Rumi Apartelle Hotel

Budget friendly hotel near Sm Clark. No shuttle bus to get around. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and accomodating. There was an issue with the cable tv and it was fixed asap. The bed was comfortable but was too noisy when you moved. Also, you can hear noises from outside like the tricyles, cars, and people outside. Aircon was cold and in good working condition.

This was fraud. They were nothing like they presented themselves to be: false photos on the website, dirty linen and towels strewn in the hallways. Very poor lighting. Unprofessional staff pretending to cancel my reservation when along they were just delaying us until the pending transaction went thru. It was undoubtedly the worst accommodations I’ve experienced in my entire life. They do not deserve to be on Expedia. Send representatives to see for your self. Reprehensible!!

The property was great, friendly staff and they were always helpful!! Only issue with the room was there was no kitchenette (stove) and the refrigerator was tiny. Outside of that, the stay was great

My go to place in Angeles City. Not flash but in a wonderfully quiet and safe neighborhood with lovely helpful staff.

A regular stayer at this property. Although a no frills place I love the quiet and safe location and also the very helpful staff.

I have stayed at Rumi every year for a very long time, but as much as I like it, it is getting worse each trip. There is mold in each room and heavy in the bathrooms. And there is a driver but he was busy every weekday afternoon taking the owners son or brother to school so guest could not use the van. Other than that, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was reasonable clean, still the best option for the price in AC!

Shower head with saving water faucet, get hardly wet used wrong caulking thus all wet corner full of mildew, obviously sanitary caulking was too epensive to use or no knowledge

Pretty good. Just found a used shampoo sachet in the bathroom. It would be nicer if you feel that the room is squeaky clean before checking in.

Clean tidy budget room, noise travels easily from reception, and other guests. Easy 20peso jeepney ride to main areas, but bit isolated when coming home late, better to get a trike home for extra pesos

Hotels staff very courtesy, arrived early for parking, room with kitchenette was comfortable small refrigerator and microwave, only negative ants in the bed both night the staff brought can of bug spray room 219, location is good, price was great, didn't try the breakfast, but the order menu they advertise for food was awesome, would definitely stay again just another room. If you are a light sleeper the trike may wake you up throughout the night.

I did not stay in the hotel myself. I booked it for someone else.. He was pleased with it. He said the room was big enough for a small family, it was clean and the check in was hassle free. I also called the night before and had a pleasant experience conversing with the lady at the front desk.

Overall stay was excellent but bathroom and kitchen sink needs a total renovation. Lotsa molds building in the bathroom, stains on kitchen countertop, fridge is working but inside the fridge is a lot of rust. Thats the superior room. Please who ever the owner is pls consider the complaint. I mean you could totally see this. Ive been in different rooms from standard to superior rooms all of them have the same problem. Ive been offered different hotel rooms for less price but chose to stay at Rumi and thats because of the staff, u should give them a raise btw, their excellent.

Great budget accomodation close to Clark airport and Walking Street. New rooms a modern and very clean. Older rooms are dated and need renovating. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

Booked 2 nights and stayed 3. The shower was excellent, powerful and very hot. Room was very good. I used the free shuttle several times, even got free ride to my next hotel. Cooked in room and made coffee. The free breakfast is only an egg and toast with coffee.

We stayed in Rumi for 3 nights. I must say, it is one excellent hotel. We stayed in the standard room, which was the cheapest but i did not feel it is. Our room had a queen size bed, very very cold aircon, clean bathroom, free towels and toiletries and also had coffee tables and 2 chairs. Just wow! It was great for that price. Plus, the free american breakfast every morning was very delicious. The room and bathroom are so spacious. The environment was very safe and quiet. What i liked about the hotel is that they don't charge corkage for outside food and also massage. Delivery is also available in the area. I like it because it is very near to the Clark gate and other places. I will surely recommend this hotel, even the cheapest room they have and it wont disappoint you at that price. But maybe next time i will get the standard deluxe room when i bring my son to Clark next trip.❤️❤️❤️

Two week stay -- home away from home. Great staff.

This place is great - stayed there many times! This time they upgraded to Cignal satellite for the tv and the internet was fast and always working. Toast and eggs with coffee is a great free breakfast each day! The staff is great - rooms are great - you won't find a better deal in any city!

The place was great and the locations was in the perfect spot. The staff was very friendly and helpful and always took care of my needs and always kept the room clean when I asked.. great air conditioning and great selection of channels and movies on tv. The shower had good water preasure and it was hot or cold, which ever you prefer. Will be staying at the rumi again in the future.

