Four Points by Sheraton Hainan, Sanya

Wifi

Bien situé du centre ville

Un peu bruyant

NA

The rooms are old.. Water taps not working well..

Location is the only thing I liked

Every other thing. No staff speaks English. Not even greeting words. We asked for bottled water, they don't even know what that is. No friendliness at all. Very poor room service. Breakfast was a repeat every day. No western food at all.

Beste Lage in Sanya.

Ottima posizione Colazione varia

Camere vecchie Climatizzazione un po' rumorosa

The ocean view from our 21st floor apartment was spectacular. We loved the spacious room as well and how clean the facilities were.

Being on holiday , we found having to pay to watch movies on the room tv rather odd.

I would like to appreciate Frances for making our stay very enjoyable. She helped us from the time we checked in, to the point of departure. Being our first time in China; she guided us extremely well. We will definitely stay at this hotel again

Good location - Good breakfast - Very helpful staff - Spacy room - Nice view from the top floor observation deck

Location was good

The cleanliness in the room is questionable... many areas not that clean The lighting in the room was dark

Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zentral, zu Fuss zum Strand

Very nice place. Location and swimming pool very nice and very safe many guard available until 10 pm.

Need more international food in breakfast and more activities and animation in the hotel

Good gym facility and a swimming pool.

The building is aged.

Excellent breakfast, great views of the bay from 29th floor, directly next to the beach

2nd floor dining area was too hot

Location.

Hot.

Breakfast was good, view from balcony was amazing. The room was a very big size and lady maid looked after us very well. All the facilities was very good quality

The staff was very good appart from the English communication

We were treated very well as soon as we stepped in to the hotel. Welcome drink and a very pleasant and efficient check in. We were very impressed with the receptionist as well as the concierge who explained in detail on all our questions. We will be back for sure next year Really love this hotel!😍

Nothing.

The location is amazing. Its a short ride to any of the tourist destinations. Room and facilities are a bit old but it is still very clean. If you are lucky you might catch some fireworks right by the balcony!

Very friendly staff, very good service. Good breakfast variety. Pool was good. We would definitely recommend

Very conveniently located - all you have to do is cross the road to get to the beach. Breakfast was great. We also tried their dinner buffet, and we were very satisfied. The view from our room was gorgeous - it was my favorite thing! Also, we got all the amenities and supplies we needed

The staff should work on their English and communication overall. They had an unexpected maintenance issue, and they moved us to another room on a different floor, which by itself is not a big deal. However, the way they communicated this to us was very confusing and frustrating. I had to "fish out" the answers to my questions instead of receiving them in the first place. Another thing - we went up to the 29th-floor bar for dinner, and, as it turns out, it takes a whole hour to get your meal because they don't have their own kitchen. Again, we only found out after we placed an order. The staff should have been more proactive and told us right away about the long wait time.

19/02/2025 We reached sanya station around 1425 Once we walk off from the sanya train station then we took a tram to yingbin road station about 6-8 station and the fare around SGD $1++ but that other option to those dont want take public transport may book didi directly to your location. From yingbin station to four points i take about 10-15 mins walk and basically the hotel location also it doesn’t show accurate place . The hotel it literally opposite beach just crossing road. The hotel location is so strategic to anywhere. The hotel is well maintained we reached hotel around 1530 but sadly our rooms is not ready for check in the front desk told us that we need to wait around 1-1.5hour but the good part the front recovered us with complimentary vourcher at their lounge. And we managed to get our rooms around 1700 the room is so spacious and well maintained. But only the aircond abit warm so what i did was closed half of the curtain especially during day time to avoid from sunlight shine to our room that could make our room feel warmer. Our room is inclusive with breakfast that a choices quite a lot but will suggest you guys go before 8am to avoid from heavy traffic from other people need to queue outside while waiting for the table. That a choice of western and Chinese style and those vegan, vegetarian that not a lof of choices that you could get in and those muslim there is not halal except of bread or cereal for your choice. And the hotel got provided shuttle to Nanshan tample and CDF MALL Haitang bay just need to book in advance slot and timing at front desk . And possible for you guys to have WECHAT apps or china phone number because they will make a call for confirmation for the shuttle. On the 20th of feb after we came back from haitang bay we get a surprise birthday cake from the hotel team. Btw thank you for the great memories in china that i couldn’t forget it ❤️🇸🇬

Location, view from the room, beach

Nothing

Location , facilities, especially the sky bar.

Communication gap with staff. They have charged my room but the booking has not been done properly. I was in a great challenge to explain and correct it. But they helped that they can and understand.

