Hôtel Restaurant Georgette

Great place. Restaurant below is very good. Staff are amazing both at the restaurant and at the hotel

Incredibly small room. Good location, not comfortable bed

Amazing helpful staff. Bed was so unbelievably comfy and spacious. Room was clean and had everything that was needed. Handy being able to walk most places

The rooms were the most unique in Paris and rather edgy.

Very nice, convenient hotel

Easy access from the train station and very quiet too.

The pictures are COMPLETEly different than what they had online

Great location! Great hotel! Great and super friendly staff! Only complain would be the weak WiFi. Had a really nice stay overall!

I booked and paid for a « superior » room but I think we were out in a classic room, which is a bit smaller. The person at the front desk told me the only difference was that the room she was checking us in to didn’t have a bath tub, which was ok with us. But I believe it was also smaller - which was not ok. Our room also did not have a hair dryer.

Walking distance to all the sights

We left our luggage and when we returned to check-in the luggage had been taken to our room. Great service!

Great hotel and staff!

Very conveniently located near Châtelet Les Halles, cozy room, delicious breakfast and friendly service. The room was very clean and just the right size for the time we spent in it. Highly recommended!

Small room, but great location for exploring Paris,

Everything was fine, location was amazing, metro nearby. Room was smallish but very clean. The only downsize is my 100 euro deposit was not refunded as I was told. I contacted the property by email but no answer. Previously to that communication was very good.

The staff at Hotel Georgette were magnifique! So friendly and helpful. The rooms were okay, but not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. The cleanliness and details weren’t there. My nightstand, for instance, was broken and unbolted from the wall. You could see the hole in the wall and the broken leg of the wobbly stand. I did not complain or mention it because it did not make a huge difference, but definitely something I noticed. The hotel is very small without a lot of amenities, which we were fine with. It was walkable to many points of interest and was overall quiet. The shower was the best part of the room! If you are looking for a small boutique hotel and don’t care about the bells and whistles, then I would recommend!

Renovated Excellent service Excellent location

The AC was not working... The room is not in very good conditions...

Had a fantastic stay at Hoyel Georgette cannot recommend highly enough. Staff are fantastic credibly helpful and very pleasant. Room was stunning and very easy to get to all main sights of Paris. Will definitely stay again

Very nice, clean, great location, friendly

Tasteful decor, comfortable beds, good food at the restaurant. Amazing location in proximity to a wide variety of dining and entertainment options as well as metro stations.

Great service and location.

Great staff.! Great location.! Very convenient. 12 minute walk to Notre Dame.

Great location, and the room was very nice and cleaned to a high standard. The air conditioning was good to have and the front desk was very nice and helpful

Great location, comfortable and clean room

Walking distance from train. Also walkable to Sea and restaurants. And most activities

Perfectly located, in easy walking distance to all places of interest but away from the tourist crowds. Accommodation clean and well presented. Only negative, lift out of service during the stay and having to negotiate the stairs after a long day

Paying so much h for a room above the restaurant who stays open blaring music past 1am when they told us it’s shuts down at 11pm was totally unacceptable. Taller young male at desk during this time was just plain nasty when we complained. Super way overpriced for size of the room and services provided. Many other places much better value in same neighborhood. Barely a place to put suitcase, no closet to hang clothing nor drawers. Avoid.

Great location! Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable.

Small clean room. The restaurant downstairs plays loud dance music until 1am. Basically you are above a bar to be prepared for that.

The bed was very comfortable one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in for a while. It was very central and most of the attractions were within walking distance if you were prepared to walk. We walked to the Eiffel Tower. Very central for shopping and there was a very diverse offering of food establishments on your doorstep. I had a very enjoyable weekend stay with my wife. I hope to return.

The staff is friendly and the location is within walking distance of various eateries.

It was very nice hotel . Very trendy. Room was nice . Comfortable. Just when I checked in reception said breakfast is included. So come at 8 am if u wanna have an eggs . But when I went to downstairs in the morning, they said No including the breckfast. I got confused. Which is right !!!! Anyway overall very good .

