Madre de Água Hotel Rural de Charme

A Quinta é muito bonita e tem ótimas condições. O pequeno-almoço era muito bom, a zona da piscina muito agradável e há bastante espaço para passear, além de várias atividades para fazer durante a estadia. Gostávamos de destacar a simpatia da Maria, da Vanessa e do Pedro, que foram sempre muito atenciosos connosco e estavam disponíveis para partilhar recomendações e sugestões para aproveitarmos ao máximo as nossas férias. Levamos também a nossa cadela connosco e ela adorou a estadia tanto quanto nós! Foram uns dias muito agradáveis e umas férias muito bem passadas. Sem dúvida, uma experiência que recomendamos!

Não temos nada de negativo a apontar. A estadia correspondeu totalmente às nossas expectativas e tivemos uma experiência muito agradável.

Do ambiente sossegado, de bom gosto. O espaço exterior também é muito giro e gostamos da experiência de estar com os cavalos.

Gostamos de tudo mas deixo como sugestão uma maior diversidade no pequeno almoço, mais escolha. O fato de ser servido por um funcionário limita os hóspedes.

Una bellissima struttura per passare una notte o qualche giorno in piena tranquillità immerso nella natura. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite, il giardino con la piscina curati, e la colazione di ottima qualità. Abbiamo fatto degustazione di vino e cenato al ristorante. Vino e cibo ottimi.

I had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend it, especially for solo travellers. I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout my time here, which was really important to me travelling alone. The setting is beautiful — the pool was lovely, the rooms were really nice, and being able to walk through the vineyards was such a special part of the experience. The absolute highlight for me was the horses. They were spectacular, and the riding experience was something I’ll remember for a very long time. Nuno, the riding instructor, was fantastic and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The staff were also amazing. Vanessa genuinely couldn’t have done more for me and made me feel so welcome and looked after throughout my stay. Overall, I had such a wonderful stay. Beautiful surroundings, incredible horses, lovely accommodation and genuinely fantastic people. I’m so glad I came and would happily return.

Dinners were a little inconsistent

A piscina exterior era incrível, água sempre fantástica e a zona de lazer em excelentes condições (jardim, wcs..) O quarto tinha uma boa área e a varanda, com vista para a piscina, era brutal. Hotel de fácil acesso e bem sinalizado até chegada ao local Simpatia dos funcionários, comida, preço/qualidade top, no geral tudo muito bom.

A taxa pelo patudo, sendo que não existia nenhum kit para o mesmo (nem cama, nem "comida", nem taças..o normal de um kit quando paga a taxa pelo patudo) Mas retirando está observação, nada a apontar :)

Leider kaum vegane Optionen. Insgesamt war uns das Haus zu modern und kühl von der Atmosphäre her, aber das ist eben Geschmackssache.

I really liked the location and how quiet it was. The view of the mountain is amazing. The room was very nice overlooking the pool as well.

I had high expectations of the restaurant, as I had been before, but it wasn't quite the same. The food was good, but a bit overpriced for what you get.

Cadre magnifique en pleine campagne, un régal de détente. Un bon choix de menus et une carte des vins bien garnie. Personnel très à l'écoute

Cómodo e silencioso. Quarto espaçoso e decoração discreta e elegante. Funcionários muito simpáticos e prestáveis. A área envolvente é muito bonita.

The restaurant is not up to standard. The menu is ambitious, the delivery is less than that.

Lovely property, especially for those interested in horses, dogs and wine. Exceptionally friendly staff. Good breakfast and restaurant. Great massage therapist. Large room, peaceful location. Outdoor pool although we didn't use it (still too cold outside in early May). Free parking in front of the hotel.

You do need a car to get there. The bathroom in the room did not offer much privacy, with glass window to the room that could not be covered. The breakfast was good but somewhat limited in choice.

A cama precisava de ter um lençol separado do edredão. Torna-se muito quente para conseguir dormir

excelente alojamento, paisagens bonitas e animais muito queridos. Funcionários muito atenciosos!

Ambiente tranquilo, rural mas sofisticado. Adorámos a interação dos gatos do hotel com os clientes.

Poderiam ter uma pequena piscina interior e/ou jacuzzi, como grandes extras.

Localização perfeita. Ótimo para descansar e passar um fim de semana sossegado em harmonia com a natureza. Pequeno almoço muito bom. Animais muito amigáveis e todo staff muito atencioso.

Gostámos de tudo principalmente do atendimento e atenção da Vanessa em todos os sítios que ficámos nunca nos sentimos tão bem recebidos como nesta casa que garantidamente iremos voltar, pois não tivemos tempo para conhecer melhor a quinta e os seus habitantes 😊

We stayed at Madre de Água for two nights in the middle of our 10 day road trip around the northern half of Portugal. It was the perfect place to relax for a couple of days with lots of things to do without using the car. All the staff were amazing - especially Pedro who helped us arrange the various activities - dinner on our balcony, a picnic in the olive groves, horse riding around the farm and a tasting of their amazing wines before dinner. A very enjoyable and relaxing stay - we hope to return. Highly recommended!

We would recommend booking activities in advance as some have limited availability.

Atendimento primordial. Todos, inclusive os bichos, eram simpáticos, prestativos e atenciosos. Refeições no Hotel maravilhosas, paz e tranquilidade no local para dormir e aproveitar.

We had two days of a quiet and relaxing time at Madre de Água. We were very happy with both, the comfortable room and the breakfast. We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant of the hotel.

Fantastic conditions, property, staff and food, everything was top notch! Cats, dogs and horses make a nice company, too.

On the final night, I seem to have spent too long in the pool (my bad) and got my eyes irritated. No long running consequences, a night of sleep amended it. Might mind my personal sensitivity to the pool chemicals next time.

Super vriendelijk personeel waarvoor geen vraag teveel was. Fijne kamer (suite). Het zwembad zag er ook prettig uit, maar hebben we niet gebruikt omdat het daarvoor voor ons niet warm genoeg was.

Vervang het glas tussen de slaapkamer en de badkamer door satijn glas om inkijk te voorkomen.

A fabulously relaxing hotel in a beautiful rural setting. The hotel is surrounded by a vineyard and horse riding is available onsite. If you don’t ride like us then enjoy the pool and the great walking trails locally. You can also do a wine and or a cheese tasting The wine in the restaurant is very good and you can also buy it by the case to take home with you. We came back for our second visit just so we could do this. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and kind. If you want a relaxing break in a sophisticated but relaxed hotel stay here.
