Reviewed Jul 13, 2026La atención del personal en recepción es estupenda (felicitaciones a Ulises), las instalaciones son muy bonitas, se siente el lugar muy acogedor, el layout de las habitaciones es cómodo, y tiene una ubicación perfecta, a media cuadra del centro, una vista espectacular desde la terraza. Toda la decoración de las habitaciones y el hotel desde que llegas te hace sentir la cultura de Taxco. Sin duda repetiría.
La limpieza en general es buena, pero tuvimos la mala suerte que nuestra cama no había sido limpiada correctamente, al querer dormir tenía cabellos en las sabanas (muchos), el personal en recepción atendió el problema, sin embargo, es incómodo que suceda esto, no quedas tranquilo después. Las habitaciones no tienen insonorizacion, por lo que en la mañana te despiertas con las personas que ya están haciendo check out o el restaurante. Creo que sería bueno que sumarán convenio con un estacionamiento más cercano o dar más opciones.

Reviewed May 25, 2026La situation géographique, à deux pats du Zocalo. La décoration design, particulièrement réussie, simple et chic. Les équipements de la chambre et la salle de bain. Le lit particulièrement confortable, un gros point fort qui malheureusement a été gâché par le bruit ambiant.
L’hôtel est particulièrement bruyant. Nous occupions un chambre au 3ème étage (la 15). Le bruit remontait fortement depuis le rez-de-chaussée. Nous avions également au dessus de la chambre des bruits et vibrations en provenance d’un restaurant voisin, à des heures matinales et tardives. Si la chambre est particulièrement confortable, le bruit a clairement gâché l’expérience. Ce n’est pas en accord avec le coût de l’hôtel, élevé pour Taxco. On s’attend à beaucoup plus de calme pour cette gamme de prix. De plus, le bar rooftop n’était pas ouvert, ce qui n’avait pas été indiqué.

Es un excelente lugar para descansar, en nuestro caso muy particular, esperábamos un lugar con más actividades, un bar con más vida, las instalaciones comunes estaban restringidas a las 7:00 pm (ya no te dejaban estar en la alberca). En la habitación ya no pusieron café al siguiente día (solo eran dos cápsulas, solicite a recepción y tenían costo). Cuando llegamos a hacer el check-in, nos toco la suerte (o mala suerte) de presenciar una pelea muy desagradable con gritos y ofensas de ambas partes entre un huésped y la gerente del hotel, tuvo que intervenir seguridad.

Even though the electricity was cut off for a couple of hours when we arrived, the personnel helped us with candles and everything we needed. Bathroom in the bedroom is a HUGE plus. We were very comfortable. The bed is amazing, the shower is convenient and it doesn’t have windows going outside, so the noise from the motorcycles was not too loud. Highly recommend! They have very nice breakfast with fresh juices in the lobby too!

The rooms are a bit small but beautifully decorated and well appointed. The toiletries provided are top notch. The shower is wonderful.

Es algo que no es del hotel, pero podrían tener en cuenta. Pedimos un taxi para el traslado a CDMX, y el vehículo no estaba en condiciones de hacer ese viaje. Sin aire acondicionado, sin cinturones de seguridad ni apoya cabezas en asientos traseros. Muy inseguro.

Reviewed Dec 3, 2025Lugar muy moderno, limpio, cómodo y su personal muy amable. Tienen un restaurante con comidas muy sabrosas. El cuarto estuvo muy acogedor y con una muy buena iluminación. Tiene un buen closet y además planchador. El baño tiene todo lo necesario para tu estancia. Muy buena ubicación, cerca del zócalo y la iglesia Santa Priska. Nuestro cuerto tenía balcón. Están pendientes de sus huéspedes, dando tapones por el ruido del festival y dulces de mazapán.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2025We choosen this hotel due to the short walking distance to the centre and photoes, without realising the noise issue. Rooms are small but confortable. Kind staff. Note: Parking available for a fee. Breakfast is not included.
There is not lift, our room was in the top floor with access via narrow and stiff stairs 4th floor. The hotel is in the centre by a main road so there was loud cars noise passing by all night and a rock band played until early morning in a bar next to the hotel, it was so loud that it felt we were in a concert. This is not a hotel for light sleepers, we could not sleep or rest at all.

Su servicio de restaurante, súper deli, y aunque no tiene estacionamiento, tienen convenio con uno y por 180 x día, puedes hacer todas tus actividades. 1. Room was not ready at hotels stated check in time. 2. First room the AC was not working. So they moved us to another room where AC was barely blowing cold but again not working properly. 3. Reviewed Sep 21, 2024The hotel is in the heart of Taxco. The Santa Pisca Church is behind the hotel. Beautiful hotel clean suite with a nice bath tub and full shower. The split unit air conditioner worked wonders. They immediately greeted us upon arrival, offered valet service and Carrie four luggage to the room. The restaurant opens at 8am for breakfast which offers a variety of traditional Mexican breakfast and American choices. The restaurant has lunch l however it closes early at 6pm. There are a lot of rooftop and balcony restaurantswhidh offer a variety of options. Lots of shops, markets and some entertainment in the town square in front of the Santa Pisca Church. We love this quaint, cultural town. Lots is taxicabs which are very reasonable and inexpensive. We took a gondola ride up to the Monte Taxco Hotel and had lunch overlooking the beautiful town and city.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2024Property is super clean and looks newly remodeled. I would never stay there again because they have a restaurant down stairs and all the smell goes up stairs to the rooms. You can also hear the telephone ringing because of the hotels layout. Never get a room with a balcony because you get all the noise from the street. Beautiful clean hotel and the restaurant is top notch!

Reviewed Jun 30, 2024Marvelous hotel with modern colonial chic decor. Stayed in the king suite with tub and the room blew us away. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, the shower was hot and strong, and the a/c was perfect. Also had brunch at the restaurant and the blue corn pancakes were delicious. This is were I’ll stay next time I am in Taxco. A

Reviewed May 11, 2024It was a perfect location to move around and easy to get a taxi. The restaurant was excellent and the most attentive staff. Everything was first class, best quality linens and towels. Loved it!