Room was very small but it was clean and met our needs. Very conveniently located.

Great location on Metro line 4 and just 15 mins walk to the Ile de Cite and Les Halles. Staff were excellent throughout and the chargeable breakfast was freshly cooked to order and great value.

Great location, friendly staff and clean. Restaurant an added bonus. Great WiFi.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The same can be said for the restaurant downstairs — the service was warm and attentive, and it really added to the overall experience. The room itself was basically very clean and covered all the essentials: a kettle, TV, wardrobe, bed, dressing table, safe, hairdryer, and an en-suite with a wonderfully hot shower. However, I personally struggled with the carpet — I convinced myself it was hiding all manner of sins as it was long shaggy type, though I never actually witnessed anything untoward. The room size was certainly not the most spacious, but as we were fortunate enough not to come to Paris to swing a cat, it worked perfectly well for our needs. We stayed on the 5th floor in room 52, which had a view out onto the road. Overall, it was a pleasant stay in a good location with warm and welcoming staff. We’d happily recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-situated base in Paris.

Best check in experience in France, super welcoming. Great location and the hotel has a very nice energy.

Excellent location, very clean and modern. Room was not huge but it met my needs, cozy and quiet. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance, staff was friendly and welcoming.

Nice small hotel close to Notre-Dame dame and the Louvre, ideally located, Eiffel Tower was walking distance taking in different suburbs and cultures

Good sized room compared to a lot of independent hotels in Paris and great that it had a lift and AC. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable, was fine for my short stay but wouldn’t want to spend more than 1 night on it. The room had a great individual design but it will soon be ready for a freshen up. My room had a random piece of cloth pinned to the ceiling which looked like it was covering some water damage from the room above. The colleagues on reception were really friendly and helpful. Overall I would recommend a this hotel for its great location and room design. Just remember this is not a chain hotel like ibis or Hilton.

A fantastic location in the heart of Paris, close to lots of dining and shopping locations. Easily walkable to much of what Paris has to offer.

Good location and lovely staff. The only negative was my room was cleaned when i had a 'do not disturb' sign on the door. Would stay again though

Everything was great

Conveninet location. Walking distance from Les Halles Train station. Lots of interesting dining options nearby. Restaurant right inside the hotel if its raining and you don't want to go out.

Well located and great staff.

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Georgette recently. The staff were extremely friendly and the location was just perfect. I will be back for sure

The staff were lovely, the room was so clean every day and the locations was wonderful for our first trip to Paris!

Properry is very nice and the restaurant food was delicious. Rooms are very very very smal

Excellent Stay, Alex was outstanding!! Clean and very good service!

Great hotel in a great part of the city. If you want to be in local Paris without too many tourists then this is a great place to stay. There are lots of restaurants around and easy access to a local supermarket. The room was clean, bed was comfy and we had a great view from the window. The only thing was unfortunately the fridge didn't work!

Staff were very friendly and attentive. The interior is modern and fun. The only note was regarding toiletries that were left in the shower from the previous guest which were indicative of the shower having been missed during the cleaning process, but it may have been due to trying to accommodate my needs expediently, so I'd give a pass. Everything else was A-ok.

Friendly staff

It’s a very convenient hotel and good pricing. Lots of restaurants nearby and a supermarket over the road. The rooms are very small though and you will need to leave a window open at night in the summer. But very clean, lovely staff and nice bar/restaurant downstairs. They do have mirrored walls to make the room feel bigger. But it’s Paris. All rooms are small. So it’s not a criticism. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing unique rooms. Best area for walking around and seeing authentic Paris. Will definitely return.

We stayed in the room on the top floor which has to be the nicest one. We were able to stargaze from our bed due the perfectly placed skylight. Love love love! The service in the restaurant lacked a bit although the food was really good!

Loved it. The staff was super friendly and my room was clean and neat. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Paris :)

The hotel is very kind to accommodate us to have an early check in as we arrived early. The location is great , so many options for dining and near to shopping area.

