Goede bedden lekker geslapen, fijne ruime kamers, rustig en stil. Ontbijt in bijzondere kerkzaal.

Eten vond ik wat minder en de bediening bij het eten. Als je vroeg wat voor saus het gerecht lag (bij een gerecht waar je dat niet verwacht), dan werd er aangegeven moet je aan de kok vragen, menu’s werden over een muurtje aangegeven. Douchen in bad.

A welcoming welcome, room location very convenient and clean/tidy. Breakfast overall very good, although cooked bit could have been a fresher eg bacon overdone, didn't feel it had been cooked on order.

Lovely welcoming ambience. Very comfortable room with modern decor. We ate in the bar and found the food and service excellent. Excellent choice and service at breakfast which was served in the old church restaurant - an unexpected bonus.

Outdated decor

Great hotel, staff were extremely helpful & friendly. Dinner was 2nd to none, especially the steak 😋. Breakfast in the Old Church Restaurant was inspired, by using the old Church without changing too much. Room was clean & comfortable, we slept well. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a great excuse to return & stay again

Comfortabel hotel. Goed ontbijt in leuke ruimte. airco.

Room was spacious,, quiet with nice bath and shower. A lot of storage in the room with ironing board so useful if you were staying for an extended period. Evening meal served in the bar was excellent.

Great hotel alternative to avoid sleeping in Derry, this hotel is close to ancient castle and the lake and has great service , breakfast is served inside ancient church. Staff is very friendly and helpful

The strips at the bottom of screen for the in bath shower was in serious need of replacing. A very easy fix. Couldn't say another bad word about the hotel.

Fixed shower head only worked - hand held shower head didn't, maybe just unlucky in my room..No bottled water in rooms. Breakfast options were fairly basic, but sufficient, yet the coffee was undrinkable - order tea and get a coffee elsewhere..

Staff in breakfast room were efficient, pleasant and well-groomed.

No air-conditioning in July heatwave, no fans available as they were ‘all gone’. View from unwashed window is a trellis fence. Ground floor room and corridor feels like a basement. Heavy old furnishings retaining musty smells. Flies in room on arrival. At check in was told meals are served in the bar until 845pm. At 630pm we made our way to the bar to have dinner, no one to greet us at entrance, after 5 minutes we were ushered in by manager who took us to the back room, pointed at a table for us to sit at in the corner. On approach we see it is loaded with neighbouring table’s rubbish. They take it back. Manager comes to ‘clean table’ ie wipe it with strong smelling wet cloth. No one asks us if we want a drink. We wait. 10 minutes later a very junior member of staff cleared the neighbouring table and mentioned apologetically that there is at least 30 minutes wait for food ‘because of the beer garden’ we leave and drive 8 miles to a supermarket to get snacks. Disappointed especially when we had checked the menu in the afternoon. Breakfast- very small bowl of porridge. Lots of cereals but only 1 big bowl of fruit salad. Poached egg tasted of vinegar. Coffee tasted like a bad blend. A grand facade with lingering bad smells in need of carpet shampooing, air conditioning and new showers.

Small things. Key reader in room damaged , lack of uk tv channels , very poor WiFi. No fridge or water in rooms. No tissues in room . So many little things that if addressed would make this place great,

The staff were warm, welcoming and professional. They helped out our other family staying nearby when a water outage occurred. They were so helpful and kind.

Need to get a taxi to other locations but this is a minor point as the taxis are reasonably priced and regular.

Breakfast a bit mixed porridge brilliant but orange juice undrinkable not sure what it was. Food in evening was good and staff in bar and on reception brilliant. There was a large wedding reception when we arrived and although lots of people it wasn't a problem the hotel absorbed it really well. Lovely nights sleep. It us next to a very busy road so not a place you would walk from.

Breakfast was a bit limited but was cooked to order.
