Maehaad Bay Resort - SHA Plus

Absolutely beautiful resort! The pool, the breakfast, and our Deluxe room were all top-notch. The breakfast was also varied and delicious. We stayed at the hotel for one week and were absolutely delighted with our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!

The pool could use a little more maintenance. The dirty sun lounger cushions could also use a thorough cleaning. In addition, some of the floor panels around the showers are bent, which makes you feel a little unsure whether they might break while showering.

Dette er andre gangen vi var der (første gang 2019). Hotellet har fått seg en liten oppgradering siden sist til det bedre. Fantastisk hyggelig og hjelpsom personale og maten i restauranten er god og har bra pris. Synes frokosten var perfekt for oss. Salat, yoghurt og frukt med mye mer. Nydelig bassengområde, og nydelig portal inn til den nydeligste stranden.

Mooi resort, rustig gelegen met in de buurt wel voldoende restaurantjes en een Tops Daily. Tegenover het resort kan je een scooter huren en je was laten doen voor weinig geld. Het resort is mooi ruim opgezet en het ontbijt was ook heel lekker en uitgebreid. Kleine opmerking hierover: ‘plain’ yoghurt moet ook echt PLAIN zijn en niet evengoed gezoet… Verder zit je direct aan het Maehad beach! Resort is zeker een aanrader!

Meer een klein aandachtspunt voor de hotelgasten; bij de hotelkamers (dus niet de aparte huisjes) heb je twee soorten gordijnen met waaronder een privacy gordijn. Dit gordijn is echter alleen in het daglicht privé, dus dat je niet naar binnen kan kijken. Maar als het in de avond donker is en je hebt je licht aan op je kamer kan je wel gewoon naar binnen kijken😅 Dus dan eventjes beide gordijnen sluiten… Ook heb je in het regenseizoen het paarseizoen van de banded bullfrog. Deze kunnen nogal wat herrie maken rondom het resort dus het kan zijn dat je oordopjes nodig hebt.

El desayuno estaba muy bien y la ubicación también excelente cerca de una playa muy bonita. El complejo excelente. El único fallo es el transporte en la isla excepcionalmente caro para Tailandia y la lejanía del lugar del hotel a otras zonas si no te quieres mover en moto.

Como comentaba el transporte a cualquier lado en la isla carísimo y de accedo limitado si no era en moto

Pool war schön. Frühstück war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Sehr schönes Zimmer (Deluxeroom). Schöner Strand.

Das Standardzimmer war ok, jedoch nicht sehr komfortabel. Balkonmöbel unbequem.

Ein ausgesprochen schönes Hotel mit einem traumhaften, liebevoll gepflegten Garten und zwei herrlichen Poollandschaften. Die renovierten Zimmer überzeugen durch ihr modernes Ambiente, ihre Sauberkeit und ihren hohen Komfort. Auch das Frühstück bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Insgesamt war es ein rundum angenehmer Aufenthalt – wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!

No hay ascensor a pesar de tener tres plantas. El día del check out solicitamos ayuda para las maletas y nos dijeron que no estaba disponible, inaceptable dadas las condiciones. El mantenimiento es malo. Las sábanas tenían algunas zonas de desgaste. Son muy estrictos con las horas, retiran el desayuno incluso antes de las 10.

Prendetevi tempo al momento del check out perché prima di andare fanno un check nella stanza!

L' emplacement sur la plage, les magnifiques piscines, la chambre super propre.

Une impression d' être dans un hôtel d état. Tout est grand disproportionné et froid. Certains endroits laissés à l'abandon ( le bar de la piscine notamment ). Le personnel ultra rigide. Nous avons eu un mot dans notre chambre évoquant une serviette de main égarée... Ce qui était faux. Un moyen de surfacturer. Nous n'avons finalement rien payé mais ça donne un peu l'ambiance.

Breakfast: quality not matching my expectations. A bit surprised. I would recommend the management to wee what the other establishments are doing.

