Åsebua - Renovated rorbu with seaview

A very cozy cabin located right on the edge of the Lofoten Islands. A rather fierce storm caught us during our stay, forcing us to spend an entire day indoors, and we were genuinely glad it happened in this exact place. The cabin is warm and spacious, the kitchen is sufficiently equipped, and having both a TV and a washing machine - complete with provided detergent - was a fantastic touch. The beds are comfortable, and the heated bathroom floors were much appreciated. The interior is full of charming details, from wall art to decorative pom-poms, giving the space an exceptionally homey feel. The location is excellent: very close to Å, the Reinebringen stairs, and the ferry.

The only minor downside was that firewood for the fireplace comes at an extra charge. It felt a bit unusual, though perhaps that is standard practice around here.

Siamo una famiglia di 4 persone e qui ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Autentico Rorbuer, accogliente, pulito bene attrezzato. A pochi km dall' attracco del traghetto che arriva a Moskenes. Lo consiglio a tutti coloro che cercano autenticità e tranquillità. La vista sul mare rende la casa ancora più suggestiva. Ci è dispiaciuto venire via....

La taille du logement, le confort du salon/cuisine, les équipements de la cuisine, les équipements (lave-vaisselle, lave-linge), les jeux disponibles, les armoires de rangement, la vue sur la mer, la facilité pour prendre les clefs, les activités à proximité (randonnée, musée, kayak, supermarchés, etc)

Le gite était super. Pour parfaire, il manquait une 2ème lampe de chevet au lit double et le pommeau ne tient pas très bien dans la douche. Des consignes de tri des déchets seraient bienvenues également (tout jeter dans la même poubelle me parait incompréhensible). L'escalier pour la chambre de l'étage est un peu raide, mais il y a 5 lits disponibles au rez-de-chaussée-de-chaussée.

Just a suggestion to add a reading light in the living room.

This was a delightful cabin to stay in - a beautiful kitchen/sitting area with comfortable sofa and well equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had everything we needed - including a washing machine which we made full use of! There were just a few things which prevented us giving a 10 which we’ve messaged the property separately about.

Directions to property could have been clearer.

A good cabin with every thing you need in a great location.

You could put a rubber net under the bathroom rug so it wouldent slide on the floor tiles.

We, a couple from Germany, had a lovely stay of one week in early March 2024 on the Lofoton Island not only because of the great weather, spectacular landscape and awesome Aurora sightings but also due to the Lenabua cabin. Lenabua is lovely located in the small and quite town Tind and very good base for exploring the greater area of Reine. The cabin was very clean, nicley renovated and had a fully equipped kitchen. The living room area with its fantastic view into the bay and its wood fireplace was especially cosy and was our favorit place to cook and eat, relax and come down from all the new impressions.

However, Lenabua had also some minor downsides, for example the funny smell at the begining of our stay which was probably due to the fact that the cabin is an old renovated cabin and was not used prior to our visit (and therefore the bedrooms were a bit cold), but the smell got less and less with each day we stayed. The bedroom was quite small and there were nothing to store clothes except for some hangers, therefore we used the beds of second bedroom (There was also not much space to store clothes in cupboards etc.). We are not sure if we would recommend Lenabua for more than two persons. The bedroom had also a faulty power outlet so that the bedside lamp could not be used. In the living room / kitchen we found that the lightning at the kitchen bench could be improved, some additional lights underneath the cubboards would help with that.
