Entertainment for the kids was sufficient. I liked the set programme.
No Wifi
The fact that there is no wifi in the rooms
בריכה מחוממת נחמדה ומתקני חצר חמודים
כל דבר במלון עולה כסף אפילו כניסה לבריכה, מיקום רחוק בדרך עפר משובשת
The room was spacious
The activities and everything was just expensive
Heat pool
Not enough animals
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the game drive and had a great time on the quad bikes with Thato. Food was on point😋 a movie under the stars, a great high light. Overall lots of fun.
The gravel road to Dikhololo was not nice but worth it once we reached our destination.
The stuff was friendly The rooms clean
The activities...and the facilities.
The fact that our shaley didn't have Wi-Fi and it was far from the main hall where we could connect. We where at P8 6 of us for 4 days without wi-fi . And the fact that at reception they did not inform us that we needed to buy our own electricity for the aircon hence they are off grid and the aircon works only when theres electricity .
Great facilities , the restaurant food was amazing , friendly staff
The restaurant and the restaurant staff were amazing, friendly chatting and when over and above my expectations
Reception unfriendly. Given stairs when my mom is 83 not even asked. Came to get another room, but drove around for half an hour to find. No assistance, no interest what so ever. Booked a suite for a peaceful vacation as I was emigration. Shared walls so thin heard every sound. Was disturbed till 3 in the morning most nights, thank goodness it was only 4 days of this. Complained again no interest, not even the option to move. What a horrible experience the worst I have had. Will never go back what a waste of time and money. And warn anybody who asks
Quad bike Game drive

No network in our unit, verrrrrry poor! Had to step outside just to make a call
The eventual upgraded room and manager.
The initial staff at reception were not friendly, the booking confirmation form from booking. Com said I could check in at 3pm but they only let us book in at 5om, the room was not what we requested (a double and 2 x singles and they gave 2 x sleeper couches), they then moved us next to a construction site(couldn't sleep later due to workers working). Gaps in door, floodlights on broken blinds so room was very bright trying to sleep, brokebn windows... After complaining they kindly upgraded and manager Melandi (I think) was very helpful and considerate. Sad we had to go through all of this to eventually get good service. AC also prepaid and they stingy and make it your problem to come get more tokens from reception, you have to pay for everything incl the super tube. Not greatest experience, prob will never return.
The service was excellent and friendly staff
The breakfast....muesli and yogurt 😪 Otherwise everything was great
We’ll position with a small Rocky Mountain, Monkey and Dassies and birds.
Hearing the neighbors next door through the walls
Our unit had no wifi coverage and it was not clean. There was hair of previous occupants in some parts of the unit

