A beautiful & relax hotel with a stunning view of the volcano. The staff are very friendly, and communication with them is very smooth. They help wherever possible and organize excursions upon simple request. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner are delicious and extensive. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained. We would love to return.

Wonderful and accommodating staff. The view of Mt Agung is spectacular. The hotel felt brand new. Very clean and well maintained. Beautiful gardens and pool. We are already planning our next trip up from the coast, it was that good.

The restaurant food was very ordinary, I hate to say. Doesn't match the amazing hotel. Nasi goreng was tasteless when it should be outstanding. The desert was the highlight, but mains dishes were not great. Doesn't take much effort to make amazing Indonesian food, but the cooks here don't seem particularly interested. Much improvement needs to be made in the restaurant and, judging by comments from others here and on google reviews, not much is being done to change this. Marketing has gone to great lengths to promote the restauarant as something really special, but the reality is quite the opposite.

We found Tapa Agung View to be a truly exceptional place to stay. One of the things we appreciated most was being able to enjoy meals right at the accommodation. The restaurant was always open, the breakfast was very generous, and we had the chance to try a wide variety of delicious local Indonesian dishes. Dinner was especially enjoyable, as there was always some kind of cultural performance, which added a wonderful and authentic touch to our experience. We also loved having a swimming pool and Balinese massage services available on-site, both of which could be booked almost immediately. The staff were extremely flexible, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. They always did their best to accommodate our needs: they provided us with yoga mats and even arranged a late breakfast for us one day when we returned from a tour after the usual breakfast hours. They also helped us organize our transfer. Overall, the warm hospitality, flexibility, excellent food, cultural experiences, and great facilities made our stay truly memorable. And last but not least, the view was absolutely breathtaking, with the majestic Mount Agung always right in front of us.

De ligging is fenomenaal. De kamers hebben frontaal uitzicht op de vulkaan. De infinity pool is zeer prettig, lekker verfrissend, maar niet te koud en heerlijk om baantjes te trekken. De kamers zijn clean; zowel schoon alsook een beetje kaal qua aankleding. Dat kan sfeervoller. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Het ontbijt is in buffetvorm en prima. Niet heel bijzonder. Wat ook prachtig ligt, is het restaurant en de zitjes met vulcano-view. Echt zo gaaf om wakker te worden en de zon op te zien komen vanachter de vulkaan met een ontbijtje op die plek. Magisch mooi. Ook een bezoekje aan de belangrijkste tempel van Azië mag niet ontbreken. Tegelijkertijd is het zonde om op pad te gaan, want genieten in het hotel is heerlijk.

De ligging is zowel fantastisch als geïsoleerd. Er komt geen of nauwelijks een Grab en je zult veelal vervoer via het hotel moeten regelen. Je bent dus min of meer afhankelijk van het hotel voor het diner als je het eenvoudig wilt houden/als je niet lang in de taxi wilt zitten. En daar ging het bij ons mis. Op de Balinese avond met buffet, bestelden wij voor 2 het buffet en voor 2 à la carte en die logistiek kunnen ze niet goed handelen met de bestaande personeelsbezetting. Ons 1ste diner was daarmee ook een fiasco. Na de nodige stevige gesprekken, hebben we dit diner niet hoeven te betalen. Daarna was het personeel wel extra bezorgd om ons welzijn, zeg maar. De manier waarop het uiteindelijk is opgelost is okay.

Le personnel est adorable et au petit soin pour vous . Petit déjeuner très sympa . Proche du plus grand temple Besakih et de magnifiques cascades . J’ai pris un massage et c’était très bien

There is no restaurant nearby so be prepared to eat in the one in the hotel (everyone can find something). Pool temperature a bit low.

Quiet location, great staff, amazing view, convenient restaurant. A special thanks to Komang: skilled driver and very good guide for tourists. I strongly recommend to go for half day tour with Komang!

Las vistas con un día claro son espectaculares. Todo esta muy limpio y la piscina esta muy bien.

Rooms decent size, garden / Mountain View was lovely. Rooms were clean. On site massage was very good. Cooking class was fun, chef was really supportive to the kids. Downside was not making satay sauce from scratch.

