Båtsmansstugorna

Very cool to have the opportunity to stay in one of these historic cottages. We liked the period decor and everything was very clean and the location cannot be beaten.

We booked “Room with private bathroom “ which turned out to be false, our room had a private toilet but the showering facilities (which were quite nice) were in an adjacent building. Also we never found the WiFi password.

Very quaint old houses in a quiet area of town. The cafe on site was lovely.

Bra läge och fina stugor och fräscha toaletter

När vi kom dit så var boendet inte städat skräp överallt, smutsigt i sängen och skräpigt på golvet. Vi pratade med personalen som sa till oss att gå en sväng på stan så skulle dom skicka SMS när det var klart, efter 2 timmar så skrev vi och då hade det blivit klart fast dom skulle skriva.

Heel charmant oud bootmanshuisje. Je waant je in een andere tijd. Superervaring! Heel vriendelijke hosts. Heel proper en net.

Koslig hytte og atmosfære. Hyggelig og sentralt. Fine toalettfasiliteter.

En upplevelse som jag kommer ha med mig i livet. Så gulligt och charmigt. Som att leva i en annan tid.

Tråkigt att resturangen var stängd på söndagen när vi kom.

Very attractive and quaint cottages that reflects the architectural history of the place, and even with its interior design. It's a well-kept, very clean, and just a 5 minute walking distance to the city center. The staff are also amazing.

It would have been better if they serve breakfast.

We arrive late on a sunday and the manager still took the time to give us a tour and explain about the history of the place. The restaurant was unfortunatly closed and we stayed only one night, but we loved the place, it is peaceful and at the same time right in the city (less than 10min walk to the nearest grocery store to plan your breakfast). We slept very well and the facilities were cleaned and equipped with all you need.

It’s a one of a kind place built in 1740 or so. Amazing to look around and see the architecture and interior details. But the beds are new and the sheets hang out to dry in the sunshine. The shower and bathrooms smell great and are freshly cleaned. I will try to stay there every time I go. Can’t wait to check out the tiny restaurant at the property.

I just needed a coffee option in the morning onsite. But it was easily remedied since the property is located downtown. But Sunday is a challenge when things are closed.

This hotel is first class hostel, I would say. Shared bathroom, key left in the door for you upon arrival, no reception to be found after 15 o'clock. But the experience, in these small fishermen cottages and area is just extraordinary! Highly recommend it for both couples and families. My children and I felt like we stepped straight into an Astrid Lindgren novel and I could see the romantic scene it was for the couples staying at the time. Book it and hope for good weather!

Fridge could have been bigger. Kitchen amenities could have been better. We needed bowls for breakfast but had none.
