Isola molto bella e naturale. Accogliente. Camera Bella e spaziosa. Bravissimo il servizio di pulizia. Cucina buona, varia, ma influenzata dall’India. Mangiato sempre tanto nel buffet. Bellissimo reef e snorkeling.

Sarebbe meglio se fossero organizzati con più giochi da tavolo nelle zone comuni. C’erano sono 2 mazzi di carte. Attività extra care.

Spiaggia grande a sinistra dell'isola veramente bella. Mare splendido, come al solito. Bungalow migliori da 1 a 6-17/18 -da 31 a 33

Molti coralli morti sulla spiaggia lato pontile fronte bungalow 34-35-36-37, che impedivano di camminare a piedi nudi ovviamente non per colpa del resort che una volta al giorno il personale provvedeva alla raccolta.

La isla tiene buenas zonas de buceo, está muy limpia y cuidada. Vimos tortugas, tiburones y una gran variedad de peces. El desayuno, aunque no muy variado diariamente, comidas y cenas, buenas y bien presentadas. Buen servicio y atención. Está a unos 45 minutos del aeropuerto de Male. Las habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado, ventilador y nevera. Todas las cabañas están al borde de la playa, la mejor la 1 y la 2 (si quieres ver el mar) el resto está sumergida en la vegetación y no se ve.

El transporte ida y vuelta a las isla cuesta más de 210 dólares por persona, lo que es un abuso puesto que es la única forma de llegar a la isla. Además, suelen unificar viajes por lo que puede tocar esperar en el aeropuerto o salir antes de la isla. Además, mirar bien el precio, porque el impuesto "ecológico" es de 12 $/ persona y noche a pagar al llegar al alojamiento. Tiene wifi, aunque NO funciona. Tuvimos que protestar y, finalmente nos dejaron un router que compartimos, por turno, las 7 habitaciones que ocupábamos! Si no llevas algún paquete todo incluido, las bebidas (incluido el agua y cafe del bar) son bastante caras, también el uso de un kayak o las excursiones en barco. El submarinismo es especialmente caro (120$ la inmersión) y obligan a una en la playa (al mismo precio) para probar el equipo. Tuvimos muy mal tiempo durante la estancia lo que hizo que echásemos de menos que el resort tuviera alguna instalación más como un gimnasio, una sala de tv o cine (no hay tv en las habitaciones)...

Warm & Personal Hospitality: Beyond the front-of-house team, even staff members from other departments—including the finance team—took the time to chat with us, make us feel welcome, and ensure we were having a great time. From start to finish, we felt so well taken care of. The personal touch and warmth of everyone on the island completely exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic time and can whole-heartedly recommend Makunudu Island to anyone looking for an exceptional getaway!

Tout était formidable. L'accueil, le service, la propreté, la chambre, les repas, la plage. Accueil très sympathique avec le sourire et un jus de fruit frais. Chambre disponible bien avant l'heure prévue à notre arrivée. Ménage fait deux fois pas jour. Literie très confortable. Salle de bain agréable avec partie ouverte. Mini-bar. Petite terrasse (fauteuils et table) donnant directement accès à une plage superbe et au lagon. La plupart des repas ont été proposés à la carte avec un choix de plats délicieux et beaucoup de poissons très bien préparés. Eau à volonté pendant tous les repas. Le bar sur pilotis était très agréable le soir avant de dîner. Cocktail offert chaque soir sur plage au petit bar au coucher du soleil. Le club de plongée nous a prêté du matériel (palmes, masque, tuba) pendant tout le séjour gratuitement. Très petite île très calme (seulement 36 bungalows) dont on fait le tour à pied en quelques minutes.

Un havre de paix. Un minuscule banc de sable entouré de récifs coralliens extraordinaires. 30 cabanes cachées dans la jungle à 3 pas de l’eau. Un personnel super sympa aussi bien au centre de plongée qu’à l’hôtel.

Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas un peu plus de flexibilité sur les transfert en navette. On a été obligé d’attendre 7 heures à Aéroport car ils nous ont ramené beaucoup trop tôt.

Relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The food is excellent, the staff discreetly attentive, the reef is amazing and the accommodation is traditional Maldivian. Some might find it basic as you won’t find over the water cabins or swimming pools here. It had all we needed and was perfect for a week of blissful relaxation broken up by some snorkelling.

Eine perfekte Insel für eine wunderschöne Maledivenreise. Das Essen war fantastisch! Die Zimmer sehr sauber und das Bett sehr groß und bequem. Das Hausriff ist hervorragend zum Schnorcheln. Wenn man ohne Pool und großen Luxus auskommt, ist diese Insel perfekt!

Es hatte ein wunderschönes Haus-Riff in dem man ganz viele exotische Tiere wie Haie, Schildkröten und vieles anderes. gesehen hatte. Die Bediensteten im Restaurant und auch für die Reinigung der Zimmer waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Das SPA hatte ganz gute Massagen und die beiden Frauen vor Ort haben sehr gute Massagen gemacht. Das Dive Center war sehr toll, die Leute vor Ort waren super nett und haben einen sehr gut beraten über die unterschiedlichen Möglichkeiten und Riffe rund um die Insel. Auch hat man sich beim Tauchen mit Ihnen sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Reception war leider nicht so kompetent und hat auch nicht aktiv kommuniziert. Wir brauchten etwas von der Hauptinsel und uns wurde mehrfach versprochen, dass es am nächsten Tag kommt aber dann hat es trotzdem 5 Tage gedauert. Wir mussten jeden Tag selbst aktiv fragen und uns immer wieder über den aktuellen Stand informieren.

All were wonderful. That was my second visit but Makunudu doesn’t disappoint me because they welcomed us warmly. In terms of facilities, they have improved wifi system better than last time when was 3 years ago. I think I will visit there again :)

This is not property related, but the speedboat price is really high as usual. It was also similar price level…

Wow what an amazing holiday. From the warm friendly greeting on arrival, each day went on to exceed our expectations. Anwar couldn’t do enough waiting on us, the service was excellent. Abrahim kept our beach bungalow perfect. The snorkelling is great. We will always hold very fond memories of our holiday on this unspoilt paradise island. Бунгало смежные в виде восьмерки -но ощущения приватности присутствует. Тут не отдыхают с детьми и подростками. поэтому тихо. Публика в основном семейные пары. Лучшее расположение вилл с 27 по 37 (южная часть острова) и с 1 по 3 (северная, ветренная часть острова). Для компании лучше брать 34+35+36 - все три виллы имеют общий выход на пляж и зону в тени деревьев. Самое плохое расположение 14-15 виллы (заход в море не возможен из-за камней). В виллах с 16 по 26 слышно, как работает генератор. Лагуна находится рядом с дайвинг-центом - отличный белый песок на берегу и на дне. Отличные ужины по меню. Шведский стол на завтрак и обед-очень скромные -но голодные не останетесь. Хороший приветливый персонал. You will enjoy your stay on the island if you have the right expectations. It is a small, green island with no overwater villas or swimming pools. For activities, there is an excellent diving center and a spa offering outstanding Balinese massages. The bungalows are semi-detached, arranged in a figure-eight layout, but there is still a good sense of privacy. This is not a destination for families with children or teenagers, so it is very quiet. Most guests are couples. The best villa locations are from 27 to 37 (the southern part of the island) and from 1 to 3 (the northern, windier side). For a group, it’s best to book villas 34 + 35 + 36 - all three have direct shared access to the beach and a shaded area under the trees. The worst locations are villas 14–15, where swimming is not possible due to rocks. In villas 16 to 26, you can hear the generator running. The lagoon is located next to the diving center and has excellent white sand both on the beach and on the seabed.

Индивидуального трансфера нет. The Wi-Fi is very weak. If you need internet access, make sure you have a suitable roaming plan or a local SIM card. Alternatively, download movies in advance and bring some books. The transfer has already been mentioned, but it’s worth noting again: if you’re used to being met immediately and taken straight to the island, here you’ll have to wait for other guests. After a nine-hour flight, a two-hour wait can be quite tiring. There is no private transfer available.

