Lovely building , dining room was exceptional such a beautiful room with high ceilings and remnants from the former convent it once was. Reception Staff and restaurant staff are friendly and helpful, food was very good , great location, very comfortable clean room , parking available at nearby hotel

Alles wirkte sehr gepflegt und sauber, schöne Ausstattung, schönes Zimmer. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Freundlicher Empfang, freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Ein Hotel mit einer super Qualität. Man merkt, dass immer daran gearbeitet wird, diese Qualität zu erhalten.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Nice building and stunning location

The staff were exceptionally helpful. After I’d checked in at reception, they immediately came out to the car to show us exactly where to park and help with our bags. The car park is within sight of the hotel, only about 50 metres away, and very easy to use.

Ligging is goed

Kamers op foto lijken veel mooier, uitzicht op parkeerplaats zonder terras. Geen frigo, geen koffieapparaat. Ontbijt ook overdreven duur voor wat je krijgt. Personeel was onvriendelijk. Met uitzondering van de receptie en 1 oudere dame.

Die zentrale und trotzdem ruhige Lage, die Sauberkeit. Kostenloser Parkplatz beim Montemare Hotel. Als bisher einziges Hotel, das ich kenne, hat das Hotel bereits während des Aufenthalts um Feedback gebeten. Wir hatten einen kleinen Kritikpunkt, der daraufhin sofort behoben wurde. Das hat mir sehr gefallen.

Wir hätten uns einen Wasserkocher und Tee/Kaffee gewünscht als zusätzliche Annehmlichkeit. Schade ist, dass es kein Frühstücksbuffet gibt und das Angebot im Hotel gegenüber anderen Bars sehr teuer ist. Wir haben allerdings eine nette Bar um die Ecke für unser Frühstück gefunden und das Thema dadurch gut gelöst.

Schönes Ambiente in historischem Gebäude mit stilvoller Einrichtung. Abgesicherter kostenfreier Parkplatz in der Nähe mit Kennzeichenerkennung. Gute Lage mit kurzen Distanzen sowohl zu Bars, Restaurants und Geschäften als auch zum Playa del Sablon. Kostenfreier Strandtuchverleih.

Location excellent, near rail station and near excellent beach and easy walking distance from most of the town. Beach towels provided. Eclipse shades provided! Very spacious room. Staff coped so well with our lack of Spanish. We came because we knew Llanes and wanted to see the solar eclipse. It was cloudy on the day but a great experience.

Tea or coffee making facilities in room would have been nice.

Convenient parking, room was clean with comfortable bed, location within the old town

A bit inconvenient not to have a kettle & cups in the room. The windows open out to the street, which can be noisy at times

Hotel with character located just off Central area of Llanes. Car parking in close proximity. Staff excellent. Restaurant superb with many excellent choices. Superb terrace so you can just relax.

l'équipe de football d'Espagne ne nous a laissé aucune chance en demie finale de la coupe du monde !

Fietsen die bij het arrangement zaten waren super goed, personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Parkeerterrein ook helemaal prima.

Ontbijt was matig, prijs tov kwaliteit.

Karaktervol gebouw, zowel exterieur als interieur van de kamer. Zacht beddengoed. Vriendelijk personeel. Goede communicatie vooraf. Wifi werkte perfect ook voor video calls.

El tener dos camas juntas, soy partidario de que den la opción de eso o cama de matrimonio, pondría aire acondicionado (aunque con el ventilador se está bastante cómodo)

We stayed here as a base for the Total Eclipse. Beautiful hotel, no air conditioning, but an above bed fan, and we were comfortable. Room spotless and the restaurant provided excellent food at both breakfast and dinner. Parking nearby and the hotel accommodated my medical requirement without hassle. Definitely recommend, and we hope to be back

Restaurant : plats médiocres et service nonchalant / pas attentif avec erreur sur les commandes. Nous étions venus il y a 5 ans et nous avons trouvé globalement Don Paco en dégradation sur le service (le personnel semble etre plus composé de stagiaires que d'employés), surtout compte-tenu des prix qui sont assez élevés. Une déception, donc.

Hotel de ubicación excepcional, con instalaciones en general muy bien conservadas y ambientadas. Habitación adecuada para dos personas, muy limpia, cama confortable; con escritorio, caja fuerte y aire acondicionado. Baño también amplio, impecable, con buena presión de agua en la ducha. Hay un restaurante anexo al hotel, que incluye una terraza exterior muy agradable, que pueden utilizar las personas alojadas en el hotel. Personal tanto de recepción, restaurante y especialmente de limpieza, muy amables.

