Die Lage und das freundliche Personal. Man geht ca. 10 Minuten zum Bahnhof. Dort fahren viele Busse in alle Richtungen. Die Happy Hour im Hotel geht bis 19.00 Uhr, die Drinks waren sehr gut.

Der Teppich im Zimmer. Ich hatte bei Buchung extra gebeten, ein Zimmer ohne Teppich zu bekommen, da ich Allergikererin bin. Mir wurde dort mitgeteilt, dass ich beim einchecken diesen Wunsch noch einmal äußern solle. Dort erfuhr ich, dass es in allen Premier Inn Hotels die gleiche Einrichtung gäbe, jedes Zimmer sei mit Teppich ausgestattet. Hätte ich dies gewusst, wäre meine Wahl auf ein anderes Hotel gefallen. Leider wies der Teppich in unserem Zimmer etliche unappetitliche Flecken auf (s. Fotos). Auch in der Dusche gab es an den Fugen etliche Stockflecken. Es gibt praktisch, außer sechs Kleiderbügeln und einem schmalen Brett, keine Möglichkeit, Kleidung einzuräumen. Deshalb mussten wir unsere Sachen im Koffer lassen.

Abfluss war etwas verstopft. Das Wasser in der Dusche blieb längere Zeit stehen.

Eigentlich war alles ok und obwohl es direkt an der Hauptstraße liegt habe ich im 5. Stock davon nichts gehört.

Das einiges besser geht musste ich am nächsten Tag in einem anderen Hotel feststellen, welches zudem auch noch deutlich günstiger war. Hier gab es kostenlos Mineralwasser auf dem Zimmer und eine Mini-Bar, außerdem auch einen richtigen Kleiderschrank. Parken mit dem Motorrad in der Tiefgarage war ebenfalls kostenfrei, im PremierInn musste ich dafür 17,- € bezahlen !

Die Lage war super, nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß vom Hbf entfernt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Zimmer sauber. Es gab sogar einen Wasserkocher und Tee/Kaffee auf dem Zimmer.

Es sind nur Kleinigkeiten, aber: Für das (Queensize-) Bett gab es nur eine Decke und eine durchgehende Matratze. Wenn man mit dem Partner/der Partnerin da ist, auch völlig okay, aber mit Freunden ... Da finde ich es besser, ich habe meine eigene Decke und getrennte Matratzen. Der Wasserdruck war sehr niedrig (unser Zimmer war im 5.Stock), das Duschen hat dadurch länger gedauert. Für eine kurze Zeit aber alles keine großen Probleme.

Super Lage nahe HBF und gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, die Zimmer sind ordentlich, schön gemacht und für ein Business-Hotel auch ausreichend groß. Das Bad ist schön eingerichtet und sauber. Die Lage ist in der Nähe des Hbf, die Innenstadt ist fussläufig erreichbar. Für einen kurzen Business-Aufenthalt oder einen Stadtbesuch eine super Wahl.

Checkout war ein bisschen langsam und es gab Stau

Uns hat gefallen, dass das Zimmer modern eingerichtet ist. Das Personal hat unserem Wunsch nachgegangen ist und wir haben das Zimmer auf die Hofseite bekommen.

Die Wand, an der Bettkopfteil befestigt ist, hat sich jedes mal erschreckend bewegt, wenn die Tür das Nebenzimmer zugemacht wurde. Das Bett ist gerade so 200 cm lang. Wegen dem Kopfteil ist es nich kürzer, sodass die Füße in der Luft hängen. Die Duschtür geht nur in eine Richtung auf und ist somit sehr sperrig für so einen mini Raum. Eine Faltdrehtür wäre optimal. Der Teppich roch dezent und doch unangenehm. Wurde er jemals nassgereinigt? Wenn nicht, es wird Zeit.

Das Hotel liegt dicht zum Hbf Wiesbaden. Von Außen ein schöner Anblick, die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt. Sein Fahrrad darf man mit aufs Zimmer nehmen.

Die Klimaanlage war nicht zu regulieren. Sie war zwar auf kühlen eingestellt, das Zimmer war aber zu warm. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer. Es war in beiden Zimmer zu warm. Ist wahrscheinlich ein generelles Problem der Klimaanlage im ganzen Haus.

Unschöne Flecken im Bad, am großen Spiegel im Zimmer, der Wasserkocher war verkalkt. Ich habe mein helles shirt irgendwo hingelegt, danach waren zwei ölflecken darauf.

Sehr moderne, gut geführte Unterkunft. Alles sehr sauber und die Belegschaft aufmerksam und höflich. Wir können das Hotel absolut empfehlen und würden auch wieder dort buchen.

Es gab nichts negatives.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Da ich was in der Nähe vom Hbh gesucht habe, war dieses Hotel perfekt. Obwohl unser Zummer zur Straße lag, war es angenehm. (Fenster geschlossen,Klima an)..kommen gerne wieder. *****

Room on top floor was smelling of smoke and looked used with missing towel and bed was not completely made.. so I was moved to another room by kind staff

Steuerung Dusche, keine Kosmetik - Tücher oder Kosmetik - Spiegel (sagt meine Frau); Fenster nur zum Kippen, obwohl ein Geländer vorhanden ist.

Das Zimmer war bei der Anreise angenehm kühl.

Für 2 Personen gibt es nicht genügend Möglichkeiten die Handtücher zum trocknen aufzuhängen.

