The style of the villas were beautiful, and the private pool was clean and well kept.

I don’t understand why the reviews were so positive for this hotel. I found this stay to be a series of missed opportunities. The property has beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the bay. However all of that was blocked by intentional landscaping. There was no ocean or mountain view from the villa but there would have been a great view of both of they hadn’t planted such tall trees and bushes in the way. There is a stagnant, man made pond in the center which attracted many mosquitos. That space would have been perfect for a communal lawn with lounge chairs or something… to really take advantage of the natural views. The air conditioning unit was also placed on the roof right next to the patio and pool… so instead of hearing the surrounding nature, you just hear a mechanical hum 24/7. That could have been easily solved by placing it around the corner. There was a beach area but no chairs or lounge space to spend time there and enjoy the views. I inquired about that but no chairs were provided and I felt strange dragging chairs form the villa. The staff was very kind of course but was very limited in how they could help us. I wanted to book a boat tour for any of the days we were staying and I was told all boats were sold out… so I had to research and book third party trip on my own. This is really not a hotel. It’s a remote villa with some staff but extremely limited resources. There is one fantastic restaurant across the street and one trendy cafe with views. That’s all. Bottom line: there are TONS of other amazing villas around that take advantage of the landscape and provide better amenities. Krabi is filled with amazing hotels. This is not one of them. I recommended staying somewhere with more activity or at least better amenities or views.

Beautiful villa. So beautiful it, or something like it, has gone to our retirement wish list. The service staff were simply excellent. Rose and her team really turned it into a fantastic holiday for us.

It’s fantastic for someone seeking quality family time in a quiet location. Not so much if you’re going to travel to other touristy places frequently. Also, bed could be a tad softer. And the ‘delights’ room needs a decent pool table to replace the raggedy one occupying it at the moment.

потрясающая локация, отличные закаты. Вилла большая, чистая, оснащена всем необходимым. Патио просторное, мы спокойно поместились вшестером. Большой холодильник с морозильной камерой, большой телевизор. Узнав, что у меня День Рождения, сотрудники принесли мне именной торт, это было очень мило. В целом прекрасный сервис.

Матрасы очень мягкие - если вам так нравится, то это не проблема, но мне было неудобно, спишь как в гамаке. Гриль в барбекю-зоне газовый, но сложно регулируемый и огонь горит неравномерно. Ну и удаленность от города - поехать закупиться в MAKRO это примерно часа полтора. Само по себе это не минус - уединенность виллы скорее плюс, но лучше это учитывать.

An oasis of calm and relax, loved the excursions the property offers, super nice views and food from the Khatong Hills restaurant and a nice way to finish the day and see the sunset and ofcourse … the very friendly staff and breakfast!

Two big rooms with large bathrooms, and a sitting rooms at the same level of space. A nice patio with a barbecue aside the swimming pool, with the view on the seaside and on the small lake beside the house. Cleanliness over any expectation! I can only add our thanks for this wonderful stay!

The no.1 place for krabi Amazing

Superb villa. We had a 2 bedroom place for a family of 4. Very comfortable, plenty of room, lovely outdoor area by the plunge pool and well-equipped kitchen. The breakfast options were good and there was plenty of food. We booked a superb trip through the villa hosts for a longtail trip to see some of the islands - including Kho Hong. We left at 9am and returned around 2pm - 3500thb - excellent value in comparison to what you would pay in Phuket! The boat was really comfortable, fruit and water provided. Very quiet location, beautiful views. Helpful to have your own transport.

The bedroom upstairs does not have access to a bathroom and the stairs are quite steep - it is a twin room - not ideal for young children or anyone with mobility issues. Mugs for coffee and tea rather than small cups would be great!

Hospitality, food, serene and beautiful landscaping and surroundings. The lady at front desk named Rose was so welcoming and smiling all the time. All other staffs are so amazing.

