos mi ídola! .

Beautiful place and the lady was nice and quite attentive. Cats were adorable too. Location is a block away from the plaza. Price is extremely affordable and very cost-effective.

Service wasnt really slow but could be faster. Internet is OK but I dont recommend it for remote work. If your room is close to their pretty garden, you might attract insects to your room and I think I had some bug bites. That last specific issue was the main reason I had to deduct my score.

El lugar estaba limpio.

La habitación con baño privado tiene el baño afuera de la habitación, el agua de la ducha no es muy caliente, la luz del cuarto no funcionaba, el velador si. No pude descansar la primera noche porque hubo fiesta hasta las 3 am, que hice el reclamo y desde ahi pude descansar pero nadie decia nada si yo no me quejaba. A partir del otro dia todos preguntaban sarcasticamente si habian podido descansar bien, incluida la dueña. En el momento que llegué tenia hambre, la persona que me recibió (entiendo que es la dueña) me recomendo un lugar y le dije que soy vegana, que tenia algunos lugares en vista y me dijo que los veganos son insoportables 😳. Pésimo prejuicio, obviamente no me dio mas ganas de estar ahi. Solo iba a dormir.

Very friendly host Monica who was chatty and always up to share a glass of wine, and friendly staff who were very helpful and warm Cute cats and a dog Beautiful scenery within the hostel, lots of places to hang out Met a great couple whilst there and we went on a coffee tour and dinner together so for me as a solo traveller it was good! Great location a few mins from the main square Free Gaza sign on the front door 🇵🇸✊🏽

Not the fault of the hostel but there was one day where there was no running water for about 12 hours from 9am - Monica warned us the night before so we could plan to shower before 9am but I was under the impression there’d be water in the bathroom tank for flushing the toilet etc but this ran out very quickly after 9am. Pillows were a bit uncomfortable The hostel doesn’t have activities planned so if you’re a solo traveller then it’s a bit more up to chance who you meet. When I was there it was relatively quiet. Then again Jardin is not a touristy area so there’s probably less going on generally. I really enjoyed the peace there

Even for the rooms with private bathroom, the shower is detached from the room. The room isn’t really well insulated so bugs can come in especially if you leave the lights on

The place was absolutely charming. Loved the people, the garden, the cats the artwork..... Also loved Jardín and the surrounding countryside.

The host is friendly and a real character. The place is very comfortable and chilled out. The pets are fun to play with too. Our laundry was done on site with no problems. The location is on a quiet road so not woken by cars.

Beautiful old spacious hostel. Large rooms with 3 beds, wooden shutters to open to the street. The open air kitchen has a view to the surrounding mountains. Very close to entrance for hikes and town square.

One of the best hostel I’ve stayed in! Monica was so welcoming and accommodating, really made it feel like a home. The space is lovely with the patio and garden which was so peaceful. The kitchen had everything you need and there at 3 cats and the cutest dog there! No bunk beds which makes for a good nights sleep and it’s very easy to socialise

A beautiful colonial house just one short block from the main square. The host Monica is such a welcoming person. The place is super clean and the beds are comfortable. The shared kitchen is well equipped. Jardin is one of the most beautiful friendly places in Colombia. Go there and stay at LuzArt.

A great hostel and the owner is a gem! She was super friendly and let me practice my Spanish, also was concerned that I'd grazed my knee, so sweet! Perfect location near the start of the trail up to Jesús. Very clean and a nice garden with lots of sofas and the pets are super cute. I'll come back if I can! ❤️🙏

Monica is an incredible host, helping you plan any activity around jardin with the right contacts. The place is tranquil with birds serenading you in the morning. Highly recommended.

Monica is the heart of the house. It was like coming home from the first moment. The hostel is so central and yet it's super peaceful. The patio is just so beautiful to sit in in the mornings, very peaceful cats and a dog of pure sweetness make the place really homely and cozy. Hope to come back to this place.

Monica is just the coolest with her little army of pets that will make you feel right at home. The house is exceptionally decorated and the garden is simply a dream. Despite being clean too. I loved arriving at LuzArt after being in noisy Medellín.

The kitchen could use some better equipment; toilet seats should make a comeback; please oil the hinges.

Had a wonderful stay at Monica and her lovely pets. She's an amazing and caring host. The accommodation is beautiful and authentic and close to center and hikes. Furthermore met some great travellers :)

Todo fenomenal, Monica es una crack!!!

Monica emanates love and kindness which made both of my stays at LuzArt so great. Everywhere is immaculately clean. The beds are comfortable and there's a nice social area with sofas and a dining table and chairs. I particularly love the fur babies :)