L'ile de Makunudu a été un enchantement de bout en bout. J'ai passé un séjour extraordinaire. Cette île est paradisiaque, hypnotique. On ne peut que s'y sentir extrêmement bien. Tout y est fait pour que vous vous sentiez au mieux en plein coeur de la nature et de l'océan. J'ai eu également le bonheur de poursuivre mon apprentissage en plongée et j'ai pu bénéficié du grand professionnalisme du centre de plongée de cette île. Cela a été merveilleux de bien être, de bonheur partagé après chaque plongée, d'un accompagnement de mon instructeur, Léandro, à chaque moment. Tout Makunudu est une pure merveille.

Essayer de sensibiliser les clients à ne pas hésiter à nettoyer la plage qui chaque jour rejette quelques déchets en mettant à disposition des poubelles à certains endroits.

Von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute haben wir uns hier auf Makunudu sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Tolle Barfußinsel mit einem schönen, großteils intakten Hausriff mit vielen verschiedenen Korallen und Fischen und Schildkröten. Jeder hier auf der Insel war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch das Essen war jeden Tag hervorragend zubereitet, egal ob vom Buffet oder als Menü. Die Beachvilla war sehr schön, mit direktem Zugang zu Strand und Meer. Man kann direkt von der Villa aus zum Schnorcheln ans Hausriff schwimmen. Flossen und Schnorchel können ausgeliehen werden. Die Insel ist sehr grün und naturbelassen, was wir sehr schön fanden.

Da fällt uns nichts ein.

My small daughter (11 month) and I travelled with my family to this wonderful place. It’s a true paradise! Very natural ambience to enjoy sun, sand and sea. The rooms are comfortable, the food is very tasty and the lagoon was perfect for swimming. But the most amazing is the team. They go the extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable. Special thanks to our superb waiter Anwar (who knows what you might need before you even mentioned it), chef Kumara & his team, the Front Office / Guest Services team, the sand bar crew as well as our room boy to make our stay this amazing! It was a wonderful Christmas with superb buffet presentation at the beach with a beautiful step. Thank you Makunudu!

What a fantastic natural island experience - no shoes no news. The island is a Maldives experience the more natural way - no TVs, no pool, just sun, sand and sea. The lagoon is perfect for swimming, the rooms nice and very natural. No hold or bling bling - just fitting for the surrounding. We loved the concept that buffet and set menu is alternating for dinner so there is some variation and the set menu dishes were superb and tasty. We stayed fo Christmas and it was extraordinary what was presented. What a fantastic setup at the beach with amazing dishes and great presentation. Thank you to everyone for your hard work!

The only small thing: dinner time at 19:30 was a bit late for us. But that’s a personal preference.

Sehr schöne Lage, Ferienhäuser mit direktem Seezugang. Schönes Hausriff lädt ein zum Schnorcheln. Persönliches Highlight war das Personal. Klare Empfehlung!

Bei einem kleinen Paradies, das leider auch von der globalen Klimaerwärmung betroffen ist, würde ich mir die Stromerzeugung aus Photovoltaik anstatt stinkenden und lärmenden Generatoren mit entsprechenden CO2 Ausstoß. Zusätzlich finden wir es schöner, die Haie gelegentlich beim Schnorcheln in ihrem Revier natürlich vorbei gleiten zu sehen, als bei der abendlichen Haifütterung mit Küchenabfällen.

Understated class, nothing fancy, but relaxed and good quality food. Great reefs. Staff super friendly, especially room cleaning and dive centre.