La vue de notre chambre était fantastique, sur la piscine et au fond vue sur Koh Ma directement, la mer et la baie. Je ne m'y attendais pas. Chambre et salle de bain très grande, très agréable. Panier de plage à dispo, très appréciable. 2 piscines dont une très grande avec une super vue sur la baie au bout. Très agréable. Une 2ème plus intimiste, plus ombragée. J'ai adoré prendre mon petit déj avec cette vue superbe tous les matins. Je recommande le petit déj avant 8h30 car après la circulation autour du pain devient le periph de paris ou la circulationde Bangkok! Le jardin est très bien arboré, c'est sublime. De belles fleurs à prendre en photos. L'emplacement avec la plage de Mae Haad à 2 minutes à pied et la vue sont vraiment superbes. Massages sur la plage possible et fantastiques (Mickie massage) Quelques commerces dans la rue et quartier très appréciables : locations scoot, petite superette, restaurants, et service buanderie (pas proposé à l'hotel) au top (50bht/kg en 24h!), à ne pas hésiter!!!

Equipements pouvant etre un peu vieillissant : piscine (dans la grande des spots tombant devaient etre réparés, et dans la petite un vieux bar inusagé, c'est dommage). L'équipement de la salle sport nécessiterait une petite révision. gestion serviette et ticket petit déj. Certains endroits sont occupés par le personnel, c'est dommage car ce sont des endroits qui pourraient etre exploités et aménagés de facon cosy pour els clients. Le bar de la petite piscine n'est vraiment pas très agréable, pourrait etre aménagé aussi de façon plus confort. Il manque des espaces avec des canapé du coté du restaurant pour se prelasser et boire un cocktail face à la vue. Le restaurant a une superbe vue, c'est plutot bon, mais la salle pourrait etre réaménagé pour etre plus chaleureux et cosy. L'emplacement de l'hotel est super pour la vue, mais on est loin de tout sur l'ile, je conseille la location de scoot dès le 1er jour! Le ticket pour le petit déjeuner ne sert à rien.

El hotel está muy bien. Nuevo, limpio, habitación amplia, cama comoda, desayuno estupendo, piscinas bien cuidadas, ubicación perfecta en frente de la playa

El alojamiento me encantó y volvería sin duda. El único pero qué encuentro, a parte de mejorar la sala de fitness, es que el personal de una atención a la altura del hotel. Son amables, educados, pero falta una atención más cuidada. Nos negaron las toallas de la piscina tras el check out, aún habiendo contratado con ellos el viaje posterior a otra isla y el transfer al muelle y tuvimos que esperar y preguntar varias veces para que nos llevarán.

En general está muy bien. Habitación completa y limpia, piscina grande y desayuno completo.

Mucha gente en la hora punta del desayuno. Y que el personal no nos dejó hacer el check in antes estando varias horas antes del hotel y lloviendo mucho incluso entramos más tarde. Pero para hacer el check out te tiran.

La posizione è un po' lontana dalla parte più viva dell'isola, c'è qualche ristorantino e un market. Se si affitta un motorino è ok, altrimenti rimane un po' isolata

Purtroppo abbiamo avuto una pessima esperienza di check-out che ha abbassato notevolmente la nostra considerazione del posto. Nello specifico, durante il check-out ci hanno fatto rimanere per 20 minuti (con la navetta fuori ed altri turisti ad attenderci) a discutere in reception in quanto in camera non risultava un asciugamano da viso che non avevamo utilizzato, era rimasto esattamente dov’era (errore nostro non fotografare tutto prima di lasciare la stanza!). Siamo giunti alla conclusione che è stato appositamente rimosso dallo staff durante il controllo finale per chiederci 100 baht extra (€ 2,60 no comment). Peccato perché è stato un buon soggiorno rovinato da questo episodio che personalmente ritengo molto grave, fate attenzione e vista la nostra esperienza fate foto alla camera prima del check-out!

L hôtel rend encore mieux que sur les photos et certaines chambre donnent sur une deuxième piscine, super jolie, qu on ne voit pas en photo. Super spectacle de feu où ils ont fait participer les enfants.

