Der Gastgeber Younnes war sehr nett und hat sogar nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung bei mir ist. Die Lage war super, direkt hinter der Medina. Rund herum hat es diverse kleine Geschäfte und auch Gemüse und Obst Stände ganz in der Nähe.

Das Einzige, was ich bemängeln könnte ist die Ausstattung. Es hat was man braucht, aber z.B. Pfannenwender fehlen komplett. Da ich jeden Tag Frühstück gemacht habe, hat das schon gefehlt. Es könnte noch etwas mehr Liebe in die Details gesteckt werden ;-)

The owner contacted me via WhatsApp before my arrival to make sure everything went smoothly. In my case, I was able to check in early, and she was kind enough to accommodate that request. The co-owner, Younous, who handed over the keys, was a very friendly, charming, and helpful person. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay: it was not too hot inside, had a TV, some basic kitchen utensils, and towels were provided. The twin bed was comfortable, and there were two additional beds, making it suitable for a family of four. It may not be at the same standard as modern European apartments, but for Morocco it feels quite modern and well-maintained. In terms of value for money, it is an excellent choice. The location is convenient, and if you enjoy hearing the call to prayer from nearby mosques, you’ll probably appreciate the atmosphere even more. :)

Of course, there are still a few things that could be improved to reach the standards of some European accommodations. However, the owner is genuinely open to feedback, takes suggestions seriously, and is continuously looking for ways to improve the guest experience.

Un apartament mic și cochet la doi pași de medina. Dormitorul, mai ales, este foarte frumos! Am parcat fără probleme chiar în fața clădirii. Am rezervat în ultimul moment și gazda a apărut rapid ca să ne primească în apartament. Are dotări esențiale în mica bucătărie.

Ar fi fost plăcut să fi avut măcar puțin ceai și cafea pentru dimineața..... Apartamentul nu este încălzit in zilele reci din ianuarie, gazda a fost totuși amabil și ne-a adus o aerotermă care a mai încălzit un pic dormitorul.

The location of the appartement is great; close to a mosque and multiple shops (swika). The Medina and the beach are also at walking distance about 10-15min. We didn't move our car at all.

Lack of aeration.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Essaouira! The location was perfect — just a short walk to the Medina, restaurants, and the beach, which made exploring the city easy and enjoyable. We felt completely safe in the area and appreciated how peaceful it was. The apartment had all the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay, and the host was incredibly helpful and responsive. Overall, it was a great value for the price — highly recommend for anyone visiting Essaouira!

Perfectly clean, spacious and nicely decorated apartment. As we travelled during december the heater was a great plus to warm the room a bit. The kitchen has necessary kitchen ware to prepare breakfast. Location is great, it's a bit outside of medina so street is not that busy and you can buy fruits for much better price near by than in medina. I'd say it's a great value for money.

Excellent apartment. Newly renovated, spacious, clean, hot water, comfy bed, quiet, and in a central, local area just 5-10 min. walk from the medina. I loved everything here!

Le propriétaire est très disponible, il répond à vos questions. Je lui ai demandé de m'appeler un taxis pour venir me chercher et me ramener à la fin de mon séjour à l'aéroport et il l'a fait sans soucis. Il est très gentil. L'appartement est vraiment très propreet bien situé il n'est pas dans la médina mais juste à coté donc vous avez le calme le soir. Je pense que pour les prochaines semaines si il fait plus froid il faudrait juste mettre un petit chauffage mais vous avez quand même des couvertures qui tiennent bien chaud à cette période de Novembre. Je relouerais sans hésiter.

Appartement idéalement situé, dans une rue calme et très proche de la Médina, à 5min à pied. Possibilité de garer le véhicule en bas de l’appartement. La chambre est spacieuse et les lits sont confortables. Rapport qualité/prix au top ! Merci beaucoup !

Heel schoon appartement. Duidelijke omschrijving om er te komen. De auto op het pleintje gratis kunnen parkeren. Vlakbij leuke winkelstraat en medina op loopafstand.

The hosts are amazing , even by the high Moroccan standards ). I could check in early without any problems, I was greeted with lovely smiles. The owners speak good English. The flat is cosy, intimate, perfectly clean and spacious, in perfect location not far from Medina. And the bedroom is so lovely ! Highly recommended.

La ubicación y el trato del personal

El olor de las cloacas, que según el personal es un problema que sufren todas las casas del casco antiguo de Essaouira, sobre todo cuándo hay levante

L’établissement est conforme à la description. Il comporte tout ce dont on a besoin pour séjours à essaouira. Il est situé à 5min à pieds de la vielle médina ce qui est parfait pour être au calme le soir. Mais reste dans un quartier très fonctionnel avec tout le nécessaire à proximité. Et il y’a possibilité de ce garer très facilement à côté en voiture. Et surtout Younes est incroyablement gentil et surtout à l’écoute.

Safe neighborhood. 10min walk from Supratour bus. 3min walk to medina. 5min walk to the beach. Lively area to mingle with the locals. Some coffee powder / tea and hair dryer would be appreciated. A bit cold in January but heater was provided upon request