Very well located next to a lot of restaurants and shops. The room was a little small but that’s to be expected in Paris. The bed was super comfortable and bathroom very clean. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. Overall amazing experience, would definitely stay there again!

I was warmly welcomed when I arrived . The staff were extremely generous and helpful with my queries. I was able to leave my bag there all day after checking out . 5 star experience I

Well placed and clean hotel. The room was a bit small but very clean

The hotel's location makes it easy to walk to all the popular places. Lots of dining options around that are open will 2 am. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the room - I guess thats typical for Paris.

Had a superb 2 night stay at the hotel, great service, cleanliness and friendliness from all staff here. The area the hotel was in was really friendly, with lots of drink and food options as well. Will definitely be returning! Thank you!

Great place to stay! They are accommodating to what you want to do in the city and the restaurants is convenient for a quick espresso or a meal. Eliminates thinking or walking around hungry. A bonus is the grocery store across the street to stay hydrated and have healthy/ local snack options.

I can’t give a 5 star to any hotel that has more than two hours apart from check in and check outs ( in general ) is very inconvenient for a traveler, other than that the people in the hotel were fantastic place fantastic, thank you !

Very well located to shops & restaurants

Hotel Georgette is in an excellent location close to many attractions and food/drink options.

Great property. Extremely Convenient and walkable. 10 out of 10 would return.

Great location easy to walk to everything good food open in tel 1030pm

Overall the hotel fulfilled my expectations, the only drawback was the size of the room. For having "restaurant" in the name, the menu was very limited, thus disappointing.

Felt very safe, and it was close to everything. I enjoyed it a lot. Very easy to walk around the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy, good neighborhood

lovely little hotel near the heart of the marais and super convenient to public transit. great value with nice (smallish) room and super friendly helpful staff. tasty breakfast and bar with great staff.

.

When I happened upon Hôtel Georgette on Expedia, it seemed almost too good to be true. My Mother’s name was Georgette and the place looked very Parisian and inviting. Although this was not my first visit to Paris, it had been a while, and I wanted a central location to get reacquainted with the city. Everything was as perfect as it seemed online. The staff were the most thoughtful, gracious hosts and they provided excellent restaurant and recommendations. The location was incredible. It was an easy walk to many sites I wanted to see, and public transportation access is nearby. It is also right across the street to a small supermarket which was handy, and a few steps to dozens of restaurants and cafes, including the one on the ground floor of the hotel. I felt very comfortable, safe, and it was spotlessly clean. Thank you, Hôtel Georgette, for a memorable visit to your beautiful city!

Stay away from this hotel. Georgette hotel, experience ranks as the most disheartening (and even shocking) experience I have ever had. The root cause of this disappointment lies in a disparity on the Expedia website, where a room advertised for three individuals led to my reservation for myself, my wife, and our son. Subsequently, it became evident that the accommodation was tailored for only two occupants, setting the stage for an unwelcome turn of events. While the initial check-in was uneventful the true extent of our ordeal unfolded when we went down for breakfast the following morning. The front desk lady in an unprofessional display, not only rebuked us for the room reservation but treated us with undue harshness, denying breakfast service. The lady persistently shouted at us while I tried to retrieve my booking details from the Expedia app. Her behavior left no room for doubt that our presence was not welcomed at the hotel. This incident left our son in a state of shock and wanting to leave the hotel immediately. As we had no other place to go, we were reluctantly compelled to endure an additional night at the hotel. The persistent and deliberate efforts by the front desk host to make our stay inhospitable were wholly unexpected and sharply deviated from the industry's standard of professional conduct. Mediocre rooms paired with an extremely rude host is not a four-star experience. Dear hotel management, we did not travel all the way from the US to get abused by you!

I really like how friendly they were. always took care of everything in the rooms were very clean and comfortable. he was a perfect place to stay

Booked 9 months in advance. Property cancelled reservation without alerting me or Travelocity. Showed up at hotel and did not have room for us. Manager did find our reservation and realized they screwed up and called around and found us other accommodations. Delayed our travel to Paris for a few hours.