This place is amazing, it's beautiful, close to an amazing beach and has 2 pools which were great.

we did not like the fact that the shower door is transparent, we did not like the fact that there is an open space above the toilet door, which means the whole room hear and smell your private business. The breakfast was weird, they had good variety, but it was always empy, and the live for the eggs was so long we gave up. also the hotel has a weird idea to ring a bell when the breakfest time is over, which made us feel like cows. It think the facility is great and has lots of potential but those above affected our stay, and given the high price this hotel has i dont think we ask too much

We chose this hotel as it has a really long pool for swimming, and it didn’t disappoint in terms of size - it’s 45 meters long for lengths. The pool however does need a little bit ofmaintenance. The breakfast was very varied and the whole family enjoyed it, the omelette guy was pro, good value for money. Many of the restaurant staff were very kind and helpful. The same with the reception staff who were very welcoming. We stayed in a pool Villa which was comfortable and spacious. We loved the outdoor shower. The housekeeping staff were great. The area is quite remote and there are a few restaurants within walking distance, some better than others and tops daily for supplies. The beach was close and had beautiful picturesque sunsets, and the sand bank was interesting to walk. We saw lots of people snorkelling and the water was very calm when we visited. The grounds were well looked after, lots of beautiful plants surrounding the hotel paths. I think the pool villas were situated very well for access to the pool and the restaurant for breakfast. We stayed there as a family of 4 and the staff were very helpful in setting up the extra bed we needed.

While the pool was great for swimming, it could do with some maintenance. Some tiles and light fittings are loose and the grout needs re-doing, making it quite sharp, both our children ended up with grazes from the tiles. It didn’t put them off swimming but it is a little tired.

The hotel is so nice so beautiful, very comfortable room with a beautiful view. I spent the best 4 days in Thailand thanks to this hotel. Would definitely recommend it !

Position is great if you like a beach where you can do snorkeling…great spot with fantastic corals formations and some fish. Village rounding quite small but there’s still a decent choice of restaurants a part the hotel one that is quite good. Room are spacious, modern and quite clean. Hotel facilities are good with 2 swimming pools a small gym.

Bodde i leilighet med stue, 2 soverom og 2 bad. Stor veranda med lite basseng, utendørs boblebad og første rekke til stranden som ga god utsikt. God frokost

Dejligt med 2 pools og go’ beliggenhed i et lille lokalt miljø. Værelserne var rene og pæne, der manglede ikke noget på værelserne. Meget søde personaler og altid smilende.

Der stod på deres hjemmeside, at der var mulighed for kajak udlejning og det var der ikke. Det var træls, da det var en af grundende til, at jeg bookede dette hotel. Personalet kunne godt være lidt mere behjælpelige med forslag til ture rundt på øen.

Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass die Anlage sehr groß ist und die Pools sauber sowie gepflegt waren. Das Personal war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts freundlich und hilfsbereit. In der Nähe gibt es außerdem 1–2 gute Restaurants sowie einen kleinen Supermarkt, in dem man alles Nötige bekommt. Besonders schön war auch der Ausblick auf die Insel Koh Ma.

Leider gab es aber auch einige Punkte, die unseren Aufenthalt deutlich beeinträchtigt haben. Das WLAN war sehr schwach und oft kaum nutzbar. Das Frühstück wird nur von 7:00 bis 10:00 Uhr angeboten, was für Gäste mit einer frühen Abreise unpraktisch ist. Da wir bereits um 6:00 Uhr los mussten, konnten wir das Frühstück überhaupt nicht nutzen. Außerdem entsprach die Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer nicht der gebuchten Zimmerkategorie. Statt der erwarteten Aussicht blickten wir teilweise auf eine Abstell- bzw. Lagerfläche des Hotels. Hinzu kam, dass die Steckdose direkt neben meinem Bett leider nicht funktioniert hat. Ein weiterer negativer Punkt war der Taxiservice, der erst ab 8:00 Uhr verfügbar ist. Da es auf Koh Phangan weder Grab noch Bolt gibt, ist man auf Taxis angewiesen. Zusätzlich liegt das Hotel ziemlich abgelegen, sodass Fahrten zu Märkten, Geschäften oder anderen Orten jedes Mal mit hohen Taxikosten verbunden waren. Insgesamt ist das Hotel für alle geeignet, die Ruhe suchen. Wer jedoch flexibel unterwegs sein oder die Insel erkunden möchte, sollte die abgelegene Lage und die eingeschränkten Transportmöglichkeiten unbedingt berücksichtigen.