Close to town and beach. Friendly staff, very comfortable bed. Single room, but spacious enough, good shower and very clean. Water, apple juice and sweets a lovely treat.

The room was next to the stairs and lift so a little noise as people returned to rooms.

the hotel is located in the centre of Llanes, one is in walking distance of all the shops and beaches. It is confortable, nice and of good value. We particularly appreciated the superb dining room and the friendliness of the service. We took the half-pension, and the food was excellent, in particular amazing fresh fish and seafood. The portions were on the very generous side.

The room had only a ventilator not an AC, the nights were a bit warm, but it was ok.

Prachtige kamer en douche. De kamers werden super goed schoon gemaakt. De locatie in het centrum is heel fijn. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt, dat vonden we aan de prijzige kant. We hebben een keer gedineerd in de kapel van het hotel. Prima, maar ook dit was prijzig voor datgene wat je kreeg.

Wij lagen met onze kamer aan het plein, daar was het tot laat behoorlijk lawaaierig.

El sitio es absolutamente divino

Todo me gustó, pero creo que las habitaciones podrían ser mejor, el edificio es muy lindo, el personal es inmejorable, todos son amables, la oferta gastronómica es absolutamente deliciosa.

We loved the friendly welcome and the location of the hotel. We hired their fab ebikes for a day which were awesome. Being able to borrow beach towels was very helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

Fine hotel with high service and very helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and so is the bathroom. Lovely terrace serving drinks and snacks. The restaurant is on of the very best in town. Well stay here next time as well. Enjoy.

Relatief duur voor een driesterrenhotel. Jammer dat er voor dat bedrag bijvoorbeeld geen ontbijt is inbegrepen. Een (grote) bier op het terras kostte 7 euro.

Lovely town and great location. Cycled the the coast. Ate at restaurant twice and really enjoyed. Terrace bar lovely. Great parking and cycle store

Well located and has a great design update on a historic building. Front desk staff and housekeeping were warm and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely with lots of good items from which to choose. Fair nightly rate.

Wanted to give 3.5. Overall not too bad and it was nice to stay in a historic building, but there are some issues to be aware of. Location - good; close to Llanes train station and just outside the busy centre of the town with its open-air bars and restaurants. I did experience some street noise (my room was on the corner of Calle Colegio and Calle Egidio Gavito) and the hotel restaurant terrace is below, but when the window was closed most of the noise was blocked out. Room - I booked a single room and the room size exceeded my expectations with a double bed, desk, large bathroom with shower, safe, TV. There is no functioning air conditioning (although it does seem to have been installed but only works as a heater). With the bedroom window closed to keep the street noise out the room was quite stuffy. Although it was only mid 20s C during the daytime, nighttime temperatures stayed above 20C and the humidity was high so it would have been much more comfortable for sleeping if the air conditioning was able to cool the room. There is a ceiling fan and although it’s large it was barely up to the job. My other issue with the room was that there was no mini fridge and no kettle to make tea or coffee in the morning - that was quite a miss for me as I tend to wake up early and like to make a cup of coffee in my room. The TV is a modern internet TV but doesn’t seem to be connected to the internet so only terrestrial TV stations are available.

Nice clean rooms with lovely bathrooms and comfortable beds. Well situated near the old town and beach.

La ubicacion es muy buena un poco apartado del centro pero muy cerca. En el centro suele haber mucha gente y mucho ruido. Todo esta cerca. Bares cercanos para desayunar. Todo muy limpio y comodo. El restaurante la comida buenisima y a precios asequibles.

Debian poner escobillas para el water en el baño. Tambien vendria bien un pequeño frigorifico.

Great location, parking included which was close by and secure.

No kettle in the room although on our second morning there was free coffee and hot water in the dining area. No air conditioning but it was unusually hot, the ceiling fan helped greatly.

The restaurant was expensive and underwhelming. Would have been nice to have some tea/coffee making facilities in the room, no air con so quite noisy at night when the windows were open and it’s on a busy street

Habitación muy amplia, ventilador de techo, cama enorme y comodísima junto con las almohadas. No se oye nada. Detalle de agua a la llegada y a la salida. Muy limpio todo, tanto habitaciones como estancias. Baño con ducha y amenities. La ubicación es perfecta. No desayunamos porque nos pareció bastante caro pero tienes cafeterías por todas las calles con lo que no es problema. Repetiré sin duda. El personal de recepción muy amable.

We had a difficulty regarding service at dinner which we fed back to the hotel via a previous questionnaire and they took it seriously and were sincerely sorry. They made it better by a surprise free breakfast. This has boosted our opinion of how important their customer service is and I can recommend them most highly.
