A perfect location right by the fjord with private access for a relaxing swim. A well appointed cabin with kitchen and stunning lounge with panoramic views across the fjord. There is also an additional outbuilding which has a fantastic open fireplace; perfect for a meal or a relaxing drink in the evening. There is a nice garden area too, with plenty of outdoor seating to take in the stunning views.

The instructions of how to get there are a little vague as the cabin is at the end of a rural residential area which has a few twist and turns with little signage, so it's not that obvious you've found the right place. I think perhaps the information is written retrospectively by a person who knows where it is! But that is my only suggestion as you certainly won't regret finding it.

Good view (if you don't mind the insects outside)

- Squeaky floors. - Low ceiling. - You have to pass by the bathroom to get into the bedroom (very bad & weird design). - The sink has a very slow drainage. - The location is very far (+1 hr walk in a highway) from any kind of shops with no means of public transportation so you must have a car, just something to keep in mind. - The host is very late to reply and not helpful.

I found this place to be a place of pure beauty. An oasis of tranquility and beauty, a place that inspires peace and tranquility.

Fully equipped cottage with total privacy and a little beach of its own. Incredible place, a little piece of heaven on earth, the house couldn’t be more cute and the view just stunning!!!

A microwave could come in handy at times

Beautiful and calm place, private beach, fireplace, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom.

Wonderful setting. Cabin was very comfortable with all the modern conveniences. Kitchen well stocked. Many nice touches such as candles on the dining table and a vase of flowers.

A dish drying rack would have been useful.

Sleeping room has no heating system, and should go thru toilet to get in sleeping room

Great little cottage on the shores of the Fjord. Likely 100+ years old with lots of charm. Great outdoor sitting area with a fireplace. Really enjoyed staying there, would have liked to spend an extra day or two

The bedroom was a bit small, but the rest of the house made up for it.

Amazing location, traditional and magical cabin and outdoors. Loved every second of it. Perfect for those looking for beauty, serenity, and simplicity.

The only thing standing between this place and a 10 is the bed. A bit small and not too comfy, especially for those with sensitive backs. Highly recommend upgrading it. Other than that - sheer perfection

The location was fantastic. The house & grillhus were authentic Norwegian but my partner was a little tall for the lower ceilings & beams! Overall, everything was provided and we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. Thank you

The bedroom was sparsely furnished & the bed a little small for us - were used to a much larger bed.

The authenticity, simplicity, location, the fruit and berry trees on the property, the fire. Everything!

Amazing place and great location for Loen, Lovatnet Lake, etc. Had a swim in the fjord before breakfast :)
