Fundamentalmente necesito denunciar una estafa por parte de la recepción. Del hotel que me cobraron doble la misma estadía y nunca me lo comunicaron . Casualmente me aloje otra vez allí y tb cobraron dos precios diferentes o la misma estadía Se hicieron los desentendidos y dijeron que solo podían devolver el dinero con póster Ya que no figura la fecha en que se hace la transacción Me enviaron. Y me dieron dos papelitos que decía rechazado La estafa fue el 16 de agosto y solo cuando volví a alojarme y nos dimos cuenta del doble cobro en booking y por QR que ellos mandaron por emails . No uno dos diciendo que no entraba el cobro. Tengo horas de los pagos a las 17, a las 15 y a las 18. Necesito denunciar esta estafa y que me devuelvan mi dinero o vayan presos .

I don’t like that. You have to pay for the towel to go to the beach. There is no iron in the room. Everything is charged for any service that you need. That’s just a bit misleading.

The hotel was in a good location and the outdoor areas and pool looked lovely. The staff we dealt with were polite, and the hotel eventually agreed to refund three of the four nights booked.

Unfortunately, the condition of the room we were initially given was unacceptable. Our main concern was mould coming from the air-conditioning system, which made us uncomfortable staying there. Although alternative rooms were offered, we ultimately felt we had to leave and find alternative accommodation at short notice, causing significant disruption and additional expense.

Lovely pool area Breakfast was a good selection however our grandson went up to order omelet for him his mum and dad and was told she was too busy to do three so he only came back with one when my daughter went up to ask why he was only allowed one she was very rude to my daughter

A la piscina le faltaba un poco de mantenimiento. La vista al mar tiene una explanada muy descuidada que arruina el paisaje.

Un très bon emplacement mais déçu par le refus d'attribuer une chambre avec une vue sur mer alors que c'était mentionné lors de la réservation. Il a fallu payer un complément de 25 euros par nuit pour obtenir une vue latérale sur mer.

As soon as I arrived at the hotel, it had a beautiful smell. All the communal areas were of a high standard, with lots of seating areas, and were extremely clean and cozy. It was yards away from the beach, restaurants, and shops; a prime location, 20-25 mins from the airport.

Lack of entertainment around the pool area, music, aqua water sports, and aerobics. We had a junior suite, a nice room with a sea view and the mini bar free for the first round. It was clean, but a little area was missed in the bathroom on the counter and a dirty opener for the mini bar, a few dirty plates at breakfast and dinner. For a 4*, this shouldn’t happen. We did half-board. The breakfast had a variety and was really good; dinner I found much more limited. They had themed nights from different countries, which was a nice touch.

Parking public alors que sur booking il est spécifié que c’est le parking se l’hotel, ils ont modifié cette information entre temps 3 eur / jour pour le coffre fort : c’est pas sérieux …. Le dépose minutes qui normalement devrait servir aux clients pour prendre ou déposer leurs valises au plus proche de l’entrée de l’hôtel ne sert finalement qu’au Directeur pour parquer sa voiture, ce que nous a fait savoir un membre du personnel , et qui confirme que bcp de clients se plaignent mais que finalement on ne change pas cette règle Personnel ok mais sans plus - besoin de plus d’empathie envers les clients Petit déjeuner sous stress, à 10h30 tapante les lumières s’éteignent et le personnel débarrasse en faisant le plus de bruit possible pour mieux vous dégoûter…

The room was spacious, the view from the balcony, the bed was comfortable and the swimming pools vey good.

Room cleaning. The maid didn't clean the room, she only made the beds. Not even the floor was swept. Another thing that disappointed us was the themed food, with few options and not including truly typical dishes, which was disappointing. We stayed four nights there and only ate the first two nights and then didn't eat anymore because the food was always the same, without much novelty and as I said, the typical dishes weren't worth it. But the food was well prepared.

The breakfast was great with a large selection and plenty of food. The room was comfortable, and the location was excellent. You can walk to the beach in about 3 minutes, and restaurants and shops are nearby.

Parking was expensive for hotel guests. The hotel should offer a discounted rate, or at least cover part of the parking cost, especially since other hotels along the strip offer guest parking discounts.

Demasiado ruido en los pasillos, falta de atención por parte del socorrista dejando jugar al balón en la piscina, una mujer duchándose con champú en la ducha de la piscina y después a sus dos hijos menores. El restaurante de la terraza del hotel con un solo camarero para todas las mesas, claramente el pobre no podía llegar bien a todas. Falta de productos típicos como jamón en el bufet, por ejemplo. Gritos y juegos de niños en la terraza del hotel después de las 12 de la noche, lo que impedía el descanso a las habitaciones que daban a esa terraza.