We had a great stay. The Scottish girl in Witney (so sorry I can't remember your name) was amazing and really looked after us! Sorry we couldn't tip you as the machines weren't working! You were great ☺️

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at the Premier Inn Witney, Oxfordshire from Friday, 3rd to Sunday, 5th Oct During our stay, my husband received eight insect bites: two on Friday night and six on Saturday night. The bites caused him significant discomfort and sleeplessness. We reported the issue to the manager and showed her dated photographs of the bites. She advised us to contact Guest Relations, assuring us that obtaining a refund would not be a problem. I subsequently contacted Guest Relations and provided all necessary information, including photographic evidence. After several email exchanges, a representative named Ryan refused the refund and stated that Guest Services would no longer communicate on this matter. Won't ever stay again at any premier inn. Avoid unless you want bites and poor customer service

The total hotel could do with a complete paint job. We were booked into a disabled room. We had no problems with that as we werent disabled but someone that was could have, the toilet wouldnt flush properly due to the flush handle being broken. Rm 119 at the Witney Ducklington lane hotel. The manager the morning of the 29/10/25 was awful. her customer service skills were none existent!. Due to the fact that there was seruiously bad catering ordering skills....half the breakfast that you were supposed to pay full time for...didnt get served!...but still supposed to pay full!...Avoid this place...the whole place is tired and dated...Staff need more training...

Road tripped round the UK recently and this was by far the best Premier inn we visited. The staff were polite and attentive, the freshly made pizza by the chef was incredible (highly recommend), thanks to Zoe for amazing service aswell as others. The breakfast cooked to perfection 👌 would certainly stay here again.

Lovely experience, all staff from reception, housekeeping and culinary wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and enjoyed looking around the area.

A great stay at this hotel, we stay in premier inn hotels frequently and we were more than happy here. Reception staff are superb nothing was too much, we paid for early check in which was no hastle at all. Room was a little dated but was cheap to book so not overly worried about that. Breakfast is buffet style but all hot and well maintained with a good variety. Gluten free catered for too. We would definitely recommend and stay here again if we are in the area.

Stayed overnight as part of a large family group. All staff were very welcoming and room was clean, airy and had good temperature control. Very quiet hotel, plenty of parking. Staff were very accommodating in seating our family group together for breakfast, only minor let down was the temperature of the breakfast items- very lukewarm but still a good selection and plenty to go around. Great location if visiting Witney- just a short walk into the town center.

My experience at the Premier Inn in Witney was excellent. The team was very welcoming and kind, with special thanks to Zoe.

Great location for exploring the Cotswolds. Hotel was clean & comfortable. Staff were excellent, but overworked. Definitely need extra staff. Food was good. Would stay there again if in the area.

I have stayed at this Premier Inn in Witney six times in the past 8 months. On NO occasion has the restaurant been open for service in the evenings. This despite, on most occasions, having booked the Meal Deal (dinner and breakfast). The explanations given vary - the chef’s sick, staff shortages, young staff member unable to work past 8.15pm etc. On the most recent occasion (26th August), we were pleased to see a notice to the effect that, though there was limited service in the dining room, meals WOULD be served to people who had booked a Meal Deal. Then we were told that we were too late - this was at 8.20pm. Staff are pleasant enough - though there are very few of them - but clearer, more honest, explanations would be welcome. In future I shall be booking elsewhere and that might well be at the Travelodge just down the road.

- A/C in bedroom not working which meant a very uncomfortable night for us all in a family room - No staff to accommodate our pre-paid for dinner - Cooked breakfast was only luke warm

Room good ,breakfast better organised since our last stay. Don’t bother with dinner in the evening. Food ok when you get it but very long waits and mix ups. One of our 2 meals delivered an hour before the other. Other guests walked out, another had had problems 3 nights running.

The room and bathroom were clean and well presented and everything worked. Staff were friendly and pleasant, although virtually the first thing said to us on our arrival at 13:30 was, “If you want to check in now it will be £15.” Not the friendliest welcome. The reason for the low score was the restaurant. The tables were sticky. At breakfast the cold section with the milks etc gave the impression that it could benefit from a thorough clean. The cooked food was tired and appeared to have been cooked quite a while before being served. When poached eggs were requested they were not available. The ridiculous reason given was that there was not a pan to cook them in. Poached eggs can be cooked in any type of saucepan or even a frying pan. So what kitchen doesn’t have those available. My wife and our friend went to the restaurant at about 20:00 hours on 14/08/2025 and were refused food because, “they were not accepting walk ins”! Given that we were staying in the hotel and the restaurant was not busy I feel that is unacceptable. We will seek alternative accommodation in Witney before using the Premier Inn there again, and we stay in the area every few months.

A great Hotel which provided an excellent centre from which to explore the Cotswolds. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was excellent.

Very basic hotel without a pub/ restaurant attached. It has a small dining area which was set up for breakfast at 8pm the evening before. Wasn't able to get an evening meal as the chef was off sick & there was no staff to cover. 🤔We were out at 7am so unable to get breakfast the following morning. If i had known i would probably booked a cheaper competitor chain of hotel but i booked P I as usually they are the same std. Fan in room kept me awake, unable to switch off. Not the best PI that I've stayed in.

Excellent staff, very friendly. I used the restaurant a lot, food really nice and about average price. The reason for 2 stars is the internet. If you intend to use it at all during your stay, forget it. The "ultimate" package which you pay extra for is as close to unusable as you can get, before trying to connect to a breeze block. My stay was long and dull as a result...

A disappointing visit. No bar and restaurant very basic. Menu limited due to freezers having broken down. Milk/sugar/coffee/tea sachets in short supply in bedroom. On plus side the staff were friendly

Large enough room with a double bed and bathroom. Clean. The restaurant had plenty of space and was quick at serving food. The food was good too. Parking at the hotel is free and easy to get a space. Ann and Sharon were good hosts.