Große sehr grüne saubere Anlage, gutes Frühstück mit Omelett, Spiegelei, verschiedene Thai Gerichten, Salate, frisches Obst( Drachenfrucht, Ananas, Papaya, Lichees, Melone).Pools waren auch gut. Aus dem Hotel raus direkt in der Nähe verschiedene Restaurants, 2 Lebensmittel Geschäften, Massagen und Vermietung von Roller. Die Zimmer wurden sehr gut täglich gereinigt und Handtücher täglich gewechselt.

Das Hotel liegt ruhig gelegen, leider in der Näheren Umgebung nichts los. Man ist auf Roller oder Taxi angewiesen.

They will charge you for anything missing. Very disappointed with the checkout which took 30’ and was quite confrontational.

We had a wonderful stay at Maehaad Bay Resort. The location is perfect for anyone looking for peace and relaxation, just a short walk from the beautiful Mae Haad Beach and Koh Ma. The hotel is beautiful, with a huge swimming pool, spacious and comfortable rooms, and a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional throughout our stay. A special thank you to Julie at the reception, who was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and always willing to assist with a smile. The hotel’s shuttle service was excellent, reliable, and reasonably priced, making it easy to get around the island. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to couples and families looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation on Koh Phangan.

I was so impressed with the staff and how helpful they were. The food was so good, and the beach was beautiful. I felt safe and secure. The breakfast was changed up every day, and the omelets were the best.

It was a distance to walk to the beach and breakfast, but not bad. I really had little to complain about. I felt like anything that came up the staff quickly resolved any issues.

Liegen und Pool werden nicht gereinigt In der Nähe ist kaum etwas Lose Bretter unterhalb der duschen Algen überall im Pool Die vorderen Häuser, überall liegt Müll herum hinter den Häusern Pool Handtücher nur auf Wunsch ausgetauscht, man muss diese im Zimmer hinterlegen bis die housekeeper kommen (was erst gegen 11-12 der Fall war) also kann man davor dann nicht an den Pool?!? Vor dem check in keine Ausgabe von Handtüchern find ich persönlich auch bisschen fragwürdig Ameisenstrasse im Zimmer - auf unsre Beschwerde wurde nur schriftlich reagiert, passiert ist jedoch nichts.

Einfach alles ich werde wenn der Preis passt auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Schönster Aufenthalt in 4 Wochen Thailand. DANKE.

Die Glastür zur Toilette die son etwas wie Scham auslöst wenn man Sitz und jemand davor steht un Zähne putzt.

Piękny basen. Dobre śniadania. Plaża i rafa przy hotelu całkiem ciekawe. Dużo rybek na rafie która jest dostępna praktycznie od brzegu.

Spacious clean room and comfortable bed. Nice pools and grounds and pleasant, helpful staff. Thought prices at the restaurant were very reasonable and dinner and cocktails were great. Good location next to the beach.

Could be more choice at breakfast. Shower pressure could be better. Didn't like the fish pond near reception. Water level appeared too low for the fish and there were no plants or other features for them.

Super hôtel à 2 pas de Ko Ma que l’on peut atteindre à pied par un banc de sable . Très belle chambre tout confort au calme avec excellente insonorisation . Magnifiques piscines. Excellent petit déjeuner très varié . Nous avons aussi testé le resto le soir : excellent pad thaï . Resto , supérette avec laverie et location de scooters en face de l’hôtel . Bref le top pour se reposer qques jours.