Good location by the ocean. Great view. Breakfast buffet is lacking variety, but worth the extra cost. Rooms need to be updated. Hotel seems old

location

bath tube smell

I booked a two bedroom for 4 adults and the room was huge, 90 sq m I think. The toilet is huge too with a circular bath tub. Hotel is dated but room was still acceptable. The hotel location is great, just opposite the 海月广场where retirees danced day and night. There’s a street called 外贸路which is right behind the hotel. You can get cheap and nice local Hainanese and 东北 food like 饺子. It’s near bus stops, a slightly longer distance from the tram stop.

Fortunately or unfortunately, we won the first prize at the hotel’s Christmas Eve buffet dinner. The prize was their presidential suite. That was the downfall of our stay. The suite was beyond repair. I’m upset that they even offer this as the top prize. The carpet flooring near the entrance into the toilet was torn and worn. The curtains in the living room were hanging loose at some points. Some can no longer close automatically. The huge bathroom had blinds that no longer shuts properly. The room decors badly need to be replaced. This is their top room but such poorly maintained presidential suite, really spoilt our stay. I was embarrassed to ask for switch back to our original room as we requested to upgrade to this room in short notice. On hindsight, luckily, we did. Imagine the disappointment and anger if we flew back to Hainan two months later for this broken suite.

We booked a room for three nights but did not stay any nights in this hotel. There was a very strong smell of moss in the rooms. We checked four different rooms, everywhere the same thing. After thata, decided to chande the hotel. Fortunately we did not have to pay for the ” stay” in this hotel. Staff was very co-operative. The location seemed good.

Went to have light lunch of mushroom cream soup, grilled vegetable and cheese burger, and mango tuna salad. Soup was quite nice and was preceded by a sizable basket of fine breads. Mango tuna salad simply had slices of sashimi tuna with small pieces of spicy mango. Burger had mayonnaise smeared sesame bun over slice of cheddar over thin slices of lettuce, tomato, onion, and possibly mushroom along with fries. Price was ¥294.

The location is good as it is situated opposite the beach and quite accessible. The bathroom is designed more for couples as there is a clear window in front of the bathtub and the blind provided cannot fully obscure the view from the bedroom. For friends or siblings touring together, you may consider if this is acceptable. Also, the bathroom does not drain well as the floor is very wet after using the shower.

The location and the staff.

The front desk not properly allocated my paid and booked room. To explain that it was difficult to communicate with English

You should go there and stay to enjoy the atmosphere.

many restaurants, shops are near by. Good fitness center and awesome Skybar. Very good cost performance.

Close to the beach Attentive valet Clean and modern rooms Great bathrooms with bath and shower options Good air conditioning Can walk 10 or 20 minutes to find lots of restaurants, miniso and night market The soundproofing is good and the curtains block out all Has a fridge The swimming pool has a lifeguard and free towels has a laundry service and hard-working room cleaners slippers and robes provided amazing laundry service western bathrooms some russians stay there but not many foreigners

Bad English not much information on the entry to the building not much information on dining options in the hotel No spa pool access Supermarket and Lawson are a 10 minute walk away The closest beach access is not best for swimming no Cutlery in the room sometimes the water in the shower is not very hot cheapest room is $137 a night, bit expensive for not including breakfast there is a window with a partially see-through blind between the bathroom and the bedroom air conditioning doesn’t go very cold no vending machines in the lobby, have to walk 5-10 minutes to miniso, wanghao, lawson etc. Issues with refunding my room deposit after check out, still waiting

Amazing location on the beach, great amenities, good food options nearby.

Staff almost doesn't speak English. Furniture could be repaired

Location really excellent. Close with hotel many local streets too. You can enjoy local Chinese food. Beach direct next to hotel. Taxi services without waiting time. View from room excellent. Breakfast food and organization excellent too.

By first room entry strong humidity and bad air smell. Next days much better. Night club - many small dancing children without parents control.

I paid for a corner room, which according to hotels.com is more expensive, as the view is wider. Unfortunately the actual corner rooms have a limited angle for the view so that the room with the sea view are in fact more enjoyable. I kindly ask you to review the prices. I luckily got "upgraded" as checked in to a sea view room, meaning I got a room that would have been less expensive. This can be really annoying as customer and specially when dealing with a significant language barrier, as the staff only speaks limited english.

Nice location, great outdoor pool area, good facilities (Thai spa, gym), large rooms with very comfortable beds and incredible views, good buffet quality, friendly personnel

Communication mainly via translation apps, spa information would be easier if in English. Buffet is mainly Chinese choices, very limited healthy or vegetarian options.