Clean affordable place
The pool and restaurant
The drive. There are no welcome amenities. Having to buy electricity for air conditioning. Walls not sound proof enough.
The purpose for our visit was to attend the Dikhololo Annual Shareholders meeting. Breakfast was fine and timeous. Room was neat and clean. Staff were friendly.
A very noisy fan from the restaurant below up until about 21H00. There was no mirror to see to shave, over or near the wash basin in shower/toilet. The Walkin shower does not have a door between the toilet and the shower, shower water overflows quite excessively into the toilet area causing feet to get wet unless it is dried up.
Love that there's so much to do for all ages.
I really wish it was a bit cheaper so we could stay longer but I am always only able to stay 2 nights.
The resort offers many activities for families, making it ideal. The houses are big enough. Convenient stores, restaurants and indoor heated pools, in addition to many activities
For a one-night stay, checking in at 15:00 and checking out at 10:00 makes your stay very short. Checking in at 14:00 and checking out at 11:00 or 12:00 would make a difference. A gravel road can be seen as an adventure for those who don't mind.
Breakfast was of good quality however the location was not a smooth drive with corrugations on the gravel road
A 6 sleeper should have 2 bathrooms.
The place is nice and refreshing
No activities on Fridays
The location , facilities and the entertainment
Hot water pool due to cold front at hand. Restaurant excellent and staff. Reception very good. Room cleaner very good and room very good.
The chalet was spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for a self catering holiday.
Was also told zip lining was fully booked yet we sat at the dam for 3 hours and not one person went on that zip line . The man at the boat house asked us if we can pay him but we won’t get a receipt because we were told to book by him but he said we were supposed to book for boat rides at reception. Clearly it was meant to be a bribe but we did not pay it . Please decide if you’ll want to offer services on a holiday or not . It’s unprofessional and ridiculous especially to risk such stupidity in a dam
We have been to Dikhololo a couple of times and every time you can see improvements. Management definitely looks well after the facility. There is also something to do for everyone which makes this a resort for every age. Everyone loved it. Thank you
Nothing
None of the facilities at the price
Check in on a Sunday is at 5 I’m paying for 17 hrs of which most is for sleeping and not facilities if I stay for one night. My room was also not ready at 5pm. The restaurant did not even have yoghurt or cereal for breakfast. Asked for fruit bowl was given canned fruit . Such a healthy option for a diabetic. The sleeper couch is not a sleeper couch it’s a couch . At 10 they wanted us out but I wasn’t given my room at 5 because house cleaning decided to clean at 5pm
The range of available activities
The room. Had only one bathroom downstairs
Everything!
30 min gravel road to get to the place
Friendly staff, fantastic facilities, cleanliness, game viewing
Slow service at restaurant
Everything was in one place
The breaks fast is not a baffy and they do not inform u in advance that u need to book activities most activities were fully booked
The nature and animals
The Sunday check-in time is way too late and there is no compensation or later check-out time on Monday. Reception said they will call us if a unit becomes available before 5pm which they didn't. Our stay was rushed!
Very nice location and lots to do for the grand children.
Nothing.
Everything was super excellent, my kids liked the play area, pools, breakfast was superb
We liked everything
Veel te doen voor kinderen
Alles is best wel eindje van elkaar dus fiets wel handig. Binnen zwembad zat heel veel chloor in dus dat was niet erg comfortabel.
Breakfast and dinner were excellent, waiters welcoming and patient.
The road is terrible, I don't think I will make another visit soon. Please try to make it better. Hotel rooms are all upstairs to an extend very disadvantageous to senior citizens, I couldn't go up as I wished even left my jacket in the wardrobe till today due to swollen knees. Hotel room 7.Can I have it back? Advise accordingly.
Everything was excellent except the food at the resturant was not nice at all
Resturant food
Beautiful, luxurious room.
Nothing.
I love the renovated houses. The entire resort is well kept. There are lots to do.
No wifi in the rooms?
The facility is great as there is so much to do. The chalet was very clean and comfortable. Very pleasant furnishings. Game drive was very good and the snacks at the end watching the sunset was awesome. Restaurant’s food was very good. A lovely place for family holidays.
The downside was the bad communication between staff and guests. The incorrect weekly activity information was handed out. The bookings for the game drive wasn’t well explained leading to confusion. The resort is allegedly “Cashless” yet the bingo was cash only. I was informed that I would need to draw money go to the shop and get R5 coins yet large notes were accepted by the bingo operator. One of our guests was asked to leave his bank card as security as the person managing the table tennis payments didn’t have change. The system of payments for activities needs to be revised as it causes much frustration for guests. One day the power was down. The outage happened at 2:00pm. Nothing was communicated to guests. By 6:00pm that evening it was still off with no certainty of when it would be reinstated. Please also advertise that guests should bring towels for the swimming pool. We requested additional towels but were told that the resort had no additional towels available. We managed to buy towels at the shop which in the morning had tags for R240.50 but were charged R399.00 in the afternoon and all the tags had been removed.
Friendly staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Good food served at the restaurant. We could see that families with children were having a great time with many available activities. Game viewing.
Skip the hotel and go for a bungalow. We booked late and had to stay in the hotel. Room H15 was right next to the extractor vent to the restaurant. It felt like being in the middle of a construction site with jackhammers going. :( It would be helpful if the game viewing routes had markers so one could locate oneself on the map.

