We had a very pleasant stay; the room was very comfortable and very clean. We received excellent service from Jeff. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The room was quaint, clean and comfy. The location was awesome! And added bonus was the hummingbird feeder outside our window and the 10 or so birds that flitted around it.

Très bonne localisation (Julian est principalement concentrée sur une rue). A 10 minutes à pied de la mine. Charme de l'hôtel & décoration. Super accueil (bien penser à les informer de votre heure d'arrivée).

A part le lobby qui est fermé (il est ouvert pour les enregistrements/arrivées uniquement semble t-il) tout était parfait.

Honestly, for how busy they were I'm surprised the rates were so low. I only came down for one night to see the meteor shower with my son. This isn't a luxury hotel but it's very clean and the service is eager and friendly. I felt like they cared that I had a good stay. I manage a larger branded hotel in San Diego and was impressed, not easy to do since it's hard to turn work off when I travel.

I really like the location. It seems like a pretty good option overall — more convenient, with better amenities, and the price is good too.

The only thing we didn’t really like was the smell in the room. It didn’t feel very fresh and had a slightly musty, older smell, possibly from the furniture. Even though the window was open when we arrived, the smell was still noticeable. Perhaps the room could benefit from some updating or simply a fresh, pleasant scent, especially when the room is closed. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Location, staff coffee in the lobby

The staff is friendly and helpful. The Lodge is in walking distance to everything depending on you fitness level. They give you and actual key which I love! I always lose the key cards 😂. My room was decent size. Clean sheets. No stray hairs. It's an older property but there was no musty carpet smell or weird mystery stains. Just old school charm. The ice machine was a life saver as I was here in July. Outside during 97° days. The room itself was very cool. 65°. Jeff was the clerk at the front and he was very sweet. He said they get snow in the winter so I might return.

There is no elevator. I was on the second floor. Which is kind of like the 3rd floor because you have to take a flight of stairs to get to the first floor as well. It was late July. It was 99°. It was brutal. With my bag it was pure cardio.

The rooms and the hotel are very cozy, clean, roomy and comfortable. We had a microwave, small fridge with freeEr and coffee machine.We like how quiet it was and the location could not be better. They are also pet friendly which we appreciated because we took our Boston Terrier puppy.Thank you for a nice stay!

Love this pet-friendly hotel! from parking lots to the check in office, to the room and the bathroom, everywhere is clean and smell good. AC is cold during Summer, a bit noisy but didnt bother us. Hot water, hair dryer, soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Bed and pillow was so comfy. Love the deco and the vibes of the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. They have ice machine in the hallway, water and coffee at the check in office. You can make a hot tea there. The office seems like a nice area to play some board games and hang out after a long day, but we didnt make use of the space because we are more outdoorsy. 10/10

the cable TV didnt work with the free-wifi. I used my mobile hotspot to connect. I know there is pet fee but it is now $50 instead of $35. Room deposit was charged before we check-in and we were not notified about that. I hope they can be more transparent with these fee and payments

Parking, internet, walkability

Had just what you need for the night and a heated light in the bathroom to keep it warm on cold winter nights. Nicely decorated rooms that really fit the setting, including the camouflaged mini fridge, it looked just like a cabinet.

Central location within easy walking distance to all shops and restaurants. We stayed in king suite which was very roomy with an excellent walk in shower.

The king suite would be improved with the bed being in its own room separate from the seating area.

Quiet, and quaint! Perfect getaway from the city, and took care of me and my momma’s late arrival. I booked Julian Lodge a week before my stay so that I could see the stars during the new moon with my momma. Price was good for a college student working part time, and the staff was super kind, on the phone, and in person! Ice and water available down the hall, and allowed to keep our car parked to explore town, even when we were checked out. Thank you so much staff of Julian Lodge! We will definitely be back 🥰

The property is remodeled and it looks very good. Rooms are clean, with AC, coffee pod machine and a mini fridge quite handy to store a Julian apple pie. Bathroom has a great shower and vanities are provided to give you enough in case you forgot your own stuff. The mattress is very comfortable and the TV has everything that you can choose if you loose your sleep (I doubt cause Julian has a quite a lovely sky that can really put you to relax. Near restaurants and bars.

I would have liked to stay a little longer checkout. Some shops in the town are closed in Tuesday.No bed and breakfast there.

I enjoyed everything nice and quiet, and the gentleman at the receptionist desk was extremely professional and a great person to have a conversation with. I could’ve talked to him for hours. He was awesome. The place was cozy and quiet and very clean. I’ll be back.

The TV didn't work. The phone number to call for service never answered, there were earwigs on my pillows 3 different time, my purse and other belongings were covered with ants because the desk top was sticky. I stayed two days and was told I would get a refund/credit but it hasn't happened?

Am Ortsrand der kleinen Ortschaft gelegen. Freundlich für PCT-Hiker (hat eine Hiker-Box). Nicht mehr top Neu, aber sauber und OK. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Gemütliches zimmer in zentraler Lage. Ich musste aufgrund einer Wanderverletzung mehrfach verlängern und die Besitzerin hat alles möglich gemacht, dass ich weiter in meinem Zimmer bleiben konnte, auch wenn aufgrund des Wochenendes fast alles ausgebucht war. Zusätzlich für einen Sonderpreis. Es wurde sich mehrfach um meine Gesundheit erkundigt und weitere Hilfe angeboten. In der Zeit habe ich 3 verschiedene Mitarbeiter kennengelernt und alle waren extrem nett und hilfsbereit. Ich verdanke diesem Hotel sehr viel.

In the morning when we woke up we discovered we had no water for the toilet or to take a shower or even brush your teeth.

Loved the location being close to everything. Loved the decor and furniture, reminded me of my grandparents house growing up. Everyone there were very helpful and friendly.

I had no issues, but the stairs might be a little bit of trouble for older or folks with knee or back issues.

It was super cute, right next to main st, we walked to everything. Super great staff and supplies. Beds were super comfy too!

I liked the quality of the 1-bead room I got with the microwave just in case I needed to heat some food. The bed was good and the proximity to my stargazing walks, restaurants, and Eagle Mine were adequate,

The parlor area was so cute and quaint, and the perfect spot to have our coffee in the morning. The room was comfortable, and you can't beat the location. Perfectly walkable to the restaurants and shops we wanted to go to.

The hot water heater went out during our stay, which was a bummer, but the staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. I wish I would have gotten their names, but the younger gal and the older gentleman that worked the front desk were so kind and were on top of everything.
