Reviewed Apr 7, 2025Location. Dishwasher, coffee percolator, microwave
Very small and did not look like photos. Quite dirty which is not normal for Norway (some plant growing up through the shower drain, lots of cobwebs, some dust). Light switch behind tv was very awkward.

Reviewed Feb 22, 2025Very nice location only 3 min walk away from the slopes, with options to ski all the way. Nice little sauna, and a well equipped small kitchen
None of the pictures were from the location. And the cleaning was bad with cobwebs multiple places. It was quite old, and could need a prober makeover.

Reviewed Jan 29, 2025Cozy cabin
No (as in “zero”) closets or drawers for clothes in the entire cabin. That does not work well on a ski trip, where everyone brings a lot of gear. Other than that, the cabin was small but cozy. It is listed as having capacity for 5 adults. That is a stretch. 5 adults would have been crammed.

Reviewed Jan 6, 2025Very nice and clean, fresh apartement with nice view to the mountains. Kitchen and some bedrooms downstairs and livingroom and some bedrooms upstairs. Bathrooms on both floors, so very convenient for two families trip.
Wanted to use the sauna after ski day, but it started the firealarm somehow and it was recommended not to use this to avoid alarm.

Reviewed Jan 3, 2025Beautiful chalet in a good location ski in ski out option too on the t13 run. Well equipped chalet for cooking, and loved the sled for kids.
No complaints.

Reviewed Oct 20, 2024Location is great, if it's right season to be there. Hiking/Mtb track close by. Great place to walk dogs, close by. Adjustable temperature, can be as warm as you want.
You do not rent a house from the picture. Arrival instructions are unacceptable. Instead of sharing address for online maps, a drawing is given. It's 10km from reception to the house, drawing is not indicating in which direction to start, the drawing has north-south upside down. It's pitch dark in the required arrival time and house numbers not readable. Took us 1.5h to find. House is very small and dark. There is no closets in the house due to how little rooms are. Kitchen, bathroom are tiny, old and not in a charming way. In hindsight, the listing had left out those details from pictures. House is located far away from Trysil center. There is a local center with a shop and restaurants. Everything was closed, and I wish that was clear during booking. We haven't seen any person of the staff, reception was closed in checkin and checkout time. For such case the details in the digital form are insufficient. House is located on a paid toll road, 10eur/ride. Instructions to obtain weekly pass are not shared and not given upon my written request.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2024Was abysmal. Property was not located where it was suggested on booking.com. Not accessible without a car and ski in / ski out only. Which was not useful when you were not skiing! The staff were impossible to get hold of. We couldn’t collect the keys as it was down a motorway miles away from the bus terminal (despite showing it should be in the town centre) so we couldn’t even stay. Couldn’t get hold of them to help, no refund. It is the worst experience I have ever had. My emails and calls went unanswered.
Everything! The place is a lie! It’s not an apartment in the centre of town, it’s a house miles away. Complete fraud.

Reviewed Feb 14, 2024The apartment in it self was good, but the location didn't meet our expectations
The location of the apartment were not the same as advertised via the map function on Booking.com. We confronted Trysilfjellet with this who acknowledged that the info could be misleading but referred us to a blurry picture giving the actual location. We asked to have an apartment according to the map on booking.com but this was not possible, neither was any chance of compensation.

Reviewed Mar 19, 2023The apartment was very clean, house seemed very young, so everything was in very good condition. It was close walking distance to the ski lifts. The apartment was equipped very well, coffee maker, dishwasher, everything needed for cooking. Had a nice outside closet for skis. The reception was very kind and responsive, we had ordered a baby bed that was forgotten, but after writing to the reception it was on our doorstep already the next day.
It looked bigger in the pictures, but I guess it is always the case. Shower, bathroom and sauna was in the same room so was a bit difficult to manage attendance there. A ski boot dryer would have been nice, but it did have a separate room for storing skiing clothes and boots.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2023we had a confirmed booking but the host refused to take us in when we arrived claiming they cancelled the booking (not true). anyway we were left on the street but luckily we managed through the help of booking.com, to get a refund after and compensation for the difference as we had to book a more expensive hotel for the night. The customer service lady that refused to admit us despite having a booking was speaking in a quite defensive and rude manner.