Location means you are eating there. They had “extensive” meal options but as so often when try and do it all the quality is not as good as if you specialise. Found the overall good just okay - across lunch, dinner, and breakfast. Found for breakfast - buffet - stands weee not being topped up and food was just warm. Staff were very friendly but found often slow at responding and difficult to get their eye to get service. Struggled on getting consistent hot water coming through. Had sign to wait 3 mins - took longer and then was too hot. Struggled to then get right warmth. Suggests need to set and mid and leave it to come through - but feels like you are wasting a lot of water.

Mooie rustige plek met zicht op de berg als het niet bewolkt is. Helaas hadden wij veel regen en hebben we de berg niet gezien.

Kamers met balkon en zicht op de berg zijn goed. Onze kinderen hadden kamers zonder uitzicht en die kamers waren beduidend minder. Wat met name mijn lager score bepaalt is dat mijn kinderen heel vroeg gewekt werden door schoonmaakpersoneel. Voor 7u in de ochtend waren ze aan het vegen en hard door hun telefoons aan het praten. Dit hield lang aan. Je kunt er toch vanuit gaan dat mensen op vakantie zijn en slapen. Dit doet geen recht aan de rustige accommodatie.

Très bel hôtel avec une vue magnifique et un personnel aux petits soins. Nous avions des fourmis dans la salle de bain à notre arrivée et tout de suite ils ont envoyés quelqu’un. Par contre aucun resto autour, obligé de manger à l’hôtel. Malheureusement nous avons eu de la pluie et donc très froid pour manger au resto les 2 soirs de suite (mais ce n’est pas leur faute). En tout cas prévoir un pull.

La déco des chambres est très simples. C’est vraiment pour trouver un point critique.

We had a wonderful stay at Tapa Agung View. The view of Mount Agung is absolutely stunning and was the highlight of our stay. Everything was excellent, from the peaceful atmosphere to the friendly service. We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for beautiful views and a relaxing stay.

Se podría realizar un pequeño mantenimiento de las habitaciones. En general la infraestructuras de todo el hotel son muy buenas pero pequeños detalles se podrian mejorar.

Sehr nettes Personal, vor allem im Restaurant. Lage vor dem Vulkan ist super magisch. Alles war sauber und grosszügig ausgestattet. Ich fühlte mich wohl und sicher und würde es wieder als Basis nutzen.

It is an amazing and enchanted place right under the Gunung Agung. The staff is exceptionally wonderful! Lovely are the small details like a personalized welcome letter or a little farewell gift.

Es handelt sich grundsätzlich um ein wirklich schönes Hotel mit einer tollen Aussicht auf den Berg bzw. Vulkan. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, schön gestaltet und sauber. Die Lage ist allerdings etwas abgelegen: Das Hotel liegt nicht direkt in Sidemen, sondern in einem kleinen lokalen Dorf in der Nähe des bekannten Besakih-Tempels. Wir hatten zunächst ein Standardzimmer gebucht, welches leider sehr klein, dunkel und sehr muffig bzw. feucht roch. Es fühlte sich insgesamt etwas klamm an. Es gab keinen Kühlschrank und kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten für Gepäck – eher eine kleine Kammer. Trotzdem war es sauber und es gab einen Fernseher. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und bot uns sogar kostenlos einen Zimmerwechsel an. Das neue Deluxe-Zimmer war deutlich besser: viel größer, mit größerem Bad, größerem Bett, Kühlschrank, Fernseher. Allerdings fanden wir auch dort hinter dem Bett unschöne Schimmel Spuren an der Wand und Ameisen im Zimmer. Man merkt einen sehr großen Unterschied zwischen den Zimmerkategorien. Ob man den Aufpreis dafür zahlen möchte, muss jeder selbst entscheiden – wir persönlich würden es nicht tun, da auch das Deluxe-Zimmer für den Preis nicht vollständig überzeugt hat. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und besonders, aber leider kam alles kalt an. Vor allem unser Eggs Benedict waren komplett kalt und wurden erst auf Nachfrage in der Mikrowelle erwärmt, wodurch die Konsistenz leider nicht mehr gut war. Da man die Frühstückszeit vorher angeben muss, hatten wir den Eindruck, dass das Frühstück vorbereitet und später wieder aus dem Kühlschrank geholt wird. Für diese Preisklasse hätten wir ein frisch zubereitetes Frühstück erwartet, wie wir es in anderen Hotels auf Bali erlebt haben. Ein wichtiger Hinweis zur Lage: Grab oder andere Fahrdienste funktionieren hier praktisch nicht bzw. werden oft abgelehnt oder nur zu deutlich höheren Preisen angeboten.

