Reviewed Jan 7, 2025Very small unit (room#3) with a good closet. The king-size bed takes all the space in the room which is minimally equipped and needs update. I always check the bedsheets first upon arrival. That day the sheets were not removed and laundered after the previous guests. I found few body hair, lots of sand and blood stains on the fitted sheet and the pillow cases as well (red, not brown spots which indicates not cleaning process). I communicated with the host via text message before arrival, so I sent the pics and let her know. She is extremely responsive, apologized and told me that someone will take care of it (cleaning stuff was still at the premises). We left for a walk, she texted that it is done, and upon return (more than an hour later), the bed was made. I checked again, same hair and same blood spots still there, less sand. Texted again, so the hosts came immediately, bringing clean sheets, they changed it by themselves and apologized again. I appreciate the fast response to fix the issue. The bathroom seemed ok regarding the cleanliness, but hard to tell, the tiles are brownish colored. We only stayed for a night, this place is unpleasant, only good if you just need a place to sleep and shower, close to the airport. Isla Verde is walking distance, so the location is good. The outdoor space looks much nicer, which may attract the people for booking the room. I think this unit is overpriced for the current conditions.
