Snooze Yogyakarta

Snooze has great ratings and I understand why. The place is lovely, room is clean, cool and comfortable. The vibe in the hostel is amazing, lots of plants everywhere great for eating breakfast, or reading a book or just chilling. Amazing location, can easily walk to lots of attractions. Staff were lovely, helped bring a group of solo travelers together for a tour and sorted the arrangements, happy to help with every question. I've also booked the Snooze in Malang and Banyuwangi, looking forward to it.

Diese Unterkunft ist eine Oase mitten in der Stadt Trubel. Es ist so wunderschön gemacht. alle vor Ort geben sich unglaublich viel Mühe. Mit so viel Liebe zum Detail. Das Frühstück ist wundervoll. Auch im Dorm hat man genug Privatsphäre und das ist wirklich schön gemacht.

Snooze in Yogya has the best team- they helped with trips and any problems. So kind and friendly. Great room and lots of places to chill out. As soon as you get there you are offered a drink every time. So thoughtful and caring. When a guest lost their phone- they worked late to resolve this (it was returned). And the breakfast is amazing!

It was great in many ways. I felt very welcomed. The communication worked very well, they always texted back immediately. They also had recommendations/contacts e.g. for Batik workshops. Room, toilet, shower and common space were all clean. It's a walkable distance from Malioboro street and the water castle and sultan's palace. The sweet and savory breakfast options were both vegetarian - vegan breakfast possible. If you're not there for breakfast, they offer to put it in the fridge or make lunch box for you. Since I booked a double room for only myself, they even offered I could have two breakfasts. The bed was very comfortable. The wifi was very good. Best part: after checking out I could still use the common space including the shower for the rest of the day.

Das Hostel ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet, mit sehr vielen Pflanzen und Gemeinschaft- sowie Rückzugsorten. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht dort aber haben uns sofort Wohlgefühl. Die Angestellten waren super freundlich:)

This place is a gem- a cocoon of kind, gentle, and positive energy. I don’t usually stay in hostels and only booked this place after a glowing recommendation from a friend. In fact, I almost canceled before arriving, and I’m so glad I didn’t. Many five-star hotels could learn from them about personalized hospitality. The location is great-safe, convenient, and only a 10-minute walk to central Malioboro Street. I stayed in a single room, which was actually much better than it looks in the photos. The garden has so many little nooks where you can sit, relax, and read. And the whole place is incredibly clean! My only tip is that they don’t specifically cater to dietary allergies, but they do their very best to compensate for them. The place has unlimited tea/coffee facilities. Thank you, Snooze team!

Sehr gemütliches Hostel in altem Haus mit viel Grün. Ruhig (bis auf den Muezzin um 4:30 :-). Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal was für Wohlfühlatmosphäre sorgt (ich war solo unterwegs). Super Frühstück.

Hôtel très bien situé, très propre avec du personnel vraiment gentil et bienveillant. Un grand bravo aux filles qui travaillent là-bas. Elles nous ont beaucoup aidé !!

Amazing hostel in a very good position: near to the center but very calm at night so you can enjoy a good sleep. The rooms and facilities were super clean and the bed comfy. Special mention to the staff: super kind, welcoming made me feel at home. Totally recommend

The sweetest hostel ever! Super comfortable and tidy. Pistachio was the cutest, the staff was super friendly. Homemade breakfast was great and vegetarian friendly. I‘d definitely come back!

Bit annoying that you can’t flush the toilet paper, but I guess that’s a regular occurrence in Indonesia.

The location is very close to the main sites in Yogya. Very quiet, clean and peaceful hostel with good breakfast and very helpful staff.

Fantastisch verbleef, Ami en haar collega's hebben ons echt een geweldig verblijf bezorgd. Niks was te veel gevraagd en ze hebben ons enorm goed geholpen met het vinden van een dokter toen ik ziek was. Kamers waren proper, er werd ook meerdere keren per dag gekuist.

Unglaublich nettes, hilfsbereites Personal, sehr grün und ruhig gelegen

Eine richtige Klimaanlage ist immer nochmal optimaler aber so richtig, hat sie mir auch nicht gefehlt.

Me gustó todo!! Amables, limpísimo, cómodo, céntrico, desayuno estupendo. Imposible pedir más!!!

Le personnel incroyablement sympathique, l'emplacement central, le calme et la zenitude du lieu

La chambre assez petite pour 4, mais de toute façon, on ne fait qu'y dormir

L'hôtel lui-même est déjà tout à fait adorable avec son jardin et toutes ses plantes, la chambre était très agréable et la literie confortable. Le personnel est aux petits soins, les petits-déjeuner sont faits maison. Tout est très propre, les sanitaires communs sont nettoyés plusieurs fois par jour. Allez-y sans hésiter, le quartier est calme mais proche de plein de sites d'intérêt !

J'ai toujours une remarque à faire mais cette fois-ci.... Aucune !

È un ostello situato molto vicino a Malioboro ma posizionato in una zona tranquilla. Staff super gentile pronto ad aiutarti per qualsiasi necessità. È un posto molto bello e curato, si vede l'attenzione e l'amore che lo staff impegna per tenerlo ad un così alto livello. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Very comfortable place, the staff is super nice and helpful, it's really hard to find this kind of hospitality. And the breakfast are very yummy 😋 PS: they even saved us for bringing our passport to the train station. Can't thank them enough Very raccomanded 💪

Lovely hostel with a lot of plants, the facilities are very very clean, the neighbourhood charming and quiet and the staff very kind and helpful. Don't hesitate to ask them for recommendations for food and activities as they made my stay in yogya very pleasant

The communication with the staff is great, they gave us lots of recommendations and advice on what to do, where to eat and how to move around in the city. Clear explanations and great management. Our room was so cosy and clean! The bathrooms were absolutely spotless at all times and I dreamt like in a dream on those mattresses. On top, I absolutely loved the green environment with plants and artwork hanging everywhere ❤️

One of the best hostels ive stayed at, the welcoming and super helpful staff, the delicious breakfast, the cozy homy style, lots of flexibility all to make you feel confortable. Highly recommand staying here and for sure I know next time in jogja ill be back in snooze.