Every
Everything
Plenty to keep you busy with
Noisy neigbours
The activities for kids are really good
The sheets were never changed for the 4 nights I was there which I find not so viable honestly
The Houses are very Comfortable, everything you need is there
Comms between reception and Sport Desk, waiting long for Put Put etc, equipment like Table Tennis balls are old
Great for kids, has everything on site :)
Lines at reception and the restaurant could be a little quicker
It’s a nice place to be at. A home away from home.
The gravel road to the place, Yhooo!!!Most of the activities required bookings before & at least if it was indicated on the booking sheet. Otherwise Dikhololo was great. Kids did enjoy.
Friendly and prompt service
Fine
Garden service ,too much noise in the morning
That there was no hot water to shower on the last day , in the morning I couldn't bath the water was cold
The service was good workers are so friendly. The activities especially for the kids they enjoyed themselves.
We didn't have a chance to play paintball because was fully booked. We know now that next time will book early.
All three bedrooms had their bathrooms that was very nice
Nothing
The location, being out in the serene bush
Unhappy staff that is not shy to express how they don’t get met half way by Dikhololo for going the extra mile for guests. We were literally forced by an elderly, disgruntled waitress to pay our bill while we were eating as she said in her words “you have to pay now because Dikhololo won’t pay me for waiting for you to finish your meal”. We were fortunately rescued by the manager on duty who said we could finish our meal before leaving.
The hot water pool and quad bikes
Our shower drain was blocked but luckily the maintenance team arrived very quickly to fix it.
Nothing
The racism.
Enough for all ages to do.
Unit C13 shower leaking on floor and water running down passage.
The apartment was beautiful, clean and very comfortable to live in. The design was modern and the kitchen was well stocked.
Everything
No WiFi in rooms
Upgraded facilities.
The pots and pans were difficult to clean. Would recommend non stick.
I booked and didn't know that there was no.breakfast included. I.requested to be moved to self catering but I was.not assisted
I loved the resort, the vibe and the friendly staff.
We had to pay to use the heated pool.
The amount of activites keeps your whole holiday busy it was amazing did 2 hours of quading, paintball, ziplining and paddeling was awesome.
there is nothing not to like
Everything was fantastic
The facilities in general
The fact that the electricity had to be purchased on a daily base
The activists and the scenery
Nothing
The property was ideal for the five of us and the activities were great, from mini-golf and kayaking to the zip-wire and heated pool. Food was delicious and staff were super friendly.
It would have been good if the shop was re-stocked with meat more often, but that wasn't the end of the world!
I enjoyed the pool, the restaurant friendly stuff and activities super
The gravel road to get that side was too much for me
Everything, the activities, the staff is lovely and it’s an amazing place
The road to get there (gravel road)
The facility and the animals
The cleaning staff for our unit was not able to clean to our expectations
The Bikes Shooting rage
That they gave us a house closer to reception...we wanted to be in the Bush so we can expeince wild like nicely
The fact that its far away from everything in the quiet peaceful bushes, staff members were very friendly and welcoming, overall we had a great stay and the resort had many activities though we had to pay for them. I would surely recommend it , my family and I had a great weekend in the resort
Our two bedroom chalet had no privacy from the neighbours, no soundproof we could hear noise from the other sides, heated pool chemicals were too strong on the eyes. Gravel road to the resort was a bit challenging with a private car
A lot of spiders, encounter with a snake ,monkeys!!
Staff were incredible and very friendly. Safe and lots to do
Only gripe was the poor lighting in the chalet
Everything was good
The road to get there is terrible,
The activities
The gravel road Braai that only accomodate whites
We used the 4 Bedroom Chalet , I think they should update booking.com with the Chalet current look . It looked better that the images on the platform , family was so impressed with this place . Maybe its the chalet that we were given :) , so great and spacious , And the kids enjoyed Uncle MAX the tortoise , they still talking about that
Restaurant food not that great , we didn't do buffet , maybe that is better but other things were just okay , we mostly cooked , the road to there , almost 10km gravel bumpy road , noooot ideal yeyyy prepare for that

The service was 👌
The smell in the fridge
Lots of great activities for the kids
Room space and noise from neighbours late at night while trying to sleep. The walls separating our units were very thin and we could hear the neighbours TV late at night.
It is a beautiful place
Nothing
The room was a total disappointment, no privacy at all, with very old furniture. It was not what was advertised. Housekeeping knocked on my door demanding to clean because they wanted to knock off when they cleaned it was not even clean you could see that it was a rushed job. The road is very very bad you could have a breakdown in the middle of the bush. Total waste of my money i would never recommend it to any of my friends and family.
Heated pool the best
Heard every noise of the neighbors
The activities
I did'nt like that on the day we where going to leave our cooking stove was suddenly tripping the electricity we could'nt have breakfast and we still had enough time before we where meant to leave.
Breakfast very nice as well as location
Gravel road for 14 km
The facility is child friend
Didn't get an opportunity to do most rides because they were fully booked
Setting, facilities, accomodation
The walls are very thin and the sound travels between the units that are attached. We could hear everything next door. like they were next to us washing dishes, talking, walking up and down the stairs.
Everything
Na
On arrival we saw a giraffe! Highlight of our whole trip was seeing giraffes everyday! Staff is super friendly. Restaurant staff amazing and food was good. Everyday there is different kinds of activities to do for all ages.
It's not a dislike is more a "we wish we knew exactly how our room would have look like" just for planning purposes. On the photos it showed we had a small kitchen and bathroom apart from the room when we got there it looked much different than the photos. Overall we love it - we just slept there so did not make a difference.
They look new and refreshing
The cleaning part: under the sofa was not clean and when you travel with kids they throw staff everywhere then boom under the sofa🙃

Restaurant is very slow some days and their feta cheese was rancid.
There's a gentleman who works at the heated pool section renting out game equipment .... He made our stay more enjoyable he was kind and was willing to assist. The service Khumo and Berlinda provided was exceptional along with some of the guys from the leap adventures.
had to beg for assistance from the restaurant when you get assisted you'll have to follow up with whether you were assisted or not 1/10 service. I'm not saying there's racism but you're assisted quicker if you're of a certain skin colour. The drive up here is horrible