Todo menos la estafa de dinero que nos hicieron mintiendo que no llegaba el pago y presionando todo el tiempo por tel como buenos ladrones o Sin querer vuelvo a alojarme e. El hor y salta el cargo doble que no pensaban pagar nunca y de ahí en Max intentaban por postner que actuemos si. Pensar . Pagamos dos veces más de 1500 dólares y decir a qué no impactaba el pago que el QR estaba vencido y habíamos pagado y mandaron otro diciendo en 5 mi. Vence pagamos y nos robaron.

Overall we had a decent stay at the Occidental, but a few things stopped it being a 4-star review. The location is great for the beach, although it’s around a 10–15 minute walk to the main concentration of restaurants and bars. We only ate breakfast at the hotel. There’s a really good range, although the hot food wasn’t great. Fruit, breads, cheeses and meats were all good. Our room was fairly standard and not particularly big. It was fine rather than memorable, although the sink not draining properly was annoying. Noise levels were good — generally a pretty quiet hotel with mainly adults and not loads of kids running around. The overall atmosphere is relaxed, although entertainment is fairly limited if that’s something you’re looking for. The pool is a great size with a shallow end for kids and a proper deep end, but the rules and lifeguarding let it down. No balls or inflatables despite no obvious signage, yet pool noodle battles are apparently fine. Some lifeguards were attentive; others spent far too much time on their phones. Three large plant pots also obstruct their view of parts of the pool, including the deep end, which seems an odd setup. The strangest moment was when a bird pooed on my pool towel and I asked to swap it. I was told towels can only be changed every three days unless you pay. Turns out that genuinely is hotel policy. For a premium hotel, picking a fight over a couple of euros to replace a bird- covered towel seems a strange choice! Drinks were reasonably priced, the beach location is excellent and there’s plenty to like. Sort out some of the petty pool policies and improve the lifeguarding and this could easily be a 4/5. As it stands, a fair 3/5

Our first visit to this hotel after being recommended by friends . Our experience was very good , our room being large with very good bathroom facilities and extremely comfortable beds . Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea which if you wanted to sit outside provided a comfortable area .The pool area is excellent. Although we had only breakfast during our stay we were very satisfied with that.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a really good experience overall. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The room was spacious and quiet, with a comfortable bed that made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out went smoothly. The location worked well for what I needed, and the amenities on site were convenient and of good quality. I felt well looked after from start to finish and would happily stay here again. A solid, enjoyable hotel experience.

La ubicación y de recepción Moises,un gran profesional que se preocupa porque el cliente esté bien!!! Demasiado guiri,muchos portazos a altas horas de la madrugada,gritos y peleas sin respetar a nadie,el desayuno muy escaso tirando a mal,un hotel 4 estrellas que no tenga mermelada dietética me parece increíble… El tema piscina que hagan cola desde las 8:30 hrs para poner las toallas un desastre sinceramente… Ahhh y el tema desayuno que cogen la comida con las manos es asqueroso sinceramente!!! Una pena que pagues un dinero x ir de vacaciones y no se pueda descansar lo primero y lo segundo no tener las comodidades que tienes en tu casa!!! Das Zimmer war zu klein und überhaupt nicht sauber - die Wände waren verdreckt, der Schrank war zu klein und dreckig, die Ecken wurden nicht geputzt. Der Pool war zu klein und der komplette Bereich hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch. Es gab nicht genug Sonnenschirme. Am Strand musste man für die Sonnenliegen zahlen. Der Essbereich morgens war extrem laut.

Très agréable séjour à l’Occidental Fuengirola by Barceló. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la qualité de l’accueil, la gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel. L’hôtel est très bien situé, face à la mer et à proximité de la promenade, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement de Fuengirola. La chambre était confortable, propre et bien entretenue, et les espaces communs étaient également très agréables. Le petit-déjeuner était varié et de bonne qualité, avec un choix appréciabl. Malgré ce point, nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille et gardons un très bon souvenir de notre expérience. Une adresse que je recommande volontiers et où nous pourrions revenir avec plaisir.

Le seul point négatif concerne le stationnement. L’hôtel ne dispose pas de parking pour les clients, ce qui peut être assez contraignant, notamment pour les personnes voyageant en voiture. Il est donc préférable de prévoir à l’avance une solution de stationnement à proximité.