Waiting at the airport for other guests before boat wouls arrive. Checkout 6 am for a flight 6 hours later because another couple was leaving earlier - and boat trip very expensive. Not cool

Gefallen hat uns einfach alles. Schon die Ankunft an der Insel war so liebevoll vom Resort gemacht. Man wird vom Rezeptionsteam bereits am Boot herzlich begrüßt. Das Einchecken erfolgt in der Sand Bar mit einem Erfrischungsgetränk entspannt im Sitzen. Das Personal ist unglaublich nett. Im Restaurant hat man immer den gleichen Kellner, bei uns war dies Lasantha, der so unglaublich zuvorkommend war. Die Kellner in der Sand Bar waren gleichermaßen alle super nett und teilweise schon sehr lange auf der Insel beschäftigt. Unsere Bungalows lagen, wie gewünscht, direkt nebeneinander. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und unheimlich schön eingerichtet. Die Betten sind unglaublich bequem. Zum Strand hin sind es nur wenige Meter und jeder Doppelbungalow hat quasi einen eigenen Strandabschnitt. Liegen und sehr bequeme Auflagen gibt es am Strand und vor dem Bungalow ebenfalls einen Tisch und 2 Liegestühle. Am Strand konnte man auch sehr gut ohne Badeschuhe gehen, der Sand ist herrlich. Die Wege zu den Bungalows und die Pflanzen werden ständig gepflegt. In der Schnorchel- und Tauchbasis begeistern Sue und Ricardo die Gäste. Man bekommt eine tolle Einweisung in die Unterwasserwelt rund um die Insel herum und kann diverse Ausflüge buchen, wenn gewünscht. Im All-inclusive war eine Sunset Bootsfahrt inkludiert und diese sollte man unbedingt mitmachen. Soooooo schön! Ansonsten sind wir am Hausriff geschnorchelt, welches eine große Vielfalt an Korallen und Fischen bietet. Highlight waren die Schildkröten. Der Scuba Diving Schnupperkurs bei Ricardo war klasse! Das Essen war wundervoll. Das Menü am Abend ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Die Themenabende ein Traum. Ein Familienmitglied hatte während des Urlaubs Geburtstag. Von einer wunderbaren Bettdeko bis hin zu einem Dinner am Strand mit Geburtstagstorte und Ständchen war an alles gedacht. Ein riesiges Dankeschön nochmal! Ein unvergesslicher Geburtstag. Das Abendprogramm hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

We enjoyed Makunudu so much. It was a nice calm island with beautiful greenery to walk through and amazing turquoise waters. A beautiful place to relax! We loved our little house and the fact it was nicely secluded from other's. Just a few steps away from the beach. The people at the dive center were the nicest and we loved diving with them. The house reef was a treat as well, we saw turtles, reef tip sharks and many coloured fish almost every time. The staff were all nice, and you could enjoy the best massage and nice food. Maybe some might judge other wise, but we loved the a la carte menu. Felt like dining out every day. All in all we really would recommend Makunudu!

Unfortunately the boat ride towards Makunudu was a bumpy one. Also the staff onboard did not inform us much, as they made a detour to another island to pick something up without telling (making the drive from 45 to 75 minutes). The staff at the airport was also not really welcoming... Once you stepped on the island, it was all perfect. An advice for the ride back we took -and for other guests: be seated at the back. Then you do not feel those huge bounces. Another negative point is the fact that the resort has daily rounds of mosquito spray. Spray is a small word, it is thick and smelly smoke. As Makunudu is an eco resort, we do not think you should use this poisoning smoke. And we know there are quite some mosquitoes -we were also bitten during the day while sunbathing- but still this method is not appropriate.

Pretty much everybody was very nice and smiling. Restaurant service personal, bar tenders and all others - all very friendly. Room - although kind of older - was well maintained and cleaned multiple times a day. Diving center people very friendly. Places we went to do scuba diving were picked very nicely. We saw octopus, turtles, sharks.. Snorkeling on the reef edge has lot of fish corals and is nice experience. Plenty of foot, great quality and taste.

