The hôtel is very comfortable , the breakfast is very good , the room is clean , except for the tiny water bottle which seems to be too small for a customer in a hot country , I think a bigger water bottle is not much more expensive for your hotel , but it gives a better impression of your hotel (4 * hotel) . Your staff was very polite . Thanks

Dirty, noisy , food bad

Just 10 minutes walk to the beach. The swimable beach with local public water taps around.

Staff was very friendly. The only thing that let my stay down was both nights I went down for breakfast at 6am and both times the pot of coffee was cold and the tea was so weak it tasted like milk and water. I also thought there was lack of variety, hot meals was very bland. Coco pops was very soft and soggy both times, very obvious to me they use the same bowl of cereal instead of using fresh. Cakes were very nice though, only good thing I can say about breakfast unfortunately. Both mornings I ended up going out for breakfast afterwards.

Beautiful hotel near the front beach. Happy staff, enthusiastic support. Breakfast has many dishes to choose from. The swimming pool is small but clean. The room is spacious, clean and very comfortable. Whenever I go, I get a preferential price. Satisfied with everything❤️.

MT located at the “hot spot” in VT, its closed to everything and the public beach nearby is another plus. The room was clean and neat. My son was having a bit trouble with his stomach by night and the staff generously gave us another blanket and towels. Thank you. The pool is so so, but you are at the beach, lets just play and swim at the beach :)

Whenever I go to Vung Tau I always stay at the Moon Thanh Vung Tau hotel, and I have been there a few times. The position is excellent being so close to the beach. The staff are helpful and friendly and always willing to chat and have a laugh with me. Over time I have made a very good friend in Truc (aka Bonnie) who is now the General Manager there. We always share a coffee and photos when I visit. If you have a room overlooking the beach you can watch what's happening in the park opposite or watch the fishing fleet coming and going. I recommend getting up early, around 5.30 - 6.00 am and walking along the beach watching the women doing their exercises or the fishermen bringing in their catch and the women selling straight from the boat to your plate. All in all I highly recommend the Muong Tan hotel for your next stay in Vung Tau.

The staff were great, friendly and responsive. Room was not the best though. Mattress was too hard and uncomfortable, the cleaners took away my shower curtain (don't know why) and did not replace, so water from showering went everywhere. aided by a loose fitting for the shower head - which the staff were aware of but did not fix or move me to another room - however I did not ask to be moved in any case. Power point in room was already burnt out so could not be used. When asked to extend my checkout time I was told this would at an additional cost - however later that night the manager informed me there would be no charge.

A good, clean hotel about 300 metres from Front beach. The room was clean and AC worked well. Service was friendly, and the lobby was grand. Included buffet breakfast was really good with Asian, local and Western options, plus omelette and noodle stand. Good location with lots of restaurants/bars within walking distance. Some noise from neighbouring rooms and corridor was annoying.

Hotel with city view and good customer service. The services come with breakfast with very good food and drinks. The beds are quite comfortable. Bonus point to the soundproof room therefore at night cars and noises outside aren't annoying

Pleasant and friendly customer service that bring us back to this hotel. This hotel location is close to coffee shops,restaurants and many activities.

A VERY GOOD 4 STAR HOTEL WITH 5 STAR STAFF, UNFORTUNATELY MY PARTNER WAS IN HOSPITAL FOR 4 DAYS AND IN BED FOR ANOTHER 5 SO WE DIDNT GET TO SEE OR DO MUCH BUT WORDS CAN'T EXPLAIN MY GRATITUDE TO THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE AT THIS HOTEL, THEY CATERED FOR OUR EVERY NEED NO MATTER WHAT TIME OF DAY OR NIGHT, ALWAYS WITH A SMILE AND EXTREMELY COURTEOUS , THEY HELPED US WITH GETTING BACK AND FORTH TO HOSPITAL AND BROUGHT MY PARTNER BREAKFAST IN BED AND ALWAYS ASKING IF THEY COULD DO ANYTHING FOR US. UNFORTUNATELY WE DIDNT GET TO KNOW ALL THEIR NAMES BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SAY A SPECIAL THANKYOU TO A WONDERFUL YOUNG MAN CALLED TUAN (RECEPION SUPERVISOR) WHO HELPED US SO MUCH SPENDING LOTS OF TIME AT THE HOSPITAL WITH US HELPING WITH TRANSLATION AND BRINGING US FOOD AND DRINKS AND EXTRA BEDDING FROM THE HOTEL

Great hotel, good location

what we did at the hotel all good ,breakfast good staff efficient and obliging to requests. Had some fun with a couple of staff learning Vietnamese and English while having a beer in the bar, very good ambassadors for the hotel.