A szállás fekvése lenyűgöző, a környezet rendezett és tiszta. A szobák nagyon kis méretűek voltak és fürdőszoba is, ahol a wc elhelyezkedése kényelmetlen volt. Ez gyerekekkel volt csak gond, két felnőttnek tökéletes. Egyik szobában eldugult a mosdó, de azonnal javították. Nagyon jó minőségűek voltak az ételek és a kiszolgálás is tökéletes volt. Mindenki nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt. Egyik este pizzát rendeltünk a gyerekeknek, de nem volt ízletes. A tészta késztermék volt és a tetején rengeteg édes és csípős paradicsomszós volt, olyan, mintha csípős ketchup lett volna. Ezt nem ették meg a gyerekek, de én sem. Persze magamnak nem rendeltem volna Indonéziában pizzát. A pincér segítőkész és megértő volt, kérdezte az okát, hogy miért nem fogyasztottuk el, mert nekik fontos a visszajelzés. Ez a szállás mindezektől eltekintve tökéletes volt, főleg két felnőttnek.

Rien ! C’était très bien du début à la fin

C’est un très très belle hôtel. La vue est juste à couper le souffle, c’est LE gros point fort de l’hôtel. Les chambres sont bien et propre. L’hôtel est au calme, en plein dans un village de locaux.

Les restaurants sont quand même loin donc le soir c’est un peu compliqué avec la route montagneuse dans le noire. Difficile de trouvé une location de scooter appart celui de l’hôtel mais il faut négocier ! Le restaurant n’est vraiment pas bon, le petit déjeuner non plus. ( J’ai été malade 😢 ) Pour moi c’est le gros bémol. Mange de rangement dans la chambre, un frigo, un coffre fort.

Everything was conveniently provided at this hotel & the location for viewing Mt.Agung was exactly as per online statements absolutely worth the stay for the views. The staff and processes of stay was very systematic, friendly & helpful which allowed for plenty of privacy & independence during the stay. The location is also quiet & peaceful. I booked 2 nights here as I also wanted to climb Mt Agung on the first night. Mountain view rooms were very nice, spacious and clean. Comfy beds. The staff were also very friendly and helpful with organising the transport to and from the start points for me to go and meet my guide. They also arranged for my breakfast to be packed, and for massage appointments after the climb. Service at the restaurant was also excellent. The views of the volcano are spectacular. Although there are usually clouds in the afternoon which tend to obscure the view.

Pool water is cold. Even though the sun is up, I couldn't stay in the pool for long.

Wij hadden een comfortabele kamer met schitterend uitzicht op de Mount Agung. Echt een aanrader om bij zonsopgang vanaf het balkon te zien! Einde van de dag was deze niet meer te zien vanwege de bewolking, dus geen zonsondergang. Einde van de dag kwam het personeel vragen of we nog extra flesjes water wilden.

Prachtig uitzicht, keurige kamer, zeer vriendelijke receptie. Wij hebben er ook heerlijk gegeten.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the biggest highlight was definitely the stunning view, which made the experience even more special. The bathroom was clean, although it could benefit from better lighting - adding a lamp above the mirror would be a great improvement. The pool was also clean and enjoyable, and the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful.

The restaurant was acceptable, but the food was quite average and not particularly memorable. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay thanks to the beautiful setting and amazing view.