As certified divers, we took the chance to to dive with the hotel diving center. I opted to buy 12 dives packages which should come with nice discount. I planed to consume these 12 dives as shared with my wife. In the end, they billed us as 2 x 6 dives, just to avoid to give us 12 dives discount.. Little bit bitter and over all picture damaging experience. Also communication with the hotel before arrival was kind of problematics. They did not reply to my emails send through booking.com for weeks. It almost looked like they vanished. We had to contact them by phone to verify, that they reservation is OK and that transport to the island will be provided. I even tried to contact the m through Makunudu's own website, but even that was not easy. Internet service is present on the whole island, but the connection quality if pretty bad. Sometimes it work, mostly not so much. Ended using my own data e-sim which was OK. My booking.com reservation listed that we should have late checkout as an extra. But the property told us NO and we had to vacate the room exactly at 12. They told us, they have some other guest complaining that they do not have beach in front of the room and that they promised them our room already. Transport to and from the island ( 45minutes by speed boat) costs cca 420 USD for two. It is done by Makunudu owned speedboats which they share with some of other resorts. When arriving, we had to wait for almost 3 hours for the boat to take us to the island. On the way back, we were told that we had to depart at 2PM, so we arrived to the airport before 3PM. They knew that our flight was scheduled at 10PM and they knew that we will not be allowed to enter departure hall before 7 PM, so we ended sitting outside of the airport for 4 hours before being allowed to go in to do check-in. Seems like they do not care much how long you will be sitting on the airport...

Nature is impressive, beautiful. I liked menu dinner, we could choose in the morning. Once was barbecue buffet. Silence. Nature.

House reef is weak. The bed, the mattress is worn out. Uncomfortable furniture.

Hervorragendes Essen. Sehr schöne kleine Insel mit Wohlfühlcharakter. Romantische Dinner am Strand inclusive. Viele Fische und Haie am Riff. Schönes Hausriff mit teilweiser intakter Korallen. Tolles Gesamtteam! Herzliches Personal.

Wir haben frühzeitig um ein Wunschzimmer angesucht, dieses aber nicht bekommen. Strandabschnitt klein und im Wasser viele Korallenbrüche. Trotzdem schön😁

Lovely beach bungalow with direct beach access just a couple of meters away. We loved the outside shower.

Nothing, just one recommendation would be to fit mosquito nets over the bed.

Das Personal, das Essen einfach alles Traumhaft. Ein sehr schönes fast noch intaktes Hausriff mit wenig Strömung. Alle haben sich so viel Mühe gegeben. Tolle Begrüßung. Gute Betreuung. Echte Empfehlung von uns. Sehr faire Getränke und Speisen Preise. Überhaupt eine preiswerte Insel.

Ein wenig in die Jahre gekommene Bungalows. Es gibt auch ein paar Moskitos. Unser Rücktransfer war sehr früh, obwohl unser Flug erst Mittags ging.

The WiFi was very, very poor. The room was not clean enough , there was a lot of dust behind the curtains and in the walls. The water on the terrace has not been changed while our stay untill we asked the roomboy to change it. Also there are wavebreakers build of stone, which are not shown on the pictures here. The beach is kind of divided by them. We also had to pay the full return price for the transfer even though we came from another island and not from the airport in Male. Their argument was that we booked it like this through the 3rd party and thus have to pay the full price for return trip instead of one way to the airport. Maybe contractwise they are clean but from the customer orientation point of view it was a very unpleasant experience (and not cheap 249$ per person!) that left a bitter aftertaste

Sehr freundliches Personal, immer hilfsbereit. Gibt es mal ein Problem wird es behoben. Sehr leckeres einheimisches Essen, vor allem leckerer Fisch. Das Essen wird liebevoll angerichtet, besonders die Curries waren sehr lecker. Das Riff um die Insel lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Strand ist einfach toll. Die Betten sind sehr bequem!

Einige Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, vor allem das Badezimmer könnte etwas renoviert werden.

Makunudu Island really is an unspoilt hideaway. Such a beautiful little place with a barefoot - ‘no news, no shoes’ approach to hospitality. I went there to get some peace and quiet to work on my book and it certainly delivered that. The team could not have been more helpful. Sadiq even built me an outdoor desk to write at. It’s very personal, everyone knows your name, and there are just 36 bungalows on the whole island. I loved being able to snorkel the reef right outside my room, having my own private stretch of beach and being able to swim round the whole island in 45 minutes, and walk it in 12. If you want motorised watersports and oversea bungalows, flashy restaurant and strong WiFi - this is not your island. If, like me, you value being close to nature and a personal touch - you could not find a better place to be. Thank you to the whole team for their care 🙏

There is an issue with the generator noise for some of the bungalows at the far end of the island which kinda ruins the peace.