L éclairage. Certaines zones de l hôtel - je parle des parties communes - sont très peu éclairées - comme celle qui menait à notre chambre par ex. Et la nuit, il faut faire attention où l’on pose les pieds ( escaliers)

We enjoyed the resort for its peaceful location within quick scooter rides to more bustling areas when you need to. They have 2 beautiful big pools which we loved. The staff were super kind, helpful and friendly. Julie at the front desk and Aon I think our housekeeper were fantastic. The breakfasts were good with different things every day both Western and Thai.

Some areas are older and in need or refreshing and maintenance.

Séjour parfait au Maehaad Bay Resort ! La chambre était au top, très spacieuse avec un jacuzzi et un vrai espace salon très agréable. La piscine de l’hôtel est grande et magnifique, parfaite pour se détendre. La plage juste à côté est superbe aussi. Tout était parfait du début à la fin. Le petit déjeuner était excellent avec beaucoup de choix. Je recommande totalement cet hôtel pour un séjour à Koh Phangan 🌴

Top Lage mit 2 schönen Poollandschaften und tollem Hotelstrand. Sehr nettes Personal und gutes Restaurant, von dem aus man Abends einen grandiosen Sonnenuntergang ansehen kann. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und lecker.

Zimmer teils in die Jahre gekommen. (Badamaturen müssten gewechselt werden) Für Gäste mit Rückenproblemen sind die Matratzen nicht zu empfehlen.

Toller Pool im vorderen Bereich der Anlage, tolle Aussicht beim Frühstück. Wählen sie am besten ein Zimmer im vorderen Teil der Anlage in Nähe des Strandes, die hinteren sind klein, dunkel und die Anlage im hinteren Teil renovierungsbedürftig. Tolles Geburtstagsarrangement erhalten und der vordere Teil der Anlage sehr schon grün und ganz viele tolle Blumen. Frühstück war gut

Keine Liegen am Strand, Zimmer im hinteren Teil der Anlage klein und dunkel. Anlage im hinteren Teil stark renovierungsbedürftig. Leider sehr weit weg von allem ohne Roller/Auto ist es schwierig

Bra läge nära en jättefin strand och Ko Ma . Lugnt. Några få restauranger runt omkring. Frukost OK, lite trångt, speciellt vid regn.

Som 75+ blev vi först tilldelade ett rum på tredje våning utan hiss som jag tror i den äldre delen. När vi klagade ordnade man detta samma dag till första våningen vilket vi uppskattade men som de väl borde förstått. Kunde inte läsa mig till innan att det var tre våningar utan hiss på boendet utan man får en uppfattning att det är låga boende runt pool. Där kände man sig lite lurad.

Struttura molto bella ed elegante con due magnifiche piscine ed un giardino molto curato e molto bello. Colazione internazionale abbondante con tanta scelta di dolci e salati. Staff e personale dell’albergo e del ristorante molto carino e gentile. Prezzi del ristorante particolarmente interessanti (me li aspettavo molto più cari).

Per via dell’orario dei traghetti, siamo arrivati a mezzogiorno, ma per politica dell’albergo la camera non viene assegnata fino alle ore 14:00. Noi avevamo un problema di valigie non arrivate e consegnateci solo nel pomeriggio. Abbiamo chiesto di poter avere almeno la camera in anticipo è anche pagando una differenza, ma il personale è stato irremovibile. Un responsabile era impossibile da contattare e la camera ci è stata poi data soltanto con meno di mezz’ora di anticipo rispetto alle 14. Un po’ più di flessibilità non guasterebbe soprattutto considerando che l’albergo è molto molto grande ed essendo in bassa stagione la stragrande maggioranza delle camere era vuota.

Très grand hôtel impersonnel 1 tasse cassée: 300 bath ..a ce prix là,on en achete au moins 5 en Thaïlande .. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est bien placé sur la plage mais les plats sont bof. Les piscines n'ouvrent qu'à partir de 8h et ferment à 19h.

Room facilities were good. Bathroom and bathtub were perfect. Pool is great for enjoying with family (yet requires some renovation).