Very comfortable hotel in a great position. Staff were very helpful. Only negative for me was that i had a shower over the bath, and no shower screen. Water went everywhere. Nice big rooms with mountain and sea views

Not a 4 star, maybe in Asian market but not in world market. Good staff, hotel needs attention to what is required for 4 star. A weighing scales in room may be tick in the box for star rating, but worn bed covers, no mattresses for pool chairs, all 3 of their pool umbrellas broken, no pool side towels until asked for, certainly is not part of a box ticking exercise. Management need to support their positive staff with investment to pay attention to details of signs of wear and tare. Could be really good, but needs attention

Well located hotel and very professional check-in staff and porters. But the housekeeping was very poor, and could not get room cleaned one day at all. Rooms are very tired and badly need maintenance with bathroom and aircon needing updating (or just basic repairs! Does not warrant its own 4 star rating. More a tired 3 star hotel.

First tiime we stayed at Muong Thanh Vung Tau but definitely won’t be the last. Location is good close to everything thing. Short walk to the beach. Room is clean and modern. Excellent customer service.

The hotel was very pleasant to stay in. The room was very comfortable and cleaned to a good standard, air con worked well and internet was good. The staff on reception were very helpful and always provided assistance when asked. The location is near the beach, however this is only a small one and you will need to take a taxi (around 80,000 Dong) to the main beach area. There are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance and some shops nearby. The location is in a side road, so no noise from traffic

Areas for improvement: - Hotel reception staff was not honest about hotel condition when asked, saying that it was built 5 years ago but i think it looked more like a 30 years old hotel. In overall, the hotel look 'very' dated and furnishing in room is not in good condition. Staffs has limited command of english, please be patient with them or slowdown when conversing with them. - Hotel reception also tend to 'keep' your passport without informing you. Don't be surprised! Anyway, pls insist to only let reception keeps a photocopy instead of letting them to have the original copy for the whole duration of your stay. They unwillingly relented after i insisted which didn't make it a pleasant experience for me. - Had worst experience with the Laren Spa at ground floor of the hotel, part of the Muong Thanh hotel offered services. Massage service is extremely poor where i actually think the masseurs do not what massage is all about. Please do not waste your $ with this outlet. Any massage outlet in Bangkok is easily 10 times better than this one. - Hotel doesn't provide iron/ironing board. Therefore, you might want to skip this hotel if you are travel on business and has any shirts to be ironed. Commendable items: - Breakfast was ok with plenty of tasty options. At least, i liked the b/fast served every morning. - Hotel is very near to beachfront, less than 3 mins walk to beachfront.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Check-in/out was very fast and hassle-free. The room is very spacious and quiet and also offers a nice view of the area. The room and bathroom are very clean and the restaurant on the 1st floor offers great prices.

The room carpet was very old, dirty, the room cleaning was poor. The staff is good.

Nice, modern hotel, good breakfast buffet, helpful staff. We stayed there just before Vietnamese New Year so things were pretty quiet. We didn't realize that the water taxi service would be down for the holidays, and getting between Vung Tau and Saigon airport by taxi takes 2 to 2.5 hours.

Very much a hotel with a local feel from large open spaces of unclear design to a rather perfunctory pool but.very friendly staff who tried hard to help.

Had an excellent stay. The hotel Staff Mr Tri Nguyen are amazing and helped make our stay in Vung Tao even more enjoyable, i cannot praise him enough !!! Hotel managament should promote him as superviser or manager .He can speak and understand well in English

After booking and playing on hotels.com, I was told at the front desk that hotels.com just took my reservation and did not charge me, so they asked for payment which I paid. Later I checked my bank statement and found that I had indeed been charged twice. Hotels.com blame the hotel however after 1 week of waiting they say they can't get the hotel to refund me because of the language barrier. Very disappointed with hotel.com and the hotel over this

Good hotel for tourist or businessman. Room is comfortable, clean and the welcome fruit basket is a nice tough.

NICE LOCATION , NICE STAFF, CLEAN HOTE WORTH THE MONEY YOU PAY

The blanket cover has never changed I stayed on Thursday- Friday and came back for another 2 days on Monday- Tuesday in the same room. First day on Thursday i saw the big dirty spot on the blanket, but the dirty spot was there after room cleaned on Friday. The old and dirty spot still there when i came back on Monday and Tuesday. Staff should be keep track the cleaner after all.

The Hotel which is rated 4 stars, and supposed to keep this high standard, is unfortunately over rated by far. The Reception was very little professional. Their English skills were limited to SLOW Speaking Guests. When getting the Room on 11th floor, Room Nr. 1105, it was smelly and uncomfortable.