El snorkel desde la playa, directamente del porche de la cabaña. Arrecife impresionante, tiburones punta negra, punta blanca, tiburon nodriza a docenas, las tortugas, y una infinidad de todos los seres del océano. Ricardo & Su han sido la clave de una instancia excelente y inolvidable, un millón de gracias Sneha "La dueña de las llaves" la recepcionista muy eficaz y profesional, ayudado en todo lo posible, en general el personal muy eficaz y hamable!

It was incredible time! All team are very pleasant and take care of you all time! Very calm and relaxing atmosphere and especially I wanna noted Dive Sport Team and Susi yoga teacher. Reception always can help you with your desires. The bar maintenance should be more professional and polite, but it’s OK. It was unreal vacation !

The island is beautiful The staff were all excellent at their jobs, they went above and beyond to help you have a great stay. The housekeepers and waiters and reception staff all did a great job and had a lovely manner I really enjoyed the food, snorkelling and walking the beaches, I liked being able to walk around most of the island this is important to enjoy the place fully

A Truly Enchanting Escape to Makunudu Island Our recent stay at Makunudu Island was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility and natural beauty that truly captivated us. While the bungalows might show a touch of age, this in no way detracted from the overall experience. In fact, it almost added to the island's rustic charm. What truly shone was the incredible ambiance of being on this idyllic island, especially when shared with someone dear. There's a certain magic in the air that allows you to simply be yourselves and soak in the breathtaking surroundings. The culinary experience was a definite highlight. Each meal was a delight, showcasing fresh and delicious flavors that left us completely satisfied. The staff at Makunudu also deserve high praise. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready with a smile and assistance, yet they perfectly balanced this with a respectful distance, allowing us the space and privacy to fully enjoy our time together and the island's serenity. The natural beauty of Makunudu is simply stunning. Whether exploring the vibrant underwater world while snorkeling or diving, or simply gazing at the crystal-clear turquoise waters surrounding the island, every moment felt like a postcard come to life. Our holiday on Makunudu Island was more than just a getaway; it was an enchanting experience that has left a lasting impression. We were so utterly charmed by the island's unique atmosphere and beauty that we are already dreaming of our return.

Our only minor disappointment was the wait for the speedboat transfer upon arrival at Malé airport. We had to wait for another couple who were also heading to Makunudu, which resulted in a delay of over three hours at the airport. After a long journey, the heat and tiredness made this wait somewhat unpleasant.

AMAZING!!!!! Beautiful paradise island with stunning beaches and beautiful blue sea full of colourful marine life! Lovely beach huts, great friendly staff who go the extra mile for you (especially Subra he was amazing), superb food. All round amazing piece of paradise in the Maldives!

Fantastic beach bungalow with terrace, surrounded by palms and with amazing access to the ocean. Very good location for snorkling, swimming and diving. The beauty of the ocean unforgettable. Friendly and helpful staff.

Food below expectations: only 2 times per week buffet and 5 times dinner a la carte with limited options of dishes. Dinner was served very late (from 7:30 PM). Very poor internet connection, even next to wi-fi routers.

