The host and facilities are excellent value and accommodations. I just gave a call upon arrival and the host met me within a couple of minutes, gave a tour of the house and let me be. Check out was just an easy with a simple call. The house is in a nice little community, typical to rural Jamaican life. I will definitely be staying here again on future trips to the area.

The owners are locals and are very welcoming. They made sure we were safe at all times, while Jamaica is generally safe for tourists, they went out of their way to take great care of us. If you want to visit the real Jamaica and meet local people, this is the place to be, it’s a lovely neighbourhood where people are friendly and kind. It’s a beautiful walk to the main road where you can take a route taxi for less than 200 jmd to the center of Port Maria. There’s a great restaurant nearby and many other local spots to visit. The knutsford express can take you from kingston or montego bay to Port Maria. The rooms have A/C and the beds are comfortable. The house is well equipped, the wifi works well, nothing to complain about! They are good local people and deserve many guests ;) you should get to know them too!

Nothing really, the place is a place to discover the real Jamaican life and is well equipped and furnished.
