The facilities were great! Love the gym and the pool but unfortunately I didnt get to swim, I only visited it. Overal clean room and the staff were super helpful and friendly.

The renovation is a bit old, and you can see chipped tiles, tap with hardened minerals on it, the drawer didnt close properly because of wear and tear.

The breakfast was of a good quality, except that the egg station mass produced fried eggs so that anyone eating one, had to eat it cold. Staff were, however, receptive and friendly and a special mention for the front office staff and the restaurant staff.

The restaurant was non functional for dinner except on Friday and Saturday, leaving guests with the option of choosing from a very limited room service menu or finding a restaurant outside of the hotel. For international travellers, this is not easy to do owing to the language barrier. The room air-conditioning was extremely poor and I was unable to sleep comfortably. Eventually, I had to ask for a pedestal fan so that I could actually get some sleep.

Loved the freshly baked cookies 😋 that they presented to us as their welcoming gift to all their hotel guests ~ Very heartwarming gesture indeed!🤗

The ventilation system is not working well at all . Stay for 3 nights and woke up 3 nights because of sweat . Aircon was not working . Given the benefit of doubt that it was winter thus the aircon system cannot be turned on however we still feel the heat with the window opened as suggested by the front desk . If guest cannot feel the comfort of staying in the hotel for whatever reasonable reason , the hotel fail its primary purposes . *. Setting of ventilation panel on wall was confirmed to be correct .

As always the level of courtiousness, professionalism of the personnel at the Double Tree by Hilton in Putian doesn't disappoint. The facilities and services are right on point and the location is superb. That is why this is my best and only choice when coming to Putian.

I travel to Putian at least once each year for business, and I would always choose this hotel. During my first visit to Putian, I stayed at this hotel for 12 days, and the staff made it feel like home away from home in Putian. There are no other hotels in Putian which compare to the level of service received here, the service is excellent! If you are traveling for business, then this really is the best option. Front desk staff are very friendly and do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible, the FD management are superb! concierge service is very good and always on hand. Fitness center and pool is the best in Putian. Most of the staff speak English and are knowledgeable. I recommend trying The buffet dinner , as it has has a very good selection of fresh local seafood. Overall I think I have stayed at this hotel more than 25 days to date.

Appreciated Mendy's services in the breakfast session. She is an energised girl, always smile and let guess felt comfortable, enjoyable. Not appreciated on the TV content and it's video quality in guess room. There is very limited choice of foreign channel for selection. HBO in poor video quality. I think it is due to the old and poor tv distribution system used. No news channels, no BBC, no CNN, no National Geographic channel, no Discovery channels .

Overall a pleasant business trip stay in Putian. Hotel staff is helpful and good service.

1st time ever visiting Putian and saw this hotel on trip dot com so I booked it and was not dissapointed. Check in was great, was upgraded to a suite and the room was amazing, large seperate living room and the bed was very comfortable. Tried the buffet dinner at the basement restaurant but the food was very average and the draft beer omg that was so FLAT, it was like drinking yellow water. Overall still a great hotel/room, will definitely still stay here next time.

酒店空間算大，check in / check out 手續也快, 地點附近多食肆，但房間煙味很，半夜抽風不足。

Apparently it’s still winter in China but it’s nearly 30 degrees Celsius . There is not AC in the room, they’ve switch off the hotel AC and refuse to turn it on.

Everytime i come to Putian i stay at this hotel, but this time i was disappointed by the restaurant. First of all i reserved a room for two people using hotels.com and it included breakfast, but at the time of check-in i was advised the second person was going to be charged extra!! (i mean come on... if your reservation shows a room for two, breakfast included... it is a breakfast for two!!) and secondly... when going down to the restaurant it was a mess, dirty, messy, no fresh juices, fruit bar without fruit, stale breads, greasy but hard mini croissants... totally out of control! See the attached pics and judge for yourself!! Not something you would expect at a Hilton! Sorry!

As an American woman travelling solo for business to Putian, the customer service really stood out as exceptional. Christy and the staff throughout the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The buffet dining was quite good and offered many options. The amenities were very good although the pool was closed during my stay for refurbishing. I would gladly stay at the hotel again. It's a 10-minute taxi to Wanda Plaza and behind the hotel is a local marketplace. Also, a 30-minute drive to visit Mazu on the island.

The smell of the room is like moldy and the parking lot is awful, there is no clear indication of where is the exit.

We have visited Putian 3 times and stayed at the Doubletree Hotel on two occasions. On the first visit we upgraded to an Executive room with access to the Executive Lounge which I would recommend if you are staying for a week or more. On our second visit we stayed in a regular room which was also of a very high standard. The hotel is well located with local shops, restaurants and an amenity park all within walking distance. Taxis are best ordered through the helpful hotel staff who will confirm the journey price with the driver. We found a young manager Jay to be very helpful and he was fluent in English. We are going back to stay there again for 11 days starting on the 8th February and I will update my review afterwards.

Much better than I had hoped. I had perhaps quite low expectations but the staff were doing their best and the room was good. Breakfast as good as they get in China so I will go back next time I come to Putian.

Very nice hotel, staff are great and friendly. Rooms are clean and the hotel was fairly quiet. Only thing that marred the stay was the guests spitting in the sauna heater and the showers. Luckily the hot tub was out of action so there was no need to worry about spitting in there.

I stayed for one night but it was a comfortable. After a long day of travelling, the welcome cookie made a lot of difference in Perking up. Checking in and was was without any fuss as language was not a problem.