Spent ten days here with a friend and found this to be a good hotel for what we wanted albeit nothing special. Upon arrival first impressions were good, the lobby is fresh and modern. Check in was fairly straightforward although we did discover we'd need to pay 3 euros a day to use the safe...I don't remember the last time I had to pay for a hotel safe and I wouldn't expect to in a 4 star hotel. We did pay and then had to make a return trip to reception because the battery was flat when we tried to set it up...this was however quickly resolved by maintenance. Room was fine, clean and tidy and functional for our stay with comfortable beds and a good shower. The empty fridge was quite handy, there's a supermarket just outside where you can stock up on water etc. We also had a kettle, tea and coffee which was replenished most of the time. Wardrobe space however was very lacking with nowhere to hang longer dresses at all and the bathroom had an odd layout with the toilet crammed in the corner...the hairdryer was one of the infuriating push button ones and if you have long hair which you actually want to dry I'd recommend bringing your own... We were bed and breakfast and found there was a good selection at the breakfast buffet, the hotel seemed pretty full and it never felt too busy and was always being replenished. Staff were efficient and always clearing tables which really helped. The pool area was nice and the gate not being opened until 9.30am saves any of the 6am sunbed shenanigans, there was a queue some mornings when we headed past for breakfast but we still always got a sunbed. The pool does however closes for 7pm which feels a bit early when it's still 30-odd degrees. Pool bar was good and made really nice cocktails and the staff working in there were excellent, the pizzas and loaded fries were good for lunch but could have done with some other options if you wanted something lighter. We found the other outside bar to be a little haphazard, very unclear if you order at the bar or if it's table service and drink quality really varied depending on who made it. We did eat there once at lunchtime and found it to be quite overpriced for what it was. The restaurant attached to the hotel however was nice - it specialises in rice dishes and only opens for lunch although we found it odd that at no point in our stay was it mentioned to us or that we could book via reception. We decided to pay for a bali bed for the day twice, the 50 euro cost includes a bottle of cava or jug of sangria, two drinks at the bar and a fruit platter. It is made quite clear you have to pre-book this at reception so you would then expect them to know which day you are booked for...but the pool staff had no idea so we had to hunt down the cava etc. We accepted on the first day that there may have been some miscommunication and it was all resolved quickly and we had a pleasant day. The second time however it happened again...and then some handymen turned up to try and install curtains on said bali beds whilst we were laying on them...what was particularly irksome about this was a member of reception staff stood outside with them chatting for quite some time but at no point thought to mention to us that they were going to attempt to move us/carry out works on the bed we'd paid to be on. When choosing to pay to use additional amenities I would expect the service to be much better. The best part of this hotel is the location, you walk out of the back gate and onto the sea front promenade from where you can easily walk to more bars and restaurants than you'd ever need. We had some really nice and very good value food whilst in Fuengirola and would definitely recommend exploring some of the smaller restaurants down some of the little side streets. Overall we had a nice stay although don't think we'd look to return, it did its job as a place to sleep and shower but we've stayed in other hotels along this coastline at a similar price point which have been better.

Wij komen hier vaker. Top locatie aan het strand. Ontbijtbuffet is erg uitgebreid. Veel vers fruit (juli). Diner hadden wij in buffetvorm. Elke dag een ander thema (landen). De kamer is groot en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zwembad hadden wij altijd een ligstoel.

Voor de safe huur moet je betalen.

This is a great hotel in a great location. From check in to check out, I could find very little to fault. We were a family of 2 adults and an 11yr old and booked a Junior Suite with sea view. The room was great and would be fine if you had a second child if they were ok to share the double sofa bed. Cleaning was impeccable. Breakfast was fantastic, the best hotel breakfast we’ve had on any of our family holidays, there’s also Cava if you want a sneaky mimosa to start your day! We ate there on occasion for lunch and it was lovely. The pool bar food wasn’t bad, they do pizza and sides etc if you want to eat poolside. The staff overall were lovely, we had a small issue with one rude server in the bar area on one occasion but it did not reflect the overall standard of service so we didn’t bother complaining. We didn’t see her again. On our last day the hotel was fully booked so we couldn’t get late check out but we were able to store luggage, lounge by the pool and take a shower in the gym before we left, you need to book a shower time slot so be mindful of that. The pool area was great, nice breeze from the sea at times and whilst people did queue ahead of the 9.30am opening to lay towels on sunbeds, we did not witness any sunbed wars!! We tended to go to the pool later in the afternoon and never had an issue getting a sunbed. On the 2 occasions we went at 9.30am we also had no difficulty. This hotel caters for everyone, there were families , couples, groups etc. Lovely vibe and would highly recommend. It’s slightly more expensive than some other hotels in the area but it’s clear why it is. It was worth every penny for what we wanted.
