We had a great stay at the Pantheon hotel - the hotel is lovely and quiet and the staff are amazing and really helpful. The pool and bar area are immaculately clean. Our room was as described - the only thing I would improve is storage for clothes - the wardrobe area is small and there is no chest of drawers in the room. However the rooms are cleaned every day and fresh towels provided which is a nice touch. Breakfast is the same every day - there is a choice but quite limited - this is a minor issue as everything else was perfect.
Nice quiet place to stay.
Really nice hidden gem. In great walking distance to the bus stop and not a bad walk (10 minutes) to the beach. Great restaurants near by and the beach is amazing. Staff was very friendly but sometimes hard to find a person if you needed help.
I had a really nice stay. The hotel is super clean, the room was spacious. Its a very quiet hotel in a quiet area.Only con is that you really need a car to move around. There is a bus stop close by but it mostly just go to the main town of fira ,not great connections The receptionist is super friendly and helpful. She gave very good recommendations of places to visit and restaurants.
The hotel is amazing. Staffs were friendly & very professional. Made you feel at home, but with holiday experience. Rita told us the amazing places to visit & how to get there conveniently. The cleaners were spot on with their cleaning. And, breakfast wasn't too heavy but nice & healthy. Would def go there & recommend
The loveliest, warmest and most charming service in the multiverse. We adored Villa Olympia mostly for the wonderful and very kind staff. It's not state of the art modern 'Kardashian' LA villa, or Oia chique in light grey hues. If white caves in rock faces with wow sunset views of the caldera is what you are looking for - and you can afford £1,000 a night - then head to clifftop Oia, but we actually loved being a stroll from the beach, and we found Villa Olympia's 70s decor, complete with the 'tacky' Athena and Poseidon statues in alcoves, a refreshing and actually 'inverse' cool change from modern minimalism, it was a walk into extremely nice and convivial genuine retro. Lovely to have a view with the sea in the distance. And, the garden is full of olives and pomegranate trees: altogether extremely pleasant. A truly lovely place to rest and relax in a Greek family atmosphere with fab food at the bar. Outstanding friendly and charming service. In Greek, 'Se agapame', or 'we love you' Villa Olympia!
Cozy, romantic, lovely, beautiful view place to stay. I could just stey there forever!
Hotel was very nice, extremely comfortable and lovely facilities. Nice big pool and close to beaches and restaurants. Easy transfers through the hotel to the port and airport. Bus services near by but they weren’t really reliable. Ritsa was lovely and very helpful. Overall a very nice stay here.
We had a very good stay at the hotel and the best family to take care of us, we tank you Rita and to your family.
Lovely villa and lovely family to take care of us.
We stayed here one night while trying to figure out the rest of our trip. Would def stay longer next time. Rita, who manages the place was amazing. So helpful and friendly. She arranged a transfer from the airport which was much cheaper than using a taxi and was so helpful when it came to giving us ideas about the island and where to find COVID tests. Very nice pool and a 10 min walk to the beach and lots of restaurants
The location was a short walk to the beach with many food options. A short walk to Perissa as well. At the end of the road their a supermarket which was convenient for buying water to keep in the room in a fridge provided.
Villa Olympia is absolutely beautiful! The staff are friendly and helpful and it's just minutes away from a gorgeous strip of black Beach, Mera. Rissa was full of information and always smiling. I'll recommend this place to all my friends! Can't wait to go back
Very nice hotel, close to Perissa Beach. The receptionist and staff were extremely friendly.
Just returned from a weeks holiday and everything was just as we expected. All good. All the staff were great. Rita's on reception was exceptional.
Very very nice hotel, so clean you won't believe! First thing though, beware of the little white dog! He doesn't seem to like most people, the other dog is very friendly as is the cat! Our room was really nice! And felt very Greek, the cleaners do an amazing job each day it has to be said. The pool is a good size, feels cold! But that's more because the heat there, but just jump in it's fine. Breakfast has a good variety to choose from and during the day you can order food etc. Location wise it's good (Santorini you tend to need to travel so see things anyway) only 5 - 10 minutes walk to the beach & restaurants. There is a bus stop 2-3 minutes walk though I never used buses there. The hotel can help with renting cars, quads & bikes.
Villa Olympia is amazing! It is so well run, incredibly clean (spotless) and beautiful! It is so nice and quiet, relaxing both during the day and at night. The pool area is beautiful and very well maintained, so enjoyable to spend time by the pool! Our room was looked after every day, fresh towels and cleaned so that at the end of the day we felt looked after. The breakfast is great, and the times offered were perfect. A very short walk to the beach with tons of restaurants to choose from. No matter what your request they are there to help you, even when we had difficulty with our ferry they offered help and were always around to make sure you had everything you needed for a great stay. I cannot say enough good things about this place and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family! I hope to stay there again in the future.