Staff at the restaurant are sooooo slow. Waiting for a bottle of beer for 10 minues with only 3 tables - easy, waiting for the food for 40 minutes with same 3 tables - sure why not...

The property itself was so gorgeous and picturesque with the contrast of white and dark, warmer woods around. Just outside of our luxury room, we had the stunning secondary pool with beautiful dark greens and perfect little spots to lay out in the sun and a really cool waterfall in the pool! The whole place had a palace feel, quiet and beautiful. The room itself is massively spacious with a room-sized shower, immaculately clean and a lot of room for storage for your own items. I loved their bag you could bring out with the towels to the pool, and the slippers and robes were a nice, luxurious touch! The staff made us feel like family every time I tried to connect and speak Thai, you could see how much they appreciated it and wanted to connect. The complimentary breakfast was unreal, we couldn’t believe it came with the unbelievable price of our stay and we felt lucky every morning we got to dine at the restaurant they have overlooking the bay. Delicious flavors that are clearly made with love and intention, and still the best curry I had the entire trip! - Highly recommend the duck curry with pineapple if you are a curry lover or curious! The adorable staff even went as far to sing my husband happy birthday, gift him a yummy lava cake at breakfast and decorate our bedroom with incredible fresh flowers spelling out happy birthday! It was the sweetest thing ever. We couldn’t believe how far they went to make him feel so special. The staff are truly why this place feels so magical. Every time we walked by the desk to our room or out, we felt this powerful exchange with these wonderful people that really kept wanting to stay after we had left. This was our first real resort in Thailand on our honeymoon, and even being back for over a month now, we still reminisce on how powerful of an impact Mae Haad and the staff left on us. If you are wanting a serene getaway with a quieter vibe to enjoy the north side of Koh pha ngan - Mae Haad is the top of the top!

La salle de bain ouverte .

De ligging van het hotel is mooi, mooi strand. Ontbijt is ok, elke dag een kok die lekker omelet ging maken.

De mensen bij de receptie waren niet zo aardig. We hadden 9 mnd van te voren geboekt en aangegeven dat we eerder zouden komen. Hier is geen gehoor aangegeven, we moesten w u wachten. Na een 1 u wachten nogmaals gevraagd en opeens was de kamer klaar. Dat kwam niet van het hotel uit. We hadden ook een taxi via receptie besteld maar deze waren zij vergeten te regelen, geen enkele excuses werden gemaakt.

The resort had clean facilities and extremely helpful staff, with great variety of options for breakfasts and walking distance to a very stunning beach.

Everything was great

The changing variety of breakfast makes Me forgive other short comings of This hotel. The pool was very pleasant though not very clean, the water was somewhat cloudy. The off shore snorkelling n beautiful sandbanks were lovely.

We were given a room on the wing near the road. The staircase has no handrail when coming down n approaching the lobby - can be dangerous if u are carrying something. The drain didn’t drain well In our room - so we have to pull out the cover n out come a king size cockroach. We were too afraid n didn’t take photos.

The swimming pool size. Yet very very dirty

Plage vraiment très belle. Hotel proche de la plage même s'il faut marcher un bout car pas possible de se baigner juste devant. Endroit au calme donc si vous aimez les endroits animés ce n'est pas une bonne idée de choisir cet endroit.

Es war alles sehr gepflegt. Frühstück war sehr gut. Zimmer toll. Pools toll.

Fitness ist sehr wichtig, es boomt auch. Dann muss man unbedingt auch gute Geräte haben. Das Angebot war sehr schlecht. Keine funktionierenden Geräte. Wer Fitness macht, kennt sich auch mit Geräten aus. Mit hat ein Blick gereicht

Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä, etenkin ravintolan puolella. Meillä oli kattoterassillinen huone ja se oli aivan loistava. Todella siisti huone, ja pinnat näyttivät uusituilta, myös amme oli kiva lisä. Lähellä oli muutama ravintola kävelymatkan päässä sekä kauppa. Meillä oli myös skootteri vuokrattuna ja sillä tuli tutkittua saarta enemmän. Voin suositella paikka 5/5.