The atmosphere. Everything is full of plants you really feel like in nature in the middle of the city. Stuff is super friendly and always in for a good talk. They seem to be genuinly having fun in talking with the guests :) Drinks are nice, you always get good fruit juice. Breakfast is also good. Basically everything is well organized, people are competent and wiling to help. You get help for almost everything. Clean quite rooms, hot shower. Nice garden.

Hmm, hard to find something. I came here several times. There is nothing that really needs to be improved. Maybe there could be a different breakfast for every day of the week, so if you stay for longer than a few days you do not have to eat the same breakfast twice. But that's minor.

The price is very reasonable. The bed was comfortable, so i had a good sleep. The place is clean and full of green plants. The location is also convenient, it's easy to visit Malioboro by walk. The staff were friendly and helpful. You can also borrow a hair dryer from the front desk if you need one.

The breakfast was average, but acceptable. One thing to note is that the shower only provides all in one wash, so if you prefer separate shampoo it, don't forget to bring your own or buy in advance.

The garden setting was very tranquil. The front desk girls were so friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and were very thoughtful. I stayed in a private room and it was comfy. The breakfast is great and the location was really good.

La gentillesse et la disponibilité des hôtes étaient très appréciable. Le logement était super propre et calme. C'est un endroit paisible qui est entretenu avec soin. Le petit déjeuner était également au top ! Vraiment, c'était parfait ☺️☺️

Das Personal war wirklich unfassbar nett, das Frühstück top und die Zimmer gemütlich und sehr sauber.

Personeel is echt supervriendelijk en behulpzaam, dat is echt superfijn. Ze helpen je graag met alles waar je hulp bij nodig hebt en groeten je altijd bij binnenkomst. De accommodatie is mooi ingericht met veel planten en altijd goed schoongemaakt. Een airco in de kamer is echt een verademing met de warmte. Het ontbijt is werkelijk fantastisch. Locatie is rustig gelegen op loopafstand van Malioboro street. Topverblijf dus! Mocht je op zoek zijn naar een mooi en rustig verblijf met geweldige faciliteiten is dit mijn aanrader.

Alles aan het verblijf was goed, het is echt een super hostel. De straat van Jalan Parangtritis op zo’n half uur lopen (of 10 minuten met Grab) is ook heel leuk. Je zou eventueel een verblijf in die buurt kunnen zoeken als je op zoek bent naar meer levendigheid of uitgaan, maar het is maar net waar je naar op zoek bent natuurlijk.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Everything is so lovingly and cozy furnished. The absolute highlight of the accommodation, however, was the staff—so attentive, helpful, and friendly! Incredible! Also the breakfast was insanely good!

Super süßes Hostel in toller Lage. Es ist sehr sauber und das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle so lieb. Ganz große Empfehlung!

Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, super lekker ontbijt, mooie locatie met heel groen. Er is een tuin waarin je kan ontbijten of chillen. Douches en toiletten werden heel regelmatig schoongemaakt, kamer was ook schoon. We waren positief verrast door Snooze en hebben een heel fijn verbijf gehad van 3 nachten.

Qua locatie iets verder weg van highlights en restaurants, maar met taxi goed te doen.

La atención y cuidado del personal, los desayunos riquísimos a elegir cada día, la ubicación cerca del palacio, museos, restaurantes y la calle principal pero lo suficientemente alejado para no sentir el caos del centro. La cama muy cómoda, espacio en la habitación para organizar tus cosas, las áreas comunes con una decoración preciosa y muchas plantas, baños limpios y con agua caliente. Volvería y lo recomendaré siempre que me pregunten.

Great place to stay and amazing staff !! Around 15 minktes away from the center by foot. Highly recommended 😊 Additionally it is possible to ask for a breakfast box to take away if you have early excursions which is very convenient. Breakfast on the spot is also very nice !! My room was nice and comfortable with a fan which was enough for me. I liked it so much I decided to continue with Snoozes in other locations as well ❣️

The hostel is in a great location, just a short walk from the main street. At the same time, it's peaceful and cozy. There are plenty of nice spots to relax and unwind. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dachten mee en konden ons helpen met vragen. Het ontbijt was ook super geregeld, ook op de dagen dat je te vroeg moet vertrekken regelen ze iets.

Onze kamer was erg warm. We konden wel een extra ventilator krijgen, dus dat was fijn geregeld.

The accommodation is amazing, the room is great, the breakfast superb and the staff is beyond helpful and kind. Not a place to really meet other people, as they only have 1 dormitory with only 4 beds. However, if you’re looking for a place that makes you feel at home, at comfort and at peace, I recommend Snooze 100%!

Dieses Hostel ist etwas ganz besonderes! Ich wurde ganz herzlich empfangen und habe mich sofort wohl gefühlt. Alles ist sehr schön eingerichtet, es gibt kleine Rückzugsorte. Die Zimmer sind gut gestaltet, der Spind ist sehr groß. Es konnten auch Ausflüge gebucht werden. Das Personal war super lieb und hat zwischendurch immer Iced Tee angeboten. Das Frühstück war total lecker!

really loved that the staff are all so welcoming and puts in effort to get to know you and ask you about your day, it really felt so homely. the whole environment was lovely, and i appreciated that there were many spots to chill around. the breakfast is reallyyyy amazing, and the laundry service saved me so much trouble. the room was really quite comfortable and it felt quite clean!