Very disappointing room; there was a new section across from us that was much better. Our room was old and dated, sink wouldn't drain, bathroom became flooded after each shower. Saw a cat on the range licking the pan. Good hot water and air conditioning.

Everything was ok except for the wifi connection in our room

My main concern with the Rumi Apartelle is the location. It is down a dark street which at night would not be recommended for walking to and from. There are similarly priced hotels nearby which are in much more secure locations. Otherwise the room is fine and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is a free car service to the SM Mall or Walking Street which is very handy, although it's just the one car so is not always available.

Flew in late, checked in 1:30 AM, met the sweetest & best clerk, she made the whole stay better. Room was average/fine, decent cable, sweet AC, LOVED having a balcony with tables/chairs. Cooked to order breakfast-amazing Tocino, best in 4-years! Its a street behind/away from club district; so convenient yet quiet. Beware getting a top (4th floor) room. My career keeps me in shape; but that climb (hotel built with no elevator) could be hard for some. All adds up to-I'd go back!

Not my first time here. Somehow they remembered my name, and what room I had been in 1 year ago. All employees willing to do anything to make your stay pleasant.

The room was perfect. Very clean. Comfortable, good AC, and very low price. Front desk staff are very courteous. Maintenance staff are way too nosey and sometimes inappropriate.

Did not stay. Refund not available. I made 3 reservations but due to unforseen circumstances I did not able to accomodate. Requested a refund but declined. I wasted a total of almost $100.

But I always stay in this hotel and will keep staying.

I usually stay around the action close to Walking Street but this time decided to stay away from the hustle and bustle and try Rumi Apartelle Hotel and to say the least i wasn't dissappointed. The hotel staff were like a family to me and were very helpful and welcoming always with a smile and a can do attitude.

Accessible, safe and quite. Has pick up service, excellent wifi, and very friendly accomodating staff. Would probably stay here again if I get a chance to come back

Everything was perfect in the superior room, except that it did not have hot shower. What I liked the most was the latex bed comfortable for sleep.

Staff are super courteous. Only limited TV channels. Sneezing Allergy as soon as I arrive -- either cat or room blanket/curtain fabric. Street / pavement streaming wet with puddles of water.

i love the staff and the rooms!!! Wifi and AC are wonderful. Great place for taking days off and just being to yourself. The staff are great as well!!! I even made one my best man!!!

I enjoyed my stay. I am familiar with the hotel from a previous stay but I got more familiar with the staff and they are very pleasant. Great service and I would recommend their top 2 tier rooms as they are newer. I stayed in one of the older rooms but it was good for what I needed it for. For a long stay I would prefer the top tier rooms.

Old hotel but very friendly and helpful staff.

I have stayed here 2 times now. The staff is very nice and the place is generally quiet. The superior rooms are nice, the standard rooms are small, but OK. The Superior is probably worth the extra P300 a night. Free breakfast every morning, but it is simple and small. My only complaint is the TV only has 15-20 channels, and maybe 5-10 in English. Not the AC cable system, but a satellite dish, apparently.

Quiet stay, came back twice in 5 days. Staff helpful and accomodating, had a problem with one room transferred me into another with no hassle. Almost perfect but theres one problem, bathroom has a little stink to it, not a urine smell but like moldy kinda damp smell. Lotsa of mold, maybe they need better cleaning supplies just use rubber slippers when using toilet or shower. Other than that it was a good, 3 out of 5.

This is the only place I will stay when visiting Pampanga... the staff is great, friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and the rate cant be beat.

Rooms - standard room for 4 nights. my room was right near lobby. Rooms are simple, I was pleased to have a sliding door & balcony. I wasn't happy about the bathroom;though it was not dirty, the fixtures really need refurbishing. They are OLD. (But I have come to realise that this is a general thing across budget hotels in Angeles City!). The bathroom was actually the reason I did not want to extend my stay. No fridge. Ants in the room... again, this seems to be a budget hotel thing here. Location – great that the hotel is not situated on the main road with all the XXX bars; it was one street behind that. Made all the difference. Noise - Even though the hotel is not on the main road, the whole night one can hear noise from tricycles and motorbikes on the street. The rooms are not sound proof. I'd hear when my neighbour turned on the A/C and opened/closed the door. I could also hear talking from the reception area...room location I guess. Staff - great! Always willing and ready to help and socialise. Food – Several options easily available. Breakfast is a simple slice of white toast and an egg & 3 in 1 instant coffee. Better than nothing, but adding a sausage or sliced tomato wouldn't hurt. Pluses - Free shuttle service to the SM shopping mall and so on. Iron available at reception. Every room has A/C. Laundry service for a tiny fee. Summary - probably one of the better options in Angeles City for this price!

