Reviewed Sep 14, 2026origineel omgebouwd zuivelfabriek. Veel oude details behouden, en wel alle comfort. App.5 zeemeer ruim, echt een feest. Lekker ontbijt wordt gebracht. Ideaal gelegen voor bezoek Noord Nederland, zeker voor vogelspotters op wadden en broeken.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Sehr schön ausgestattet, alte Milchfabrik, sehr industrielle Look, aber alles sehr schön gemacht. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gute Parking Möglichkeit am Ort. Küche gut ausgestattet um selber Essen zu kochen.
Wir hatten nichts negatives an zu merken.

Die unteren Apartments haben uns nicht gefallen , kein Fenster zum Öffnen und sehr dunkel . Beim ersten Mal dort hatten wir oben unser Apartments da war es sehr schön .

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Ein schöner Ort für Familien mit Kindern. Die vielen Spielmöglichkeiten und der gesamte Aussenraum ist sehr liebevoll ausgestattet. In der Wohnung gab es alles, was wir brauchten. Die Lage ist auch nett - nicht weit weg vom Deich, gut für Tagesausflüge in die Umgebung.
Ein bisschen hellhörig ist es, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Für Familien interessant zu wissen: In unserem Apartment (10) gab es kein abgeschlossenes Elternschlafzimmer, man schlief über dem Wohnzimmer.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Absolute traumlage des Komplexes. Hier findet man Ruhe und kann abschalten. Für Kinder das absolute Paradies. Es stehen diverse Fahrräder, Laufräder Gokarts für Kids kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Vor dem Haus ein kleiner Spielplatz/Trampolin, im Gebäude Sportmöglickeiten wie Ringe, Tischtennis und Dart. Dazu ein Werkstattraum für die Kleinen zum nageln, sägen und basteln. Hinter der Anlage hat man Zugang zu einem Kanal, auf dem man mit dem SUP Touren kann. Hierzu stehen auch drei SUP kostenlos zur Verfügung. Die Wohnung war super in das alte Fabrikgebäude integriert und sehr geräumig. Jedes Zimmer, bis auf Dusche/Toilette ist mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Die Küche hat alles was man benötigt. Matratzen und Bettwäsche/Decken/Kissen in top Qualität. Von der Unterkunft aus, kann man tolle Tagesausflüge zum Meer machen (Entfernung ca. 6km) oder eine der davorliegenden Inseln besuchen. Unsere absolute Empfehlung!!!

There are a number of appliances missing in the apartments: no toaster, no hair dryer, no microwave, no TV set to stream on either. The sofas are really uncomfortable to sit on. We paid about 250 Euro/ day, but were asked to help clean the apartment at the end of our stay: strip the beds, empty the dishwasher, take out all the trash. No a big deal, but for this price I didn't expect to have to strip my own bed.

We stay in apartment nr 1 where you have to climb the ladder (quite steep) to reach your bed - we were well aware of that but one has to be careful and it's not the most practical for your wardrobe - despite the ingenious "lift" solution. 😉

Reviewed Sep 12, 2025Super freundliche Mitarbeiter /-innen, Problem Zimmer wurde von Jelli schnell gelöst. Zufriedenheit der Gäste steht dort an oberster Stelle. Vorhandener Spieleraum der auch älteren Leuten viel Spaß macht. Schöne ruhige Lage und gute Ausgangsposition für Radtouren. Perfekt zur Entspannung. 4 Kostenlose E-Ladesäulen vorhanden.
Das über Booking gebuchte Deluxe Zimmer war kein Deluxe Zimmer sondern die Melkkammer. Rustikal und mit einem gewissen Charme, aber als Gast der über Booking ein Deluxe-Zimmer bucht sieht man nicht welche Appartementnummer es ist. Ist für einen Kurzaufenthalt geeignet. Aber wenn man ein Deluxe-Zimmer bucht kommt man auch mit anderen Erwartungen an. Also vielleicht mal überdenken ob man das Zimmer nicht einfach unter Melkkammer bei Booking einstellt.

Een aandachtspunt, wij zaten in appartement 1, was de steile trap naar de plek waar het bed stond. Deze trap is niet makkelijk toegankelijk en zeker niet voor iedereen toegankelijk.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2025Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Die offene Küche war gut ausgestattet, man konnte bequem kochen und war mitten im Geschehen. Mir habe die Fahrräder und die problemlose Nutzung gut gefallen. Meinen Töchtern die Subs. Man hat viel Platz!
Es war etwas sehr nüchtern eingerichtet, in der Toilette gab es zum Beispiel keinen Spiegel und im Wohnraum keinen Wandschmuck. Aber das ist sicher Teil des Styles! Was ich gar nicht angenehm fand, waren die vielen Spinnweben draußen im Hof und auch an der Treppe zu den Schlafzimmern. Und es gab wenig Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeiten für die Badutensilien und die Kleidung. Aber wir waren auch zwei Wochen dort und hatten dementsprechend viel dabei. Die anderen Wohnungen waren oft eher kürzer vermietet. Diese Wechsel bringen etwas Unruhe. Dafür ist auch immer etwas los.

Very friendly staff, fresh breakfast, and great in every detail from lighting to how to serve the breakfast. Free bikes and books, and games - also carts and sports for kids (which can end up a bit noisy, just as a warning).
The iPad is hard to use for non-Apple users, especially not as a replacement for a TV - but you don't want to waste your time here like this anyway. This is a great stay for experience calm and peace and just enjoying design, nature and eventually reading a book.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2023A fabulous place to stay! The apartment is huge and fully equipped. Even a warm welcome package with coffee/tea/coffee creamer/ sugar was available. The environment is stunning and the welcome by Jellie very warm. We’ll be back for sure.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2023We liked absolutely everything about the accomodation. Everytime we travel we try to find something really special, some place that feels like home (and no 5* hotel can do that). At Suvelfabryk we knew from the very first second that we have found such place. Unusual design, cozy interiors, incredible yet calm views from the windows, lots to do when its rainy outside. The staff was totally helpful and we really felt like we would come to visit our family.