This is a very nice small resort with beautiful landscaping and great pool. It is a little more rural with farm fields on the other side of the street. The front desk lady was always very friendly and helpful. The location is about a five minute walk from Perivolos beach. Perivolos beach has the same black sand as Perissa beach which is a 20 to 30 minute walk along the beach. Perivolos has a good assortment of restaurants with beach chairs available if you dine or drink at the establishment. It cost us €35 to take a minivan from the ferry port to the resort. The hotel has van service into the city for €30. Bus service is fairly consistent throughout the island. The location is a little out of the way from the cities and it is a rural walk to get to the beach. The accommodations were a little cramped as there were literally only two bedrooms no other sitting area or balcony. One bedroom had a full-size bed and the other had two twin beds and a rollaway crammed in along with a small sink and a mini fridge with not a lot of room to move around. Overall. very nice quiet place. Rooms were a little small for a family of five. A little out-of-the-way from the cities.
Really enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble - we had a great time
10 minute walk to the beach. Excellent property, very helpful and friendly staff with good English. Lovely island lots of beautiful places and good frequent bus service to get around
We were fortunate in staying in the split level sea view rooms which are very spacious with excellent roof terrace, The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels and bed linen. The hotel is a family run business we found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating, especially Risla at front desk, equally they were not intrusive. Our holiday break was at the end of the school holidays, early September, so no children at this time, the weather was hot ( 30 degrees) the swimming pool was a nice size , kept very clean, plenty of sunbeds. The hotel is literally less than a 10 minute walk to the beach, a very accommodating euro-market store en -route to the beach. ( try the local Santorini wine ) The resort itself was quite, nearing end of season, but a further walk down the beach road to Perissa was found to be much more lively with plenty of bars and restaurants. ideal venue for couples.
Was our 3 trip to hotel. First time in 1998, has grown a lot.
Our stay at Villa Olympia was excellent. The hotel's driver met us at the airport and drove us to the hotel which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast in the morning was great, and a good price. Our room was air conditioned and had a safe for passports, etc. We felt very safe and well cared for here. Would recommend to anyone planning on staying in Santorini.
First night in their new building know T.V.Second night know electricity.Told the owners the next day and they said would have their electrician fix it after he got off work at 5:00 p.m.It was fixed at 7:30 p.m.Then one night went into their resturant and had a beer.It had rain the day before. The bartender had to get a bucket to catch the rain that was dripping from the ceiling.Great bartender by the way. Then within minutes a 4x6 sheet rock from the ceiling fell.I had my telephone and tablet stolen prior to arrival to their hotel.I asked the owners if I could use their phone to call back to the USA.They said I could call anywhere in Greece but that is why they have wifi.If one does not have a phone one cannot call regardless if they have wifi. One night was biten by fleas. The owners have two dogs which I sure is the reason why. Also don't plan in sleeping in because the maid will come at 10:30 am3.They don't offer donot disturb signs so prepared for the knocking on the door.If you don't have a car I would stay closer to the so called beach.I met a couple who were staying in the older building and asked how their stay was going. The gentleman told me he had gone to the front desk because of a toilet problem. He said he waited two hours and know one showed up.He finally fixed it himself. When I left the maid swore at me in Greece and the other maid laugh.Allot of respect for their clientale.
Lovely hotel, staff, pool and dogs! We were very welcomed. Would stay again!
We had a great time at Villa Olympia. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was a decent size with a small pool for babies and free towels.
We travelled to Santorini for a wedding, and were a party of 5 (2 adults and 3 children). We chose Villa Olympia as we struggled to get a family room that catered for 5 people, the majority cater for a family of 4. The room had a double bed and single bed downstairs and 2 single beds upstairs, plus a toilet upstairs and another one downstairs which was ideal for us. We also chose Villa Olympia as it was about 5 minutes off the beach front so was nice and quiet. The pool was a good size and never over crowded. Villa Olympia is a family run Hotel and they could not do enough for us. We were collected and taken back to the airport, we were advised as to which hairdressers to use for the wedding and myself and my 2 daughters were taken and brought back. We were taken to a party and brought back again in the early hours of the morning. The family are so friendly and helpful and it was an absolute joy to stay there. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day and was always immaculate each time we returned. Overall, we could not fault it.
A lovely large pool, that, like the accommodation, was very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. The weather too was fantastic, as were the owners of the various bars along the beach front.