Our group of nine South African friends, all approaching our 60s and having known each other since primary school, gathered for a week in Thailand, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place than Tha Lane. We quickly booked two three-bedroom villas for October 2024, and I can confidently say there was nothing to complain about—quite a rarity for our group! Everyone absolutely loved our experience. The villas are impeccably maintained, offering a clean and relaxing atmosphere with breathtaking scenery. With only four villas on the property—two two-bedroom and two three-bedroom—the privacy was a definite plus. The attention to our needs was exceptional; every request was met promptly and with genuine warmth. The excursion prices were very reasonable, allowing us to explore without straining our budgets. The villas are well-equipped, featuring an abundance of dishes and utensils, along with a gas stove and a convection microwave for cooking and reheating. The food from the restaurant, conveniently delivered right to our villa, was both delicious and affordable. We were genuinely impressed by the incredible value offered at this hidden gem. As a resident of Thailand, I've already booked a week for next year around the same time, as this is undoubtedly my go-to spot for annual holidays! It’s truly fantastic!

There really was not a thing we did not like. Tha Lane Villa has been going for more than 10 years, and the owners and staff are at the top of their game.

Staff was friendly and very responsive via WhatsApp (although English was a bit of a challenge - but did not count in rating), solid WiFi, very clean. Breakfast was a nice touch, order a la carte (tried once).

Bathrooms semi Thai style (open roof with screen) so all the hot air was in the bathroom. It made it difficult to keep the villa cool. Salt water pool (very small) had mold (but staff had it cleaned the next day), no curtains on main room so while sun set heat directly in main room. Difficult to keep the room cool (had to figure out curtain closing openings of two bedrooms to help). Not enough/poorly placed electrical plugs. Not truly private (people in villa to right could see me and vice versa while sunbathing, in pool. Upstairs room was locked/no access as I had rented the two bedrooms below (seems silly). For a three star it was generally very nice, however I did not get the value for the price. I left a week early as the location is not near anything (which I enjoyed but also not).

Spacious, modern well equipped villa with good view through the trees to the sea with the karsts scenery. Fabulous staff who looked after us very well including giving me a birthday cake, very touched. Short walk to the stunning Khaohills view point.

The location was lovely and peaceful very different from staying in the main tourist areas. The hosts were amazing and so hospitable We loved our stay. The private breakfast we had every day was always on time, lovely and well presented and tasty with loads of options! We had the best time! the staff there are very hardworking and lovely. We told the staff that it was my birthday and they came and decorated my room and sang happy birthday to me and gave me a lovely cake which I shared with the staff around. If you stay here we recommend that you hire a car or a scooter to get around as most places are a bit far out.

Splendid there’s nothing to complain about, the villa, pool, and staff along with the breakfast were all exceptional, we loved it, the wildlife round the nearby pond kept us entertained what a bonus,

The property is half an hour drive from ao nang. So the drive becomes difficult. Also, the garden view with sea isn’t quite clean. The beds are too soft.

Amazing location with views from rooms and outside. Large property. Excellent privacy. Comfortable rooms, kitchen, bathrooms etc. Two walls of glass in the bedroom gives a feel of being right in a jungle next to the beach. Simply fabulous. Staff is excellent, helpful and polite. Cannot think of a better place to stay.

Cannot swim in the sea because the beach is not a beach. Just good to look at. However that's no fault of the property.

Maybe a few more sunbeds would have been nice (just had two at the terrace, for 3 people) or in general maybe a few chairs etc in the garden/ waterfront of the property. Staff was very nice, but to organize something which was not in their book, it was easier to do it by ourselves, as they did not understand.

Breakfast choice could be a little wider but is excellent anyway. Ice in the freezer for drinks would be welcomed but you get it if you ask.

A beautiful villa. Spacious rooms, super clean, nice view and surroundings, good pool, breakfast at the porch. Perfect place for a few days of relaxing in a peaceful atmosphere. We liked it all but especially remember the very friendly staff! No question was too much. All with a big smile! We will be back 😀
