Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Vi havde lejligheden på første sal, som absolut havde den bedste udsigt over søen og fjeldet. Jeg undrer mig over at den smukke udsigt ikke er vist på billederne. Skøn terrasse og adgang til spa og sauna. Virkelig veludstyret køkken. Der er kommet nye panorama vinduer i siden billedet blev taget til Booking.com.
Lille soveværelse, så sengen var ikke særlig bred.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026En fin liten hytte med utsikt over fjorden og fjellene. Hytten føles som ny, med fullt utstyrt kjøkken og et godt bad. Behagelig seng og god sitteplass i stua.
Mangler gardiner på kritiske steder: døra ved senga har ingen, og stuvindu er halvveis dekket. Vinduene vender ut mot gangvei og fellesterrasse – lite privat. Serviset kunne også være større, særlig dype skåler.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026A ház nagyon modern, jól felszerelt, a kilátás gyönyörű. Nagyon tiszta volt minden. Az összes kérdésre azonnali választ és segítséget kaptam. Szauna, és jacuzzi is rendelkezésre áll terítés nélkül. Az ágy nagyon kényelmes, a nappali és a fürdő tágas.
A feljutás motorral nagyon nehézkes, murvával felszórt földút, meredek szerpentin.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026The place is incredible. The view is priceless. We absolutely loved it. Such a nice newly renovated cozy cottage with a stunning view. The house has two apartments. one on the upper floor and second on the ground. The common sitting area, sauna and jacozi is shared so keep that in mind and there is an issue of privacy when you are using the jacozi. The house has all the basic stuff you need. A nice kitchen with microwave and oven nd basic utensils. One of the best places to spend time in norway. Eidfjord is center district is 5 min drive away. The parking to edifjord sand beach and walking trail along the river is also nearby next to eidfjord center. People have mentioned about parking. Yes it is narrow area and parking can be challenging but I was able to park my SUV without a problem although 360 camera made a huge difference. Otherwise you may need help from someone outside to guide the car. but again it is not impossible requires some careful driving.
There is nothing to dislike but I have a few suggestion for the owner. 1. On booking.com there is no way to tell which apartment you are booking. Mark the upper and lower one separately and put their pictures. Right now it looks like you are booking one full cottage but it is not clear that you ll have a neighbor. 2. The window curtains are very thin and do not stop light at all. It is impossible to get proper sleep without a sleep mask. Please get some thick good quality curtains. 3. There is no indication outside the jacozi area that it is in use. There should be some light or a sign indicating that the jacozi is in use as there is no privacy from the yard. 4. No place to put shower gel or shampoo or anything in the shower area. 5. Would be nice to have a clothes hanging hook in the bathroom as well.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Uitzicht fantastisch! Hadden appartement op de 1e verdieping. Alles nieuw, sfeervol ingericht en het uitzicht vanaf de woonkamer en slaapkamer onbeschrijfelijk mooi. De sauna en bubbelbad helemaal relaxed.
Dat ik er maar 1 nachtje bleef. Had zo graag willen blijven, maar wist niet van te voren dat het zo fijn zou zijn.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026La posizione stupenda con una vista meravigliosa sul lago. La casa è ristrutturata dotata di cucina grande e con tutto a disposizione anche la lavastoviglie. Bagno e doccia comodi e puliti. All’esterno anche una vasca idromassaggio e una sauna a disposizione di tutti e due gli alloggi e di una zona con i divanetti e dei tavoli molto gradevole. Parcheggio gratuito a fianco alla casa.
La camera da letto ha una sola finestra con la tapparella mentre l’altra ha una tenda bianca che fa passare la luce ed essendo due vetrate molto grandi alle 4 c’è luce piena. Non ci sono zanzariere e in casa faceva molto caldo ma non potendo aprire le finestre (entra ogni tipo di insetto) non abbiamo dormito per il caldo. Il letto è piccolo piccolo per due persone siamo stati stretti e purtroppo i cuscini sono i peggiori con cui ho dormito qui in Norvegia. Ultima cosa segnalo che la strada per arrivare è sterrata, stretta e molto ripida.

Litt klaustrofobisk å parkere. Bratt grusvei med hårnålssvinger og litt smal adkomst til adressen. Lytt mellom leilighetene men ingen bråkte så det gikk fint.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026La casa es excepcional. Si buscas total tranquilidad y una inmersión absoluta en la forma de vida del país, este es el lugar ideal. Además, pudimos disfrutar del spa y la sauna, lo cual fue un auténtico lujo y un puntazo para relajarse.
Al estar situada en la ladera de la montaña, el acceso no es fácil aunque es un trayecto muy corto. Es una carretera de montaña, por lo que recomendamos llevar todo lo necesario desde el primer momento; si te olvidas de algo, da bastante pereza tener que bajar de nuevo al pueblo a comprar.

