Schönes Hotel mit guter Halbpension.

Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen, die Gastgeber waren super freundlich. Das Zimmer hatte alles , was man benötigt und war ausreichend groß. Das Essen, wir hatten Halbpension gewählt, das ausgezeichnet.

Frühstück und Abendessen war vielfältig und schmackhaft, frisch zubereitet. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Gemütliches, geschmackvolles und liebevoll gestaltetes Ambiente

Es wäre schön, wenn es einen kleinen Relaxbereich mit Sauna und Infrarotkabine im Haus gäbe.

Das Haus wird von einer sehr engagierten Familie geführt, die alles unternimmt, damit man sich als Gast wohlfühlt. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist die ausgezeichnete Beratung zu der fachmännisch zusammengestellten Getränkeauswahl. Auch ein Lob an die Küche für die sehr leckere Zubereitung der Gerichte mit hochwertigen Produkten.

Świetna lokalizacja dla osób planujących jazdę zarówno na lodowcu Hintertux, jak i w ośrodkach Zillertal Arena / Mayrhofen. Obiekt znajduje się mniej więcej pośrodku między Hintertux a Mayrhofen, co pozwala każdego dnia elastycznie wybierać kierunek jazdy. Pokoje są bardzo czyste i dobrze utrzymane. Obsługa działa sprawnie, jest życzliwa i pomocna – wszystko przebiega bez zbędnych formalności. Posiłki zdecydowanie zasługują na wyróżnienie: kolacje są smaczne, urozmaicone i w jakości adekwatnej (a nawet przewyższającej) do ceny pobytu. Dodatkowym atutem jest sala rekreacyjna dostępna wieczorami – ping-pong, dart, piłkarzyki oraz konsola, co świetnie sprawdza się po dniu na stoku

A pleasant family hotel with pleasant hosts.

Everything was excelent

This was our 3rd stay in Austrian Tyrol so we are used to high Austrian standards of food and cleanness but this it was even beter than before. Everything was perfect. Room was big and clean with lot of space, huge balcony and nice view to Hintertux Gletcher. Food was excellent and hotel has very nice play room for days when weather is not so good. Biggest plus is family which run a hotel and works hard for a whole day. You really feel welcome here. If we ever come back to Tux (and I hope we do) we will definitely stay here.

Everything about our stay was great. The hosts were extremely nice a friendly. Our children loved the playing room. Food was excellent. Defenitely it is not a last time we visited this place. Location is great for the trips around a whole area.

Super friendly staff, good value for money. I really enjoyed my stay there. If you're skiing nearby you can even get your ski pass through the hotel.

We had a wonderful family holiday here. Owners are extremely pleasant and helpful. Food was delicate and very rich. Pension includes everything you need. It's not in the main street, which is also fine. I definitely recommend, we will for sure return to this wonderful place.

Cosy hotel run by wonderful family. Tasty food, beautiful hiking routes around. Easy access to the Hintertux glacier or the city of Mayrhofen. Don’t miss to visit the spa center in the nearby hotel for a reasonable price.

Breakfast and diner were exceptional. Rooms had a perfect view and we wished we could have extended our stay.

Excellent food, both breakfast and dinner. Helpfull owner trying to satisfy also a vegetarian guest. Very comfortable room, clean with lots of storage space.

Everything was great, very friendly and helpful staff. We got the menu dinner without pre-ordering and arriving almost too late. Kitchen is really very good, and the esspreso was probably the best I had in Austria

Great family-run hotel, very nice and clean, great food, exceptional hosts' attitude. We missed only fridge in the room, but in 3 stars hotel-pension it is not compulsory. Sourrounding is very hilly, so I would not recommend it to older or disabled people, who cannot enjoy hills (but it is not the fault of the hotel). Also for biking I recommend e-bikes. Nice children playgrounds, lot of cablecars... We enjoyed our stay and we would deffinitely love to came back.

Fortrinligt hotel ! Med en beliggende højt i bjergene og sidst i den hyggeligste tyroler by kunne vi ikke bo et bedre sted. Meget venligt og serviceminded personale, fortrinlig mad og en meget fin standard på hotellet. Ligger perfekt til ski og vandring. Vi kommer bestemt tilbage til netop dette hotel.

We had a great 6 nights stay before Christmas in Hotel Pension Sonnleiten. Everything was just perfect. Spacious modern room with view on Hintertux glacier, nice balcony with chairs, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, everything spotless and well maintained. The breakfast and dinner quality exceeded our expectations, it could be rated even higher than 3*hotel. But what makes this place so special is the pleasant atmosphere created by people who run this hotel. Sandra, Georg and Daniel are very welcoming, warm, friendly, honest and hard working people, they make sure every guest feels welcome, satisfied and comfortable there. The hotel was so tastefully decorated, we loved every corner there. Christmas atmosphere was felt all around the house. Thank you so much for great time and we will be definitely back again.

I am every year more times in Hintertux valley - this year opening skiing this weekend. First time in this pension. Was very nice, absolut clean, friendly framily owner, no problems with anything, perfect service during breakfast and diner, very good prices, place to park, very near to skiing for small children - by foot! Even during season you should come on skis to this place. Quiet place not near the main valley street.

This was my third stay with the Geisler Family at Sonnleiten, and for our skiklub it was the 10th stay here. We would NEVER change! The entire family is very serviceminded, and it really feels like coming home. The rooms are spacious and clean with everything you need, the food is very good (I just wish they would have eggs for breakfast), and very cozy atmosphere in the bar. Georg and Sandra are very flexible for us as a club, since we need to adapt our schedule depending on weather etc, and the hotel has everything we need to have a great week.

Wonderful small hotel at the foot of the Hintertux. Familyrun and extremely friendly and serviceminded. We feltt very welcome. Our room had views over the mountains. Nice size terass. The extra bed was comfortable. Recommendable. Well maintained house and rooms.

It is the best atmosphere in this hotel. The Geissler family is working together in it and they do their best to make you feel welcome. The food in the evening is always good and plenty. Make sure to order one of Sandras Kaiserschmarn. Lanersbach is a good location for skiing, by bus, you can visit 4 different skiing areas in a short time.

Every year I visit this pension with my girlfriend and friend in November for autumn skiing on the Tux glacier. Georg and his family really know to run pension - everything is just excellent - food, rooms, location. Owners are also very kind and they have perfect English and French which is quiet unusual for Austria. I have to also mention that every year there are some improvements - better rooms, great playroom etc. I strongly recommend to visit this pension, you won't be disappointed. I am already looking forward to this year stay:-).

The location, the rooms, the meals, the good spirit and the lovely attitude of the family team - all of it made a wonderful week of summer vacation in the Zillertal region. The sunny days were nice bonus.

Family run hotel. Super friendly and welcoming atmosphere in a calm and nice little village. Newly renovated with nice rooms and balconys. Breakfast and dinner was really good. Definitely coming back!