Eine wunderschöne Anlage. Der Blick auf den Vulkan vom Pool oder Zimmer aus ist einfach unschlagbar. Das Klima ist angenehm. Wir hatten den Pool praktisch den ganzen Tag für uns allein. Für Ausflüge sollte man mobil sein (Motorbike), dann kann man kleinere Ausflüge in die Umgebung machen. Der Muttertempel ist auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert Die Zimmer sind gehobener Standart - nicht außergewöhnlich aber sauber und mit dem Ausblick einfach wunderschön. Essen war super, genauso das Spa 👍🏻

Personnel adorable et au petits soins L’hôtel possède une petite salle de sport Literie très confortable et chambre spacieuse climatisée Nous avons eu besoin de partir à l’hôpital en urgence et l’hotel nous a directement mis à disposition un chauffeur pour faire l’aller retour dans la soirée pour un prix très abordable.

L’hôtel est situé à 35mn en voiture du centre de sidemen. Prévoir de louer un scooter ou taxi pour se déplacer.

The food was good but could be better. Mix the offerings possibly by introducing some daily specials. Breakfast could have some more variety but no complaints about quality. Some dishes came to the table less than hot.

It’s a little too far away from everything. Don’t recommend to stay there for a long time, there is not much to do around, except if you are going to go on excursions provided by hotel. Also I was staying for 2 days and both days it was cloudy, that’s why I didn’t really saw the whole mountain, so be prepared that it can happen

This place is definitely set up with one thing in mind - the view. And it is MAGNIFICENT. Very inspiring getaway to relax and write. The staff are incredible. Yuda was the kindest person in the world with a smile that warmed me up every time!

If you are looking for a true fancy resort with yoga, spa, wellness, gym, etc, this is not the place. It has those things, just not in grand resort fashion. But this place is great. 100% recommended.

Die Aussicht des Hotels ist atemberaubend! Genau so, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen! Alleine deshalb lohnt sich der Aufenthalt hier. In Verbindung mit dem Infinity Pool einfach traumhaft. Wir hatten als vierköpfige Familie zwei Zimmer gebucht (Deluxe Room with Mountain View & Suite with Pool View). Einige Zimmer verfügen über eine Verbindungstür. Leider war es bei uns nicht der Fall. Allerdings lagen unsere Zimmer nebeneinander, das war praktisch! Das Hotel besteht seit 2023 und ist top gepflegt! Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Nähe zum Besaki Tempel und den Vulkanen ist Vorteilhaft. Zum Tempel sind wir ca. 10 min gefahren! Das Essen im Restaurant war auch sehr lecker! Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig!

Of course, the main highlight of this hotel is the view of Mount Agung — it’s incredible. The volcano itself and the valley in front of it are just an amazing sight. We took a room with a mountain view and didn’t regret it. It was a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it. As for everything else, I’d say it’s fine — not outstanding, but perfectly decent.

Stunning views, nice and quiet. Staff are super friendly, helpful and always attentive towards the customers needs. I was given a farewell gift when I checked out after staying there for 6 days which was very touching. The staff and the service was just exceptional 🙏

Zeer mooi hotel met een prachtig uitzicht over de Agung mountain. De kamers zijn ook erg goed. We hadden bij de buitendeur een kleine mierenkolonie maar dat werd per direct goed opgelost! Het personeel is erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Je kreeg zelfs een afternoon high tea. Het ontbijt was lekker en de porties waren een prima formaat.

De mini gym is extreem mini, verwacht er niets van. Het is ook extreem heet daar binnen. Het zwembadwater was daarentegen weer erg koud helaas. Het diner is te duur voor wat je krijgt, we betaalde zelfs voor een glazen fles water van 350 ml omgerekend 4 euro, dat is echt schandalige afzetterij. Dus zorg voordat je hier heen gaat dat je genoeg water meeneemt. De pizzabodem was ook niet erg lekker, het was eerder een soort brood/koekdeeg dan een pizzabodem en het duurde zeer lang voordat het eten geserveerd werd. De excursies die worden aangeboden zijn ook echt te duur, boek die ergens anders. De taxiprijs naar Sanur was wel netjes en goed geregeld. Overigens wegwerpslippers in 2026 kan echt niet meer, die kan je namelijk tussen het koraal vinden over een paar weken aangezien in Bali al het afval in zee/ravijn gestort wordt. Ook kleine zeerpverpakkingen zijn eerder een vloek dan een zegen, stop daar mee