The drive up there is adventurous and the car shouldn‘t be lowered too much, but we didn‘t have any issues with that. Jan-Ole provided helpful clear infos about check-in. The apartment was very clean, everything you need is there, incl. freezer & dishwasher. We can definitely recommend staying there!
Room temp was quite high and we weren‘t able to figure out the control, but by ventilating with windows and the door it was manageable for one night. At least you‘re definitely not freezing 😅

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026De weg er naar toe was goed te doen. Ook met een ID4 konden we goed parkeren. Het "complex" bestaat uit twee appartementen met een derde ruimte met een jacuzzi en sauna die vrij te gebruiken zijn. Wij hadden de benedenverdieping: Een mooi en gezellig appartement. Het is met veel zorg ingericht. Er waren ruim voldoende handdoeken, wc- papier en een fijne vloerverwarming..Vanuit de bank keek je mooi uit over het water en de bergwand/fjord. Wel is het wat gehorig maar dat vonden wij geen probleem. Het is aan te raden een slaapmasker mee te nemen want de gordijnen laten veel licht door wat overigens veel appartementen in Noorwegen lijken te hebben. Al met al vonden wij het een fijne plek en goede uitvalsbasis om leuke dingen te doen.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026It’s a lovely cosy apartment in an isolated lovely location overlooking the water and mountains. Very peaceful. Had a fully functioning kitchen and although we didn’t use it, a sauna and spa which I know others will enjoy.
It was advertised as a one bedroom apartment, but in fact is a studio. The bed is not in a separate room. For one night this wasn’t an issue, but we normally never book studios, preferring a seperate bedroom. While we were there, the TV was not working - no sound- and there was no instruction about wifi. You don’t tour Norway for the TV or wifi, but when I sent a message asking about this the response did not come through until the next day, after we left. We enjoyed this place and would recommend it providing it is advertised accurately and the minor details attended to.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Apartment, mit fantastischer Aussicht. Es war alles vorhanden was wir benötigten und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, daher waren wir froh über so ruhige Mitmieter unter uns. Auch der Außenbereich ist sehr hübsch gestaltet und es gibt eine Sauna, die wir allerdings nicht genutzt haben.
Mit einem etwas tieferen und längeren Auto, in unserem Fall VW ID.7, war es uns leider nicht möglich ohne aufzusetzen in die Einfahrt und zur vorgesehenen Parkmöglichkeit zu gelangen. Wir mussten uns daher nach Absprache in eine Ausweichbucht entlang der Straße quetschen (wo aufgrund der engen Zufahrtstraße ohne die Bucht keine 2 Autos aneinander vorbeikommen), welches sowohl für andere Anwohner, als auch für uns keine optimale Lösung war. Vielleicht könnte man die Einfahrt noch irgendwie optimieren. Ansonsten war alles prima :)

Very nice snd fast communication with the stuff/ owner. Easy „self check-in" Easy accesible from Eidfjord (5 min drive, last part goes high up but on a good road). Cute sauna with a little window offering fjord views We highly recommend this place!

Reviewed May 23, 2026Le prioritaire m’a contacté quelques heures avant mon arrivée pour m’indiquer qu’il y avait une « incompréhension » et que le logement que j’avais réservé (en haut sur la photo) n’était plus disponible. Nous avons été mis devant le fait accompli sans pouvoir faire autrement et sans plus d’explications. Le propriétaire nous a assuré que le deuxième logement (en bas sur la photo) était équivalent. Ceci était totalement faux puisqu’il était en sous sol avec une vue largement moins dégagée, beaucoup moins lumineux, pas de fenêtre dans la cuisine, la chambre est dans le salon avec peu de rideaux (intimité limitée). Le sauna et la baignoire spa sont partagés dans un autre bâtiment. Quand nous avons voulu y accéder il n’y avait plus d’électricité (le sauna ne fonctionnait pas et il n’y avait plus de lumière). Certains équipements essentiels ne sont pas disponibles (ex : savon pour les mains). Le propriétaire n’a répondu que le lendemain quand nous lui avons fait part des problèmes que nous rencontrions. Nous avons été très déçus. Un tout faux de A à Z, une première pour nous. L’endroit est très beau malgré tout.

Reviewed Oct 29, 2024The house is located in an amazing valley close by the fjord. In the morning you can enjoy a stunning view on the landscape and the surrounding nature. The apartment is modern inside and the space is perfect for a couple. We decided to have dinner at home and the kitchen was fantastically equipped.
The communication with the host was not the best: until the last minute we didn’t know how to enter the house and the main indications. Additionally, the sauna that was advertised among the facilities, was not available.