Staffs are well trained to offer assistance. Facilities are good and meet Hilton standards. However, the TV channel is less than others. There are no National Geographic channel and Discovery channel provided as compared with Xiamen Hilton that I stayed one day after.

I cycled through the mountains from Dehua to Putian with a friend. We arrived at the hotel late afternoon, weary from our journey. We'd had two flawless stays in Chinese hotels the previous 2 nights and had high expectations for the Double Tree. Sadly they were not to be met. Checkin was an unnecessarily complex and frustrating experience. According to their records our stay didn't include breakfast when the CTrip app clearly showed it did. While I was trying to solve this issue an overly keen member of hotel staff tried to hassle my bike away from me. After we finally got checked in a whole team of hotel staff followed us to the lift yet again hassling us. After we finally arrived in the room we found it to be small and uncomfortably humid. There was strange lumps of dirt in the bathroom and ridiculously tiny bottles of soap and shampoo. The dinner buffet was ok, but nothing special. The desserts the most disappointing.

PROs - clean room - very comfortable bed and pillows - warm welcome by staff and cookie at check-in - 24 hour fitness room with very limited equipment though CONs - WiFi is intermittent and weak at best. - breakfast buffet was weak. Selection was mediocre. Food was gross. Needs renovation. - 2nd floor Chinese restaurant was a nightmare: 20 minute wait for four warm beers. Good was gross. Diarrhea next morning. SUMMARY The price was under $100. Only upside was a great night sleep in a comfortable bed. Everything else sucked.

Stayed for couple nights for business trip. Pluses: - big spacious rooms; - comfortable bed; - nice decor; - ok pool and gym; - ok service. Specially would like to note young man Jay - his exceptional service at reception and concierge area made staying super comfortable. His Service is at highest level. Minuses: - SUPEP BAD INTERNET CONNECTION - difficult to connect, slow speed in the rooms (my colleagues experienced same). Staff didnt know that need to put surname And not room number for password. Keep repeating wrong information. So spent lot of time to connect. After a while connection stopped and could not connect again. Speed is super slow. Had to come down to lobby. Internet in our age is super important! I should not even think about it! Instead i spend my time connecting, spend extra time due to time waste! - so-so quality breakfast. Selection is not bad. But taste plane. Bread toasting machine doesnt work. Pancake station was not working at 7 am. Overall - ok. Just need to improve..... first of all - INTERNET!

Probably the best hotel in Putian at this time. Well located and easy to get around the city by taxi. Rooms were clean and well maintained and very North American in setup. Service was good although front desk was a bit confusing at times. But would stay there again when back in putian.

A very nice hotel, very good breakfast!!! Is the 3rd time that I stay here and always I received a very good service. Unfortunately I always had short stay, so I didn’t try all the services that they offer

I stayed this time 3 nights in Double Tree Hotel by Hilton Putian because of business. The welcome cookie is just amazing. The fitness as the swimming pool are nice as well. However, the internet connexion is very instable: wireless or ethernet.

This was my first time to Putian and I was so surprised by how lovely this hotel was. Room was large, clean, quiet, and had a WONDERFUL view of the plaza (beautifully lit at night) and the mountains. Very pleasant. I was there for 8 days, and ate most of my meals at the hotel. They have a lovely buffet going all day (with good variety from day-to-day) and then a menu with Western items (steak, chicken breast, pasta). The staff was wonderful. Especially appreciate Selena and Beck who always took good care of me. The gym was great, and even though I didn't use it, the pool looked stunning and great for someone who likes to swim laps. I would certainly book again without hesitation if my travels take me to Putian.

I could not get proper heating from the climate control system. It would blow cold air even though I had set it to get warmer. Heat was provided only shortly at night and later in the morning for a limited time. The cold made my body ache sine the outside temperature as 5 to 10 C.

Doubletree Hilton standards with spacious rooms and great view of the mountain. The service staff were very gracious and helpful when I experienced some issues with the air conditioning. The amenities were excellent, gym and pool is well designed, spacious with most standard equipments available. December in Putian is quite ‘warm’ (18-27 degrees), but the thermostat is set to 21 degrees which was still warm, so be prepared for that. The cookies were always something to look forward to at every stay with Doubletree.

My first time in Putian. What a nice hotel. Warm welcome cookie. Helpful staff. Nice design and spacious rooms. Breakfast is 10/10. Coffee shop ladies couldn't be more helpful. Fast check-in and out at the front desk. Looking forward to visiting there again.

Spacious room, good amenities, nice gym, but bed is soft and room temperature capped at 22 degrees which is too warm on hot days

Great hotel located near the city centre, beautiful mountain view in the background and easy to get a cab to anywhere. The staff are proficient in English and offer assistance at every opportunity. Those welcome cookies are delicious too!

Welcome cookie is a nice touch. Especially after a long flight. Great English speaking staff at front desk, super helpful with challenges and making travel arrangements with local transport.

Do not book airport pick up through hotel, if your plane gets delayed, they will charge you for the driver anyway, even if you do not get that service

Hotel staff was incredibly helpful with fluent English, whether in neighborhood information or hotel services. It is conveniently located in central Putian with 5-10 min taxi ride to shopping areas or restaurants. Room is spacious and clean, and the breakfast is great value both by the food and warmly welcoming waiters/waitresses. Recommended for both solo travelers as well as couples, business people and the like.

This is the best hotel we ever stayed in China Putian. We love the Foot reflexology spa which is just 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Will surely book this hotel again in future.
