Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Spokój, cisza, klimat który albo się polubi albo nie. Apartament zgodny ze zdjęciami. Sprzęty sprawne. Wszystkie instrukcje zameldowania dostaliśmy mailowo.
Wewnętrzny dziedziniec był bardzo mocno oświetlony całą noc.

Very dirty. Full of mosquitos. We were bitten by mosquitos. Couldn't sleep at all. Lack of nets in the windows. Generally the vila has very low maintenance as well as the facilities in it. This is not a 4 star facility!!! Avoid going there until the place is brought to à decent condition. The photos on booking.com do not tell you the true story. The place is absolutely unpleasant to stay in its current condition!

אין מזגן ואפילו לא מאוורר!!!!!. בקיץ חם מאד. אין קשר כלל עם המארח. אין ארוחת בוקר. החדר גבוה וללא מעלית.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Nadherne miesto pod horami Rax len 150 km od Bratislavy. Nadherny apartman, moznost sedenia pri zurciacom, priezracnom potoku na tichom mieste v tieni, ticha oblast. Vela moznosti na nadherne prechadzky a skvelu turistiku v mestecku, ktore dycha historiou.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Wunderschönes altes Haus, schön hergerichtet mit tollem Garten. Preis-Leistung außergewöhnlich (was aber glaube ich daran liegt, dass noch umgebaut wird). Tolle Möglichkeit den Rufbus zu nutzen, wenn man ohne Auto unterwegs ist - viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Gegend. Freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Kontakt, wenn auch nicht persönlich.
Küche ist zwar gut mit Geschirr ausgestattet, zum Kochen müsste man jedoch alles (Gewürze, Öl, etc.) selbst mitbringen. Ein paar Basics wären nett!

Betten waren mit Federkernmatratzen , die man auch gespürt hat. Betten und Polster nicht bequem. Kaffeemaschine mit Kapseln hat nicht funktioniert.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026The house is beautiful in a delightful setting and apartment is nicely renovated. The shuttle is excellent and can be contacted using Whatsapp (do this in advance). The peace and quiet (apart from renovations going on upstairs!) and a very helpful host when we met him. The walks nearby are great and the cable car is not far.
It would have been good to have the shuttle organised to pick us up from station. Luckily it was there for someone else and we hitched a ride. The host did not respond to my inquiry about this.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026The fin-de-siecle mansion is restored with passion and respectful taste. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished. The host is kind and helpful; friendly towards families / children. We spent a really pleasant few days there. The mansion is close to the spa town of Reichenau, Semmering Pass, the Falkenstein wall and caves. It's right next to Rax Brau, the Rax cable car and the beautiful dramatic Höllental valley carved by Schwarza river between the Schneeberg and Rax massives. Just ten to fifteen minutes by car, there are quiet river beaches and dramatic rocky ridges with scrambling and via ferrata routes.

Wenn beim Fensteröffnen im Bad eine mumifizierte Fledermaus entgegen fällt wirkt es nicht einladend! Die Dusche im Bad ist überraschend gestaltet, aber man kommt damit zurecht. Zumindest ein Schrankteil in den Schlafräumen sollte es ermöglichen, Bügel mit entsprechender Kleidung aufzuhängen.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Ein grundsätzlich tolles Haus, wenn der Pächter sich entscheiden könnte, ob er Schloss oder Jugendherberge sein möchte. Wunderbarer Park, ein Steg am Fluss, Sauna, alles wäre angerichtet, wenn man sich nur ein wenig Mühe geben würde.
Wir hatte eine eigene Etage mit 3 Zimmern, Küche, einem Bad und einem Fernsehzimmer. In der Küche stand eine Nespressomaschine, Kapseln hingegen gab es keine. Im Bad, wo kaputte Armaturen schon bessere Zeiten gesehen haben, war nicht einmal ein Duschgel, die Fenstergriffe nach innen waren abmontiert, dafür hat ein Baustellen Scheinwerfer rund um die Uhr geleuchtet.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Great location, historical place and a very comfortable apartment. We loved the surroundings. Hiking routes within walking distance. Take a football with you for your kids as there is a goal on site. Nice area to grill as well. I believe we will come back some time!

Reviewed May 2, 2026Een hele bijzondere locatie, het Herrnhof is prachtig oud herenhuis, gelegen met een mooie tuin omringt door de bergen. De accomodatie, wij sliepen in Richard, was groot, goed onderhouden en schoon. De bedden en douche waren erg comfortabel. Vanuit de accommodatie beginnen mooie wandelroutes. Het contact met Johannes was super. Wij waren met openbaar vervoer, maar de Ruf Bus heeft ons vanuit het huis overal naartoe gebracht.
Er waren wat verbouwingen aan de gang toen wij er waren. Niet heel erg maar soms wat luid.

Cleanliness needs a big improvement, spiderwebs, spiders in the room, kitchenware needs update, no pan. Dust under the sofa., mosquito net is needed in the living room.

Reviewed Jan 9, 2026Amazing place (it was beautiful). Really comfortable beds. Full kitchen with everything you need. It was December and outside was cold with snow, but the rooms were warm. Really close to the Seilbahn and to the hike.
The only thing I could say is that the toilet has no ventilation. So… well if there’s an unpleasant smell, it will stay there.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2025Чудове місце, залишило по собі найкращі емоції. Локація просто казкова, красива будівля, можна гуляти по великому подвір'ю або обрати хайкінгову лісову стежину поряд. Саме помешкання досить комфортне, робоча кухня на якій ми готували, досить обладнана, з посудомийкою машиною та духовкою. Комфортні ліжка, просторі приміщення
Варто попрацювати над чистотою, та обладнати двері душу та туалетної кімнати хоча б елементарними замками.

Reviewed Nov 24, 2025Schönes großes Appartement in historischem Ambiente mit sehr bequemen "Prinzessinnen-Bett" und guter Heizung (draußen hatte es Minusgrade). Und die große Küche bietet sämtliche Geräte inkl. Nespresso-Maschine und großem Esstisch (da wir nur eine Nacht da waren, haben wir sie nicht benützt). Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war von Anfang an perfekt und 2 kleine Probleme wurden sofort behoben. Somit alles bestens!
Nichts - außer vielleicht das Bad: es ist rel. klein und schmal und hat daher keinen Platz für eine eigene Duschkabine. Wenn also zuvor geduscht wurde, muss man zum Zähneputzen und WC-Besuch über die feuchten Fliesen gehen. Daher am besten Flip-Flops mitnehmen ;-)

Wonderfully located in a grand park in the beautiful Schwarza Valley just below the Rax, the park being accessible for all sorts of activities. Super dog-friendly; A very helpful, flexible and friendly host (great recommendations on local amenities!). Nice that coffee and some food basics were in stock!
Kitchen ware a bit eclectic - but that's a trifle and not without its own charme.