Beautiful villa for relax with family, close to carrefour supermarket, close to beach. We loved our stay there andif i go back to santorini i will difenatly book with them again
Nothing was working, electricity on and off internet very slow AC not working etc.
We were very let down with this hotel unfortunately. When we arrived we soon found out that the pictures looked nothing like the photos. We were put in a triple room right at the back of the property - it was next to the laundry room - fittings weren't even on lights, door handles jammed - mysterious stains on the shower tiles. The swimming pool was actually green and had some swimming organisms in it. We stayed the one night and left the next day. Sheets were clean - that was handy. It's upsetting we the place is falsely advertised.
The stay was brilliant, and the service was outstanding. People went out of their way to provide exceptional service to customers, which is not very commonly experienced. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.
This hotel is run by a family, they are always smiling and happy to help you on any request. Breakfast is better than most hotels, and you eat it with the pool and ocean view. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. We love this small hotel. We stayed at the beggining of May 2015, it was low season and the pool was a bit cold but it was still so nice to relax by it and take the sun
They've treated us as family, the food was delicious, the aer vice is really nice, helpful, kind. The hotel is far from the city but it was 15 min walking away from the beach, there's a bus stop near the hotel and it's just 2 euros to go to the city center, the hotel is really calm, the pool area was great, always clean. I've really enjoy my staying here!! At the end they gave us a coffee cup from santorini as a gift, that was a great touch. I recommend this hotel because it's cheap, really nice, comfortable and it was good for family, friends, couples. The area is really nice, and the owners were a beautiful family, really kind and friendly.
Welcomed at the airport by the family we were quickly settled into our newly painted comfortable room with patio. Breakfast was offered in the poolside breakfast room/ bar and was varied and plentiful. The pool area was clean with plenty of sun beds a large pool and jacuzzi . Bar service and food were available all day at reasonable prices. Staff were helpful and recommended trips and excursions. We would go back.
Lovely room. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. They organised transport when we wanted it and took us in the hotel car when a taxi wasn't available. Beach is within walking distance - had a great time.
Villa Olympia is lovely family run villa. Beautiful well kept pool and dining areas. Helpful and friendly staff who were always willing to help. Reeta was always available and advised us on places to visit. She also arranged a hire car and island tour with no problems. The island tour was excellent value for money but take trainers or walking shoes as well as flip flops or sandals for this. Lots of walking on rough terrain when climbing the volcano. We stayed in studio room which had a fridge and kitchenette area ideal for making a simple meal. Beachfront restaurants are 10 minutes away and offer a huge selection of food. Prices for virtually everything are much cheaper in Perivolos than in Thira and other parts of the island. Hiring a car or quad is the best way to really see this beautiful island. (25-30 euros for a small car per day). We felt safe at all times and locals were friendly and helpful.
Hotel staff extremely hospitable and provided their own taxi service to us for trips across the island. Rooms very clean and tidy, comfortable beds and large breakfast selection each day. Close to beach (10 min walk) and a variety of different restaurants both by the beach or up on the main road. Pool very clean and a large amount of sunbeds to accommodate all staying there. Would definitely stay again
Very satisfy. The staffs are all very friendly and helpful. Room is clean and a lovely balcony. The place is 7 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop and 10 minutes walk to the beach.
We like Villa Olympia, service is very nice.Wi-fi is very good, room clean every day.Beach is very close from the hotel.Family show us on the map best places to visit they are very friendly.I will came back to Villa Olympia.
I stayed Villa Olympia and we had really beautiful stay.Free transfer from the port, very friendly family, breakfast is very tasty with full of choices.Room clean every day with fresh towels and sheets also there is very nice view from our room to the big garden many palm trees and flowers.Pool is big and clean with many sunbeds.Wi-fi is very good.Close to the beach, restaurant, shops and bus stop, buses is running every 20 min.you can visit santorini with bus very eazy.Familly is very helpful i love Villa Olympia i will recomend 100%
Villa Olympia is family owned and run. The breakfast buffet is no frills and nothing to write home about but it gets the job done and fills you up. Only seven minutes away is the excellent black sands beach. The bus stop is only two minutes down the road and can get you to anywhere on the island. Ritsa and her father even set us up with the outdoor bbq for a nice night of grilling one evening. Cheap beers at the pool bar and a very relaxing environment.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Olympia. The family who run this villa were extremely hospitable, friendly and really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable! The location is perfect - a 3 minute walk from Perivolos Beach strip lined with restaurants and lounges, a mere 10 minute walk from our favourite beach Perissa, 2 minutes from the bus stop and 3 minutes from the local bakery and market! The service was top class, the pool area so beautiful (that you could even spend your whole holiday just at the villa) and the family really friendly and ready to help whenever required! The only areas that could be proved upon is the size of the bathroom and quality of the mattresses (although we had the standard room so maybe this is why). All in all it was a fantastic stay and if we ever find ourselves in Santorini again, will definitely be returning to Villa Olympia!