The only thing we enjoyed was the cafe below the hotel, otherwise the hotel is rather mediocre.

Fantastic location and brilliant customer service. Room also very nice but there was quite a lot of hair left on the bed

Average

We had a great time here. Evening was amazing, The staff, the restaurant, the room were all magnifico! Dmitri recommended a local restaurant, bar and night club, and when we got there we were treated like royalty. We highly recommend this place it's located near everything.

The staff at this property make this the best hotel I’ve stayed in. It’s small and quaint. They were SO nice and accommodating. Our room had no WiFi most of the time. I suspect it was because we were in the very front and it was hard to connect to. I’d stay here again for sure though.

Gorgeous suites and a great location.

Our stay at the Hotel Georgette was 2 nights during our honeymoon and it was delightful. Located in the lively Le Marais district, the hotel was exactly what we were looking for as a homebase during our quick Paris trip. The staff were super friendly and spoke both English and French, and the front desk having someone there 24 hours was a welcomed perk. The young lady who checked us in fully explained the city tax charges that we would be required to pay at the end of our stay. Again not a surprise as we had seen that when we booked through Expedia. The room was great with a comfortable bed and nice closet space with in-room safe. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch and the room also had a fridge with mini-bar which we did not use but was well appointed. The bathroom was also excellent with a great shower and plenty of space. We did not try the restaurant below but it was definitely hoppin in the evening and was available for breakfast service. Check out was easy and we were able to leave our bags for a couple of hours while we went out exploring one last time. If youre looking for a funky, small, unique boutique hotel in a cool district in Paris, I highly recommend the Hotel Georgette!

Great stay in Paris!

Horrible - Trop cher , qualité service zéro , à leur prix que vous payez vous trouvez largement mieux que cette hôtel . - English - Price was very expensive, when I arrived to hotel they informed there no AC it was extremely hot, I opened the widow to sleep it was very noisy so I couldn’t sleep till morning, Breakfast was shameful ! Only half piece of bread with two spoon of jam and one croissants (with they hôtel prices they have to give at least open buffet minimum with this price ) I was really very disappointed of the service of this hotel and definitely I will never stay there again ..

The staff were some of the nicest and most accommodating I’ve encountered on all my travels. The family atmosphere and unique design of our room were amazing. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone and will recommend it to family and friends.

Jaccuzi, powerful AC and easy walk to Chatelet Les Halles station

Better places to stay in Paris.

Location was good, 10-20 from main points. Restaurant downstairs was nice. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms in paris are small but this hotel's toilet rooms are extra small.

I love the hotel, location and the staff was extremely nice. Will return to the hotel for my future stay in Paris.

Staff was amazing, bed very comfy, room a bit banged up, not well cleaned. Dated and worn, but ok.

The staff were incredible. They did everything possible to make my stay comfortable. 5 stars for the excellent staff.

A bit noisy at times. You can hear everything on the street and rooms are very close together. There was a faint unpleasant smell but nothing unbearable. Amazing front desk customer service.

As a female solo traveler, I wanted my hotel in Paris to be safe, clean, and in a convenient location. The Hotel Georgette met all of these requirements. It's nearby several Metro stops and just a 10 minute walk away from Notre Dame, in a populated area where I felt safe, with lots of shops and restaurants. The only drawback is the hotel is quite small, with just a tiny alcove next to the cafe as the lobby. My room was quite small as well, without much closet space or room around the bed. For that reason, I probably wouldn't return to this hotel if I were traveling with a partner or a group, but for my purposes on this trip it was perfect. The room was well-decorated and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Absolutely terrible - loud, directly on top of a restaurant that doesn't close until late, you can hear through the walls. They don't replace the toiletries and the room is so small you can't open the closet without moving the desk chair and closing the bathroom door. In a seedy neighborhood, breakfast is slow and limited. Can not believe how expensive this was for what you get, should be a value/motel/hostel property.

Perfect location clean very friendly staff

Great location and staff.

There was a strong odor - I assume cleaning supplies but made for an uncomfortable stay.
