Reviewed Apr 27, 2026Rootz Resort Dehradun offers a peaceful stay with stunning mountain and valley views, especially from the rooftop café. I found the food delicious, the rooms spacious, clean, and well-maintained, and the staff friendly and attentive. I visited with my family and we had a very comfortable and relaxing experience, making it a great place to enjoy quality time together in a scenic setting.

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026Breakfast was not part of the package. Was not able to eat breakfast at the hotel as the breakfast timings were from 9 am and we had to leave hotel by 8 am for onward journey.
Food and room service was average. Washroom not well maintained. There was lot of disturbance during night time from other guests and hotel staff was not able to control the nuisance created by other guests inspite of multiple requests. Location is also ok not great. Room facility is average as compared to the rates charged.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026The breakfast was really delicious and everything was perfect. The morning view was absolutely beautiful the mountains and the sunrise made the place feel even more special. Loved it .everything was very clean. The staff was polite and helpful. The resort has great ventilation and a beautiful view of the mountains and sunrise. Such a peaceful place. Would love to visit again

Reviewed Mar 21, 2025The Resort is closed to city and dehradun airport as well, the rooms are spacious and have all the amenities and facilities like AC , wifi , parking, dental kit and bath rope. There is scenic roop top cafe and restaurant that has delicious cousins and the staff is very cooperative and helpful. The best part is the Resort is in the rishikesh and mussoorie road and close to dehradun cricket stadium raipur. It is surrounded by the mountains and there is valley view in the front. Would highly recommend for peaceful and long stays.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2024Its a lovely hostel in a quiet locality on a small mountain. The property is new and very clean and well maintained. Dorms are quiet with all amenities and washrooms are clean and hygienic with hot and cold water. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and went beyond their charter to help. The cafe has a good menu and the food was tasty with good portions. I'd definitely come back for a stay and recommend this hostel to my friends.