Great staff and the owner was very personable .She was always willing to help in any way.The staff was always responsive. The hotel is located inside a subdivision so it is about a 10 min walk to the main road to find a taxi or you can call for taxi which sometimes takes a while.The only negative I found in our room was the hot water was never consistent .The heating unit which was located in he shower head looked quite old and was in need of replacement.I would highly recommend this hotel and my wife and I will stay there again in a few days.

Overall, I had a good experience. The staff was ALWAYS friendly, smiling, attentive and helpful. I opted for the cheapest room available and was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room.

Bedding, towels and room were dirty. No toiletries included. Have to make a special request to have your room made up, and even then they do not restock toilet paper.

Felt secure. Staff attentive to my needs. Great price. Staff invited me to eat with them numerous times which I did. Staff helpfull with the traveling and protecting your self and valuables when traveling outside

I had an excellent stay at Rumi, the whole staff was friendly, cheerful and helpful. Great stay started from the moment their drive picked me up in Manila. I would recommend Rumi to anyone... can't say enough :-)

We're overall rather pleased, extremely helpful and friendly staff, Brandon deserves special reward. Room (102) very easy (ground floor) but little noisy for almost all guest pass there. Spacious, clean, but little outdated; a renovation is most welcome (repaint and renew faucet -almost no space between water stream and sink)

This was my second stay at rumi hotel. Awesome service! Clean room and money for value. Great location as it was away from the noisy busy district.

Should have listened to the guy who said there were only about 4 channels in English. Maybe there are 5 or 6, but one is an adult channel. The staff is very nice, and things generally were in good condition in the rooms I stayed in (alternated between standard and deluxe). The deluxe is probably worth the extra money, as it is bigger, quieter, has a fridge and more reliable hot water.

This hotel had great staff and looks very clean. Owned and run by local fillipino so I got a warm feeling throughout the stay. Their driver service is great and my late checkout was accommodated. Top class staff and even the cleaners were efficient but didn't give an extra toilet roll when it was nearly finished. But saying that the roll is behind the roller door the negative side was the shower was right next to the toilet so it got wet quoth every shower and the whole floor was wet. Kitchen has no facilities like cutlery or cooking area but does have microwave. The room is very spacious and white so it looks clean. Safe inside room is a bonus and a dining area. I valued the big table as my suitcase fits on it and they have cable TV but the signal is poor and many channels don't work. Wifi is great. There is a walk to the main road but not far and has some sort of lighting at night. Best part is the locals live here so it is always used and I felt safe from the people but not from the roaches and rats the main road is full of jeepneys and the hotel does SM drop off for free

They have complementary shuttle service to the entertainment district. The breakfast was average.

Though location is far from friendship gate, its better for those who like away from crowded people like me. Shuttle service is good, bfast is simple egg,toast,coffee..its good enough for me. Free shuttle to sm mall, staff are helpful n friendly, u can always ask them and they will help as much as they can. I will definately stay here if im getting the room behind building

Although priced in the budget range, the hotel provided great service, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms had security box and were clean and tidy. I'd definately stay there again.

The room was not what I was expecting as the photos made it look really good. The kitchenette was a microwave and a one ring stove a couple of utensils but not pots pans or anything to cook with so having kitchenette was a waste of time and money. Staff friendly and helpful but rooms are only cleaned on request. Breakfast was rubbish just a very greasy lump of broken eggs made to look like an omlette and some cold toast and coffee, wouldn't stay there again

affordable, near the airport, neat interior design. however, front desk staff was inattentive and hot water thermos was not refilled.

The place is fair enough for an overnight stay before destination. Located between Clark airport and Dau. The room was clean, they had hot shower (but slow water pressure) and air condition. Breakfast (toast and butter) was provided. Not too far from main road. Receptionist was professional and friendly.

This is a one star property. Horrible television...4 cable stations only. No blanket on bed. Bad smell. No daily room service. Dirt service road to property. If price is your only consideration, this property works for you.

The hotel driver waited at the airport with a sign with my name even though the,flight was 30 mins late. The superior room with kitchenette was roomy and clean and the bed was comfortable and the a/c worked well. The staff were responsive to my needs.