The hotel's breakfast is a delightful experience, offering a wide variety of dishes from Chinese to Western cuisine. Each day features a different theme, ensuring a fresh and diverse selection. The quality of the food was consistently good, making breakfast a highlight of the stay. My hotel room balcony provided a stunning, breathtaking view of Sanya beach. The sunset was especially mesmerizing, casting beautiful hues across the horizon. The hotel room that I booked was very spacious and big! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with a shopping mall just a 5-7 minute walk away. Here, you can easily pick up daily necessities at the supermarket and enjoy a range of restaurants, including both Chinese options like Hot Pot and BBQ, as well as Western choices like KFC and Pizza Hut. For more excitement, a 10-12 minute taxi ride via DiDi takes you to the vibrant night market, a must-visit during your stay. In the evenings, a leisurely stroll along Sanya beach reveals locals engaging in dance classes such as High Energy Dance or C-pop Dace. For a more relaxed vibe, the hotel's rooftop bar offers the perfect spot to unwind with a cold beer while admiring the night view of the beach. I highly recommend trying the coconut wheat beer—it was delicious, though of course, individual tastes may differ! Overall, my experience at the hotel was fantastic. With its beautiful views, convenient location, and lively atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to unwind and immerse yourself in the local culture.

The restaurant is slightly warm, and it can feel a bit hot at times. Adding 1 to 3 fans could improve the comfort level by keeping guests cooler. However, despite the temperature, the ambiance and food quality are excellent. The service is also attentive, making the overall dining experience enjoyable. With just a small adjustment to the cooling, this place could be even better!

Decent location right opposite the beach. Convenient.

Great location by the seaside, rooms were very clean and luxurious for the price. Cleaning can be requested to be done daily. Comfortable bed and spacious rooms, clean toilets and an overall great stay.

Some rooms that my family members were given had a strong mouldy smell in it, but you can request for an air purifier from the front desk and they will bring it up to you. Air conditioning was also not adjustable in my room

Family room was very good. Breakfast was OK. Swimming pool was available and children enjoyed it a lot. Hotel personnel was very supportive.

Air conditioning in the gym wasn’t sufficient. When you’re working on bicycle or trial run it’s too hot and you’re sweating like a hell. Equipment for exercises is poor. Nothing much for back and legs.

- The view from the room. - Good location near restaurants, bars, beach and supermarkets.

- Unhelpful staff, especially at front desk. You can do check-in and check-out and that's it. Other than that, you bother them and they let you know very clearly. - Near the beach but you can not go to swim (only sunbath and jet ski). - Most staff members does not speak English. - Bad Wi-Fi connection.

I love the window view. Best landscapes in the zone

Great staff, good location, need more chairs in pool area. Had a great ocean front view, but no chairs to sit on the balcony.

Good location and staff. Definitely need more seating around the pool area. Also, need a no smoking floor!! Too many people smoking and making the air unacceptable

Property was good value for the money. Area was quite walkable and convenient. Only drawback for us was the long waits for hotel food when at the top floor lounge.

The hotel has a great location on the seafront. I had a seaview room on a higher floor with a balcony. However, you can't really enjoy the balcony because there is no outdoor furniture, and the road and music noise makes it not a pleasant place to relax. The room was clean and spacious though. The pool is also not such a nice area to hang out as it's located at the front of the hotel next to the main road. Reception staff were professional and generally on the ball. The restaurant was more chaotic and not so well organised and run. Staff were rarely managing people as they entered the restaurant, resulting in people sitting where they liked and often trying to sit at occupied tables. This happened to me several times! If you're an international traveller, don't expect staff to be able to speak anything other than Chinese. Some do speak a little English but have your translator at the ready.

It’s central easy excess

The beach are noisy n the hotel near To the beach the rooms facing the beach will hv music till 10 pm

The hotel has a great location at the Sanya Bay, easily accessible to city center shopping markets, restaurants, and beach. It has one of the busiest beach around with many people playing there. It has the best view of Sanya Bay.

The hotel is too old lacking of renovation and maintanance. The worst thing is the moldy smell it carries. It's bad for those who are sensitive to the smell. The breastfast is just so so too.

Breakfast is good, location is also good.

No awnings or sunbeds on the beach

wifi super slow

Location was excellent.

The check-in staff were understaffed and although there were only two people ahead of me, I had to wait a long time to check in.

We appreciated the receptionist offering a late checkout due to our very late arrival. It was a great help! The room was comfortable. Breakfast was good but very busy.