The peacefulness, intimacy and privacy of the island was absolutely incredible. The island has also been kept very natural, so although there are no gyms, or swimmings pools etc, you feel like you are on a traditional Maldivian island. The food was amazing and the staff made it all even better, from remembering our favourite drinks, advising about snorkelling to helping us get to another island immediately to see a doctor when we needed it!

all very well, a real island, wild but with all the fundamental services of a resort, ideal for couples, for families like ours (two children aged 19 and 22), for everyone. you can feel comfortable but if you want to have fun just go on excursions and meet the fantastic diving guys. you can snorkel everywhere or almost everywhere around the island, fish, turtles, sharks, manta rays....we saw everything. excellent food, wide choice, very friendly staff. large and clean rooms. the sunset was wonderful... one evening there was a boy playing the guitar at sunset... exceptional

Our stay in Makunudu was surreal. The island is very small and you walk everywhere - don't bother bringing shoes, you will not need them. It's a bit like being in a jungle. It was raining a lot when we went, but because of all the trees, we were protected from it. The staff is incredibly nice and available. Very genuine and always with a smile on their face. You can tell they have a good life living and working on that island. Lasantha was our main server, and he was so nice. Looked after us really well. The bungalow rooms were big enough, and I loved the interior and the lighting. The bed was huge and very comfortable. I loved the open shower. The coral reef is incredible, I have seen so many fish, turtles, colours and variety. I also did two scuba diving lessons, and that was for me the highlight of my holiday. We also used the spa, and were very happy about it. Loved how it was located two steps away from the beach (I mean, the island was very small, so no chance it would have been located differently). It really felt like going to a quite and relaxing paradise, and I prefer this type of resort over bigger commercial ones any day.

The only comment I would leave is to improve the food choice. I would give this a 7/10. I preferred the buffet over the fixed dinner menu. The buffet had ok variety, and too much of the same type of fish. I really did not like the dinner. Too big portions. The taste was a bit bland. We did love the Maldivian night food and the BBQ night food though. I would recommend to revisit it and make a wider selection of food. Also, not all bungalows have a nice access to the sea. To reach the water we had to go down a "cliff", there was not a big stretch of sand and I could not access the water as it was too rocky from where our room was. I had to go around other's people front beach to get a good access. It made accessibility a problem, so I was mainly using the main common beach. Maybe have a look at the map before going and request a room with good beach access before hand. Having said that, overall it still was a 9/10 for me, and I would go back.

Beautiful little beach. Not a big resort so nothing crowded, beach, dining area etc. The best bit .... the staff. From different parts of the world they were all friendly, efficient & helpful all the time.

As for all the resorts, pricing is expensive.

beach: all corals were dead and not many species of fishes can be found around the hotel. hence direct snorkling is a total disappointment meal: mostly indian cuisine with curry. desserts was good with wide options Service: staff are polite. only disappointed that i need to pay for a lighter to light mosquitoes coils in my room facilities: no other facilities except massage and badminton court. sad to realised that room has no TV

The SUP cost was very expensive. The drinks package was odd. Only certain cocktails included but ones that would normally be cheaper back home were not?

Inbound transfer to island was a 2 hour wait. Not as advertised As per previous reviews the only major let down on the isalnd are the bungalow bathrooms. They are in a poor state of repair and just about a 3 star level.

Nice staff, cosy environment.

Limited space - nowhere to go and do if the weather turned out bad which was out situation for 3 full days of rain, no swimming pool, no fitness centre. No TV set in rooms. Slow wifi.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful! Bungalows are wow: the bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable, and the private beach spot!! OMG! Food is simply outstanding: the quality and variety!!! The coral reef is just at swimming distance and is beautiful. And so much more...

The staff is super friendly, food is delicious and nature is astounding. House reef is rich and there is a lot to see when snorkeling.

Few times there was a smell of smoke. We guess it was of a burning waste. It was just for an hour or two, but it was quite unpleasant.

We loved the quietness the place. The room had good beach access, and it was so relaxing. The rooms were clean and the whole resort was very well maintained. All staffs were very pleasant and friendly.

Dinner time started at 8pm, and we are usually an early dinner person. It would be have been good if dinner starts at 7pm.

Food was tasty, draft beer is OK

24-year-old resort, in need of repair for a long time. Everything is overgrown with bushes, you can't see the sea from room. All prices are without tax 25% !!!!!, The romantic dinner costs $312 instead of $250 Diving center very expensive $110 per dive, terribly conceited instructor. Nitrox is only 25. for nothing. Bluff. I will not return there again