Everything was amazing at villa Olympia. We had late flight and they picked us up from the airport, the last night we do late check out for free and the deliver us back to the port.Rooms very clean fresh towels and sheets, hot water goof wi-fi from our room..Breakfast buffet full of choice.Around pool there is a jacuzzi for free, clean area.Close to the beach and restaurant.Pool bar is very good prices, food is amazing very cheap and tasty.Hotel have big garden with lot of palm tress.I would highly recommend!!!
Very nice hotel, clean, good service, friendly, good breakfast and food.I will came back.
We stayed in Villa Olympia for a complete week and the experience was really nice. The staff were very friendly and attentive, they really cared about us, specially Ritsa. Our room was every day clean and tidy; and the air conditioner worked perfect (very important for us, we were there with 45 degrees celsius!!!). The best thing about the hotel was the breakfast... delicious, abundant and fresh. A great day starting. The location is very convenient; very close to Perivolos beach (10 min walk), one of the best beaches of the island in our opinion. We rent a car and a squad bike from the hotel (most convenient prices) and we were able to travel and see all the island. Nice bakeries around as well.
my husband and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary and we were thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. hotel staff were amazing and extremely friendly. It was also very close to the Perissa Beach (10 mins away) which I would say is one of the best beaches in Santorini. There is also a nice swimming pool in the hotel if you decide to not go anyway for the day. The hotel management decorated our room and also gave us a complimentary wine to commemorate our wedding anniversary. We couldnt have asked more for the price we paid. Truly amazing
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay and would return again. We were picked up from the ferry, delivered to the resort and returned, at no extra charge, by the charming son of the owner. The room was small and clean and had a little terrace outside with clothesline to dry beach wear, safety box, and AC, etc. The bathroom was very small, but lots of hot water in the shower. The pool was small but clean and the surrounding terrace very nicely done. The snack bar served full meals of typical Greek food. The food was well prepared and the servings huge. We were able to share one salad and a main dish between us with plenty to spare. Breakfast was included and consisted of a good selection of various types of food. The staff were very friendly and helpful and suggested a day tour of Santorini and adjacent islands, which was well worth the trip. The tour picked us up in a nearby town and brought us back to the hotel. Our resort made the arrangements and took us to the meeting point. The surrounding area was dry and a bit barren, but there was a black sand beach within walking distance which offered many restaurants and bars as well as beach chairs and umbrellas for rent. Overall, it was a peaceful place to relax as it was a small resort and away from crowds after three days in Athens. I would be happy to spend more time there.
We recently came back from a week-long stay at Villa Olympia. Friendly and helpful family of staff from start to finish with pick-up from the airport. We did have to change room after the first night as it was right next to reception/breakfast but there was no problem in doing so (in low-season) and we got a great room. There did seem to be some variance on room quality, we saw 3 in total and they did vary particularly with the bathrooms. Lovely pool area where we spent several days with plenty of sunbeds and peace and quiet. An adequate list of options for lunch although this could be a little more extensive and the bar a little better stocked - particularly in drinks and ice-cream options. Breakfast of a typical European buffet was nothing extravagant but did the job. Great location for some peace, it's not right on the beach but for couples looking to relax it is perfect and close enough to still walk/borrow a bike into Perissa & Perivolos beach. The staff also have info on quads/vehicle hire which we definitely recommend to get the most out of the island and was very hassle free. Overall a great choice if you don't have a huge budget, the rooms were adequate, staff helpful and the pool area ideal. Whilst driving around we saw many other hotels and were very pleased with our choice and its location.
Being a last minute booking, literally, we priced a hotel in the mid- range believing we would be in a moderately good hotel. There was no soap or shampoo in the room, the beds were ok, and the room was so so. The surroundings were nice and well kept and the pool was good for our daughter. The people seemed friendly, the breakfast was satisfactory for a continental style breakfast. The location is abit off the main road and a fair distance from the beach. Overall it is a little to overpriced - to bring it up to match the price they need to replace the mattresses, provide soap and shampoo, (and move the beach closer, I know impossible).
everything about this "hotel" was a horrible experience. from the ferry pick up where the driver refused to help us with our bags, to the location (in the middle of the desert with nothing else in site) to the facilities themselves. the rooms are old, dirty and poorly kept - they didn't even have soap or shampoo! the "hotel" staff was completely unhelpful and had limited knowledge on the island. i wouldn't stay here if you paid me - a glorified hostel at best.
